Abstract

This utility model relates to the food industry, specifically to methods for processing secondary plant materials, and can be used to obtain extracts from sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) cake. The technical result consists of producing a sea buckthorn cake extract with high antioxidant and antitumor activity by increasing the efficiency of extracting biologically active substances. The specified result is achieved by the fact that the method for obtaining the extract includes preliminary drying of the cake at a temperature of (50 ± 2) °C for 18 hours, grinding it to a particle size of (3 ± 0.5) μm, extraction with food ethyl alcohol with a concentration of 50–90% at a temperature of (60 ± 2) °C for 30 minutes using ultrasonic radiation with a frequency of 35 kHz at a ratio of raw materials and extractant of 1:5–1:15, subsequent centrifugation, filtration, concentration and vacuum drying at a temperature of (60 ± 2)°C until a dry extract is obtained.
