Abstract
This utility model is a medical device and is a disposable surgical drape for cesarean sections. The drape is made of non-woven SMS material with a density of 40–60 g / m² and integrated polyethylene elements, joined by ultrasonic welding. The standard version, a 250x160 cm canvas, contains a main 30x30 cm surgical window with a self-adhesive incision film, a drainage pocket-reservoir for collecting biological fluids, fixation elements, and an additional 30x30 cm window equipped with a folding flap made of transparent polyethylene with textile Velcro fasteners. The technical result: enabling the safe transfer of a newborn from a sterile area to the mother for early skin-to-skin contact directly during surgery, while maintaining complete asepsis of the surgical field. The device is sterile and intended for single use.
