Universal modular hydroelectric power station system on river canals

Abstract

The utility model pertains to hydropower and is designed to generate electrical energy by converting the kinetic energy of a water flow into mechanical and subsequent electrical energy without the construction of dams or permanent hydraulic structures. The system includes a riverbed with a vertical drop and an artificial water channel connected to the riverbed, along which turbogenerator units are installed. Each unit contains a housing with a vertically mounted turbine shaft, turbine blades, a power generation element, flow and water level sensors, and an adjustable cover with a drive cylinder. Additionally, a bypass spillway, drainage channels, water barrier plates, and an automatic control system are included. The technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of flow energy conversion, ensuring adaptive regulation of water flow, increasing operational stability and the possibility of modular scaling of the system.
