Abstract
Enula viscosa is a plant that possesses anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antioxidant properties. The content of phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and tannins was then measured, and the plant's antioxidant capacity was assessed using a root inhibition assay. A cream containing free (DPPH) was prepared. The treatment involved 5% crude aqueous extract and 2% essential oil of the Inula viscosa plant, as these two components have a synergistic effect. Nine mice were wounded and divided into three groups: a control group, a Fucidin group, and an Inula viscosa cream group. The results showed that the Inula viscosa cream significantly reduced the wound area without any complications. Keywords: Enula viscosa, antioxidant, phenols, flavonoids, crude extract, essential oil, wound healing, mouse
