DEVICE FOR RESEARCH OF LYME DISEASE WITH BED BUGS AND TICKS.

Abstract

The present invention describes a device for investigating Lyme disease using bed bugs and ticks. It features sliding rails and a guide bar to adjust the animal's positioning according to its size, as well as extensions and auxiliary extensions to increase the size of the holding plate where the animal is placed for larger animals. The device also includes containers for housing the Lyme disease-carrying insects. A diaphragm-shaped perforation is incorporated through which the animal is exposed to the insects. A wireless communication unit remotely controls the opening and closing of the containers and the diaphragm. The device for investigating Lyme disease using bed bugs and ticks has cameras installed to monitor the animal during the experiment.
