Abstract
The present invention describes the development of a portable monitoring system that measures subsoil moisture and plant temperature using thermal imaging. The system also includes a GPS device to precisely determine the location of measurements within the cultivated area, thus identifying plant growth trends. Furthermore, the electronic system has an adjustable tripod base that allows measurements to be taken at different heights according to the plant's growth.
