Abstract

The present invention relates to pesticide mixtures comprising as active compound I a carboxamide derivative active as an insecticide and at least one active compound II selected from group M comprising acetylcholine esterase inhibitors, GABA-regulated chloride channel antagonists, sodium channel modulators, nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonists / antagonists, allosteric nicotinic acetylcholine receptor activators, chloride channel activators, juvenile hormone mimics, homopteran feeding blockers, mite growth inhibitors, mitochondrial ATP synthase inhibitors, oxidative phosphorylation uncouplers, chitin biosynthesis inhibitors, molting disruptors, ecdyson receptor agonists, octamine receptor agonists, MET inhibitors, voltage-gated sodium channel blockers, lipid synthesis inhibitors,ryanodine receptor modulators and other compounds defined in the description, in synergistically effective amounts. The invention also relates to methods and the use of these mixtures to combat and control insects, arachnids, or nematodes in plants, and to protect these plants against pest infestation, in particular also to protect plant propagation material, such as seeds.

Claims

1. 5. Pesticide mixtures according to claims 1, 2, or 3, wherein at least one active compound II is lambda-cyhalothrin or alpha-cypermethrin.

Pesticide mixtures according to claims 1, 2, or 3, wherein at least one active compound II is selected from acrinathrin, bifenthrin, cyfluthrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, alpha-cypermethrin, deltamethrin, esfenvalerate, fenpropathrin, flucythrinate, tau-fluvalinate, silafluofen, or tralomethrin.

7. Pesticide mixtures according to claims 1, 2, or 3, wherein at least one active compound II is selected from bifenthrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, alpha-cypermethrin, tefluthrin, or deltamethrin.

8. Pesticide mixtures according to claims 1, 2, or 3, wherein the additional fungicidal active compound III is pyraclostrobin.

9. Pesticide mixtures according to claims 1, 2, or 3,wherein the additional active compound III is fluxapyroxad.

12. A method for protecting plants against attack or infestation by insects, mites, or nematodes, comprising contacting the plant, or the soil or water where the plant grows, with a mixture according to any one of claims 1 to 11 in amounts effective as a pesticide.

14. A method for protecting plant propagation material,comprising contacting plant propagation material with a mixture as defined in any of claims 1 to 11 in quantities effective as a pesticide.

15. Seed, comprising the mixture according to any of claims 1 to 11 in an amount of 0.1 g / 100 kg per 100 kg of seed.

16. The use of a mixture according to any of claims 1 to 11 to control insects, arachnids, or nematodes.

17. A pesticide composition, comprising a liquid or solid carrier and a mixture according to any of claims 1 to 11.
