Abstract
This description provides a control method, a device, and an apparatus for a liquid-cooled pipe of a battery energy storage system. The control method comprises: monitoring the battery energy storage system to obtain the operating mode of the battery energy storage system and an initial temperature of a plurality of battery cells in any of the battery groups within the battery energy storage system; determining a thermal management mode to be activated for the battery energy storage system; and evaluating whether the battery energy storage system needs to perform start-up flow control, based on the initial temperature and operating mode of the plurality of battery cells in each of the battery groups.And in response to the need for the battery energy storage system to perform starting flow control, a target battery group is determined based on the initial temperature and thermal management mode of the battery cells in each group, and a flow control valve is activated in a branch of the liquid cooling pipe corresponding to the target battery group. Therefore, the target battery group requiring flow control can be automatically identified, and the flow in the branch of the liquid cooling pipe corresponding to the target battery group can be effectively controlled, thereby effectively improving the temperature difference between the battery groups.
