Abstract
The present invention relates to a system for monitoring the physiological variables of a patient who is supplied with oxygen through an oxygen concentrator. It contains a central control device which makes the concentrator's operating process controlled by the oxygen extraction device. This device also controls the monitoring of three fundamental variables of a patient: the first measurement is the electrical activity of the heart through an electrocardiogram, another measurement is body temperature, and finally the oxygen saturation level and pulse rate for real-time display. All of this is aimed at streamlining essential patient measurements to reduce costs for additional medical devices, and to ensure the patient is adequately monitored for their medical condition. Furthermore, these measurements were the most requested during the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic, and having them under control could save lives.
