Abstract
The present invention relates to a non-invasive, multimodal ventilator with remote monitoring developed for the treatment of respiratory syndromes that allows its parameters to be adjusted and the patient's condition to be monitored remotely in real time simultaneously. It comprises a compact and portable cabinet housing a first microcontroller connected to a plurality of sensors that collect information on the physical properties of the air; a turbine, controlled by a controller connected to the first microcontroller via a digital-to-analog converter that generates a signal to power the turbine motor, which produces an airflow that is sent to an outlet; and a humidification system containing a water reservoir that comes into contact with the airflow generated by the turbine to humidify it.a second microcontroller that handles the processing of data received by a plurality of sensors; a tube connected at one end to the cabinet by means of an elbow coupled to the outlet; an air intake that allows air to enter the cabinet and comprises a grille and an installed filter; a respiratory interface that supplies airflow to the patient; and a power supply.
