Abstract
The present invention relates to nebulizing devices for forming thin films, or coatings, on substrates or materials. The arrangement of the elements, as well as their design, facilitates the refilling of liquids or precursor solutions, reduces energy consumption, minimizes material waste, reduces economic impact due to the smaller quantity of reagents required, is portable, allows for remote operation, and is safer for users. The present portable device (100) for forming thin films comprises a container (10) open at its upper and lower faces, which is cylindrical, rigid, and hollow, and whose functions are to hold a previously prepared precursor solution and facilitate subsequent refilling of the precursor solution;A piezoelectric transducer element (20) is horizontally coupled to the lower open face of the open container (10), wherein said piezoelectric transducer element (20) contains a vibrating microporous mesh (21) that is energized and operates at a specific frequency that causes the vibration to be ultrasonic, and wherein the porosity of the vibrating microporous mesh (21) allows the liquid of the precursor substance poured into the open container (10) to be ejected downwards and expanded, by the effect of gravity, in the form of droplets that, upon contact with the upper surface of at least one substrate (1), form a thin film; a microcontroller (30) connected to the piezoelectric transducer element (20), energized by means of an electronic circuit, wherein its elements are interconnected with each other in order to generate an oscillatory mechanical movement of said piezoelectric transducer element (20);and at least one rigid support means (40) that allows the installation and positioning of the open container (10) by means of a plurality of fastening means (41).;
