Abstract

[Problem] To provide an order delivery method for fresh produce and system that can harvest and deiiver fresh produce with high added value to a consumer. [Solution] An order delivery method for fresh produce for directly delivering fresh produce grown in a fresh produce cultivation facility without passing through intermediary organizations or the like after harvesting the fresh produce according to an order from a consumer includes: an order waiting step of starting a waiting state for an order from a consumer for the fresh produce when the fresh produce reaches a mature state suitable for harvest; a delivery destination confirmation step of referring to delivery destination information included in an order when the order is received from a consumer in the waiting state to confirm that the delivery destination is within a predetermined distance from the fresh produce cultivation facility; a harvesting step of harvesting fresh produce corresponding to the order on condition that it is confirmed in the delivery destination confirming step that the delivery destination is within a predetermined distance; a packaging step of packaging the fresh produce harvested in the harvesting step; and a delivery step of directly delivering the fresh produce package created in the packaging step to the consumer.
