Instrument for testing tubular samples in a complex stress state

Abstract

The subject of the invention is a device for testing tubular samples (8) subjected to complex stress conditions resulting from the use of a combination of axial force, torque and internal pressure in tubular samples, enabling testing of tubular samples (8) under given conditions.An apparatus for testing tubular samples in a complex state of stress with a predetermined internal pressure in the machine is characterized in that it comprises three securing systems for securing the tubular sample (8), wherein the upper end of the tubular sample (8) is secured in the upper body (2) and the lower end of the tubular sample (8) is secured in the lower body (15), wherein the first securing system comprises two self-sealing pins (5) inserted into the center of the tubular sample (8) at both ends of the tubular sample (8), the second securing system comprises a locking system (7) in the upper body (2) and the lower body (15), and the third securing system comprises a set of four quarter rings (3) secured one set each to the upper body (2) and the lower body (15), respectively. The invention also relates to a method for testing tubular samples using the apparatus for testing tubular samples according to the invention and its use for testing tubular samples.
