Mold for producing urethral rods

Abstract

A mould for the production of tubular rods made of plastic, provided with a cavity for receiving a liquid mass, is disclosed, comprising a monolithic mould (1) provided with an internal cylindrical hollow core (3) which extends in the axial direction along the longer edge of the mould (1), wherein the core (3) is connected to the cavity by an open cut (2) with a depth reaching the axis of the core (3), which forms a core rib, wherein the core (3) ends at one end at its base with a pouring hole (4), wherein the mould comprises closing elements (5) adapted to be placed on the mould (1), wherein the mould is made of a polymer mixture.
