Description

[0001] The invention relates to a pressing unit of a rotary drawing machine and can be used in the metalworking industry.

[0002] The prototype is a pressing unit of a rotary drawing machine, comprising a cylindrical body connected to a base, platforms for fixing a drawing roller, and drawing rollers [CN 102601197 B, publication date: 23.04.2014].

[0003] A disadvantage of the prototype is the need to stop the machining process to change the type of drawing roller used. Thus, while the machine is running, changing the drawing roller acting on the workpiece requires stopping the machine and, consequently, the entire production line in which it is installed. The pressing unit must then be loosened and its housing rotated to the appropriate side. Furthermore, during the entire process of changing the drawing rollers, the production line in which the machine is installed is down, reducing production efficiency.

[0004] The technical problem that the invention is aimed at solving is to eliminate the existing shortcomings of the prototype.

[0005] The technical result that the invention is aimed at achieving consists in providing the possibility of changing the drawing rollers acting on the workpiece during the operation of the pressing unit installed on the rotary drawing machine, without the need to stop the process of obtaining the product.

[0006] An additional technical result, which the invention is aimed at achieving, is to increase the reliability of fixing the housing relative to the base.

[0007] The essence of the invention is as follows.

[0008] The pressing unit of the rotary drawing machine comprises a housing. Unlike the prototype, the housing is rotatable around a supporting axis and secured to a base. The pressing unit comprises a lifting and rotating device connected to the supporting axis and including a rod connected to the housing and lines for the lifting and rotating device. Protrusions and recesses are formed on the contact surfaces of the housing and base.

[0009] The housing allows for tool installation, with attachment points on its side for the draw rollers. The housing is designed for placement within the interior of a lifting and rotating device. The housing is connected to a base, allowing the pressing unit to be mounted on a rotary drawing machine. The housing may have a cover attached to the side opposite the base, providing access to the interior. The contact surfaces of the housing and base are provided with projections and recesses that allow the housing to be positioned relative to the base while rotating the housing to change the draw rollers. Additionally, to improve the reliability of the housing's position relative to the base, the projections and recesses may be prismatic.

[0010] The lifting and rotating device includes a lifting unit and a stem rotation unit, a stem connected to the housing, and lines of the lifting and rotating device. The stem lifting unit can be connected to the stem rotation unit via a detachable (threaded) or permanent (welded, riveted, etc.) connection. Two lines can be connected to the stem lifting unit, providing the ability to supply hydraulic fluid for raising and lowering the stem. Two lines can be connected to the stem rotation unit, providing the ability to supply hydraulic fluid for rotating the housing relative to the base clockwise and counterclockwise. Preferably, the rotation unit can provide stem rotation of up to 120°.Within the context of this invention, "lines" refer to channels or tubular elements, one end of which is secured to a lifting or rotating assembly, and the other may contain a fitting or other element that allows connection to a hydraulic supply device. Additionally, to improve the secure attachment of the housing relative to the base, a chamfer may be provided on the end of the piston rod, preventing rotation of the piston rod relative to the housing.

[0011] The pressure unit may include a faceplate configured to adjust the rotation of the housing relative to the piston rod. For this purpose, the faceplate may have oval-shaped adjustment holes. The faceplate may be secured to the piston rod with a locking nut and to the housing cover with threaded elements.

[0012] The invention is characterized by a previously unknown set of essential features from the prior art, characterized in that the pressing unit contains a lifting and rotating device connected to the base, including a rod connected to the body, and lines of the lifting and rotating device, wherein protrusions and recesses are formed on the contacting sides of the body and the base.

[0013] The essential features of the invention enable the lifting and rotating device to lift a rod connected to a housing, which holds the platforms for securing the drawing rollers relative to the base. The housing can then be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise, and then lowered and locked in place for the entire duration of the product's production. Thus, after the housing has been rotated, another roller, secured to the pressing unit, acts on the workpiece. Furthermore, projections and recesses allow the housing to be secured relative to the base after changing the drawing roller. The developed design also boasts high strength, allowing the required force to be applied to the workpiece without the risk of housing rotation or damage.

[0014] This ensures the achievement of a technical result consisting in the possibility of changing the drawing rollers acting on the workpiece during the operation of the pressing unit installed on the rotary drawing machine, without the need to stop the process of obtaining the product.

[0015] The invention has a set of essential features previously unknown in the prior art, which indicates its compliance with the patentability criterion of “novelty”.

[0016] The invention is unknown in the prior art and does not clearly follow from it. Therefore, the invention meets the patentability criterion of "inventive step."

[0017] The invention is explained by the following figures.

[0018] Fig. 1 – Rotary drawing machine, isometric view.

[0019] Fig. 2 – Pressure unit, isometric view.

[0020] Fig. 3 – Pressure unit, bottom view.

[0021] Fig. 4 – Pressure unit, longitudinal section.

[0022] To illustrate the possibility of implementation and a more complete understanding of the essence of the invention, an embodiment of it is presented below, which can be changed or supplemented in any way, while the present invention is in no way limited to the presented embodiment.

[0023] The pressing unit of the rotary drawing machine comprises a cylindrical body 10, a base 12 and a cover 14, a lifting and rotating device, platforms 16 for fixing the drawing rollers and drawing rollers 18.

[0024] The lifting and turning device comprises a rod 20 and a lifting unit 22 and a rod rotation unit 24, connected to each other by a threaded connection. The lifting unit 22 comprises a piston secured to the rod 20, mounted in a cylindrical chamber of the unit 22 and dividing it into two cavities. One cavity of the chamber of the unit 22 is connected to a hydraulic line 26 for lowering and fixing the rod, and the other is connected to a hydraulic line 28 for lifting the rod. The rod rotation unit 24 comprises a hollow rod in which the rod 20 is secured, as well as a rotary sector mounted in the cylindrical chamber of the unit 24 and dividing it into two cavities. In this case, the rod 20 is secured in the hollow rod with the possibility of longitudinal movement, as well as with the possibility of fixing the rod 20 from turning in the hollow rod. One cavity of the chamber of the unit 24 is connected to the hydraulic line 30 for turning the rod 20 clockwise, and the other is connected to the hydraulic line 32 for turning the rod 20 counterclockwise.

[0025] On the side of the cover 14, a platform 34 is secured to the lifting unit 22, connected to a cylinder 36, which is connected to the base 12. A chamfer is made on the outer end of the rod 20.

[0026] Cover 14 is secured to body 10 by a threaded connection. Prismatic projections and recesses are formed on the lower surface of body 10 on the side of base 12, while matching prismatic projections and recesses are formed on base 12 on the side of body 10. A hole for mounting rod 20 is formed in the center of cover 14, and faceplate 38 is secured to cover 14 with a hole for rod 20 coaxial with the hole in cover 14. Moreover, the hole in cover 14 is formed to match the shape of rod 20.

[0027] Faceplate 38 is designed to adjust the position of housing 10 relative to rod 20. For this purpose, it has oval-shaped adjustment holes, into which screws are installed, connecting faceplate 38 to housing cover 14. Faceplate 38 is secured to rod 20 by a locking nut.

[0028] The invention works as follows.

[0029] The pressing units are secured on the rotary drawing machine, after which the drawing rollers 18 are installed on the platforms 16. Then the workpiece is fixed in the spindle of the headstock 40 by pressing it with the tailstock 42. Then the finished product is formed from the workpiece.

[0030] During the molding process, the pressing unit automatically rotates to create various shapes of the finished product. To do this, hydraulic fluid is supplied through hydraulic line 28 to rod lifting unit 22, after which body 10 and cover 14 are raised relative to base 12. Hydraulic fluid is then supplied to turning unit 24, thereby rotating body 10. After body 10 has rotated to a certain angle, hydraulic fluid is supplied to rod lowering hydraulic line 26 in rod lifting unit 22, thereby lowering body 10 and cover 14 and fixing its position throughout the subsequent process of product formation. In this case, when lowering, the projections with depressions on the body 10 are aligned with the projections and depressions on the base 12. If it is necessary to adjust the angle of rotation of the rod 20, the screws of the faceplate 38 are loosened and the body 10 is turned relative to the rod 20 in the required position, after which the screws are tightened.

[0031] Thus, the technical result is achieved, which consists in providing the possibility of changing the drawing rollers acting on the workpiece during the operation of the pressing unit installed on the rotary drawing machine, without the need to stop the process of obtaining the product.
