Description

[0001] The claimed technical solution relates to mechanical engineering, namely to a device for carrying out assembly and disassembly work and maintenance with spindles of various types and sizes: drive spindles, motor spindles, grinding, drilling and turning spindles.

[0002] A prior art solution comprises a workbench for repairing long items, comprising vertical posts and a horizontal tabletop with a fixed clamping device. A retractable tabletop is positioned in guides beneath the horizontal tabletop, moving relative to the longitudinal axis of the workbench and equipped with a horizontal telescopic rod connected to an adjustable vertical post. The adjustable post is equipped with a lead screw, a nut, and a support and retaining device formed by two hinged half-rings equipped with a lock. Russian Patent No. 2445201, published March 20, 2012.

[0003] A known solution is a spindle fixture, selected as the closest analogue. The fixture includes supports for accommodating the spindle, clamping mechanisms with rotating rods for securing the spindle to the supports, and mounted on a rotating worktable. Chinese Patent No. 216138805, published March 29, 2022.

[0004] The objective of the stated technical solution is to create a universal, reliable and convenient design of a stand for mounting a spindle.

[0005] The technical result of the claimed solution is to improve the manufacturability of the spindle mounting stand and to increase the accuracy of spindle positioning.

[0006] Increased technological efficiency is achieved, in particular, by the simplicity and ease of use of the bench, in particular when fastening the spindle; adjusting the bench, its maintenance and repair.

[0007] Increasing the accuracy of spindle positioning is achieved, in particular, by eliminating its displacement during the fixation process, the ability to precisely adjust the required position, and eliminating the displacement of the units and parts of the frame that affect the position of the spindle.

[0008] The claimed technical result is achieved due to the fact that the stand for fastening the spindle includes prisms for placing the spindle on them, mounted on a base with the ability to move along it by means of guides made on the prisms, corresponding to longitudinal grooves made in the base, and pressure stands, each of which includes a rod rigidly fixed on the corresponding prism, on which a pressure paw is mounted with the ability to axially rotate above the spindle in a horizontal plane, and a pressure screw secured in a through threaded hole of the corresponding pressure paw with the ability to rotate relative to it to press the spindle to the prisms.

[0009] The ability to move the prisms relative to the base via guides on the prisms, which correspond to longitudinal grooves in the base, ensures precise, linear, and coaxial movement of the prisms, eliminating the risk of any deviations that could lead to spindle installation errors and inaccurate machining. Furthermore, this connection allows for quick and smooth adjustment of the distance between the prisms for spindles of different lengths without the use of additional tools or disassembly, ensuring high processability.

[0010] The clamping rods, fixed to the prisms, prevent relative displacement of the prisms when applying clamping force, ensuring system stability and preventing possible spindle shifts; this also improves the ease and convenience of operation of the stand by eliminating the need for separate installation and adjustment of the clamping unit.

[0011] The clamping foot, mounted with the ability to rotate horizontally above the spindle, allows for optimal direction of the clamping force vector toward the spindle surface, preventing its displacement. It also facilitates positioning the clamping foot above the spindle, as simply rotating the foot to the desired location is sufficient.

[0012] A clamping screw, secured in a through-threaded hole in the corresponding clamping foot and capable of rotating relative to it, is necessary for clamping the spindle to the prisms. Protruding pins at the top of the screws allow for manual application of controlled clamping force, further enhancing the accuracy of spindle placement and machining and the ease of use of the stated jig.

[0013] The presence of a pad fixed in the clamping screw for contact with the spindle increases the coefficient of friction at the contact point, reliably preventing the screw from slipping during clamping, further increasing the strength of the clamping force and the accuracy of spindle positioning. The presence of a retaining ring further improves the product's manufacturability by simplifying maintenance and repair, and preventing the part from accidentally falling out.

[0014] The presence of through holes in the rod for the locking pin allows for easy adjustment of the clamping foot's height, allowing the stated jig to be used for spindles of different diameters with quick reconfiguration of the equipment without replacing its parts; the use of standard positions for frequently processed spindle types characterizes this unit with additional enhancement of manufacturability.

[0015] The clamp stand bushing, installed in the through hole of the clamp foot, ensures smooth running and accurate positioning of the foot throughout the entire service life of the frame, also contributing to the increase in the accuracy of the spindle positioning, and also, due to the possibility of replacing the bushing in case of wear, while maintaining the entire structure of the clamping unit, simplifies the repair and maintenance of the declared product.

[0016] Non-metallic guide pads prevent spindle rotation when loosening or tightening nuts, as well as during assembly or disassembly, when the product body needs to be rotated around its axis without damaging it. This design improves the ease and convenience of using the stand when positioning the spindle.

[0017] Metal mounting pads for a measuring stand with a magnetic base provide a rigid, vibration-resistant, and precisely positioned base for the measuring tool. This allows for a significant number of assembly measurement operations directly in the spindle mounting area, simplifying and speeding up work on the workpiece. This design is convenient and safe for the operator.

[0018] Through holes for fixing prisms, made in the base, provide the ability to adjust the required distance between prisms (in particular, every 50 mm, with a prism width of 100 mm) with subsequent rigid fixation of the prisms, eliminating any displacement relative to the base, while making the process of setting up the frame for a batch of identical parts quick and final.

[0019] A through-hole for pre-installation of the spindle in the base eliminates the need to loosen the clamping screw when adjusting the spindle components, facilitating subsequent adjustments by eliminating additional physical strain. Furthermore, without removing the spindle from the jig, it allows you to mount it on the shaft end and adjust the spindle body geometry, front flange radial runout, front flange axial runout (where it attaches to the machine), and rear flange radial runout. This further speeds up work and eliminates the need to move the spindle to the measuring plate.

[0020] The entire structure of the declared frame is designed in such a way as to require a minimum number of machining operations.

[0021] The claimed technical solution is further explained with the help of a figure, which conventionally shows the type of a stand for fastening a spindle.

[0022] The numbers on the figures indicate:

[0023] - prism (1);

[0024] - base (2);

[0025] - longitudinal groove (3);

[0026] - rod (4);

[0027] - pressure foot (5);

[0028] - clamping screw (6);

[0029] - pins (7);

[0030] - pressure heel (8);

[0031] - counter finger (9);

[0032] - bushing (10);

[0033] - non-metallic guide pads (11);

[0034] - metal overlays (12);

[0035] - through holes (13) for fixing prisms (1);

[0036] - through hole (14) for pre-installation of spindle.

[0037] Next, one of the preferred embodiments of the claimed technical solution is described with reference to the figure.

[0038] The spindle mounting stand includes prisms (1) for mounting the spindle. The prisms (1) are mounted on a base (2) and can be moved along it by means of guides formed on the prisms (1), corresponding to longitudinal grooves (3) made in the base (2). The guides in the grooves (3) are pre-fitted tightly, which ensures the alignment of the prisms (1) during axial movement. The height of the prism (1) is also selected to ensure alignment in two planes. This, when clamping the spindle, prevents any internal stress or distortion in the internal components, ensuring assembly accuracy.

[0039] The stand also includes clamping posts, each of which includes a rod (4) rigidly fixed to the corresponding prism (1). A clamping foot (5) is mounted on the rod (4) and is capable of axial rotation above the spindle in a horizontal plane. Each clamping post also includes a clamping screw (6) secured in a through threaded hole of the corresponding clamping foot (5) and is capable of rotation relative to it to press the spindle against the prisms (1).

[0040] Preferably, the clamping screws (6) at the top include protruding pins (7) for transmitting torque.

[0041] Preferably, each clamping screw (6) includes a clamping heel (8) with a pad for contacting with the spindle, fixed in the clamping screw (6) by a locking ring.

[0042] Each rod (4) preferably includes through holes for a locking pin (9) to adjust the position of the pressure foot (5) in height.

[0043] Each pressure post preferably comprises a sleeve (1) (sliding sleeve) installed in a through hole of the pressure foot (5), with a lock washer for rotating the pressure foot (5) and fixing its position relative to the post. The pressure foot (5) rotates in a horizontal plane along the sleeve (10).

[0044] Preferably, the prism (1) includes non-metallic guide pads (11) (in particular made of fluoroplastic) for mounting the spindle and metal pads (12) for mounting the measuring stand with a magnetic base.

[0045] In a preferred embodiment, the base includes through holes (13) for fixing the prisms (1) and a through hole (14) for pre-installing the spindle.

[0046] The base (2) and prisms (1) are preferably made of metal.

[0047] The wall thickness of the clamping heel (8) and the length and diameter of the clamping pins (7) can be made such that it is impossible to overtighten the spindle when clamping it when working by hand or using an open-end wrench.

[0048] This stand can be used to hold spindles of the most common sizes, with diameters ranging from 50 mm to 300 mm, lengths from 50 mm to 700 mm, and weights up to 300 kg. An example of use is provided below.

[0049] The base (2) of the frame is attached to the surface of the employee’s workbench with screws to securely fix the structure.

[0050] Then the prism (1) is moved along the surface of the base (2), and when the required distance between the clamping posts of the prisms (1) is reached, the prism (1) is fixed with power screws with a fastening pitch of five centimeters.

[0051] The spindle is placed on non-metallic guide pads (11). After installation, the spindle is secured using clamping feet (5), which are height-adjustable and have several holes with a locking pin (9).

[0052] The presented figures, description of the design, and use of the spindle mounting jig do not exhaust the possible design variations and do not in any way limit the scope of the claimed technical solution. Other design variations are possible within the scope of the claimed formula.
