Abstract
Claims
OCR06WT1. System (100) for the production of crude palm oil which includes equipment (10) for receiving and feeding mature palm oil raw material to a sterilizer (11) which is configured to utilize steam for sterilization, at the end of the sterilizer (11) a crushing unit (12) to separate the product from the raw material at the end of the crushing unit (12) a shredder unit (13) for shredding the product at the end of the shredder unit (13) a press (14) for extraction. Palm oil is extracted from the crushed fruit at the end of the sorting section for squeezing (14), tanks for oil clarification (15), and at the end of the tanks for water clarification (15), a crude oil separator (17), at the end of the crude oil separator (17), a drying unit (18) such as a vacuum dryer, to produce crude palm oil where the system is further assembled: a POME separator (26) for separating water (A)(A) and solids (B) from the palm oil mill effluent (POME),The steam generator (21) is designed to generate steam (C) from water (A) separated from the palm oil mill (POME) runoff, and a feed arrangement is used to feed the generated steam (C) to the digester (13) and / or the clarification tank (15) which is designed to receive and utilize the generated steam (C), where the system is further integrated with the mill boiler (19) which is designed to generate and deliver the moving steam.
1. The system under claim 1 in which the POME separator (26) is a thermal separator incorporating the evaporator and plant boiler (19) is configured to generate and deliver steam moving to the thermal POME separator (26).
3. The system under claim 1 or 2 in which the steam generator (21) is incorporated with at least one plate heat exchanger,4. Any system under claims 1 through 3 in which the pressure of the generated steam (C) is in the range of 0 bar gauge to 50 bar gauge; 5. Any system under claims 1 through 4 in which the sterilizer (11) is incorporated with an injection device designed to inject the generated steam (C) onto the oily raw material;
