Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to mop heads in cleaning products, and in particular, to an electric mop head.BACKGROUND

[0002] At present, an electric mop head is mainly configured to sweep dust and hair on the ground. A structure of the electric mop head includes a base, a housing snap-fitted to the base, a dusting brush mounted between the base and the housing, a motor for driving the dusting brush, a battery for supplying power to the motor, and the like. The dusting brush is exposed from a bottom surface of the base. The housing is provided with a hinge base for hinging a mop handle and a detachable dust box. A front part of the dust box is provided with a dust inlet in communication with the dusting brush. During operation, the motor powered by the battery drives the dusting brush to roll, and the dust and hair on the ground where the electric mop head passes can be swept into the dust box through the dust inlet. Therefore, the whole sweeping process is quite easy and labor-saving. However, the components such as the motor, the battery, and the hinge base of the foregoing electric mop head still have design defects in position layout. Specifically, influence of mounting positions of the components such as the motor, the battery, and the hinge base on the position of the overall center of gravity of the electric mop head is neglected, so that the overall center of gravity of the electric mop head deviates from the central axis of the electric mop head. When the electric mop head is brought into a suspended state as a result of lifting the mop handle, the electric mop head cannot be maintained in a stable state and sways when the electric mop head is transferred in the suspended state, and cannot be maintained in a position in which the electric mop head is tilted about the hinge base such that a rear end is lower than a front end. In other words, the electric mop head may be in a state of tilting forward as a whole. Obviously, these situations may cause the dust and hair in the dust box to accidentally fall out of the dust inlet, which may cause great trouble to the user. In addition, the motor and the battery are only closed in the base through the housing. Therefore, the overall sealing performance is poor. In actual use, if water exists on the ground and is lifted up by the rolling dusting brush, the water may accidentally enter the mop head and cause damage to the motor or the battery, thereby affecting a service life of the electric mop head.SUMMARY

[0003] The technical problem to be resolved by the present invention is to overcome defects of the prior art and provide an electric mop head which is not prone to swaying and tilting forward and has better sealing performance of the overall structure when the electric mop head is transferred in a suspended state as a result of lifting a mop handle.

[0004] The technical problem of the present invention is achieved through the following technical solutions.

[0005] An electric mop head includes a base and a housing snap-fitted to the base. A dusting brush, a motor for driving the dusting brush, and a battery for supplying power to the motor are mounted between the base and the housing. The dusting brush is exposed from a bottom surface of the base. The housing is provided with a hinge base for hinging a mop handle and a detachable dust box. A front part of the dust box is provided with a dust inlet in communication with the dusting brush. The hinge base on the housing is arranged on a central axis of the electric mop head. The motor is arranged in front of the battery, and centers of gravity of the motor and the battery are both arranged on a same axis. The axis and the central axis of the electric mop head are parallel to each other and on a same vertical plane. The battery is located on a rear side of the hinge base and drives the overall center of gravity of the electric mop head to move backward, and the overall center of gravity of the electric mop head is also on the central axis.

[0006] The electric mop head is brought into a suspended state as a result of lifting the mop handle. The battery drives the overall center of gravity of the electric mop head to move backward and be lowered, and causes the dust inlet on the front part of the dust box to tilt upward.

[0007] The motor drives a pair of dusting brushes to synchronously roll, and the pair of dusting brushes are arranged symmetrically with respect to the central axis.

[0008] The housing is provided with two detachable dust boxes. The two dust boxes are arranged symmetrically with respect to the central axis.

[0009] The motor and the battery are embedded and fixed in a mounting groove of the base, and are hermetically sealed through an inner cover on the mounting groove through snap fit connection.

[0010] A sealing ring is arranged between the inner cover and the mounting groove to form a hermetic seal.

[0011] A rear part of the housing is provided with a switch for turning on / off the motor, and the switch is located on the central axis.

[0012] Each dust box is provided with a button for detaching the dust box.

[0013] The bottom surface of the base is provided with a mop, and the mop is located on a rear side of the dusting brush.

[0014] The battery is a dry battery, a lithium battery, or a nickel-hydrogen battery.

[0015] Compared with the prior art, according to the present invention, the hinge base on the housing is mainly arranged on the central axis of the electric mop head, the motor is arranged in front of the battery on the same axis, the axis and the central axis of the electric mop head are parallel to each other and located on the same vertical plane, and the battery needs to be located on the rear side of the hinge base. In this way, the battery can drive the overall center of gravity of the electric mop head to move backward, and cause the overall center of gravity of the electric mop head to be also on the central axis. Therefore, when the electric mop head is brought into a suspended state as a result of lifting the mop handle, the electric mop head is not only maintained in a stable state without swaying or otherwise even when the electric mop head is transferred in the suspended state, but also maintained in a position in which the electric mop head is tilted about the hinge base such that a rear end is lower than a front end. In other words, the electric mop head is in a state of tilting backward as a whole, so that the dust inlet on the front part of the dust box is also tilted upward. Apparently, these situations can better prevent the dust and hair in the dust box from accidentally falling from the dust inlet, and bring great convenience to the user. In addition, the motor and the battery are both embedded and fixed in the mounting groove of the base, and are hermetically sealed through the inner cover on the mounting groove through snap fit connection. Therefore, hermetic sealing is performed by adding the inner cover, which further improves the sealing performance of the whole structure of the electric mop head, and reduces the damage to the motor or the battery caused by accidental water inflow, thereby avoiding affecting the service life of the electric mop head.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0022] Embodiments of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the above accompanying drawings.

[0023] As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 6, 1. Base, 11. Mop, 2. Housing, 21. Hinge base, 22. Switch, 3. Dust box, 31. Button, 32. Dust inlet, 4. Motor, 5. Battery, 6. Dusting brush, 7. Inner cover, 8. Caulking groove.

[0024] As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, an electric mop head is an electric sweeping appliance that may be configured to sweep dust and hair on the ground. A structure of the electric mop head includes a base 1 and a housing 2 snap-fitted to the base. A dusting brush 6, a motor 4 for driving the dusting brush, and a battery 5 for supplying power to the motor are mounted between the base and the housing. The housing 2 is further provided with a hinge base 21 for hinging a mop handle and a detachable dust box 3.

[0025] A position of the hinge base 21 on the housing 2 is just on a central axis of the electric mop head. The central axis refers to an axis extending from a center of the electric mop head in front and back directions. Two detachable dust boxes 3 are arranged on the housing 2. The two dust boxes 3 are arranged symmetrically with respect to the central axis, that is, symmetrically arranged on two sides of the central axis. A front part of each dust box 3 is provided with a dust inlet 32 in communication with the dusting brush 6, so as to sweep the dust and hair on the ground where the electric mop head passes into the dust box 3 through the dust inlet 32 when the dusting brush 6 rolls. Each dust box 3 is provided with a button 31 for detaching the dust box, so as to facilitate independent detaching and mounting of each dust box 3.

[0026] The motor 4 and the battery 5 are embedded and fixed in a mounting groove of the base 1, and are hermetically sealed through an inner cover 7 on the mounting groove through snap fit connection, in which case a sealing ring further needs to be arranged between the inner cover 7 and the mounting groove to form a hermetically sealed structure. Specifically, the sealing ring is embedded in a caulking groove 8 between the inner cover and the mounting groove. Therefore, the motor 4 and the battery 5 are hermetically sealed by adding the inner cover 7, which not only enhances waterproof performance of the motor 4 and the battery 5, but also further improves sealing performance of the overall structure of the electric mop head, and reduces damage to the motor 4 or the battery 5 caused by accidental water inflow during operation of the electric mop head, thereby avoiding affecting a service life of the electric mop head.

[0027] In addition, the motor 4 and the battery 5 are designed such that the motor is arranged in front of the battery. Centers of gravity of the motor and the battery are both arranged on a same axis, and the axis and the central axis of the electric mop head are parallel to each other and on a same vertical plane.

[0028] Furthermore, the battery 5 is located on a rear side of the hinge base 21, and therefore can drive the overall center of gravity of the electric mop head to move backward, and the overall center of gravity of the electric mop head is also on the central axis. In other words, such a position design of the battery 5 not only can ensure that the overall center of gravity of the electric mop head is moved backward, but also can ensure that the overall center of gravity is also on the central axis of the electric mop head.

[0029] The battery 5 is selected from a dry battery, a lithium battery, or a nickel-hydrogen battery. In terms of a power supply mode of the battery, a disposable battery or a rechargeable battery may be selected.

[0030] In addition, the motor 4 drives a pair of dusting brushes 6 to roll synchronously. The pair of dusting brushes are symmetrically arranged with respect to the central axis, that is, symmetrically arranged on two sides of the central axis. The pair of dusting brushes 6 are exposed from a bottom surface of the base 1 to facilitate rolling cleaning of the ground. A mop 11 is further arranged on the bottom surface of the base 1. The mop is located on a rear side of each of the dusting brushes 6 to assist cleaning. A switch 22 for turning on / off the motor 4 is further arranged on the rear part of the housing 2. The switch is also located on the central axis.

[0031] In this way, when the electric mop head is brought into a suspended state as a result of lifting the mop handle (in other words, the electric mop head is brought into the suspended state by the hinge base 21), the electric mop head is not only maintained always in a stable state without swaying or otherwise even when the electric mop head is transferred in the suspended state, but also maintained in a position in which the electric mop head is tilted about the hinge base 21 such that a rear end is lower than a front end. In other words, the electric mop head is in a state of tilting backward as a whole, so that the dust inlet 32 on the front part of the dust box 3 is also tilted upward.

[0032] Apparently, these situations can better prevent the dust and hair in the dust box 3 from accidentally falling from the dust inlet, and bring great convenience to the user.

[0033] The above descriptions are only specific embodiments of the present invention. A person skilled in the art should understand that any structural design equivalent to this embodiment shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
