The telescopic roof platform comprises: a first joist retainer, for engaging with a first joist; a second joist retainer, for engaging with a second joist that is adjacent to the first joist; and at least one platform coupled to the first and second joist retainers, for supporting a person between the first and second joists. The first joist retainer is slidable relative to second joist retainer to adjust a spacing between the first and second joist retainers to accommodate different joist spacings.
