Abstract
Description
Fabric processing device using foam
[0001] The present invention relates to a fabric processing device using foam, and more particularly, to a fabric processing device that discharges a foam solution into a receiving space of a drum that stirs fabric, thereby minimizing the amount of water used in various processes for processing fabrics such as bleaching, dyeing, and washing, thereby reducing costs associated with water use and wastewater treatment and preventing environmental pollution caused by wastewater.
[0002]
[0003] Typically, various fabric processing processes such as bleaching, dyeing, and washing are performed to produce clothing in various colors to suit the diverse tastes and preferences of consumers.
[0004] Among these, the washing process performed to lighten the color of denim fabric or to form a pattern with partial color difference can usually go through the following process.
[0005] Figure 1 is a flowchart illustrating a conventional denim fabric washing processing process sequence.
[0006] Taking Fig. 1 as an example, the conventional denim fabric washing process sequence can be examined. First, a desizing process using a desizing agent can be performed (S1). As a specific example, when washing a 60 kg denim fabric, the desizing process is performed at a temperature of 60°C for approximately 20 minutes, and starch and other substances can be removed from the denim fabric through the desizing process. During this process, 600 liters of water are used, and after the desizing process, another 600 liters of water can be used in the washing process (S2).
[0007] Next, a stone-enzyme process can be performed (S3). As a specific example, when washing a 60 kg denim fabric, the stone-enzyme process is performed at 40°C for approximately 35 minutes, using a pumice stone in the presence of an enzyme, such as acid enzyme, along with 600 liters of water to impart a worn-out appearance and soften or transform the fabric, especially denim, into an aesthetically pleasing appearance. 600 liters of water are used in this process, and another 600 liters of water may be used in the rinsing process following the stone-enzyme combination washing process (S4). At this time, the stone-enzyme combination washing process can be performed separately, with a stone-washing process using stones and an enzyme process using enzymes. The stone process can increase the degree of fading of denim fabric and provide a special effect of enhancing other parts, such as seams or hems, while the enzyme process is helpful in terms of bio-polishing and can fade the dye color of designed cotton fabrics, such as denim fabrics, overall, so that the color can be adjusted to a certain degree depending on the process time and conditions.
[0008] Next, a decolorization process using a bleaching agent such as sodium hypochlorite, potassium hypochlorite, or hydrogen peroxide can be performed (S5). As a specific example, when washing a 60 kg denim fabric, the decolorization process is performed at a temperature of 70°C for approximately 5 minutes, and the color of the denim fabric can be softened through the decolorization process. This process uses 600 liters of water, and after the decolorization process, another 600 liters of water can be used in the washing process (S6).
[0009] Next, a neutralization process may be performed (S7). The neutralization process neutralizes denim fabric that has been acidified or alkalized in the previous process. As a specific example, when neutralizing a 60 kg denim fabric, 600 liters of water is used for approximately 8 minutes, and then a washing process may be performed using 600 liters of water (S8).
[0010] Finally, a washing process can be performed to remove the chemicals used in the above process from the denim fabric, and 1200 liters of water can be used in the process of washing and rinsing a denim fabric weighing 60 kg (S9).
[0011] The processes described above for washing denim fabrics are merely examples. Some of the processes described above may be omitted or additional processes may be added. Regardless, the denim washing process uses and wastes a vast amount of water. This massive water use raises costs due to water and wastewater treatment costs, and the vast amount of wastewater also poses environmental pollution problems.

[0049]
[0050] The fabric processing device according to the present invention will be examined in more detail with reference to the attached drawings below.
[0051]
[0052] FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating a fabric processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating a closed door of a fabric processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating an example of the arrangement of a discharge unit according to one embodiment of the present invention. In addition, FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing process using foam being performed in a fabric processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0053] A fabric processing device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention can use a foam solution created by converting a chemical mixture solution into a foam form in various processes to minimize the amount of water used in various processes for processing fabrics, such as bleaching, dyeing, and washing.
[0054] To this end, the fabric processing device (10) according to the present embodiment may include a drum unit (100) that receives fabric and a foam generating unit (300) that supplies foam solution to the drum unit (100).
[0055] Here, the foam solution may refer to a solution having microbubbles formed of particles of 50 μm or less, and the foam solution according to the present embodiment has bubbles having particles of 50 μm or less in size, and the foam solution may also include ultra-fine bubbles having particles of 5 μm or less. At this time, the microbubbles have sterilization, cleaning, deodorization, and heat transfer characteristics, and are very advantageous for absorption or material transfer because they have a very large specific surface area. Therefore, the foam solution may have a higher absorption rate for fabrics than general solutions.
[0056] The drum unit (100) may be placed in a body housing (11) constituting the body of a fabric processing device (10). The drum unit (100) may be placed inside the body housing (11) and may have a receiving space (S) capable of receiving fabric. In addition, the drum unit (100) may be driven to rotate so as to agitate the fabric received in the receiving space (s). Accordingly, by adding various chemicals while the fabric is received in the receiving space (s) of the drum unit and driving the drum unit (100) to rotate, various processes for fabric processing, such as a desizing process, an enzyme process, a decolorization process, a neutralization process, and a washing process, may be performed. At this time, an opening may be formed on one side of the front of the body housing (11) so that the receiving space (S) of the drum unit communicates with the outside, and a door (13) configured to be openable and closable may be placed in the opening.
[0057] The foam generating unit (300) converts a drug mixture solution into a foam form to generate a foam solution, and can supply the generated foam solution to the receiving space (S) of the drum unit. Here, converting a drug mixture solution into a foam form means generating a large number of small bubbles in the solution, and the foam solution may mean a solution containing a large number of small bubbles.
[0058] The foam generating unit (300) can be connected to the receiving space (S) of the drum unit through a separate foam supply pipe (310) to supply the generated foam solution to the receiving space (S).
[0059] For example, the foam supply pipe (310) can be connected to a through hole (13a) formed through the door (13) as shown in the examples in FIGS. 2 and 3, and supply the foam solution to the receiving space (S) through the through hole (13a).
[0060] As another example, a discharge unit (200) that operates to discharge a foam solution is disposed on one inner wall of the receiving space (S) of the drum unit, as in the example illustrated in FIG. 4, and a foam supply pipe (310) is connected to the discharge unit (200) so that the foam solution can be supplied to the receiving space (S) through the discharge unit (200).
[0061] Accordingly, the fabric processing device (10) according to the present embodiment can perform various processes for fabric processing, such as a desizing process, an enzyme process, a decolorization process, a neutralization process, and a washing process, by using a foam-type agent (f) as shown in the example of FIG. 5 instead of a liquid agent or powder-type agent used in a conventional process. In this way, the fabric processing device (10) according to the present embodiment performs various processes for processing, such as decolorization, dyeing, and washing of fabric, by adding a foam-type agent instead of an aqueous agent solution used in a conventional processing device, and thus can minimize the amount of water used in each process, thereby reducing costs for water use and wastewater treatment and preventing environmental pollution caused by wastewater.
[0062] FIG. 6 is a conceptual diagram illustrating a form generating unit according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0063] Hereinafter, the form generation unit (300) will be described in more detail with reference to FIG. 6.
[0064] The foam generating unit (300) may be configured to include a foam generating unit (320) for generating a foam solution to generate a foam solution and supply it to the drum unit (100) as described above, a solution supply unit (330) for supplying a solution in which a drug and a surfactant are mixed, and an air supply unit (340) for supplying air.
[0065] The foam generating unit (320) can generate a foam solution by receiving a solution containing a mixture of a drug and a surfactant and air. The foam generating unit (320) will be examined in more detail after the description of the solution supply unit (330) and the air supply unit (340).
[0066] The solution supply unit (330) may include a plurality of tanks (331) for containing a drug solution or a surfactant solution, a drug supply pipe (332) connected to the tanks (331), a metering pump (333) that operates to supply the solution contained in the plurality of tanks (331) to a foam generation pipe (321), and a solution supply pipe (334) that connects between the metering pump (333) and the foam generation unit (320).
[0067] Each of the plurality of tanks (331) can accommodate a type of drug solution (aqueous drug solution) or surfactant solution. Here, the drug may be selected and used from various types of desizing agents, enzymes, decolorants, bleaches, dyes, neutralizers, etc. depending on the purpose for which the fabric processing device according to the present embodiment is used.
[0068] Each tank (331) is connected to a metering pump (333) through a solution supply pipe (334). One or more drug and surfactant solutions can be supplied to the metering pump (333), and at this time, the types of drugs supplied can be selected according to the process performed in the drum unit (100). The supplied drug solution and surfactant solution can be supplied to the foam generating unit (320) in a mixed state in the metering pump (333). At this time, a solution supply pipe (334) is connected between the metering pump (333) and the foam generating unit (320), and the metering pump (333) can operate to supply the mixed solution to the foam generating unit (320) through the solution supply pipe (334) at a set flow rate per unit time.
[0069] In addition, the solution supply unit (330) is additionally provided with a valve (not shown) that operates to block the flow of the solution, and the valve can be placed in each of the drug supply pipe (332) and the solution supply pipe (334).
[0070] The air supply unit (340) may be equipped with an air tank (341) that receives air and an air supply pipe (342) that connects the air tank (341) and the foam generation unit (320) to supply air from the air tank to the foam generation unit (320). At this time, the air supply pipe (342) may be separately equipped with an air pump (not shown) that generates a flow from the air tank (341) toward the foam generation unit (320) so that a set flow rate of air per unit time is supplied to the foam generation unit (320).
[0071] In addition, the air supply unit (340) is additionally provided with a valve (not shown) that operates to block the flow of air, and the valve can be placed in the air supply pipe (342).
[0072] Preferably, the air supply unit (340) may be equipped with a separate ozone tank (not shown) that accommodates ozone (O3) gas, and the ozone tank may be connected to the foam generation unit (320) through a separate ozone supply pipe. In addition, the ozone supply pipe may be equipped with a separate pump so that ozone at a set flow rate per unit time may be supplied to the foam generation unit (320). Accordingly, the foam solution generated in the foam generation unit (320) may include ozone, and thus the decolorization effect of the foam solution may be improved.
[0073] The foam generating unit (320) may be configured to include a foam generating pipe (321) that forms a foam generating path, a detachable pipe (322) that is detachably connected to the foam generating pipe (321) downstream of the foam generating pipe (321), and a porous filter (323).
[0074] The foam generating pipe (321) has a hollow path to form a foam generating path, has a predetermined length, and can be arranged in a direction perpendicular to the ground.
[0075] A solution supply pipe (334) and an air supply pipe (342) may be connected to the lower end, which is the upstream side of the foam generation pipe (321). Accordingly, the foam generation pipe (321) may be supplied with a mixed solution of a drug and a surfactant and air from the upstream side of the foam generation path, and as the mixed solution and air are supplied together, a bubble solution having bubbles may be generated from the upstream side of the foam generation path. At this time, the bubble solution has bubbles having a relatively larger average size than the foam solution. For the convenience of explanation, the bubble solution will hereinafter refer to a solution having relatively large bubbles, and the foam solution will refer to a solution having relatively small bubbles.
[0076] The porous filter (323) has numerous small pores and can be arranged to block the foam generation path. Specifically, one or more porous filters (323) can be arranged in a stacked manner downstream of the foam generation path. At this time, the number of porous filters (323) can be determined in consideration of the amount of foam to be generated, the size of bubbles contained in the foam, etc. In other words, when it is desired to generate a foam solution having more bubbles of smaller sizes, the number of porous filters (323) can be increased.
[0077] The bubble solution upstream of the foam generating channel flows in the downstream direction and passes through the porous filter (323). In this way, the bubble solution is subjected to a predetermined high pressure in the process of passing through the porous filter (323), and also rubs against the porous filter (323), so that the size of the bubbles may be reduced. In other words, the bubble solution may be converted into a foam solution in the process of passing through the porous filter (323). In addition, the foam solution converted and generated upstream of the foam generating channel may be supplied to the receiving space of the drum unit through the attachment / detachment pipe (322), the foam supply pipe (310), etc.
[0078] At this time, the foam generating unit (320) may be equipped with a separate pump (not shown) to generate a flow for supplying the generated foam solution to the receiving space, but the foam solution may also be supplied to the receiving space through a flow generated by the solution supply unit (330) and the air supply unit (340) without a separate pump.
[0079] Meanwhile, the detachable tube (322) can be detachably connected to the upper end of the foam generating tube (321), and the detachable method can be implemented in various ways such as screw or bolt connection. The porous filter (323) can be easily placed or removed inside the foam generating tube (321) by attaching or detaching the detachable tube (322) to the foam generating tube (321).
[0080] Although not illustrated in the drawing, the fabric processing device according to the present embodiment may be equipped with a nanobubble generation unit (not illustrated). The nanobubble generation unit may receive water from a separate water tank and generate nanobubbles in the supplied water to produce nanobubble water containing nanobubbles. The nanobubble generation unit may receive water from the water tank through a water supply pipe equipped with a pump and a valve.
[0081] The nano-bubble generation unit may be configured such that multiple gear-shaped blades of different sizes are arranged in multiple stages, connected to a motor shaft, and rotated about 3,600 times per minute, and can generate nano-bubbles by instantaneously mixing water and gas through high-speed rotation to generate cavitation. The nano-bubble water generated through this process can be supplied to the foam generation unit (300). To this end, the nano-bubble generation unit may be provided with a separate nano-bubble water supply pipe equipped with a pump and a valve, and the nano-bubble water can be supplied to the foam generation unit (300) through the nano-bubble water supply pipe. Preferably, the nano-bubble water supply pipe may have a separate flow path that is also connected to the drum unit (100), through which the nano-bubble water can be supplied to the receiving space of the drum unit (100).
[0082] Here, nanobubbles refer to ultra-fine bubbles formed from particles of 5 μm or less, and the nanobubble generation unit according to the present embodiment can generate bubbles having particles of 50 μm or less in size, and the bubbles generated by the nanobubble generation unit can include ultra-fine bubbles having particles of 5 μm or less.
[0083] Nanobubbles possess sterilizing, cleansing, deodorizing, and heat transfer properties, and their extremely large surface area makes them highly advantageous for absorption and material transfer. Therefore, foam solutions produced using nanobubble water can exhibit higher fabric absorption rates than foam solutions produced using regular water.
[0084]
[0085] FIG. 7 is a functional block diagram of a fabric processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating an example of a process sequence according to time according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0086] The fabric processing device according to the present embodiment may be equipped with an input unit (500) that can be input-operated by a user, and a control unit (700) that controls the operation of a solution supply unit (330), an air supply unit (340), a drum unit (100), and a discharge unit (200) based on input information generated by the input unit (500).
[0087] The input unit (500) is configured to allow input manipulation by the user, and can generate input information according to the user's input manipulation. At this time, the generated input information may include process selection information and process time information for the selected process. That is, the user can select a process to be performed for processing the fabric through the input unit (500) and input the time required for each process. Here, the time required for each process may be input by dividing it into a supply operation time in which the foam solution is generated and supplied in each process and the drum unit (100) is stirred and driven, and a single operation time in which only the drum unit (100) is stirred and driven without supplying the foam solution.
[0088] The control unit (700) can control the operation of at least one of the solution supply unit (330), the air supply unit (340), the drum unit (100), and the discharge unit (200) so that at least one process among the sizing process, the enzyme process, the decolorization process, the neutralization process, and the washing process is performed based on the input information provided from the input unit (500).
[0089] For example, when the control unit (700) receives input information including selection information for a desizing process, the control unit (700) can control the operation of the drug solution supply unit (330) so that the desizing agent solution and the surfactant solution are supplied to the foam generation tube (321) during the supply drive time of the desizing process time included in the input information, so that the foam solution is generated in the foam generation tube (321) and the generated foam solution is supplied to the receiving space of the drum unit. In addition, the control unit (700) can control the drum unit (100) to be rotated during the desizing process time included in the input information (the sum of the supply drive time and the single drive time), and control the discharge unit (200) to be driven so that the foam-type desizing agent is supplied to the receiving space of the drum unit (100) for a set time (the discharge drive time) together with the rotation drive of the drum unit (100), thereby allowing the desizing process using the foam solution to be performed.
[0090] In addition, if input information including selection information for any one of the enzyme process, the decolorization process, and the neutralization process is provided, the control unit (700) controls each process to be performed through a process similar to the desizing process, but if input information including selection information for the enzyme process is provided, the control unit (700) can drive and control the drug solution supply unit (330) so that an enzyme solution is supplied to the foam generation tube (321) instead of a desizing agent solution, and if input information including selection information for the decolorization process is provided, the control unit (330) can drive and control the drug solution supply unit (330) so that a decolorizing agent solution is supplied to the foam generation tube (321) instead of a desizing agent solution, and if input information including selection information for the neutralization process is provided, the control unit (330) can drive and control the drug solution supply unit (330) so that a neutralizing agent solution is supplied to the foam generation tube (321) instead of a desizing agent solution.
[0091] Meanwhile, when the control unit (700) receives input information including selection information for the washing process, it can control the nano-bubble generation unit to be driven so that nano-bubble water is supplied to the receiving space of the drum unit (100), and control the drum unit (100) to be rotated during the washing process time included in the input information (the sum of the nano-bubble water supply time and the single driving time).
[0092]
[0093] FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating an example of a process sequence over time according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0094] As described above, the input unit (500) generates input information including process selection information and process time information for the selected process according to the user's input operation, and the control unit (700) can drive and control at least one of the nanobubble generation unit, the solution supply unit (330), the air supply unit (340), the drum unit (100), and the discharge unit (200) so that at least one process among the desizing process, the enzyme process, the decolorization process, the neutralization process, and the washing process is performed based on the input information provided from the input unit (500).
[0095] At this time, the input unit (500) can input multiple processes together for selection, and individual process times for multiple processes can be input. If the input information includes multiple process selection information, the control unit (700) can drive and control each unit so that the desizing process, enzyme process, decolorization process, neutralization process, and washing process are sequentially performed, as shown in FIG. 8. For example, if the input information includes process selection information for the desizing process, enzyme fixation, neutralization process, and washing process, the control unit (700) can drive and control each unit so that the desizing process, enzyme process, neutralization process, and washing process are sequentially performed.
[0096] Preferably, if the input information provided includes a plurality of process selection information and includes process time information for some of the selected processes but does not include process time information for the remaining processes, the control unit (700) may generate process time information for the remaining processes based on the process time information for some of the processes. In this case, the control unit (700) may generate process time information for the remaining processes based on a preset process time ratio between the processes.
[0097] To explain with a specific example, if the process time ratio between the desizing process and the decoloring process is 4:1, and the input information generated through the input unit (500) includes process selection information for the desizing process and the decoloring process, and the process time information for the desizing process is 20 minutes but the process time information for the decoloring process is not included, the control unit (700) can generate the process time information for the decoloring process as 5 minutes. As another example, if other conditions are the same but the desizing process time information is 40 minutes, the control unit (700) can generate the fixed time information for the decoloring process as 10 minutes.

[0099] Fig. 9 is a drawing showing an exploded view of a foam generating unit according to one embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 10 is a drawing showing an assembled view of a foam generating unit according to one embodiment of the present invention. And Fig. 11 is a drawing showing a stopper plate according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0100] As described above, the porous filter (323) is placed in the foam generation path formed by the foam generation pipe (321), and when the upper end of the foam generation pipe (321) is opened through the attachment / detachment pipe (322), it can be inserted into the foam generation path or removed from the foam generation path through the opened upper end.
[0101] At this time, the foam generation path may further include a filter stopper portion (350) that restricts the downstream movement of the porous filter (323), and a filter pressurizing portion (360) that pressurizes the porous filter in the downstream direction (upward direction in the drawing) in the foam generation path. In this way, the porous filter (323) is pressed in the downstream direction by the filter pressurizing portion (360), and the downstream movement is restricted by the filter stopper portion (350), so that the arrangement position on the foam generation path can be fixed regardless of the number of arrangements on the foam generation path.
[0102] Specifically, referring to FIG. 9, the filter pressurizing unit (360) may include a fixed plate (361) fixedly positioned within the foam generation path, a movable plate (362) movably positioned along the foam generation path on the downstream side of the fixed plate (i.e., the upper side based on the drawing) of the foam generation path, and an elastic member (363) connecting the fixed plate (361) and the movable plate (362) so that an elastic restoring force acts on the movable plate (362) in the downstream direction of the foam generation path.
[0103] In addition, the filter stopper part (350) is fixed to the detachable tube (322), and when the detachable tube (322) is coupled to the foam generating tube (321), a stopper plate (351) may be inserted and positioned inside the foam generating path to limit the downstream movement of the porous filter (323). At this time, the stopper plate (351) may be positioned to protrude away from the end of the detachable tube (322) as illustrated in FIG. 9.
[0104] Referring to FIGS. 9 and 10, in a state where the attachment / detachment tube (322) is released from the foam generation tube (321), the porous filter (323) can be inserted into the foam generation path through the downstream end (upper end in the drawing) of the foam generation tube (321). In this way, when the attachment / detachment tube (322) is attached to the downstream end of the foam generation tube (321) in a state where the porous filter (323) is inserted into the foam generation path, the stopper plate (351) fixed to the attachment / detachment tube (322) is inserted into the foam generation path during the attachment process of the attachment / detachment tube (322) and pressurizes the porous filter (323) in the upstream direction of the path. When the porous filter (323) is pressurized in the upstream direction of the flow path, the moving plate (362) supporting the porous filter (323) is also pressurized and moves in the upstream direction of the flow path, and the elastic member (362) can be compressed between the moving plate (362) and the fixed plate (361). In this state, the porous filter (323) in the foam generating flow path is pressurized in the downstream direction by the elastic restoring force of the compressed elastic member (362) in the upstream direction, but can be supported by the fixed stopper plate (351) in the downstream direction, so that movement toward the downstream side can be restricted.
[0105] Referring to FIG. 11, the stopper plate (351) may be provided with a ring-shaped peripheral frame (351a) and a plurality of connecting frames (351b) connecting one side and the other side of the peripheral frame (351a). Accordingly, the stopper plate (351) forms at least one penetration area (a), and even if the stopper plate (351) blocks the foam generation path by this penetration area (a), the flow of liquid flowing through the foam generation path may not be blocked. In addition, the moving plate (362) and the filter stopper part (350) may also be configured with a peripheral frame and a connecting frame like the stopper plate (351) and may have a penetration area.

[0107] FIG. 12 is a drawing illustrating an expandable member according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 13 (a) and (b) are drawings illustrating an expandable member according to one embodiment of the present invention in a reduced or expanded state.
[0108] A fabric processing device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention may be equipped with an expansion member (900) disposed in the internal space of a drum unit.
[0109] The expandable member (900) has a body made of an elastic material such as rubber so that its volume can change, and can be driven to introduce fluid into the internal space formed by the body or to discharge fluid from the internal space, thereby changing the volume of the body. At this time, the expandable member (900) can be fixedly arranged on one side of the inner wall forming the receiving space (s) of the drum unit, and the introduction and discharge of fluid into and out of the body of the expandable member (900) can be driven and controlled by the control unit (700). In addition, one or more protrusions (910) can be arranged on the outer surface of the body of the expandable member (900).
[0110] The control unit (700) can control the expansion member (900) to not expand but maintain a contracted state during the discharge driving time of each process, as shown in (a) of FIG. 13, and when the discharge driving time ends, control the expansion member (900) to be driven so that the body of the expansion member (900) expands during a single driving time, as shown in (b) of FIG. 13. At this time, the control unit (700) can control the expansion member (900) to be driven so that the body of the expansion member (900) repeats expansion and contraction during the single driving time. In addition, the control unit (700) can control the expansion member (900) to be driven so that the body of the expansion member (900) contracts when the single driving time ends.
[0111] When the drum unit (100) is driven in this manner while the expandable member (900) is expanded, the fabric accommodated in the receiving space (S) may be interposed between the surface of the expandable member (900) and the inner wall forming the receiving space (S), thereby applying greater frictional force. This frictional force may accelerate the absorption of the foam solution (f) into the fabric or assist in processing the fabric, such as washing. In addition, the protrusions (910) of the expandable member may further increase this frictional force.
