[0001] CHECK VALVE WITH AN INTEGRATED DISCHARGE PATH AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0003] The invention relates to a check valve with an integrated discharge path and the production method thereof for the installations using check valves, closed systems and particularly air-pressurized foreskin restoration devices.
[0004] STATE OF THE ART
[0005] The fluids exist in different states. The liquids and gases are the most familiar forms of fluids. Water and air are examples of these. A check valve is an installation element that allows fluids to flow in one direction and prevents them from flowing in the opposite direction. The direction in which the check valve allows flow is called the check valve flow direction. When the fluid moves in the check valve flow direction, it can pass through the check valve easily. However, when the fluid starts to flow in the opposite direction for any reason, the check valve prevents this and stops the flow. Therefore, the flow in the line in which the check valve is located is only in the check valve flow direction. Therefore, the check valve flow direction and the flow direction of the line in which the check valve is located are the same.
[0006] The ability of the check valves to prevent reverse flow is made possible by their resistance to the fluid trying to flow in the opposite direction. For this reason, for the check valve to work successfully, it must resist the pressure that the fluid will apply to the check valve in case of reverse flow. Therefore, the check valves must be of appropriate power according to the installation or system in which they are used.
[0007] The check valves are widely used in the installations. The check valves are needed in installations in many different areas. For this reason, the check valves require different additional functions depending on the area in which they are used. Therefore, there are different types of check valves with different functions that offer solutions for different needs. The check valves with the discharge paths are one of these types. For various reasons, it is necessary to discharge the fluid through the check valve. The check valves with the discharge paths are used to discharge the fluid through the check valve when necessary. The check valves with the discharge paths are check valves with an opening that can be opened and closed. This opening, which can be opened and closed, is called the discharge path. The discharge path is opened if necessary so that the fluid can be discharged. The check valves with the discharge paths are divided into two types due to the position of the discharge path relative to the check valve:
[0008] • Those in which the discharge path is arranged upstream of the check valve relative to the check valve flow direction
[0009] • Those in which the discharge path is arranged downstream of the check valve relative to the check valve flow direction
[0010] Both check valve embodiments with the discharge paths, which differ in terms of the position of the discharge path relative to the check valve, are used for different purposes. This is because there are functional differences between the two embodiments. An example of these functional differences is whether or not the pressure exerted by the fluid against the check valve reaches the discharge path when the flow stops. When the discharge path is arranged upstream of the check valve relative to the check valve flow direction, said pressure does not reach the discharge path. When the discharge path is arranged downstream of the check valve relative to the check valve flow direction, said pressure reaches the discharge path. As a result, two functionally different embodiments of the check valves with the discharge path emerge.
[0011] The embodiment, in which the discharge path is arranged upstream of the check valve relative to the check valve flow direction, is used to reduce or increase the flow rate through the check valve, to reduce or increase the flow rate, and to reduce or increase the pressure exerted by the fluid on the objects that prevent it from flowing. In this embodiment, when the discharge path is opened during the flow, some amount of fluid is continuously discharged to the outside according to the size of the discharge path. Thus, the flow rate and speed of the fluid passing through the check valve decreases. At the same time, the pressure exerted by the fluid on the objects that prevent it from flowing is reduced. When the discharge path is closed, the flow out of the discharge path stops. Thus, the flow rate and speed of the fluid passing through the check valve increases. At the same time, the pressure exerted by the fluid on the objects that prevent it from flowing is increased.
[0012] The embodiment in which the discharge path is arranged downstream of the check valve relative to the flow direction of the check valve is used in more specific areas, such as systems in which pressure is stored using the check valve’s ability to prevent reverse flow and in which the pressure is to be released when required. This is because in this embodiment the discharge path interacts with the check valve to prevent reverse flow. In this embodiment, when the flow stops, the pressure applied by the fluid in the opposite direction to the check valve reaches the discharge path. Therefore, in this embodiment, the discharge path has the power to influence the pressure exerted by the fluid against the check valve. In this embodiment, when the discharge path is opened, the fluid that exerts pressure on the check valve exits out of the discharge path and the pressure to which the check valve is exposed is reduced. This reduces the load on the check valve. In the case of a closed system, the fluid outflow through the discharge path continues until the system pressure and atmospheric pressure are balanced and finally the pressure in the system is relieved. Therefore, this embodiment is characterized by its ability to relieve pressure. For this reason, this embodiment is called a pressure relief check valve.
[0013] The pressure relief check valves is used in the systems in which the pressure is to be stored for a certain period of time and relieved if necessary. In the pressure relief check valves, the check valve prevents reverse flow out of the system and thus stores the pressure. If the pressure needs to be relieved, the discharge path downstream of the check valve is opened relative to the flow direction and thus the pressure is relieved.
[0014] In the pressure relief check valves, the discharge path that can be opened and closed is arranged downstream of the check valve relative to the flow direction. In this way, by using the check valve’s feature of preventing reverse flow, the stored pressure is relieved by opening the discharge path if necessary. Thus, the pressure relief process takes place. Therefore, the pressure relief check valves are characterized in that the discharge path is arranged downstream of the check valve relative to the check valve flow direction. The pressure relief check valves can be used in all kinds of installations and closed systems in which pressure is to be stored for a certain period of time and must be released at certain times. One of the specific areas in which the pressure relief check valves are used is in the field of foreskin restoration.
[0015] The foreskin restoration is the practice of regularly stretching the skin of the penis. Thanks to this regular practice, mitosis is triggered in the skin of the penis and thus the skin of the penis is permanently lengthened. Specially designed foreskin restoration devices are used for effective foreskin restoration. These instruments apply a certain force to the skin of the penis and keep the skin of the penis taut. As a result of keeping the skin of the penis taut, mitosis is triggered and the skin of the penis lengthens if the instrument is used regularly.
[0016] Foreskin restoration devices use different methods to achieve the tension force applied to the skin of the penis. For this reason, there are foreskin restoration devices that work differently from each other. One of the methods used to obtain tension force in the foreskin restoration devices is to use air pressure.
[0017] In the air-pressurized foreskin restoration devices, the penile skin is stretched with air pressure. These instruments position the skin of the penis to cover the penile glans and create a closed space between the skin of the penis and the penile glans. The air inlet of the instrument opens into this closed space inside the penis. The air is pumped into this closed space in the penis through the air inlet of the instrument. As the amount of air in this closed space created in the penis increases, the skin of the penis is stretched and thus the pressure increases. By storing the air pressure in this space inside the penis, the skin of the penis is kept taut and the instrument works.
[0018] In air-pressurized foreskin restoration devices, a check valve is usually used to store the air pressure. The check valve in the air line of the instrument prevents air from escaping from the penis by preventing reverse flow, thus maintaining pressure. However, when it is time to remove the instrument from the penis, the pressure in the penis must be relieved. This is because removing the instrument from the penis without relieving the pressure causes pain and discomfort. It is also possible that irritation or injury to the skin of the penis may occur due to pressure when the instrument is removed from the penis. Therefore, for both comfort and health reasons, the foreskin restoration device is removed from the penis after the pressure is released from the penis.
[0019] With the air-pressurized foreskin restoration devices, the need for pressure relief is not limited to removing the instrument from the penis. In the first moments when the instrument is inserted into the penis, sometimes the pressure causes sudden pain. This is because the penis needs time to get used to the tension caused by the pressure. Therefore, in such cases, the pressure in the penis is quickly relieved in order to relieve the pain and relax. Then, in order to acclimatize the penis to the pressure and to eliminate the pain, successive air compression and depressurization of the penis are performed. These procedures are repeated until the pain in the penis disappears and the penis gets used to the pressure and the instrument is successfully inserted.
[0020] Therefore, due to the aforementioned conditions, it is necessary to be able to easily relieve the pressure in the air-pressurized foreskin restoration devices. The pressure relief check valves are used for this purpose in the air-pressurized foreskin restoration devices. The pressure relief check valves are installed in the air line of the instrument. If the pressure in the penis is to be relieved, the discharge path that can be opened and closed of the pressure relief check valve is opened and the pressure is thus relieved. In conclusion, the pressure relief check valves are highly functional products for the airpressurized foreskin restoration devices.
[0021] However, there is no production method that allows the pressure relief check valves to be produced in an easy and integrated way and at the same time in suitable dimensions. Such a production method is of vital importance for the small-scale systems in which small-sized pressure relief check valves are required, especially in the foreskin restoration sector. This is because the foreskin restoration sector is still developing and has a narrow economic volume. It is therefore difficult to make large investments in terms of production technologies. Therefore, the production methods such as producing each part separately and assembling them are not sustainable for the sector.
[0022] In addition, since the foreskin restoration devices are in contact with the genital area, they should not be visible from the outside. In addition, since the instruments are attached to the penis for a long time, the volume they occupy should not cause discomfort to the body. Therefore, in order for a pressure relief check valve to be used in the foreskin restoration devices, it must be dimensionally manufactured on a small scale, that is, it must be small in size. In conclusion, the widespread use of the pressure relief check valves used in the air-pressurized foreskin restoration devices in the foreskin restoration sector depends on the development of easy and compatible production methods.
[0023] The development of easy and integrated production methods is also necessary and important in many ways, such as reducing labor and material costs, making pressure relief check valves widely available and shortening the production process. The innovative production methods for the pressure relief check valves are therefore needed.

[0067] DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0068] The invention relates to a check valve with an integrated discharge path and production method thereof. Both functionally different embodiments of the check valve with the integrated discharge path of the invention are produced at the same time by the production method of the invention. This is because the check valve product with the discharge path obtained by the production method of the invention is not limited to any embodiment. The check valve direction of the obtained product can be easily changed and thus easily switched between the two embodiments. As a result, both functionally different embodiments are possible in the same product. Therefore, both functionally different embodiments are subject to the same application. This is why this application covers both embodiments.
[0069] The production method of the invention relates to the production of a check valve with a discharge path from the serum infusion sets used for the intravenous injection. The check valve with the integrated discharge path of the invention is manufactured using parts of the serum infusion sets used for the intravenous injection and therefore produced in a sterile way.
[0070] The serum infusion sets are used to inject liquids such as nutrients, blood and medicines into the body through the vascular access. The serum infusion sets are available on the market. The serum infusion set used in the production of the check valve with the integrated discharge path of the invention is characterized in that it has an airway, i.e., it comprises a drop chamber (1g) with an airway (1 d). The airway (1 d) is opened and closed by its cover (1 e).
[0071] The serum infusion sets are medical products that basically consist of a hose. Thanks to the various parts on this hose, the serum infusion sets have different functions. Fig. 2 shows a representative view of the air-way serum infusion set and its parts, which are widely available in the market and used in the production of the invention.
[0072] As can be seen in Fig. 2, the serum infusion set (1) has a piercing part (1b), also known as a spike, at one end and a needle (1 n) at the other end. After the serum infusion set (1) is removed from the sterile package, there are protective covers to ensure that the piercing part (1 b) and needle (1 n) remain sterile before connecting to the serum bag or bottle. These protective covers are located on the ends of the serum infusion set (1). These are the spike protective cover (1a) protecting the piercing part (1b) and the needle protective cover (1o) protecting the needle (1 n). The piercing part (1b) is a pipe-like fluid line. The piercing part (1 b) is easily attached to serum bags or serum bottles thanks to its spike (1c). The piercing part (1b) ensures the delivery of the fluid into the drop chamber (1g) through the drop outlet (1f) opening into the drop chamber (1g). The drop chamber (1g) is cylindrical.
[0073] The drop chamber (1g) is adjacent to the piercing part (1b) and is transparent in most serum infusion sets on the market. Inside the drop chamber (1g), there is a drop outlet (1f) that opens from the piercing part (1b) into the drop chamber (1g) and delivers the liquid into the drop chamber (1g). The special feature of the drop outlet (1f) is that it connects the piercing part (1b) and the drop chamber (1g) in fluid communication and opens into the drop chamber (1g). In this way, the fluid passing through the piercing part (1b) reaches the drop chamber (1g).
[0074] As can be seen in Fig. 2, the drop chamber (1g) has an airway (1d) located at the top. This airway (1d) is also the airway (1d) of the serum infusion set (1). The airway (1d) is located at the top of the drop chamber (1g) and is opened and closed by means of the cover (1e). The airway (1d) allows air to enter the drop chamber (1g) and facilitates the filling of the liquid in the serum bottle into the drop chamber (1g) by displacing air. However, for the patient’s health, the air entering the drop chamber (1g) through the airway (1d) must be filtered. The inside of the airway (1d) is therefore equipped with a bacterial filter that filters the air entering the drop chamber (1g). This bacterial filter is not visible in the figures since it is located inside. At the same time, in the part in which the drop chamber (1g) meets the hose (1 i), there is a bacterial filter (1h) that filters the liquid as it is transferred to the hose (1i). This is followed by a drop adjustment clamp (1j) which is usually wheeled, positioned on the hose (1 i) of the serum infusion set (1) and allows the drop flow to be controlled. This is followed by a section which is known as the injection section and consists usually of a flexible injection part (1k), a luer connection part (1m) and a needle (1 n). This section provides the connection to the patient’s vascular access. The flexible injection part (1k) is the part to which the hose (1 i) is attached at one end and the luer connection part (1m) at the other end. A needle (1 n) is attached to the other end of the luer connection part (1m) which is attached to the flexible injection part (1k). The needle protective cover (1o) protects the needle (1 n) and keeps it sterile until the needle (1 n) is connected to the vascular access.
[0075] The invention relates to a production method of the check valve with the integrated discharge path, wherein it comprises the process steps of - cutting the drop chamber (1g) of the air-way serum infusion set (1) so that the tip is open, and thus separating it from the serum infusion set (1), removing the spike protective cover (1a) protecting the piercing part (1b),
[0076] - cutting the piercing part (1b), and inserting the check valve (3) into the drop chamber (1g).
[0077] The invention relates to a check valve with an integrated discharge path, wherein it comprises an air-way drop chamber (1g) and a check valve (3) connected to the airway drop chamber (1g).
[0078] The check valve with the integrated discharge path of the invention is easily manufactured by inserting a check valve (3) of suitable size into an air-way drop chamber (1g) separated from the serum infusion set (1). Thus, a revolutionary method of production that provides convenience and integration is introduced. In addition, the production of the invention using the sterile serum infusion sets ensures the hygienic standards at the production stage and makes the product hygienic.
[0079] In the first process in the production stages of the invention, it is important to cut the drop chamber (1g) and separate it from the serum infusion set (1) in order to facilitate the production process. Cutting the drop chamber in the direction of the hose and separating it from the serum infusion set in the first procedure allows for a smaller object to be worked on in subsequent procedures. This facilitates the production process.
[0080] In Fig. 3, the drop chamber (1g) is separated from the serum infusion set (1) and the check valve (3) is ready to be inserted. In order for the invention to be functional and successfully manufactured, there must be no gap between the drop chamber (1g) and the check valve (3). This is because no leakage must occur between the drop chamber (1g) and the check valve (3) during use to enable the invention to work successfully. For this reason, the check valve (3) to be placed inside the drop chamber (1g) must be of the appropriate size for the drop chamber (1g). Most of the check valves, known as aquarium check valves on the market and used to protect the air motors in aquariums from water contact, are compatible in size with the drop chambers. Therefore, the check valve (3) used in the embodiments of the invention shown in the figures is an aquarium check valve. Fig. 4 shows an exploded view of the invention. This exploded view also helps to understand the insertion of the check valve (3) into the drop chamber (1g) during the production process. The check valve (3) is inserted into the drop chamber (1g), as seen in this exploded view. In the production method of the invention, the issue that reveals the functionally different embodiments is the direction of insertion of the check valve (3) into the drop chamber (1g). This is because the functional differences arise due to the position of the airway that can be opened and closed (1d) relative to the check valve flow direction (X).
[0081] In the production method of the invention, the check valve (3) can be positioned in the desired direction according to the desired embodiment of the check valve with the discharge path. However, in the production method of the invention, thanks to the use of a check valve (3) and a drop chamber (1g) which are compatible in size in terms of sealing, there is no need for the drop chamber (1g) and the check valve (3) to be permanently joined for sealing purposes. Thus, it is possible for the end user to remove the check valve with the discharge path of the invention and change the direction thereof and to switch between the functionally different embodiments. Therefore, it can be said that the characterizing feature of the production method of the invention is the coexistence of the check valve (3) and the air-way drop chamber (1g) rather than the direction in which the check valve (3) is placed in the drop chamber (1g). This is because the product obtained is not fixed in any functional embodiment. As a result, the check valve with the integrated discharge path of the invention is a functionally optional product.
[0082] The check valves with the discharge paths may be required with the discharge path arranged upstream or downstream of the check valve relative to the check valve flow direction. For this reason, in the production method of the invention, the check valve (3) is placed in the drop chamber (1g) in the desired direction relative to the airway (1d) and thus the check valve embodiment with the desired functionality is obtained.
[0083] The invention relates to a production method of an embodiment of the check valve with the integrated discharge path, wherein - the check valve (3) is inserted into the drop chamber (1g) in such a way that the airway (1d) is arranged upstream of the check valve (3) relative to the check valve flow direction (X).
[0084] In this embodiment of the check valve with the integrated discharge path of the invention, the airway (1d) is arranged upstream of the check valve (3) relative to the check valve flow direction (X).
[0085] This embodiment, in which the airway (1d) is arranged upstream of the check valve (3) relative to the check valve flow direction (X), is used to reduce or increase the flow rate through the check valve (3), to reduce or increase the flow rate, and to reduce or increase the pressure exerted by the fluid on the objects that prevent it from flowing. During the flow, when the airway (1d) is opened by means of the cover (1e), some fluid is continuously discharged to the outside. Thus, the flow rate and speed of the fluid passing through the check valve (3) decreases. At the same time, the pressure exerted by the fluid on the objects that prevent it from flowing is reduced. When the airway (1 d) is closed by means of the cover (1 e), the flow out of the airway (1 d) stops. Thus, the flow rate and speed of the fluid passing through the check valve (3) increases. At the same time, the pressure exerted by the fluid on the objects that prevent it from flowing is increased. This functional embodiment of the invention is not shown in the figures.
[0086] The invention relates to the production method of an embodiment with the integrated pressure relief of the check valve with the integrated discharge path, wherein
[0087] - the check valve (3) is inserted into the drop chamber (1g) in such a way that the airway (1 d) is arranged downstream of the check valve (3) relative to the check valve flow direction (X).
[0088] In the pressure relief embodiment of the check valve with the integrated discharge path of the invention, the airway (1 d) is arranged downstream of the check valve (3) relative to the check valve flow direction (X).
[0089] In this embodiment, the check valve (3) is held by the check valve inlet (3a) and inserted into the drop chamber (1g), while it is in the same direction as in Fig. 4. Thus, the airway (1d) is arranged downstream of the check valve (3) relative to the check valve flow direction (X).
[0090] Fig. 5 shows this pressure relief embodiment in a ready-to-use state. Since the drop chamber (1g) is transparent, it is possible to see the check valve (3) inside the drop chamber (1g). This pressure relief embodiment is suitable for use in systems in which the pressure is to be stored for a certain period of time and relieved if necessary. This is because in this embodiment the airway (1d) interacts with the check valve (3) to prevent reverse flow. In this embodiment, when the flow stops, the pressure applied by the fluid in the opposite direction to the check valve (3) reaches the airway (1d). Therefore, in this embodiment, the airway (1d) has the power to influence said pressure. In this embodiment, when the airway (1d) is opened by the cover (1e), the fluid that exerts pressure on the check valve (3) exits out of the airway (1d) and the pressure to which the check valve (3) is exposed is reduced. This reduces the load on the check valve (3). In the case of a closed system, the fluid outflow through the airway (1d) continues until the system pressure and atmospheric pressure are balanced and finally the pressure in the system is relieved.
[0091] The air-pressurized foreskin restoration devices are a closed system for which the invention is suitable for use. In these instruments, a closed space is created between the penile glans and the skin of the penis and the air pressure is stored in this closed space. However, when it is time to remove the instrument from the penis, the air pressure in the penis must be relieved. This is because it is uncomfortable to remove the instrument without relieving the air pressure and the pressure can cause irritation and injury. In addition, in the first moments when the instrument is inserted into the penis, sometimes the pressure causes sudden pain. This is because the penis needs time to get used to the pressure. In such cases, the pressure in the penis must be relieved quickly to end the pain. Therefore, the pressure relief embodiment of the invention is a highly functional product for the air-pressurized foreskin restoration devices. This is because this embodiment combines the functions of storing the pressure thanks to the check valve’s (3) ability to prevent reverse flow and relieving the pressure through an airway (1d) independent of the check valve (3).
[0092] As a result of the proper position of the cover (1e), when the airway (1d) is closed, there is no outflow of fluid from the airway (1d). Likewise, there is no fluid outflow from the connection between the check valve (3) and the drop chamber (1g). Therefore, the invention is completely impermeable. When the airway (1d) is closed, there is only a flow in the check valve flow direction (X) in the invention. This is because the check valve (3) allows one-way flow and prevents the fluid in the system from flowing back. Therefore, the check valve flow direction (X) and the flow direction of the invention are the same.
[0093] When the airway of the invention is closed, the air pressure is stored in the penis and the foreskin restoration device works successfully. This ensures that the instrument remains attached to the penis for the desired period of time. When it becomes necessary to relieve the pressure in the penis, the airway of the invention (1d) is opened by means of the cover (1e), as in Fig. 5, and the pressure is relieved. Thus, the pressure stored in the penis is quickly and easily relieved through the airway (1d) thanks to the ability of the check valve (3) to prevent the reverse flow. As a result, the foreskin restoration device is comfortable to use due to the pressure relief embodiment of the invention.
[0094] Apart from the above-mentioned functional embodiments of the invention, which relate to the position of the airway (1d) relative to the check valve flow direction (X), there are other embodiments.
[0095] Additional connection parts are often required to install the check valve with the integrated discharge path in an installation. Thanks to the production method of the invention, these connection parts are obtained from the serum infusion set (1).
[0096] The invention relates to a production method of an embodiment of the check valve with the integrated discharge path, wherein it comprises the process steps of
[0097] - disassembling the flexible injection part (1k) of the serum infusion set (1) from the hose (1i) and luer connection part (1m),
[0098] - cutting the flexible injection part (1k) into two parts, and
[0099] - attaching two obtained flexible injection parts (1k) into the cut piercing part (2) and the check valve inlet (3a). Thus, the connection parts required to use the product of the invention are obtained by the same production method and from the same materials. In this sense, an object of the production method of the invention is to maximize the benefit from a serum infusion set (1) and is successful.
[0100] Fig. 6 shows the pressure relief embodiment of the invention with the cut flexible injection parts (1k) attached. The fact that the invention has the flexible injection parts (1k) as connection parts is another feature that enables integration into the airpressurized foreskin restoration devices. This is because most of these instruments are fully compatible with the flexible injection parts (1k).
[0101] Fig. 1 shows the pressure relief embodiment in perspective view with the cut flexible injection parts (1k) attached. Fig. 1 shows the invention in a ready-to-use state. In Fig. 1 , the airway (1d) that can be opened and closed of the drop chamber (1g) is arranged downstream of the check valve (3) relative to the check valve flow direction (X), as required by the characteristics of a pressure relief check valve. The check valve (3) allows fluid passage in one direction and prevents reverse flow. The check valve (3) is also in communication with the drop outlet (1f) so that the fluid flows through the invention. Thus, the invention works successfully. In Fig. 1 , the airway (1d) is not visible because the cover (1 e) closes the airway (1d). In Fig. 1, the airway (1d) is below the cover (1 e).
[0102] Another embodiment of the invention is intended to increase pressure resistance. In the aquarium check valve embodiment of the invention, the exploded view of which is shown in Fig. 4, there is a check valve disc (3b) and a check valve seat (3c). At the same time, the check valve disc (3b) is visible because the aquarium check valve is used in other embodiments of the invention. In Fig. 4, it is possible to see how the check valve (3) is inserted into the check valve seat (3c). The check valve (3) is flexible and also suitable in size for the check valve seat (3c). Thanks to these features, the check valve (3) is held in the check valve seat (3c). However, in the systems in which the flow rate is high, it is possible for the check valve (3) and the check valve seat (3c) to separate from each other due to the pressure exerted by the fluid on the objects it encounters. In order to preserve functionality against such situations, the process step of - gluing the check valve (3) to the check valve seat (3c) is added to the production stages. This stabilizes the connection of the check valve (3) and the check valve seat (3c) and increases the pressure resistance of the invention. The adhesive used for gluing the check valve (3) to the check valve seat (3c) is a liquid adhesive which dries over time.
[0103] Another embodiment of the invention is directed to improving the compatibility of the check valve (3) and the drop chamber (1g). One of the elements that makes the invention integrated is that the check valve (3) and the drop chamber (1g) are perfectly matched. The drop chamber (1g) is flexible and cylindrical at the same time. The check valve disc (3b) has a diameter larger than the drop chamber (1g) and is of rigid construction. Thanks to these features, the check valve disc (3b) stretches and expands the drop chamber (1g) by means of its large diameter, so that the check valve (3) and the drop chamber (1g) are sealingly held together. Thus, the aquarium check valve embodiment of the invention has a great advantage in terms of integration.
[0104] Sometimes, however, there is a gap between the check valve disc (3b) and the drip chamber (1g) as the diameter of the check valve disc (3b) is too small for the drop chamber (1g) or the drop chamber (1g) has lost its cylindrical shape. This gap disrupts the sealing of the drop chamber (1g) and the check valve (3) and the fluid leak occurs. This prevents the invention from working successfully. Therefore, in such cases, in order to preserve the functionality of the invention, the process step of
[0105] - joining the drop chamber (1g) and the check valve (3) with the filling material is added to the production stages.
[0106] In this process step, the mismatch between the check valve (3) and the drop chamber (1g) is eliminated and the possible fluid leaks are prevented. In this way, the invention is successfully produced. Fig. 7 shows a filled version of the pressure relief embodiment of the invention. In this embodiment, the filling is made on the inner surface of the drop chamber (1g) in such a way as to close the gap between the check valve disc (3b) and the drop chamber (1g). Fig. 7 shows the filling part (4) between the drop chamber (1g) and the check valve disc (3b), which is located on the inner surface of the drop chamber (1g). As a filling material, a liquid adhesive which dries over time is usually used. In the filled embodiment of the invention, it is not possible to remove the check valve (3) and the drop chamber (1g) in order to change the direction. Therefore, it is not possible for the end user to switch between the functional embodiments of the invention. The filled embodiment is not optional in this sense.
[0107] The production method of the invention is revolutionary thanks to its practical features. The materials used are a serum infusion set (1), which is used for intravenous injection, and an aquarium check valve, which is very practical. This is because the serum infusion sets are widely and easily available in the market as they are common medical products. At the same time, the aquarium check valves are also widely and easily available on the market. By using readily available materials, the production costs are low and the procurement process is easy.
[0108] An object of the production method of the invention is to maximize the benefit from a serum infusion set. In this sense, it is a great advantage that the connection parts required for the use of the invention can be obtained from the serum infusion set (1). Thus, a facilitating revolution is being made in terms of the production technologies for the foreskin restoration sector. With the invention, a fully integrated production method for the air-pressurized foreskin restoration devices is developed.
[0109] The check valve with the integrated discharge path of the invention is highly functional thanks to its functions and the solutions it offers. In addition, its qualities are fully compatible with the foreskin restoration sector. This is why the invention is characterized by integration.
[0110] The drop chambers (1g) of the serum infusion sets (1) are generally transparent, increasing the suitability of the invention for the foreskin restoration devices. This is because the transparency of the drop chamber (1g) ensures that any foreign bodies that may enter the invention by any means can be detected in advance. In this way, the possibility of a foreign body reaching and contacting the penis is minimized while pressing air into the penis with the foreskin restoration device. The drop chamber (1g) is transparent, which increases the applicability of the invention in the medical field. This is because it is important in medicine that the instruments used are observable. Just like the drop chambers, the hoses of serum infusion sets are usually transparent. The presence of a bacterial filter in the airway (1d) of the invention increases the hygienic performance of the invention. There is a bacterial filter (1h) on the hose (1i) side of the drop chamber (1g) of the serum infusion set (1), as well as a bacterial filter inside the airway (1d). This prevents the foreign bodies from entering the airway (1d) when it is open. Thus, when the invention is used in the foreskin restoration device, the possibility of a possible foreign body entering through the airway (1d), reaching the penis and contacting the penis is minimized.
[0111] In addition, the production of the invention using the sterile serum infusion sets makes it possible to produce the check valves with the discharge paths for medical purposes. It is possible to make the invention suitable for medical use by applying the production method of the invention in the facilities producing serum infusion sets and applying sterilization process just like serum infusion sets.
[0112] In addition, the drop chambers and aquarium check valves of serum infusion sets are small in size, resulting in a small-sized product. Thus, the check valve with integrated discharge path of the invention is suitable for small-scale, i.e., small-sized installations.
[0113] INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION
[0114] The invention can be produced, applied and used in any branch of industry. The invention can particularly be used in the small-scale installations and closed systems requiring a check valve with a discharge path. It is also possible to produce it during the production of the sterile serum infusion sets and thus make it into a check valve with a discharge path suitable for medical use. One of the specific applications of the invention is in the foreskin restoration sector. The invention is suitable for use in an airpressurized foreskin restoration devices.
