Abstract
Description
medical devices
[0001] The present invention relates to medical devices.
[0002] For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2013-63105 discloses a medicinal solution administration device (medical device) that includes a housing and a flexible sheet-like adhesive member that is attached to the housing and can be attached to the skin of a living body.
[0003] There is a demand for a medical device that can stably attach an adhesive member to the skin of a living body.
[0004] The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned problems.
[0005] (1) One aspect of the present invention is a medical device comprising a housing and a flexible sheet-like adhesive member provided on the housing and including an adhesive surface that can be attached to the skin of a living body, the medical device further comprising an attachment that is removably attached to the housing, the adhesive member having an adhesive main body fixed to a first outer surface of the housing and a protruding portion that extends from the adhesive main body so as to protrude outward beyond the housing and that is pressed by the attachment in an attached state with the attachment attached to the housing and deforms to conform to a second outer surface adjacent to the first outer surface of the housing, the protruding portion including a protruding main body and an easily deformable portion that is less rigid than the protruding main body, the easily deformable portion being provided on a portion of the protruding portion that deforms (e.g., curves and deforms) at least between the attachment and the housing in the attached state.
[0006] With this configuration, when the attachment is attached, the protruding portion deforms to fit the second outer surface of the housing, allowing the medical device to be made compact. Furthermore, because the easily deformable portion is provided at the deformable portion of the protruding portion, the protruding portion easily returns to its original shape when the attachment is removed from the housing. That is, when the attachment is removed from the housing, the protruding portion is prevented from remaining deformed so that it floats up on the side opposite to the direction in which the attachment surface faces the attachment main body. This makes it easier to maintain the entire attachment surface flat when the attachment is removed from the housing. Furthermore, because the protruding portion includes a protruding main body that is more rigid than the easily deformable portion, it is easier to press the protruding portion with the fingers compared to when the entire protruding portion is formed from the easily deformable portion. This allows the attachment member to be stably attached to the skin of a living body.
[0007] (2) In the medical device described in the above item (1), the adhesive member may include an adhesive sheet having the adhesive surface, and a base sheet that is provided on the surface of the adhesive sheet opposite to the adhesive surface and supports the adhesive sheet. With this configuration, the base sheet makes it easier to set the adhesive member to an appropriate rigidity.
[0008] (3) In the medical device according to the above item (2), the extension main body may include at least a portion of the base sheet, and the easily deformable portion may not include the base sheet. With this configuration, the easily deformable portion can be easily provided on the extension portion.
[0009] (4) In the medical device described in (2), each of the protruding body and the easily deformable portion includes at least a portion of the base sheet, and the base sheet may have a first portion that forms the easily deformable portion and a second portion that forms the protruding body, and the first portion may be thinner than the second portion. With this configuration, the easily deformable portion can be easily provided on the protruding portion.
[0010] (5) In the medical device according to the above item (4), the base sheet may be provided with a groove, and the first portion may be formed by the groove. With this configuration, the rigidity of the easily deformable portion can be easily reduced.
[0011] (6) In the medical device according to the above item (5), the groove may be formed on the surface of the base sheet facing the adhesive sheet. With this configuration, the protruding portion can be easily bent in the direction opposite to the adhesive sheet when attaching the attachment to the housing. This makes it easier to attach the attachment to the housing.
[0012] (7) In the medical device according to any one of the above items (2) to (6), the adhesive body may not include the base sheet. With this configuration, the configuration of the adhesive member can be further simplified.
[0013] (8) In the medical device according to any one of the above items (1) to (7), the housing may extend in one direction, the protruding portion may extend outward from the adhesive main body in a width direction intersecting the extension direction of the housing, and the easily deformable portion may extend over the entire length of the adhesive member in the extension direction of the housing. With this configuration, the dimensions of the medical device along the width direction of the housing can be made compact when the attachment is attached to the housing.
[0014] (9) In the medical device according to any one of the above items (1) to (8), a release sheet is removably provided on the application surface, a grip portion is provided on the outer periphery of the release sheet, and the adhesive member may not be provided on the grip portion. With this configuration, the release sheet can be peeled off from the application surface while gripping the grip portion.
[0015] (10) In the medical device according to the above item (9), the gripping portion may be a first gripping portion, and a second gripping portion may be provided on the outer periphery of the adhesive member, and the second gripping portion may not be provided with the adhesive surface. With this configuration, the adhesive surface can be peeled off from the skin while the second gripping portion is gripped.
[0016] (11) In the medical device described in (10) above, the first gripping portion and the second gripping portion may be positioned so as to overlap each other and spaced apart when viewed in the thickness direction of the adhesive member. This configuration allows the first gripping portion and the second gripping portion to be processed simultaneously, thereby reducing the number of steps required to manufacture the medical device. The configuration of the medical device is also simplified. Furthermore, because the first gripping portion and the second gripping portion are spaced apart, only the first gripping portion can be easily gripped when peeling the release sheet from the adhesive surface.
[0017] (12) In the medical device according to any one of the above items (1) to (11), a release sheet is provided on the application surface in a releasable manner, and the release sheet may be a single continuous sheet. With this configuration, the release sheet can be efficiently peeled off.
[0018] (13) The medical device according to any one of the above items (1) to (11), wherein a release sheet is removably provided on the adhesive surface, the adhesive member and the release sheet have openings formed therein that penetrate the adhesive member and the release sheet in the thickness direction of the adhesive member, and the release sheet is divided into a plurality of separate sheets by dividing lines that are positioned away from the openings so as not to connect to the outer periphery of the openings. With this configuration, it is possible to prevent the release sheet from tearing when peeled off from the adhesive surface.
[0019] (14) In the medical device according to any one of items (1) to (13), the housing may include a prefilled syringe and a puncture needle for administering the medicinal liquid contained in the prefilled syringe to a living body, the housing may include a needle outlet port for exposing the tip of the puncture needle, and the attachment may seal the needle outlet port when attached to the housing. With this configuration, a medical device for administering the medicinal liquid to a living body can be obtained.
[0020] According to the present invention, the adhesive member can be stably attached to the skin of a living body.

[0022] A medical device 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. As shown in Figures 1 and 9, the medical device 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention is a patch-type drug solution administration device 12 that is attached to the skin 202 of a patient, which is a living body 200.
[0023] The medicinal solution administration device 12 continuously administers the medicinal solution over a relatively long period of time (for example, several minutes to several hours) into the living body 200. The medicinal solution administration device 12 may also intermittently administer the medicinal solution into the living body 200. Examples of medicinal solutions include protein preparations such as insulin preparations, narcotic analgesics, and diuretics.
[0024] As shown in FIG. 2, the drug solution administration device 12 includes a device body 14, a housing 16, an attachment 18, an adhesive member 20, and a release sheet 22.
[0025] The device main body 14 has a syringe pump section 24 and a puncture unit 26. The syringe pump section 24 includes a pre-filled syringe 28 and a drive unit 30. The syringe pump section 24 is disposed inside the housing 16 in a state that is slidable along the longitudinal direction (X direction) of the housing 16.
[0026] The prefilled syringe 28 includes a syringe body 32, a gasket 34, a sealing member 36, and a tip cap 38. The syringe body 32 is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape with an internal medicinal liquid chamber. The medicinal liquid is pre-filled inside the syringe body 32. The syringe body 32 is preferably made of a transparent material. The base end (the end in the X2 direction) of the syringe body 32 is open.
[0027] The gasket 34 is slidably disposed inside the syringe body 32. The gasket 34 is made of an elastic resin material such as a rubber material or an elastomer material. The outer peripheral surface of the gasket 34 is in close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the syringe body 32 in a liquid-tight manner.
[0028] The sealing member 36 liquid-tightly seals the tip opening of the syringe body 32. The sealing member 36 is made of an elastic resin material such as a rubber material or an elastomer material. The tip cap 38 prevents the sealing member 36 from slipping out of the syringe body 32. The tip cap 38 is made of, for example, a hard resin material.
[0029] The drive unit 30 supports the pre-filled syringe 28. The drive unit 30 has a plunger 42 for pressing the gasket 34 toward the distal end, and a drive cover part 44 that supports the pre-filled syringe 28. The drive unit 30 includes a power supply part (e.g., a battery), a motor, a power transmission mechanism, a control part, etc.
[0030] The puncture unit 26 is attached to the housing 16. The puncture unit 26 has a puncture needle 46 (see FIG. 3), a needle support portion 48, a connecting needle 50, a needle coupling portion 52, and a tube portion 54. As shown in FIG. 3, the puncture needle 46 has a needle tip that can puncture the skin 202 of the living body 200. The puncture needle 46 is formed in a tubular shape. The puncture needle 46 extends along the thickness direction (Z direction) of the housing 16.
[0031] As shown in FIG. 2 , the needle support portion 48 is disposed in the housing 16 and supports the puncture needle 46. The connecting needle 50 has a needle tip that can penetrate the sealing member 36. The connecting needle 50 is formed in a tubular shape. The connecting needle 50 extends along the axial direction (X direction) of the prefilled syringe 28. The needle tip of the connecting needle 50 faces the X2 direction. In the initial state of the medicinal solution administration device 12, the needle tip of the connecting needle 50 is separated from the sealing member 36 in the X1 direction.
[0032] The needle connecting part 52 connects the base end of the connecting needle 50 to the base end of the puncture needle 46. The needle connecting part 52 is a flexible tube that connects the inner cavity of the connecting needle 50 to the inner cavity of the puncture needle 46. The cylindrical part 54 covers the connecting needle 50. The cylindrical part 54 is open in the X2 direction.
[0033] The housing 16 extends in the X direction. The housing 16 has a first cover member 56 and a second cover member 58. The first cover member 56 has a bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16. A sheet-like attachment member 20 is fixed to a first outer surface 61, which is the outer surface of the bottom wall portion 60.
[0034] The first cover member 56 has a first peripheral wall portion 62 that protrudes from the outer periphery of the bottom wall portion 60 in a direction (Z2 direction) toward a ceiling portion 64 of the housing 16. The second cover member 58 has the ceiling portion 64 of the housing 16. The second cover member 58 has a second peripheral wall portion 66 that protrudes from the outer periphery of the ceiling portion 64 in a direction (Z1 direction) toward the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16.
[0035] The first peripheral wall portion 62 and the second peripheral wall portion 66 form a peripheral wall portion 68 of the housing 16 by engaging the protruding end portion of the first peripheral wall portion 62 with the protruding end portion of the second peripheral wall portion 66. A second outer surface 69, which is the outer surface of the peripheral wall portion 68, is adjacent to the first outer surface 61.
[0036] 3 , the drug solution administration device 12 has a first opening 70 and a second opening 72 formed to penetrate the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16 and the adhesive member 20 in the Z direction. The first opening 70 and the second opening 72 are located at one end (the end in the X1 direction) of the bottom wall portion 60. The first opening 70 and the second opening 72 are aligned in the width direction (Y direction) of the housing 16.
[0037] The first opening 70 is a circular hole. The first opening 70 is a needle outlet 73 for projecting the puncture needle 46 of the puncture unit 26 outward from the housing 16 toward the skin 202 of the living body 200. The second opening 72 is a slit extending in the Y direction. The second opening 72 is a hole for inserting a part of the attachment 18 from the outside to the inside of the housing 16.
[0038] 1 and 2, a window 74 is provided in the ceiling portion 64 of the housing 16 to allow the medicinal liquid in the prefilled syringe 28 located inside the housing 16 to be viewed. This allows the remaining amount of medicinal liquid in the prefilled syringe 28 to be easily confirmed. An operation cover 76 is also provided in the ceiling portion 64 of the housing 16. When the operation cover 76 is operated (depressed), the puncture needle 46 protrudes from the needle outlet 73. An insertion hole 78 is provided at the end of the housing 16 in the X2 direction to allow a portion of the syringe pump unit 24 to be inserted into the housing 16.
[0039] As shown in Fig. 1 , in the initial state of the drug solution administration device 12, the attachment 18 is attached to the housing 16. As shown in Fig. 2 , when the attachment 18 is attached, the attachment 18 keeps the puncturing unit 26 and the pre-filled syringe 28 in a sterile state. The attachment 18 has an opening portion 80, a puncturing seal portion 82, and a connection seal portion 84.
[0040] The tear-open portion 80 is made of a hard resin material. Examples of materials that can be used for the tear-open portion 80 include, but are not limited to, polyacetal. The tear-open portion 80 extends in the Y direction. The tear-open portion 80 is detachable from an attachment groove 86 provided in the housing 16. In the initial state of the medicinal solution administration device 12, the tear-open portion 80 is attached to the housing 16 so as to cover a portion of the adhesive member 20 from the outside (see FIG. 1 ).
[0041] When the attachment 18 is attached, the puncture seal part 82 seals the puncture needle 46 by sealing the needle outlet port 73. The puncture seal part 82 is provided in the opening part 80. When the attachment 18 is attached, the connection seal part 84 seals the connecting needle 50 by sealing the opening in the X2 direction of the tubular part 54 while inserted into the second opening 72. Furthermore, in the initial state, the connection seal part 84 abuts against the tubular part 54 to seal the connecting needle 50.
[0042] 4 to 6, the attachment member 20 is a flexible sheet-like member. The attachment member 20 has a base sheet 88 and an attachment sheet 90. The base sheet 88 is a flexible resin sheet. Examples of materials that can be used for the base sheet 88 include, but are not limited to, PET (polyethylene terephthalate).
[0043] By providing two sheet removal portions 92 on the base sheet 88, the base sheet 88 is divided into a first base portion 94 and two second base portions 96. The sheet removal portions 92 extend linearly over the entire length of the base sheet 88 in the extension direction (X direction). The length of the sheet removal portions 92 along the X direction may be shorter than the length of the base sheet 88 along the X direction. The sheet removal portions 92 only need to be provided in a portion that deforms (curves and deforms in this embodiment) at least between the attachment 18 and the housing 16 when the attachment 18 is attached.
[0044] A portion of the first base portion 94 is fixed to the first outer surface 61 of the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16. The width of the first base portion 94 in the Y direction is the same (substantially the same) as the width of the outer surface of the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16 in the Y direction. The two second base portions 96 are located on both sides of the first base portion 94 in the Y direction. A sheet removal portion 92 is provided between the first base portion 94 and the second base portion 96. In other words, the first base portion 94 is located between the two second base portions 96 in the Y direction. The two second base portions 96 are not fixed to the housing 16.
[0045] As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the adhesive sheet 90 is fixed to the surface of the base sheet 88 opposite to the housing 16. The adhesive sheet 90 is formed to be softer than the base sheet 88. In other words, the rigidity of the adhesive sheet 90 is lower than the rigidity of the base sheet 88. The adhesive sheet 90 has an adhesive surface 100 facing the opposite side (Z1 direction) from the base sheet 88. The adhesive surface 100 is an adhesive surface that is attached to the skin 202 of the living body 200. The adhesive sheet 90 is, for example, entirely made of adhesive (adhesive). Note that the adhesive sheet 90 may also be formed by applying adhesive (adhesive) to one surface of a sheet that does not have adhesive force.
[0046] The release sheet 22 is removably attached to the attachment surface 100 in the initial state of the medicinal solution administration device 12. The release sheet 22 is removed from the attachment surface 100 when the medicinal solution administration device 12 is used. The release sheet 22 is attached to the entire attachment surface 100. The release sheet 22 protects the attachment surface 100. The release sheet 22 is, for example, a continuous piece of thin paper (release paper).
[0047] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, a first gripping portion 102 is provided on the outer periphery of the release sheet 22. The first gripping portion 102 extends outward beyond the adhesive sheet 90. In other words, the adhesive sheet 90 is not provided on the first gripping portion 102. The first gripping portion 102 is provided on the end portion of the release sheet 22 in the X1 direction. The first gripping portion 102 is located in the center of the release sheet 22 in the Y direction. The first gripping portion 102 is formed in a semicircular shape.
[0048] As shown in Figure 4, the width W1 of the first gripping portion 102 in the Y direction is set to, for example, 10 mm or more. The length L1 in the X direction from the end of the housing 16 in the X1 direction to the extending end of the first gripping portion 102 is set to 15 mm or more. In this case, the first gripping portion 102 can be easily gripped with fingers. The size and shape of the first gripping portion 102 can be set as appropriate.
[0049] 4 and 5, a second gripping portion 104 is provided on the outer periphery of the base sheet 88. The second gripping portion 104 protrudes in the X1 direction from the X1-direction end of the first base portion 94. The size and shape of the second gripping portion 104 are the same as those of the first gripping portion 102. The second gripping portion 104 is not provided with the adhesive sheet 90.
[0050] As shown in Fig. 5, the second gripping portion 104 extends from the base sheet 88 in the X1 direction, tilting toward the opposite side of the release sheet 22 (Z2 direction). The first gripping portion 102 and the second gripping portion 104 are positioned so as to overlap each other and are spaced apart when viewed in the thickness direction of the adhesive sheet 90 (Z direction) (see Figs. 4 and 5). The tilt angle θ of the second gripping portion 104 is set to, for example, 30°. The tilt angle θ can be set as appropriate and may be an angle greater than 30° (e.g., 45° or 60°) or less than 30° (e.g., 20°).
[0051] The positions of the first gripping portion 102 and the second gripping portion 104 can be set as appropriate. The first gripping portion 102 may be provided, for example, at the Y-direction end or the X2-direction end of the release sheet 22. The second gripping portion 104 may be provided on the second base portion 96.
[0052] 1 , the first gripping portion 102 is preferably provided at a position that avoids the portion of the release sheet 22 that is folded back by the attachment 18 when the attachment 18 is attached. Therefore, it is preferable that the first gripping portion 102 is not provided at a corner in the X1 direction of the release sheet 22. Similarly, it is preferable that the second gripping portion 104 is provided at a position that avoids the portion of the adhesive member 20 that is folded back by the attachment 18 when the attachment 18 is attached. Therefore, it is preferable that the second gripping portion 104 is not provided at a corner in the X1 direction of the adhesive member 20. The first gripping portion 102 and the second gripping portion 104 may be provided at positions that do not overlap each other in the Z direction.
[0053] 4 , the attachment member 20 has an attachment main body 106 and a protruding portion 107. The attachment main body 106 is a portion of the attachment member 20 that is fixed to the outer surface of the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16. The attachment main body 106 includes a first base portion 94 and an attachment sheet 90.
[0054] The protruding portion 107 is a portion of the attachment member 20 that extends from the attachment main body 106 so as to protrude outward beyond the housing 16. The protruding portion 107 extends in the X1 direction and the Y direction relative to the housing 16. The protruding portion 107 includes a pair of lateral protruding portions 108 and an intermediate protruding portion 109. The pair of lateral protruding portions 108 are located on both sides in the Y direction of the first outer surface 61 of the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16. The lateral protruding portions 108 extend over the entire length of the attachment member 20 in the X direction. The intermediate protruding portion 109 connects the portions of the pair of lateral protruding portions 108 that are further in the X1 direction than the first outer surface 61.
[0055] The length along the Y direction from the second outer surface 69 of the housing 16 to the extending end of the lateral protruding portion 108 (protruding length L2) is preferably 7 mm or more and 20 mm or less, and more preferably 8.5 mm or more and 20 mm or less. If the protruding length L2 is 7 mm or more, the protruding portion 107 can be easily pressed with the fingers when adhering the adhesive member 20 to the skin 202 of the living body 200, and therefore the adhesive member 20 can be well adhered to the skin 202 of the living body 200. If the protruding length L2 is 8.5 mm or more, the protruding portion 107 can be even more easily pressed with the fingers when adhering the adhesive member 20 to the skin 202 of the living body 200. If the protruding length L2 is 20 mm or less, pain when peeling the adhesive member 20 from the skin 202 can be reduced.
[0056] When the attachment 18 is attached, the lateral protrusion 108 is pressed by the attachment 18 and elastically deforms to fit along the second outer surface 69 of the peripheral wall 68 of the housing 16 (see FIG. 1). As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, the lateral protrusion 108 includes a protrusion main body 110 and an easily deformable portion 112. The protrusion main body 110 is formed by laminating the second base portion 96 and the adhesive sheet 90. In other words, the protrusion main body 110 includes at least a portion of the base sheet 88.
[0057] The easily deformable portion 112 is provided in a portion of the lateral overhang portion 108 that deforms when the attachment 18 is attached. The easily deformable portion 112 is located in a portion of the attachment member 20 where the sheet removal portion 92 is provided. In other words, the easily deformable portion 112 includes the attachment sheet 90 but does not include the base sheet 88. Therefore, the rigidity of the easily deformable portion 112 is lower than the rigidity of the overhang main body 110.
[0058] The pair of easily deformable portions 112 are adjacent to both sides in the Y direction of the first outer surface 61 of the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16. The easily deformable portions 112 are located at portions facing the corner portion connecting the bottom wall portion 60 and the first peripheral wall portion 62 of the housing 16 when the attachment 18 is attached. In other words, the easily deformable portions 112 are located at the base of the lateral protrusions 108. The easily deformable portions 112 extend over the entire length of the attachment member 20 in the extension direction of the housing 16 (X direction).
[0059] The length of the easily deformable portion 112 in the X direction may be shorter than the length of the attachment member 20 in the X direction. The easily deformable portion 112 only needs to be provided in a portion that deforms (curves in this embodiment) at least between the attachment 18 and the housing 16 when the attachment 18 is attached. As shown in Figure 6, the width W2 of the easily deformable portion 112 in the Y direction (the width of the sheet removal portion 92) can be set as appropriate, but is greater than the thickness of the base sheet 88, for example.
[0060] Next, a method of using the drug solution administration device 12 will be described.
[0061] 1 , in the initial state of the medicinal solution administration device 12, the attachment 18 is attached to the housing 16. Therefore, the lateral protrusion 108 is bent by the attachment 18. In this embodiment, in the initial state of the medicinal solution administration device 12, the lateral protrusion 108 is deformed so as to face the second outer surface 69 of the peripheral wall portion 68 of the housing 16.
[0062] When using the drug solution administration device 12, the user removes the attachment 18 from the housing 16. This unseals the puncture needle 46 with the puncture seal portion 82, and unseals the connection needle 50 with the connection seal portion 84.
[0063] 7, the deformed (elastically deformed) portion of the lateral protrusion 108 returns to its original shape by elastic force. In this embodiment, the easily deformable portion 112 is provided in the attachment member 20, so that the lateral protrusion 108 is prevented from floating up in the Z2 direction relative to the attachment main body 106 when the attachment 18 is detached from the housing 16. In other words, when the attachment 18 is detached from the housing 16, the deformation that occurred when the attachment 18 was attached is unlikely to remain in the lateral protrusion 108. Therefore, when the attachment 18 is detached from the housing 16, the entire attachment member 20 extends along the XY plane.
[0064] Next, the X2 direction end of the drive unit 30 is pushed in the X1 direction into the housing 16. This causes the connecting needle 50 to pierce the sealing member 36 of the prefilled syringe 28, allowing the medicinal liquid in the prefilled syringe 28 to be delivered to the puncture needle 46.
[0065] Next, as shown in Fig. 8 , the release sheet 22 is peeled off from the adhesive sheet 90 while the first gripping portion 102 is pinched with the fingers. This exposes the adhesive surface 100 to the outside. After peeling off the release sheet 22, the adhesive surface 100 is attached to the skin 202 of the living body 200, as shown in Fig. 9 . Specifically, the protruding portion 107, which has a suitable rigidity, is pressed against the skin 202 with the fingers. Thereafter, the operation cover 76 is pressed to cause the puncture needle 46 to puncture the skin 202, thereby administering the medicinal solution to the living body 200.
[0066] When the administration of the medicinal solution to the living body 200 is completed and the medicinal solution administration device 12 is to be removed from the skin 202, the second gripping portion 104 is pinched with the fingers and pulled up in the Z2 direction. This allows the adhesive surface 100 to be smoothly peeled off from the skin 202.
[0067] According to this embodiment, when the attachment 18 is attached, the lateral protrusions 108 deform to conform to the second outer surface 69 of the housing 16, thereby making it possible to make the medical device 10 (medicinal solution administration device 12) more compact. Furthermore, because the easily deformable portions 112 are provided at the deformable portions of the lateral protrusions 108, the lateral protrusions 108 are more likely to return to their original shape when the attachment 18 is removed from the housing 16. That is, when the attachment 18 is removed from the housing 16, it is possible to prevent the lateral protrusions 108 from remaining deformed so as to rise up on the side opposite to the direction in which the attachment surface 100 faces the attachment body 106. This makes it easier to maintain the entire attachment surface 100 flat when the attachment 18 is removed from the housing 16. Furthermore, since the overhanging portion 107 includes the overhanging main body 110 that is more rigid than the easily deformable portion 112, it is easier to hold the overhanging portion 107 with the fingers compared to when the entire overhanging portion 107 is formed from the easily deformable portion 112. Therefore, the attachment member 20 can be stably attached to the skin 202 of the living body 200.
[0068] The adhesive member 20 includes an adhesive sheet 90 having an adhesive surface 100, and a base sheet 88 that is provided on the surface of the adhesive sheet 90 opposite to the adhesive surface 100 and supports the adhesive sheet 90. With this configuration, the base sheet 88 makes it easy to set the adhesive member 20 to an appropriate rigidity.
[0069] The extension main body 110 includes at least a portion of the base sheet 88, and the easily deformable portion 112 does not include the base sheet 88. With this configuration, the easily deformable portion 112 can be easily provided on the lateral extension portion 108.
[0070] The housing 16 extends in one direction. The lateral protruding portions 108 extend outward from the adhesive body 106 in a width direction intersecting the extension direction of the housing 16. The easily deformable portion 112 extends over the entire length of the adhesive member 20 in the extension direction of the housing 16. With this configuration, when the attachment 18 is attached to the housing 16, the dimensions of the medical device 10 along the width direction of the housing 16 can be made compact.
[0071] A release sheet 22 is removably provided on the application surface 100. A first gripping portion 102 is provided on the outer periphery of the release sheet 22, and the first gripping portion 102 is not provided with the adhesive member 20. With this configuration, the release sheet 22 can be peeled off from the application surface 100 while the first gripping portion 102 is gripped.
[0072] A second gripping portion 104 is provided on the outer periphery of the adhesive member 20. The second gripping portion 104 is not provided with the adhesive surface 100. With this configuration, the adhesive surface 100 can be peeled off from the skin 202 while the second gripping portion 104 is being gripped.
[0073] The first gripping portion 102 and the second gripping portion 104 are positioned so as to overlap each other and are spaced apart when viewed in the thickness direction of the adhesive member 20. With this configuration, the first gripping portion 102 and the second gripping portion 104 can be processed simultaneously, thereby reducing the number of steps required to manufacture the medical device 10. In addition, the configuration of the medical device 10 is simplified. Furthermore, because the first gripping portion 102 and the second gripping portion 104 are spaced apart from each other, only the first gripping portion 102 can be easily gripped when peeling the release sheet 22 from the adhesive surface 100.
[0074] The release sheet 22 is a single continuous sheet. With this configuration, the release sheet 22 can be efficiently peeled off.
[0075] A prefilled syringe 28 and a puncture needle 46 for administering the medicinal liquid contained in the prefilled syringe 28 to a living organism 200 are provided inside the housing 16. A needle outlet 73 for exposing the needle tip of the puncture needle 46 is formed in the housing 16, and the attachment 18 seals the needle outlet 73 when attached to the housing 16. With this configuration, a medical device 10 (medicinal liquid administration device 12) for administering the medicinal liquid to a living organism 200 can be obtained.
[0076] (First Modification) Next, an attachment member 20a according to a first modification will be described. In this modification, the same components of the attachment member 20a as those of the attachment member 20 described above are designated by the same reference numerals, and detailed descriptions thereof will be omitted. The same applies to an attachment member 20b according to a second modification described later.
[0077] 10 , the attachment member 20a has a base sheet 88a and an attachment sheet 90. The base sheet 88a is provided with a groove portion 120 instead of the sheet removal portion 92. The groove portion 120 is formed on the surface of the base sheet 88a facing away from the housing 16 (in the Z1 direction).
[0078] The groove 120 extends over the entire length of the base sheet 88a in the X direction. The length of the groove 120 in the X direction may be shorter than the length of the base sheet 88a in the X direction. The groove 120 only needs to be provided in at least a portion that deforms (curves in this embodiment) between the attachment 18 and the housing 16 when the attachment 18 is attached. The width of the groove 120 is the same as the width of the sheet removal portion 92 described above. The base sheet 88a includes a first base portion 94, a pair of second base portions 96, and a pair of base connecting portions 122. The base connecting portions 122 connect the first base portion 94 and the second base portion 96 to each other. The base connecting portions 122 form the bottom surface of the groove 120.
[0079] The attachment member 20a has an attachment main body 106 and an overhanging portion 107a. The lateral overhanging portion 108a of the overhanging portion 107a includes an overhanging main body 110 and an easily deformable portion 112a. The attachment main body 106 and the easily deformable portion 112a each include at least a portion of a base sheet 88a. The base sheet 88a has a base connecting portion 122 (first portion) that forms the easily deformable portion 112a, and a second base portion 96 (second portion) that forms the overhanging main body 110. The base connecting portion 122 is thinner than the second base portion 96.
[0080] In this modification, the same configuration as the above-described attachment member 20a provides the same effects.
[0081] The extension main body 110 and the easily deformable portion 112a each include at least a portion of the base sheet 88a. The base sheet 88a has a base connecting portion 122 that forms the easily deformable portion 112a and a second base portion 96 that forms the extension main body 110. The base connecting portion 122 is thinner than the second base portion 96. With this configuration, the easily deformable portion 112a can be easily provided on the lateral extension portion 108a.
[0082] The base sheet 88a is provided with a groove 120, and the base connecting portion 122 is formed by the groove 120. With this configuration, the rigidity of the easily deformable portion 112a can be easily reduced.
[0083] The groove 120 is formed on the surface of the base sheet 88a facing the adhesive sheet 90. This configuration makes it easier to bend the lateral protrusion 108a in the direction opposite the adhesive surface 100 when attaching the attachment 18 to the housing 16. This makes it easier to attach the attachment 18 to the housing 16.
[0084] 11 , the adhesive member 20b has a base sheet 88b and an adhesive sheet 90. The base sheet 88b includes a first base portion 94a and a pair of second base portions 96.
[0085] The first base portion 94a is formed with a central sheet removing portion 130 that connects the pair of sheet removing portions 92 to each other. The central sheet removing portion 130 is located at a position corresponding to the first outer surface 61 of the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16. In the attachment member 20b, the base sheet 88b is not located at a position facing the first outer surface 61 of the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16. Therefore, the first outer surface 61 of the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16 is fixed to the attachment sheet 90.
[0086] The pair of sheet removing portions 92 extend further in the X1 direction than the central sheet removing portion 130. The adhesive member 20b has an adhesive main body 106a and a protruding portion 107. The adhesive main body 106a does not include a base sheet 88b but includes an adhesive sheet 90.
[0087] In this modification, the same configuration as the above-described attachment member 20a provides the same effects.
[0088] The adhesive body 106a does not include the base sheet 88b. With this configuration, the configuration of the adhesive member 20b can be further simplified.
[0089] In this modification, the attachment member 20 b may be provided with the groove portion 120 described above instead of the sheet removing portion 92 .
[0090] Next, a description will be given of an attachment member 20c according to a third modification. In this modification, the same components of the attachment member 20c as those of the attachment member 20b according to the second modification described above are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed descriptions thereof will be omitted.
[0091] 12, the attachment member 20c has a base sheet 88c and an attachment sheet 90. The base sheet 88c is provided with a sheet removal portion 132. The sheet removal portion 132 has a size and shape that allows the first outer surface 61 of the bottom wall portion 60 of the housing 16 to be placed thereon. The width dimension of the sheet removal portion 132 in the Y direction is wider than the width dimension of the housing 16 in the Y direction. The X1-direction end of the sheet removal portion 132 is located in the X2 direction further than the X1-direction end of the attachment member 20c.
[0092] The base sheet 88c includes a first base portion 94b and two second base portions 96. The first base portion 94b is located further in the X1 direction than the sheet removal portion 132. The first base portion 94b extends so as to connect the pair of second base portions 96 to each other. In other words, the base sheet 88c is not divided into multiple pieces but is a single continuous sheet.
[0093] The attachment member 20c has an attachment main body 106a and an overhanging portion 107b. The overhanging portion 107b includes a pair of lateral overhanging portions 108b and an intermediate overhanging portion 109. The lateral overhanging portion 108b includes an overhanging main body 110 and an easily deformable portion 112b. The easily deformable portion 112b does not include a base sheet 88c but includes an attachment sheet 90. The length of the easily deformable portion 112b along the X direction is shorter than the length of the lateral overhanging portion 108b along the X direction. The easily deformable portion 112b is not provided at the end of the lateral overhanging portion 108b in the X1 direction.
[0094] In this modification, the same configuration as the attachment member 20b described above provides the same effects.
[0095] The drug solution administration device 12 may include a release sheet 22a shown in FIG. 13 instead of the release sheet 22 described above. FIG. 13 is a plan view of the release sheet 22a as viewed from the opposite side (Z1 direction) from the housing 16. As shown in FIG. 13, the release sheet 22a is divided into two separate sheets 140a and 140b. A division line 142 of the release sheet 22a is located away from the first opening 70 and the second opening 72. The division line 142 is not connected to the outer peripheries of the first opening 70 and the second opening 72. The division line 142 is located offset in the X2 direction from the first opening 70 and the second opening 72. The division line 142 extends linearly along the Y direction. The separate sheet 140a is adjacent to the separate sheet 140b in the X1 direction.
[0096] The two separate sheets 140a and 140b have the same external size and shape, although the two separate sheets 140a and 140b may have different external sizes and shapes.
[0097] The two separate sheets 140a and 140b are provided with first gripping portions 102a and 102b, respectively. The first gripping portion 102a is provided at the end of the separate sheet 140a in the X1 direction. The first gripping portion 102b is provided at the end of the separate sheet 140b in the X2 direction.
[0098] The adhesive member 20 and the release sheet 22a are formed with a first opening 70 and a second opening 72 that penetrate the adhesive member 20 and the release sheet 22a in the thickness direction of the adhesive member 20. The release sheet 22a is divided into a plurality of divided sheets 140a, 140b by dividing lines 142. The dividing lines 142 are provided at positions away from the first opening 70 and the second opening 72 so as not to connect to the outer peripheries of the first opening 70 and the second opening 72. This configuration makes it possible to prevent the release sheet 22a from tearing when peeling it off from the attachment surface 100.
[0099] The release sheet 22a may be provided on the attachment surface 100 of the above-mentioned attachment members 20a to 20c. The division line 142 may extend in a curved line or in the X direction. The release sheet may be divided into three or more separate sheets by the division line.
[0100] The present invention is not limited to the above disclosure, and various configurations can be adopted without departing from the gist of the present invention.
