Description

Information processing method, information processing device, and program

[0001] The present technology relates to an information processing method, an information processing device, and a program, and in particular to an information processing method, an information processing device, and a program that can present a scan path of an aerial photography device desired by a user.

[0002] In recent years, aerial photography has become easy using unmanned aerial vehicles known as drones. One method for generating a drone's scanning path is to generate a scanning path that allows efficient movement based on information about a target area (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Another method for generating a drone's scanning path is to generate a scanning path that scans horizontally or a scanning path that scans vertically.

[0003] On the other hand, methods for generating an automatic driving scanning path for a work vehicle include a round-trip scanning path that repeatedly travels back and forth within a field, and a headland scanning path that travels along the outer perimeter shape of the field (see, for example, Patent Document 2).

[0004] International Publication No. 2020 / 090589 Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2022-048494

[0005] However, no method has been proposed for users to set priorities for conditions of the scanning path of an aerial photography device such as a drone, making it difficult to present the user's desired scanning path.

[0006] The present technology has been made in consideration of such circumstances, and makes it possible to present the scanning path of an aerial photography device that is desired by the user.

[0007] An information processing method according to one aspect of the present technology is an information processing method including: a shooting area related information acquisition step in which a shooting area related information acquisition unit acquires shooting area related information related to a desired shooting area of an aerial photography device; a condition acquisition step in which a condition acquisition unit acquires a priority of a condition of a scanning path of the aerial photography device; and a display control step in which a display control unit displays the scanning path on a display unit based on the shooting area related information acquired by processing in the shooting area related information acquisition step and the priority acquired by processing in the condition acquisition step.

[0008] An information processing device or program according to one aspect of the present technology is an information processing device or a program for causing a computer to function as an information processing device, comprising: a shooting area related information acquisition unit that acquires shooting area related information related to a desired shooting area of an aerial photography device; a condition acquisition unit that acquires the priority of conditions for a scanning path of the aerial photography device; and a display control unit that displays the scanning path on a display unit based on the shooting area related information acquired by the shooting area related information acquisition unit and the priority acquired by the condition acquisition unit.

[0009] In one aspect of the present technology, shooting area related information regarding a desired shooting area of an aerial photography device is obtained, a priority of conditions for a scanning path of the aerial photography device is obtained, and the scanning path is displayed on a display unit based on the shooting area related information and the priority.

[0010] The information processing device may be an independent device or a module incorporated into another device.

[0012] Hereinafter, modes for carrying out the present technology (hereinafter referred to as embodiments) will be described. The description will be made in the following order: 1. One embodiment 2. Computer

[0013] 1. One embodiment Configuration example of an information processing device FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a configuration example of an embodiment of an information processing device to which the present technology is applied.

[0014] 1 includes a photography area related information acquisition unit 11, a condition acquisition unit 12, a scanning information acquisition unit 13, a scanning path generation unit 14, a screen generation unit 15, a display control unit 16, and a display unit 17. The information processing device 10 generates and displays a scanning path for a drone, which is an aerial photography device that scans the air to capture images.

[0015] Specifically, the imaging area related information acquisition unit 11 acquires imaging area related information regarding a desired imaging area of the drone input by the user. The imaging area related information acquisition unit 11 generates an imaging area based on the imaging area related information and supplies it to the screen generation unit 15. The imaging area related information acquisition unit 11 also supplies the imaging area to the scanning path generation unit 14 as necessary.

[0016] The condition acquisition unit 12 acquires the priority of the scanning path conditions, which are various conditions for the drone's scanning path, input by the user, and supplies them to the scanning path generation unit 14.

[0017] The scanning information acquisition unit 13 acquires scanning information input by the user, including a scanning altitude indicating the height of the drone at the time of scanning and a photographing angle of view, and supplies the acquired information to the scanning path generation unit 14. Note that the scanning altitude and the photographing angle of view may be determined in advance rather than being input by the user. The reference position of the scanning altitude can be set to any position. For example, the scanning altitude can represent the height from the ground surface (ground) or sea level at which the drone flies.

[0018] The scanning path generation unit 14 generates various scanning paths for the drone based on the shooting area supplied from the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 and the scanning information supplied from the scanning information acquisition unit 13. The scanning path generation unit 14 selects an optimal scanning path from the generated scanning paths based on the priority supplied from the condition acquisition unit 12, and supplies the optimal scanning path to the screen generation unit 15 as the user's desired scanning path.

[0019] The screen generation unit 15 generates various screens as a user interface in response to inputs from the user, etc. For example, the screen generation unit 15 generates an imaging area related information input screen for inputting imaging area related information, a priority input screen for inputting priorities of various scanning path conditions, a scanning information input screen for inputting scanning information, etc. The screen generation unit 15 generates an imaging area input screen for inputting an imaging area, etc., based on the imaging area supplied from the imaging area related information acquisition unit 11. The screen generation unit 15 generates a scanning path screen representing the scanning path, based on the scanning path supplied from the scanning path generation unit 14. The screen generation unit 15 supplies the generated various screens to the display control unit 16.

[0020] The display control unit 16 controls the display unit 17 and causes the display unit 17 to display various screens supplied from the screen generation unit 15. The display unit 17 is configured with a display, a touch panel, etc. The user performs operations on the various screens displayed on the display unit 17 by touch operation or by using an input unit such as a keyboard, mouse, or operation buttons (not shown).

[0021] The components constituting the information processing device 10 may be provided in one device or in multiple devices. For example, some components constituting the information processing device 10 may be provided in a drone, and other components may be provided in a control device that controls the drone.

[0022] Some of the functions of the components constituting the information processing device 10 may be provided in the drone, and other functions may be provided in the control device that controls the drone. For example, some of the various screens displayed on the display unit 17 may be displayed on a display unit provided in the drone, and other screens may be displayed on a display unit provided in the control device.

[0023] <Example of Mode Selection Screen> FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an example of a mode selection screen for selecting an input mode for photographic area related information, which is generated by the screen generation unit 15 of FIG.

[0024] The mode selection screen 30 in FIG. 2 includes a photographing area display section 31, a photographing area input mode button 32, a photographing information input mode button 33, and a scanning information setting button .

[0025] An aerial photograph of an area including the user's desired shooting area is displayed on the shooting area display section 31. Note that the shooting area display section 31 may also display a map of the area including the user's desired shooting area.

[0026] The photographing area input mode button 32 is operated by the user when selecting a photographing area input mode in which the user's desired photographing area itself is input as photographing area related information as an input mode for photographing area related information.

[0027] The shooting information input mode button 33 is operated by the user when selecting a shooting information input mode in which the user's desired shooting path, shooting range angle, and shooting altitude are input as shooting area-related information as an input mode for shooting area-related information. The shooting range angle is the horizontal and vertical angles that represent the user's desired shooting range relative to the drone at each point on the shooting path. The shooting altitude is the user's desired height of the drone from the ground when taking a photo.

[0028] The shooting range angle input in the shooting information input mode may be information other than the shooting range angle as long as it represents the user's desired shooting range. The shooting range angle may be predetermined depending on the type of drone. In this case, the user inputs only the shooting path and shooting altitude.

[0029] The scanning information setting button 34 is operated by the user when displaying the scanning information input screen.

[0030] <Example of Shooting Area Related Information Input Screen in Shooting Area Input Mode> FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of a shooting area related information input screen that is displayed when the user selects the shooting area input mode button 32 on the mode selection screen 30 in FIG.

[0031] In the photographing area related information input screen 50 in Fig. 3, the same reference numerals are used to designate parts corresponding to the mode selection screen 30 in Fig. 2. Therefore, the description of those parts will be omitted as appropriate, and the description will focus on the parts that are different from the mode selection screen 30.

[0032] 3 includes a photography area display section 31 and a set button 51. The user specifies the vertices of a desired polygonal photography area on the aerial photograph displayed in the photography area display section 31 on the photography area related information input screen 50. As a result, photography area information 52 representing the photography area is superimposed on the aerial photograph. When the user inputs the photography area represented by the photography area information 52 as photography area related information, the user operates the set button 51. As a result, the photography area related information acquisition section 11 acquires the photography area represented by the photography area information 52 as photography area related information and generates this photography area.

[0033] <Example of Shooting Area Related Information Input Screen in Shooting Information Input Mode> FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an example of a shooting area related information input screen that is displayed when the user selects the shooting information input mode button 33 on the mode selection screen 30 in FIG.

[0034] In the photographing area related information input screen 70 in Fig. 4, the same reference numerals are used to designate parts corresponding to the mode selection screen 30 in Fig. 2. Therefore, the description of those parts will be omitted as appropriate, and the description will focus on the parts that are different from the mode selection screen 30.

[0035] 4 includes a photography area related information input screen 70 including a photography area display section 31, a photography range angle / photography altitude input section 71, and a generate button 72. The user specifies a desired photography route on the aerial photograph displayed in the photography area display section 31 on the photography area related information input screen 70. As a result, photography route information 73 representing this photography route is superimposed on the aerial photograph.

[0036] The user also inputs (specifies) the shooting range angle [deg] and shooting altitude [m] in the shooting range angle / shooting altitude input section 71. As a result, based on the shooting range angle and shooting altitude, shooting range information 74 indicating the shooting range of the shooting start point in the aerial photograph displayed in the shooting area display section 31 is superimposed on the aerial photograph.

[0037] When the user inputs the shooting range angle and shooting altitude input in the shooting range angle / shooting altitude input unit 71 and the shooting route indicated by the shooting route information 73 as shooting area related information, the user operates the generate button 72. As a result, the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 acquires the shooting range angle, shooting altitude, and shooting route as shooting area related information, and generates a shooting area based on the shooting area related information.

[0038] <Example of Generation of Shooting Area> FIG. 5 is a top view illustrating an example of generation of a shooting area based on shooting area related information by the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 in the shooting information input mode.

[0039] 5, the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 obtains a shooting area 93 at a shooting altitude of a shooting start point 92 of a shooting path 91 based on the shooting range angle and shooting altitude in the shooting area related information of the drone 90. The shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 obtains the distance r between the center of the drone 90 and the position in the shooting range 93 farthest from the center, i.e., ½ the length of the diagonal of the shooting range 93.

[0040] Then, as shown on the right side of Figure 5, the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 generates, as the shooting area 95, a circumscribing circle 94 of the shooting range 93 whose radius is the distance r at each point on the shooting path 91, i.e., the smallest area that includes the trajectory of the circumscribing circle 94 whose center moves on the shooting path 91.

[0041] <Example of Shooting Area Input Screen in Shooting Information Input Mode> FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of a shooting area input screen that is displayed when the user selects the generate button 72 on the shooting area related information input screen 70 in FIG.

[0042] In the photographing area input screen 110 in Fig. 6, the same reference numerals are used to denote portions corresponding to the photographing area related information input screen 50 in Fig. 3. Therefore, the description of those portions will be omitted as appropriate, and the description will focus on portions that are different from the photographing area related information input screen 50.

[0043] 6 differs from the shooting area related information input screen 50 in that the shooting area information 52 is replaced with shooting area information 111 representing the shooting area generated by the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11. The rest of the configuration is the same as that of the shooting area related information input screen 50.

[0044] <Example of Scanning Information Input Screen> FIG. 7 is a diagram showing an example of a scanning information input screen that is displayed when the scanning information setting button 34 is operated on the mode selection screen 30 of FIG.

[0045] 7, the scanning altitude [m] and the imaging angle of view [deg] can be input. The scanning altitude [m] and the imaging angle of view [deg] input by the user on the scanning information input screen 130 are acquired by the scanning information acquisition unit 13 as scanning information.

[0046] <Example of Generation of Scanning Path> FIG. 8 is a diagram for explaining an example of generation of scanning paths by the scanning path generation unit 14 of FIG.

[0047] In Fig. 8, the same reference numerals are used to designate parts corresponding to those in Fig. 5. Therefore, the description of those parts will be omitted as appropriate, and the following description will focus on the parts that are different from those in Fig. 5.

[0048] 8A and 8C are views of the drone 90 as seen from above, and FIG. 8B and 8D are views of the drone 90 as seen from the side.

[0049] When inputting information related to the shooting area in the shooting information input mode, the user inputs the shooting path 91 of the drone 90 shown in A and B of Figures 8A and 8B, the shooting altitude 152 which is the height from the ground 151, and the shooting range angle 153. Note that the shooting range angle 153 is made up of a horizontal angle 153a and a vertical angle 153b. The shape of the ground 151 is unknown.

[0050] As described in Figure 5, the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 calculates the shooting area 93 based on the shooting altitude 152 and the shooting range angle 153, and generates the shooting area 95 shown in Figure 8C based on the distance r of the shooting range 93.

[0051] The user also inputs, as scanning information, a shooting angle of view 161 shown in C and D of Fig. 8 and a scanning altitude 162 shown in D of Fig. 8 on the scanning information input screen 130. Based on this scanning information and the shooting area 95, the scanning path generation unit 14 generates a scanning path 163 according to a predetermined algorithm so that the scanning area, which is the area that the drone 90 actually scans and photographs, includes the shooting area 95.

[0052] <Example of Scanning Path> FIG. 9 is a diagram showing an example of the scanning path 163. As shown in FIG.

[0053] In FIG. 9, parts corresponding to those in FIG. 8 are given the same reference numerals.

[0054] 9 , the scan path generation unit 14 sets, as the scan area, the smallest area of various shapes that includes (encapsulates) the imaging area 95. For example, the scan path generation unit 14 sets an elliptical or circular scan area 181, a rectangular scan area 182, a pentagonal scan area 183, a hexagonal scan area 184, a heptagonal scan area 185, an octagonal scan area 186, etc.

[0055] The scan path generation unit 14 also generates various scan paths based on the scan areas 181 to 186. For example, the scan path generation unit 14 generates, as the scan path 163, a spiral path 191 that circles the scan area 181 from the circumference toward the center.

[0056] The scanning path generation unit 14 generates, as the scanning path 163, an up-down zigzag path 192 that moves up and down in a zigzag pattern from the left side to the right side of the scanning area 181, and a left-right zigzag path 193 that moves left and right in a zigzag pattern from the top side to the bottom side. The scanning path generation unit 14 generates, as the scanning path 163, a path 194 that moves in a zigzag pattern between the center and the circumference of the scanning area 181.

[0057] Similarly, the scan path generation unit 14 generates a spiral path 201, a vertical zigzag path 202, and a horizontal zigzag path 203 as the scan path 163 based on the scan area 182. Similarly, the scan path generation unit 14 generates various scan paths for the scan areas 183 to 186.

[0058] <Explanation of Advantages of Elliptical or Circular Scanning Region> FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating advantages of the elliptical or circular scanning region 181 in FIG.

[0059] When setting an elliptical or circular scanning area 181, the scanning path generation unit 14 can set the scanning area 181 for an arbitrary shape of the imaging area 95. That is, as shown in Fig. 10, the scanning area 181 can be set even if the shape of the imaging area 95 is complex.

[0060] <Details of Scanning Path> FIG. 11 is a diagram illustrating the details of the spiral path 191, and FIG. 12 is a diagram illustrating the details of the vertical zigzag path 202.

[0061] 11 , when the scanning path generating unit 14 generates a spiral path 191 as the scanning path 163, the path width 211, which is the distance between two paths 191 that are adjacent in the radial direction, is determined based on the imaging angle of view 161. For example, the path width 211 is determined so that the imaging angle of view 161 at each point on the path 191 overlaps the imaging angle of view 161 at other points to a minimum.

[0062] 12 , when the scanning path generating unit 14 generates a vertical zigzag path 202 as the scanning path 163, the path width 212 between two paths 202 adjacent to each other in the horizontal direction (left-right direction) is determined based on the imaging field of view 161. For example, the path width 212 is determined so that the imaging field of view 161 at each point on the path 202 overlaps the imaging field of view 161 at other points to a minimum.

[0063] Although not shown, the route width of the vertical zigzag route 192 and the horizontal zigzag route 193 (203) is also determined based on the photographing angle of view 161 in the same manner.

[0064] <First Example of Priority Input Screen> FIG. 13 is a diagram showing an example of a priority input screen that is displayed when the user operates the setting button 51. As shown in FIG.

[0065] In the priority input screen 230 in Fig. 13, the same reference numerals are used to denote portions corresponding to the mode selection screen 30 in Fig. 2 and the shooting area input screen 110 in Fig. 6. Therefore, the description of those portions will be omitted as appropriate, and the description will focus on portions that differ from the mode selection screen 30 and the shooting area input screen 110.

[0066] The priority input screen 230 in FIG. 13 includes a photography area display section 31 that displays an aerial photograph on which the photography area information 111 is superimposed, a scanning information setting button 34 , a priority input section 231 , and a generate button 232 .

[0067] A request line 241 is displayed at the top of the priority input section 231, and a non-request line 242 is displayed at the bottom. The priority input section 231 also displays scanning path condition information that indicates scanning path conditions.

[0068] Specifically, in the example of Figure 13, between the required line 241 and the non-required line 242, scanning path condition information is displayed in order from top to bottom, including shortest scanning time information 251, shortest scanning path information 252, maximum cover ratio information 253, and minimum overflow ratio information 254.

[0069] The shortest scanning time information 251 represents a shortest scanning time condition, which is a scanning path condition that the scanning time is the shortest, and the shortest scanning path information 252 represents a shortest scanning path condition, which is a scanning path condition that the distance of the scanning path is the shortest. The maximum coverage ratio information 253 represents a maximum coverage ratio condition, which is a condition that the ratio of the scanned area in the imaging area represented by the imaging area information 111 is the largest. The minimum protrusion ratio information 254 represents a minimum protrusion ratio condition, which is a condition that the ratio of the area other than the imaging area represented by the imaging area information 111 in the scanning area is the smallest.

[0070] The user inputs the priority of each scanning path condition by arranging the scanning path condition information from top to bottom in order of the scanning path condition with the highest priority, based on the purpose of the images captured by the drone 90 in the application, etc.

[0071] Specifically, the user arranges, from among the scanning path condition information, information representing scanning path conditions that must be met when determining a desired scanning path, in descending order of priority, on a request line 241. The user arranges, from among the scanning path condition information, information representing scanning path conditions that do not need to be met when determining a desired scanning path, in descending order of priority, below a non-request line 242.

[0072] The user arranges, between the request line 241 and the non-request line 242, the scanning path condition information that indicates scanning path conditions that should be satisfied when determining a desired scanning path but do not necessarily need to be satisfied, in descending order of priority.

[0073] As described above, the user inputs the priority of each scanning path condition by arranging the scanning path condition information in the priority input section 231 in descending order of priority.

[0074] The generate button 232 is operated by the user when inputting the priority of each scanning path condition input in the priority input unit 231 and generating a scanning path based on the priority. When the generate button 232 is operated by the user, the condition acquisition unit 12 acquires the priority of each scanning path condition input in the priority input unit 231 by the user.

[0075] <Second Example of Priority Input Screen> FIG. 14 is a diagram showing a first example of a priority input screen when the arrangement of the scanning path condition information is changed in the priority input section 231 of FIG.

[0076] In the priority input screen 270 of Fig. 14, the same reference numerals are used to designate parts that correspond to the priority input screen 230 of Fig. 13. Therefore, the description of those parts will be omitted as appropriate, and the description will focus on the parts that are different from the priority input screen 230.

[0077] 14 , the shooting area is an area where there are no flight restrictions for the drone 90, but there are restrictions on the scanning time of the drone 90. Therefore, when determining the user's desired scanning path, the scanning path condition that must be met is the shortest scanning time condition, and the scanning path condition that does not need to be met is the minimum protrusion ratio condition. Therefore, the user places the shortest scanning time information 251 above the required line 241 and the minimum protrusion ratio information 254 below the non-required line 242.

[0078] 14, the priority of scanning path conditions that should be satisfied when determining a desired scanning path but do not necessarily need to be satisfied is, in descending order of priority, the shortest scanning path condition, followed by the maximum coverage ratio condition. Therefore, the user arranges, from top to bottom, shortest scanning path information 252 and maximum coverage ratio information 253 between the requested line 241 and the non-requested line 242.

[0079] 14, the highest priority of the scanning path condition that must be met is input as the priority of the shortest scanning time condition. The second highest priority of the scanning path condition that should be met but does not absolutely need to be met is input as the priority of the shortest scanning path condition. The third highest priority of the scanning path condition that should be met but does not absolutely need to be met is input as the priority of the maximum cover ratio condition. The fourth highest priority of the scanning path condition that does not absolutely need to be met is input as the priority of the minimum protrusion ratio condition.

[0080] Therefore, for each generated scan path, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the scan time corresponding to that scan path based on the speed of the drone 90, and selects the scan path with the shortest scan time. Note that if there are multiple scan paths with the shortest scan times, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the distance of the scan path and selects the scan path with the shortest distance. If there are multiple scan paths with the shortest scan distance, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the proportion of the scan area corresponding to that scan path in the shooting area, and selects the scan path with the largest proportion. If there are multiple scan paths with the largest proportion, the scan path generation unit 14 selects any scan path from among those scan paths.

[0081] <First Example of Scanning Path Screen> FIG. 15 is a diagram showing an example of a scanning path screen that is displayed when the user operates the generate button 232 on the priority input screen 270 of FIG.

[0082] In the scanning path screen 290 in Fig. 15, the same reference numerals are used to designate the portions corresponding to those in the priority input screen 270 in Fig. 14. Therefore, the description of those portions will be omitted as appropriate, and the description will focus on the portions that are different from the priority input screen 270.

[0083] 15 includes a photography area display section 31. In addition to photography area information 111, scanning area information 291 indicating the scanning area and scanning path information 292 indicating the scanning path are superimposed on the aerial photograph displayed in photography area display section 31 of scanning path screen 290. This scanning area information 291 indicates the scanning area corresponding to the scanning path selected by scanning path generation unit 14 based on the priority of each scanning path condition input in priority input unit 231, and scanning path information 292 is information indicating that scanning path.

[0084] In the example of Fig. 15, the scan path condition that must be met absolutely when determining the user's desired scan path is the shortest scan time condition. Therefore, in the example of Fig. 15, a spiral scan path is selected that does not require direction changes that would cause a decrease in the speed of the drone 90. As a result, the scan area information 291 represents, for example, an elliptical or circular scan area, and the scan path information 292 represents a spiral scan path.

[0085] The scanning path screen 290 also includes a flight button 293. The flight button 293 is operated by the user when causing the drone 90 to scan and capture images along the scanning path represented by the scanning path information 292.

[0086] <Third Example of Priority Input Screen> FIG. 16 is a diagram showing a second example of the priority input screen when the arrangement of the scanning path condition information is changed on the priority input screen 230 of FIG.

[0087] In the priority input screen 310 of Fig. 16, the same reference numerals are used to denote parts corresponding to those in the priority input screen 230 of Fig. 13. Therefore, the description of those parts will be omitted as appropriate, and the description will focus on the parts that are different from the priority input screen 230.

[0088] 16 , the shooting area is an area where flight restrictions for the drone 90 are in place, such as a public place, and the shooting area is set within an area where flight of the drone 90 is permitted. Therefore, the minimum protrusion ratio condition is a scanning path condition that must be met absolutely when determining the user's desired scanning path. Therefore, the user places minimum protrusion ratio information 254 on the request line 241.

[0089] 16, there are no scan path conditions that need not be satisfied when determining the desired scan path, and therefore the user does not place any scan path condition information below the non-required line 242.

[0090] 16, the priority of scanning path conditions that should be satisfied when determining a desired scanning path but do not necessarily need to be satisfied is, in descending order of priority, the shortest scanning path condition, the maximum coverage ratio condition, and the shortest scanning time condition. Therefore, the user arranges, from top to bottom, shortest scanning path information 252, maximum coverage ratio information 253, and shortest scanning time information 251 between the requested line 241 and the non-requested line 242.

[0091] 16, the highest priority of the scanning path condition that must be met is input as the priority of the minimum overhang ratio condition. The second highest priority of the scanning path condition that should be met but does not absolutely need to be met is input as the priority of the shortest scanning path condition. The third highest priority of the scanning path condition that should be met but does not absolutely need to be met is input as the priority of the maximum cover ratio condition. The fourth highest priority of the scanning path condition that should be met but does not absolutely need to be met is input as the priority of the shortest scanning time condition.

[0092] Therefore, for each generated scan path, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the proportion of the area outside the captured area in the scan area corresponding to that scan path, and selects the scan path with the smallest proportion. If there are multiple scan paths with the smallest proportion, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the distance of the scan path and selects the scan path with the shortest distance. If there are multiple scan paths with the shortest scan distance, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the proportion of the scanned area in the captured area corresponding to that scan path, and selects the scan path with the largest proportion. If there are multiple scan paths with the largest proportion, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the scan time corresponding to that scan path based on the speed of the drone 90, and selects the scan path with the shortest scan time. If there are multiple scan paths with the shortest scan time, the scan path generation unit 14 selects any scan path from among those scan paths.

[0093] <Second Example of Scanning Path Screen> FIG. 17 is a diagram showing an example of a scanning path screen that is displayed when the user operates the generate button 232 on the priority input screen 310 of FIG.

[0094] In the scanning path screen 330 of Fig. 17, the same reference numerals are used to denote portions corresponding to the scanning path screen 290 of Fig. 15. Therefore, the description of those portions will be omitted as appropriate, and the following description will focus on portions that are different from the scanning path screen 290.

[0095] The scanning path screen 330 in Figure 17 differs from the scanning path screen 290 in that the scanning area information 291 and the scanning path information 292 are replaced by scanning area information 331 and scanning path information 332, respectively, but is otherwise configured in the same way as the scanning path screen 290.

[0096] In the example of Fig. 17, the scanning path condition that must be met absolutely when determining the user's desired scanning path is the minimum protrusion ratio condition. Therefore, in the example of Fig. 17, a scanning path corresponding to a scanning area that is set to be the same as the imaging area is selected. As a result, the scanning area information 331 is the same as the imaging area information 111, and the scanning path information 332 represents a scanning path that does not protrude from the imaging area represented by the imaging area information 111.

[0097] <Fourth Example of Priority Input Screen> FIG. 18 is a diagram showing a third example of the priority input screen when the arrangement of the scanning path condition information is changed on the priority input screen 230 of FIG.

[0098] In the priority input screen 350 of Fig. 18, the same reference numerals are used to denote parts corresponding to those in the priority input screen 230 of Fig. 13. Therefore, the description of those parts will be omitted as appropriate, and the description will focus on the parts that are different from the priority input screen 230.

[0099] In the example of Fig. 18, the scanning path condition that must be met absolutely when determining the user's desired scanning path is the shortest scanning path. Therefore, the user places shortest scanning path information 252 above the required line 241. In the example of Fig. 18, there are no scanning path conditions that do not need to be met when determining the desired scanning path. Therefore, no scanning path condition information is placed below the non-required line 242.

[0100] 18, the scanning path conditions that should be satisfied when determining the desired scanning path but do not necessarily have to be satisfied are, in descending order of priority, the shortest scanning time condition, the maximum coverage ratio condition, and the minimum protrusion ratio condition. Therefore, the user arranges, from top to bottom, shortest scanning time information 251, maximum coverage ratio information 253, and minimum protrusion ratio information 254 between the requested line 241 and the non-requested line 242.

[0101] 18, the highest priority of the scanning path condition that must be met is input as the priority of the shortest scanning path condition. The second highest priority of the scanning path condition that should be met but does not absolutely have to be met is input as the priority of the shortest scanning time condition. The third highest priority of the scanning path condition that should be met but does not absolutely have to be met is input as the priority of the maximum cover ratio condition. The fourth highest priority of the scanning path condition that should be met but does not absolutely have to be met is input as the priority of the minimum protrusion ratio condition.

[0102] Therefore, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the distance of each generated scan path and selects the scan path with the shortest distance. Note that if there are multiple scan paths with the shortest scan distance, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the scan time corresponding to each scan path based on the speed of the drone 90 and selects the scan path with the shortest scan time. If there are multiple scan paths with the shortest scan time, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the proportion of the scan area corresponding to each scan path in the captured area and selects the scan path with the largest proportion. If there are multiple scan paths with the largest proportion, the scan path generation unit 14 calculates the proportion of the area outside the captured area in the scan area corresponding to each scan path and selects the scan path with the smallest proportion. If there are multiple scan paths with the smallest proportion, the scan path generation unit 14 selects any scan path from among the scan paths.

[0103] <Third Example of Scanning Path Screen> FIG. 19 is a diagram showing a first example of a scanning path screen that is displayed when the user operates the generate button 232 on the priority input screen 350 of FIG.

[0104] In the scanning path screen 370 of Fig. 19, the same reference numerals are used to denote portions corresponding to the scanning path screen 290 of Fig. 15. Therefore, the description of those portions will be omitted as appropriate, and the following description will focus on portions that are different from the scanning path screen 290.

[0105] The scanning path screen 370 in Figure 19 differs from the scanning path screen 290 in that the scanning area information 291 and the scanning path information 292 are replaced by scanning area information 371 and scanning path information 372, respectively, but is otherwise configured in the same way as the scanning path screen 290.

[0106] In the example of Fig. 19, the scanning path condition that must be met absolutely when determining the user's desired scanning path is the shortest scanning path condition. Therefore, in the example of Fig. 19, a zigzag scanning path corresponding to a rectangular scanning area is selected. As a result, scanning area information 371 represents the rectangular scanning area, and scanning path information 372 represents the zigzag scanning path.

[0107] <Fourth Example of Scanning Path Screen> FIG. 20 is a diagram showing a second example of the scanning path screen displayed when the user operates the generate button 232 on the priority input screen 350 of FIG.

[0108] In the scanning path screen 390 in Fig. 20, the same reference numerals are used to designate parts that correspond to the scanning path screen 370 in Fig. 19. Therefore, the description of those parts will be omitted as appropriate, and the following description will focus on the parts that are different from the scanning path screen 370.

[0109] The scanning path screen 390 in FIG. 20 differs from the scanning path screen 370 in that the scanning path information 372 is replaced with scanning path information 392, but otherwise has the same configuration as the scanning path screen 370.

[0110] In the example of Fig. 20, the scanning height is twice the scanning height in the example of Fig. 19, and the imaging angle of view is the same as the imaging angle of view in the example of Fig. 19. Therefore, the path width W2 between the information representing two paths adjacent in the vertical direction (up and down direction) in the scanning path information 392 is 1 / 2 of the path width W1 between the information representing two paths adjacent in the vertical direction in the scanning path information 372 of Fig. 19.

[0111] Although not shown in the figure, for example, if the shooting area is an area where there are no flight restrictions on the drone 90 and no limit on the scanning time, the user places, for example, the maximum coverage ratio information 253 on the request line 241. As a result, the highest priority of the scanning path condition that must be met absolutely is input as the priority of the maximum coverage ratio condition.

[0112] 21 and 22 are flowcharts illustrating the scan path generation process for determining a scan path by the information processing device 10. This scan path generation process is started, for example, when a user issues an instruction to generate a scan path for the drone 90.

[0113] In step S11 of FIG. 21, the display control unit 16 causes the display unit 17 to display the mode selection screen 30 generated by the screen generation unit 15.

[0114] In step S12, the screen generation unit 15 determines whether or not the user has operated the shooting area input mode button 32 on the mode selection screen 30 displayed by the processing in step S11. If it is determined in step S12 that the shooting area input mode button 32 has been operated, the screen generation unit 15 generates the shooting area related information input screen 50 of FIG. 3 on which the shooting area information 52 has not yet been superimposed, supplies it to the display control unit 16, and proceeds to the processing in step S13.

[0115] In step S13, the display control unit 16 causes the display unit 17 to display the shooting area related information input screen 50 supplied from the screen generation unit 15. At this time, the user specifies the vertices of the desired shooting area on the aerial photograph displayed in the shooting area display section 31 of the shooting area related information input screen 50.

[0116] In step S14, the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 acquires the shooting area specified by the user on the shooting area related information input screen 50 displayed by the processing of step S13 as shooting area related information, and supplies the shooting area to the screen generation unit 15. The screen generation unit 15 generates the shooting area related information input screen 50 in which shooting area information 52 representing the shooting area is superimposed on the aerial photograph as the updated shooting area related information input screen 50, and supplies the updated shooting area related information input screen 50 to the display control unit 16.

[0117] In step S15, the display control unit 16 updates the photographing area related information input screen 50 by displaying the photographing area related information input screen 50 on the display unit 17. Then, the process proceeds to step S21 in FIG.

[0118] On the other hand, if it is determined in step S12 that the photographing area input mode button 32 has not been operated, the process proceeds to step S16.

[0119] In step S16, the screen generation unit 15 determines whether or not the user has operated the shooting information input mode button 33 on the mode selection screen 30 displayed by the processing in step S11. If it is determined in step S16 that the shooting information input mode button 33 has been operated, the screen generation unit 15 generates the shooting area related information input screen 70 of FIG. 4 on which the shooting path information 73 and the shooting range information 74 have not yet been superimposed, and supplies the generated screen to the display control unit 16. Then, the processing proceeds to step S17.

[0120] In step S17, the display control unit 16 causes the display unit 17 to display the shooting area related information input screen 70 supplied from the screen generation unit 15. At this time, the user specifies a desired shooting route on the aerial photograph displayed in the shooting area display unit 31 of the shooting area related information input screen 70, and specifies the shooting range angle [deg] and shooting altitude [m] in the shooting range angle / shooting altitude input unit 71.

[0121] In step S18, the photographing area related information acquisition unit 11 determines whether or not the generation button 72 has been operated. If it is determined in step S18 that the generation button 72 has not been operated, the photographing area related information acquisition unit 11 waits until the generation button 72 is operated.

[0122] On the other hand, if it is determined in step S18 that the generate button 72 has been operated, the process proceeds to step S19.

[0123] In step S19, the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 acquires, as shooting area related information, the shooting range angle, shooting altitude, and shooting path specified by the user on the shooting area related information input screen 70 displayed by the processing of step S17. Then, the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 generates a shooting area based on the shooting area related information and supplies it to the screen generation unit 15. The screen generation unit 15 generates the shooting area input screen 110 of FIG. 6 based on the shooting area and supplies it to the display control unit 16.

[0124] In step S20, the display control unit 16 causes the display unit 17 to display the shooting area input screen 110 supplied from the screen generation unit 15, and the process proceeds to step S21 in FIG.

[0125] 22, the photographing area related information acquisition unit 11 determines whether or not the setting button 51 has been operated. If it is determined in step S21 that the setting button 51 has not yet been operated, the photographing area related information acquisition unit 11 waits until the setting button 51 is operated.

[0126] If it is determined in step S21 that the setting button 51 has been operated, the imaging area related information acquisition unit 11 supplies the imaging area to the scanning path generation unit 14. In addition, the screen generation unit 15 generates the priority input screen 230 of FIG. 13 and supplies it to the display control unit 16.

[0127] In step S22, the display control unit 16 causes the display unit 17 to display the priority input screen 230 supplied from the screen generation unit 15. At this time, the user changes the arrangement of each piece of scanning path condition information in the priority input section 231 of the priority input screen 230 based on the desired priority of the scanning path condition represented by that scanning path condition information. Alternatively, the user operates the scanning information setting button 34.

[0128] In step S23, the screen generator 15 determines whether or not the user has operated the scanning information setting button 34 on the priority input screen 230 displayed by the process of step S22. If it is determined in step S23 that the scanning information setting button 34 has not been operated, the process proceeds to step S24.

[0129] In step S24, the screen generation unit 15 determines whether or not the arrangement of the scanning path condition information has been changed in the priority input section 231 of the priority input screen 230 displayed by the processing in step S22. If it is determined in step S24 that the arrangement of the scanning path condition information has been changed, the screen generation unit 15 updates the priority input screen based on the changed arrangement and supplies the updated priority input screen to the display control unit 16.

[0130] Then, in step S25, the display control unit 16 updates the priority input screen displayed on the display unit 17 based on the priority input screen supplied from the display control unit 16, and the process proceeds to step S26.

[0131] On the other hand, if it is determined in step S24 that the arrangement of the scanning path condition information has not been changed, the process proceeds to step S26.

[0132] In step S26, the condition obtaining unit 12 determines whether or not the user has operated the generate button 232 on the priority input screen. If it is determined in step S26 that the generate button 232 has been operated, the process proceeds to step S27.

[0133] In step S27, the condition acquisition unit 12 acquires the priority of each scanning path condition based on the arrangement of each piece of scanning path condition information on the currently displayed priority input screen, and supplies the priority to the scanning path generation unit 14.

[0134] In step S28, the scan path generation unit 14 generates various scan paths based on the imaging area and the scan information, and selects one scan path from among the generated scan paths based on the priority of each scan path condition. The scan information used at this time is acquired, for example, in step S32 described below or step S36 in FIG. 21 , but if the user does not input scan information, default scan information is used. The scan path generation unit 14 supplies the selected scan path to the screen generation unit 15. The screen generation unit 15 generates a scan path screen based on the scan path and supplies it to the display control unit 16.

[0135] In step S29, the display control unit 16 causes the display unit 17 to display the scanning path screen supplied from the screen generation unit 15, and ends the scanning path generation process.

[0136] On the other hand, if it is determined in step S23 that the scanning information setting button 34 has been operated, the screen generator 15 generates the scanning information input screen 130 shown in Fig. 7 and supplies it to the display controller 16, and the process proceeds to step S30. In step S30, the display controller 16 causes the display unit 17 to display the scanning information input screen 130 supplied from the screen generator 15.

[0137] In step S31, the scanning information acquisition unit 13 determines whether or not the user has input scanning information on the scanning information input screen 130. If it is determined in step S31 that the scanning information has not yet been input, the scanning information acquisition unit 13 waits until the scanning information is input.

[0138] On the other hand, if it is determined in step S31 that the scanning information has been input, the scanning information acquisition unit 13 acquires the scanning information and supplies it to the scanning path generation unit 14 in step S32.

[0139] If it is determined in step S26 that the generation button 232 has not been operated, or after the processing of step S32, the processing returns to step S23, and the subsequent processing is repeated.

[0140] On the other hand, if it is determined in step S16 of Fig. 21 that the shooting information input mode button 33 has not been operated, the process proceeds to step S33. The processes of steps S33 to S36 are the same as the processes of steps S23 and S30 to S32 of Fig. 22, and therefore a description thereof will be omitted.

[0141] If it is determined in step S33 that the scan information setting button 34 has not been operated, or after the processing of step S36, the processing returns to step S12, and the subsequent processing is repeated.

[0142] As described above, in the information processing device 10, the shooting area related information acquisition unit 11 acquires shooting area related information, the condition acquisition unit 12 acquires the priority of the scanning path conditions, and the display control unit 16 displays the scanning path based on the shooting area related information and the priority. Therefore, the information processing device 10 can present the scanning path of the drone 90 desired by the user.

[0143] The scanning information setting button 34 may be provided on only one of the mode selection screen 30 and the priority input screen 230 (270, 310, 350). The scanning information setting button 34 may be provided on a screen other than the mode selection screen 30 and the priority input screen 230 (270, 310, 350).

[0144] The priority of each scanning path condition does not necessarily indicate whether it must be met, but may simply indicate the order of priority. The scanning path conditions may be conditions other than the shortest scanning time condition, the shortest scanning path condition, the maximum coverage rate condition, and the minimum overflow rate condition. The number of scanning path conditions can be any number equal to or greater than one.
