Abstract
Description
Condom and its manufacturing method
[0001] The present invention relates to a condom and a method for manufacturing the same.
[0002] Conventionally, condoms have been known that have annular projections on the inner surface that come into contact with the penis to tighten the penis, and that have rubber magnets embedded in the projections to promote blood flow to the penis (Patent Document 1).
[0003] JP 2009-195684 A
[0004] The above-mentioned conventional condoms aim to prevent premature ejaculation by tightening the penis with the annular protrusions, and to cure ED (erectile dysfunction) by promoting blood flow to the penis with the magnetic field of the rubber magnet.
[0005] However, in the above-mentioned conventional condoms, the magnetic field of the rubber magnet, which is a component for promoting blood flow in the penis, acts only on a small part of the penis, so the part where blood flow is promoted is only a small part of the penis and the effect of promoting blood flow throughout the penis is not obtained.
[0006] The present invention provides a condom that can promote blood flow throughout the penis and a method for manufacturing the same.
[0007] The invention described in claim 1 is a condom characterized by being formed by laminating, in the thickness direction, a layer containing a blood flow promoting substance dispersed along the length direction and the circumferential direction and a layer not containing the blood flow promoting substance.
[0008] The condom described in claim 1 has layers containing a blood flow promoting substance dispersed along the length and circumference, and therefore when worn on the penis, it can promote blood flow throughout the penis.
[0009] The invention of claim 2 is the condom of claim 1, characterized in that the layer containing the dispersed blood flow-promoting substance and the layer not containing the blood flow-promoting substance are formed from natural rubber latex. Therefore, the condom of claim 2 has a layer made of natural rubber latex containing a blood flow-promoting substance and a layer made of natural rubber latex not containing a blood flow-promoting substance laminated in the thickness direction, thereby achieving the effect of promoting blood flow throughout the penis without compromising the strength and texture required of a condom.
[0010] The invention of claim 3 is the condom of claim 2, characterized in that it has an overall two-layer structure, in which the layer containing the dispersed blood flow-promoting substance is positioned on the inner side so as to come into contact with the penis when worn on the penis during use, and the layer not containing the blood flow-promoting substance is positioned on the outer side.
[0011] Therefore, in the condom of claim 3, the layer containing the dispersed blood flow promoting substance is positioned on the inner side so as to contact the penis when worn on the penis, and therefore, when worn, it is possible to exert a blood flow promoting effect on the penis directly and overall.
[0012] On the other hand, since the layer that does not contain the blood flow-promoting substance is positioned on the outer side, a soft feel can be ensured during use, making it possible to ensure the same usability as a regular condom.
[0013] Furthermore, the condom has a two-layer structure in the thickness direction, with the layer containing the dispersed blood flow-promoting substance being positioned on the inner side so as to come into contact with the penis when worn on the penis during use, and the layer not containing the blood flow-promoting substance being positioned on the outer side.As a result, even though the condom contains dispersed blood flow-promoting substances, it is possible to ensure that the condom as a whole has sufficient strength to withstand actual use.
[0014] In the invention of claim 4, the condom of claim 1 is characterized in that the blood flow promoting substance is a mineral-containing substance whose main component is silicon oxide. Therefore, the condom of claim 4 can exert a blood flow promoting effect on the penis using silicon oxide as a causative substance.
[0015] In the invention of claim 5, the condom of claim 3 is characterized in that the silicon oxide is contained in finely powdered charcoal powder.
[0016] According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a condom according to the third aspect, wherein the mineral-containing substance contains finely powdered radium.
[0017] The invention of claim 7 is a method for manufacturing a condom, comprising: a first dipping step of immersing a mold in liquid natural rubber latex; a first drying step of removing the mold from the natural rubber latex and then drying the natural rubber latex adhering to the mold to form a first layer of a condom; a second dipping step of immersing the mold with the first layer adhering to it in liquid natural rubber latex containing a blood flow-promoting substance that has been dispersed therein; a second drying step of removing the mold from the blood flow-promoting substance-containing natural rubber latex and then drying the blood flow-promoting substance-containing natural rubber latex adhering to the first layer to form a second layer of the condom; and a peeling step of peeling the condom, in which the first layer and the second layer are integrated, from the mold.
[0018] According to the condom manufacturing method of claim 7, it is possible to manufacture a condom comprising a layer (first layer) made only of natural rubber latex and a layer (second layer) made of natural rubber latex containing a blood flow-promoting substance uniformly dispersed therein, i.e., the condom of claim 1.
[0019] The invention of claim 8 is the method for manufacturing a condom of claim 7, in which the blood flow-promoting substance is a mineral-containing substance whose main component is silicon oxide. Therefore, with the condom of claim 8, it is possible to manufacture a condom that exhibits a blood flow-promoting effect to the penis using silicon oxide or the like as a causative substance, i.e., the condom of claim 4.
[0020] The invention of claim 9 is the condom of claim 7, characterized in that the silicon oxide is contained in charcoal powder.
[0021] The invention of claim 10 is the condom of claim 7, characterized in that the mineral-containing substance contains finely powdered radium.
[0022] The condom of the present invention can promote blood flow throughout the penis when worn. As a result, by using the condom of the present invention, it is possible to improve erectile dysfunction (ED) in a very natural way. Furthermore, the condom manufacturing method of the present invention can produce a condom that can promote blood flow throughout the penis.

[0024] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS A mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, taking as an example a condom made of natural rubber latex.
[0025] [Configuration] As shown in Figure 1, condom 10 according to this embodiment is made of natural rubber latex and has a two-layer structure in which a layer (first layer) 11 that does not contain the blood flow-promoting substance and a layer (second layer) 12 that contains the blood flow-promoting substance dispersed along the length and circumference are laminated in the thickness direction.
[0026] In the condom 10 according to this embodiment, the layer (second layer) 12 containing the dispersed blood flow-promoting substance is arranged on the inner side so as to contact the penis 13 when worn on the penis 13 during use, while the layer (first layer) 11 not containing the blood flow-promoting substance is arranged on the outer side. Therefore, in the condom 10 according to this embodiment, the layer (second layer) 12 containing the dispersed blood flow-promoting substance is arranged on the inner side so as to contact the penis 13 when worn on the penis 13, and therefore, when worn, it is possible to exert a blood flow-promoting effect directly and entirely on the penis 13.
[0027] On the other hand, since the layer (first layer) 11 that does not contain the blood flow promoting substance is arranged on the outer side, a soft feel can be ensured during use, and it is possible to ensure a feeling of use similar to that of a regular condom.
[0028] Furthermore, the condom 10 has a two-layer structure in which the layer (second layer) 12 containing the dispersed blood flow-promoting substance is positioned on the inner side so as to contact the penis 13 when the condom is worn on the penis 13 during use, and the layer (first layer) 11 not containing the blood flow-promoting substance is positioned on the outer side, so that the condom 10 as a whole can be strong enough to withstand actual use, even though it contains dispersed blood flow-promoting substances. In this embodiment, SPAORE (registered trademark) is used as the blood flow-promoting substance.
[0029] SPAORE (registered trademark) is a mineral-containing substance containing 1% by weight of finely powdered radium and 3 to 100% by weight of finely powdered carbon powder (carbon powder containing silicon), and further containing at least one of finely powdered germanium and finely powdered copper.
[0030] Here, the charcoal powder is obtained by carbonizing natural plant materials. For example, the charcoal powder may be obtained by pulverizing rice husk charcoal into a fine powder. The finely powdered charcoal powder used in the present invention can be a finely powdered carbon-containing substance. It can be a crystalline substance such as graphite, graphite, or graphite, or so-called charcoal made by burning amorphous plant materials. In the case of charcoal, any carbon-containing material can be used, including wood charcoal, bamboo charcoal, coconut shells, coal, activated charcoal made from charcoal, etc. When using charcoal, it can be charcoal that has been burned and turned into a fine powder, or it can be commercially available charcoal under various names such as powdered charcoal (powdered charcoal), charcoal dust, charcoal fine powder, powdered charcoal, or charcoal powder.
[0031] The powdered crystalline carbon may be mixed with a powdered silicon compound, or carbon powder made from carbonized natural plant materials may be used since it contains plant-derived silicon. Silicon compounds that can be used include a wide variety of silicon-containing compounds, such as silica (silicon dioxide), synthetic amorphous silica (silicon dioxide), aluminum silicate, magnesium silicate, calcium silicate, zirconium silicate, silicon carbide, and diatomaceous earth. Carbonized natural plant materials may include inexpensive, widely available rice husk charcoal and other charcoal, or charcoal or charcoal made by burning plant materials such as wood, bamboo, and rice husks.
[0032] When making charcoal or smoked charcoal by firing plant materials yourself, it is preferable to use plant materials that have been fired at high temperatures for a short period of time. The firing conditions are preferably 800-1200°C for 2-4 hours. During firing, it is desirable to reach the firing temperature of 800-1200°C as quickly as possible from the start of firing. For example, it is particularly desirable to quickly increase the voltage of the firing furnace and reach the firing temperature within 30-60 minutes from the start of firing. It is possible to mix charcoal powder with a high silicon content, which is made from charcoal or smoked charcoal fired at such high temperatures for a short period of time, with finely divided radium.
[0033] In the present invention, finely powdered radium refers to compounds containing radium, such as radium compounds such as radium oxide, radium hydroxide, radium fluoride, radium chloride, radium bromide, radium iodide, radium carbonate, radium sulfate, radium sulfide, and radium peroxide, as well as substances obtained by using natural ores containing radium as the raw material and turning these substances into fine powders using known methods.
[0034] Furthermore, the finely powdered germanium in this embodiment refers to compounds containing germanium, for example, germanium alkoxide compounds such as germanium dioxide, germanium hydroxide, germanium tetramethoxide, germanium tetraethoxide, germanium tetrabutoxide, and germanium ethyleneglycoxide; germanium phenoxide compounds such as germanium phenolate and germanium-β-naphtholate; phosphorus-containing germanium compounds such as germanium phosphate, germanium phosphite, and germanium hypophosphite; and germanium acetate compounds; as well as compounds containing germanium such as natural ores and minerals containing germanium that are made into a fine powder by known methods.
[0035] In this embodiment, the fine powder of copper refers to copper compounds such as copper (I) oxide, copper (II) oxide, copper (I) chloride, copper (II) chloride, copper (I) sulfide, copper (II) sulfide, copper (I) acetate, copper (II) acetate, copper (I) sulfate, and copper (II) sulfate, as well as refined copper or copper minerals that are made into a fine powder by known methods. The above germanium, radium, and copper compounds may be impregnated in a liquid state such as an aqueous solution into carbon powder, as described below.
[0036] The finely powdered charcoal powder used in the present invention can refer to a finely powdered carbon-containing substance. It can be a crystalline substance such as graphite, plumbum, or graphite, or it can be so-called charcoal, which is made by burning amorphous plant materials. In the case of charcoal, any carbon-containing material can be used, including wood charcoal, bamboo charcoal, coconut shells, coal, activated charcoal made from charcoal, etc. When using charcoal, it can be charcoal that has been burned by the user and turned into a fine powder, or it can be commercially available charcoal under various names such as powdered charcoal (powdered charcoal), charcoal dust, charcoal fine powder, powdered charcoal, or charcoal powder.
[0037] The following describes in detail the production of condom 10 using SPAORE (registered trademark). (1) Preparation of pre-vulcanized natural rubber latex liquid containing SPAORE (registered trademark) First, a pre-vulcanized natural rubber latex liquid containing SPAORE (registered trademark) is prepared. 2.334 ml of an aqueous solution with a 30 wt % concentration of SPAORE is prepared, and 100 ml of pre-vulcanized natural rubber latex is weighed into a container and stirred with a stirrer at a rotation speed of 100 RPM.
[0038] Next, 2.334 g of a 30 wt % SPAORE aqueous solution is added to the pre-vulcanized natural rubber latex liquid, and the mixture is stirred at 100 RPM for 1 hour to complete a pre-vulcanized natural rubber latex liquid containing SPAORE. Note that the above amounts are relative weights, and if the amount of pre-vulcanized natural rubber latex liquid initially weighed is 100 g, the amount of the 30 wt % SPAORE aqueous solution will be 2.334 g.
[0039] (2) Specific Manufacturing Method of a Condom Containing SPAORE® In one embodiment, a condom manufacturing method uses a glass mold 20 formed in the shape of the condom 10, a liquid bath 41 containing liquid natural rubber latex 31, and a liquid bath 42 containing liquid blood flow-promoting substance-containing natural rubber 32 containing a uniformly dispersed blood flow-promoting substance. The blood flow-promoting substance is a mineral-containing substance primarily composed of silicon oxide. A suitable example of the blood flow-promoting substance is SPAORE®. As shown in FIG. 2(A), the mold 20 is immersed in liquid natural rubber latex 31 (first immersion step). Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 2(B), the mold 20 is removed from the natural rubber latex 31. The liquid natural rubber latex 31 adheres to the mold 20. The natural rubber latex 31 is dried to form the first layer 11 of the condom 10 on the surface of the mold 20 (first drying step).
[0040] Next, as shown in Fig. 2(C), the mold 20 with the first layer 11 attached thereto is immersed in the pre-vulcanized natural rubber latex liquid containing SPAORE (registered trademark), i.e., liquid natural rubber latex 32 containing the blood flow-promoting substance (second immersion step). Thereafter, as shown in Fig. 2(D), the mold 20 is pulled out from the blood flow-promoting substance-containing natural rubber latex 32.
[0041] Liquid natural rubber latex 32 containing a blood flow-promoting substance is adhered to the outer surface of first layer 11 attached to mold 20. By drying this natural rubber latex 32 containing a blood flow-promoting substance, second layer 12 of condom 10 is formed on the outer surface of first layer 11 attached to mold 20 (second drying step). At this point, condom 10, in which first layer 11 and second layer 12 are laminated and integrated, is produced on the surface of mold 20.
[0042] Next, condom 10 is peeled from mold 20 (peeling step). This completes condom 10 of one embodiment of the present invention, as shown in Figure 2(E). In this peeling step, the condom 10 is inverted so that the inner and outer surfaces are reversed during the process of being peeled from mold 20. As a result, in the finished condom 10, the layer (second layer 12) made of blood flow-promoting substance-containing natural rubber latex 32, which has the blood flow-promoting substance uniformly dispersed therein, becomes the inner layer and comes into direct contact with the user's penis during use, while the layer (first layer 11) made of natural rubber latex 31 which does not contain the blood flow-promoting substance becomes the outer layer.
[0043] [Function] As described above, according to the condom manufacturing method of one embodiment, condom 10 can be manufactured, as shown in FIG. 1 , in which a layer (second layer 12) made of blood flow-promoting substance-containing natural rubber latex 32 containing a blood flow-promoting substance uniformly dispersed therein is used as an inner layer, and a layer (first layer 11) made of natural rubber latex 31 not containing a blood flow-promoting substance is used as an outer layer.
[0044] This condom 10 has a two-layer structure in the overall thickness direction, with an outer layer (first layer 11) made of natural rubber latex 31 that does not contain a blood flow-promoting substance, and an inner layer (second layer 12) made of natural rubber latex 32 that contains a uniformly dispersed blood flow-promoting substance. When the condom is worn on the penis, the layer (second layer 12) made of natural rubber latex 32 that contains a uniformly dispersed blood flow-promoting substance comes into direct contact with the user's penis, acting on the entire penis and promoting blood flow throughout the penis.
[0045] Furthermore, by laminating a layer (second layer 12) made of natural rubber latex 32 containing a blood flow-promoting substance with a layer (first layer 11) made of natural rubber latex 31 not containing a blood flow-promoting substance, the effect of promoting blood flow throughout the penis can be achieved without compromising the strength and texture required of a condom. The use of a mineral-containing substance primarily composed of silicon oxide as the blood flow-promoting substance effectively promotes blood flow in the penis. The use of SPAORE® as the blood flow-promoting substance, in particular, ensures that the effect of promoting blood flow in the penis can be achieved with high certainty.
[0046] It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment. For example, in the above-described embodiment, a mineral-containing substance containing silicon oxide as a main component, particularly SPAORE (registered trademark), is shown as a suitable example of a blood flow promoting substance, but a condom can also be constructed by dispersing minerals that have a similar blood flow promoting effect in natural rubber latex as the blood flow promoting substance, and the blood flow promoting substance is not limited to SPAORE.
[0047] The following examples will be used to specifically explain the effects of the condom 10 according to the embodiment of the present invention, based on test results.
[0048] 1. Blood Flow Rate Verification Test: Using a condom according to the present invention, which uses SPAORE® as a blood flow promoter, and a commercially available condom, blood flow rates were verified before and immediately after use. The condom is intended to be worn on the penis, but for ethical reasons, the left ring finger of a man in his 50s was used instead. Figure 3 shows the condom 10 manufactured by the manufacturing method according to the present invention and used in this test. Figure 4 shows the powdered SPAORE used in this blood flow rate verification test.
[0049] As a premise, the condom of the present invention and a commercially available condom for comparison are both condoms made of the same type of natural rubber latex, except that the condom of the present invention is a laminate of a layer containing SPAORE (registered trademark) and a layer that does not contain SPAORE (registered trademark).
[0050] The concentration of SPAORE® in the SPAORE®-containing layer (second layer 12) of the condom of the present invention was 1.38% by weight.
[0051] 2. Test Details The test was conducted by TFC Lab Co., Ltd. in the TFC Lab measurement room over a 10-day period. Specific test details and procedures are as follows: The test subject's left hand was allowed to acclimate for 10 minutes in a measurement room with a temperature of 23±1°C and humidity of 50±5%, and measurements were taken with the left ring finger bare. The condom of the present invention was then placed over the left ring finger, which was then removed after 1 minute, and measurements were taken again immediately thereafter.
[0052] The same measurement was also carried out for a commercially available condom for comparison. To measure the blood flow velocity, the capillaries under the cuticle of the left ring finger were photographed using a blood flow scope, TOKU Capillaro (product name).
[0053] During the test period, participants were only allowed to wash their hands with regular hand soap, and the use of products that may affect the skin, such as hand cream, was prohibited.
[0054] 3. Evaluation Method The blood flow velocity was evaluated by measuring the rate of blood flowing through the capillaries per second. The measurement was carried out 10 times for each of the condoms of the present invention (test product group) and the commercially available condom (placebo group). Figure 5 shows photographs of the capillaries taken at this point.
[0055] 4. Statistical Methods Each data obtained by measurement was converted into descriptive statistical values (mean, standard deviation), and comparisons over time between the condoms of the present invention (test product group) and commercially available condoms (placebo group) were tested using paired t-tests and between-group comparisons using Student's t-tests. Statcel 4 was used as the testing software, and the significance level was set at 5%.
[0056] 5. Results As a result of using the condom of the present invention (test product group), the blood flow rate increased by 42.72 μL / sec (35.53% increase) compared to before use, as shown in the "Change" section of the table in Figure 6. In contrast, when using a commercially available condom (placebo group), the blood flow rate increased by only 0.62 μL / sec (0.57% increase) compared to before use, and a clear significant difference was observed.
[0057] As for the blood flow rate, as shown in the graph in Figure 7, when the condom of the present invention was used, the blood flow rate before use was 120.24 μl / sec, but immediately after use it increased to 162.96 μl / sec, showing a significant and large increase in blood flow rate. On the other hand, when using a commercially available condom, the blood flow rate before use was 108.72 μl / sec, but immediately after use it decreased to 109.34 μl / sec, showing no increase in blood flow rate.
[0058] 6. Conclusions It was suggested that the use of the condom of the present invention can be expected to have an effect of improving blood flow. No abnormalities were observed on the skin during the test period, and no abnormalities were observed even after the two-week follow-up period, confirming that there are no safety issues.
[0059] In the above embodiment, the condom 10 according to the present invention has been described with an example in which the layer containing the dispersed blood flow-promoting substance and the layer not containing the blood flow-promoting substance are formed from natural rubber latex, but this is not limited to the above embodiment, and polyurethane may also be used as the material constituting the condom.
