[0004] The present disclosure relates to a spectacle lens having, in this order, a spectacle lens substrate, a primer layer, and a hard coat layer, wherein the primer layer is a layer formed using a composition containing first resin particles containing polyurethane and second resin particles containing urethane (meth)acrylate, and wherein the ratio of the mass of the second resin particles to the total mass of the first resin particles and the second resin particles in the composition is 0.1 to 0.3.

[0005] 1 is an example showing a cross section of a spectacle lens.

[0006] The spectacle lenses of the present disclosure are described in detail below. The spectacle lenses of the present disclosure have excellent transparency and impact resistance.

In addition, the solid content may be a component that chemically changes during the curing process. In this specification, the thickness of each layer is an average thickness, and the measurement method is a method of measuring the thickness at any five points on each layer and calculating the arithmetic average.

[0008] [Eyeglass Lens] An eyeglass lens has an eyeglass lens substrate, a primer layer, and a hard coat layer, in this order. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of one embodiment of an eyeglass lens. For example, when using the dipping coating method, a coating film of a predetermined thickness can be formed on the spectacle lens substrate by immersing the spectacle lens substrate in the composition, then pulling it out and drying it. In particular, it is preferable to simultaneously perform a curing treatment on a coating film formed using the composition and a coating film formed using a hard coat layer-forming composition described below. In other words, it is preferable to simultaneously form a primer layer and a hard coat layer by the curing treatment.

Furthermore, in this specification, unless otherwise specified, the average particle size refers to the average particle size based on volume distribution.

[0056] When the composition for forming a hard coat layer contains an inorganic compound, the content of the inorganic compound is preferably 10.0 to 99.0 mass %, more preferably 50.0 to 95.0 mass %, and still more preferably 80.0 to 95.0 mass %, based on the total solid content of the composition for forming a hard coat layer.

After forming the coating film, if necessary, a drying treatment such as heat treatment may be performed to remove the solvent from the coating film. Methods for applying the hard coat layer-forming composition include known methods (e.g., dipping coating, spin coating, spray coating, inkjet coating, flow coating, etc.). For example, when using the dipping coating method, a coating film of a predetermined thickness can be formed on the eyeglass lens substrate by immersing the eyeglass lens substrate in the hard coat layer-forming composition, and then pulling out and drying the eyeglass lens substrate. Furthermore, as described above, it is preferable to form a coating film using the hard coat layer-forming composition on a coating film formed using the composition, and then simultaneously curing the coating films.

[0060] The conditions for the light irradiation treatment can be selected appropriately depending on the type of polymerization initiator used. The type of light used for light irradiation can be, for example, ultraviolet light or visible light. The light source can be, for example, a high-pressure mercury lamp. The cumulative light amount used for light irradiation can be 100 to 10,000 mJ / cm from the viewpoints of productivity and curability of the coating film. 2 is preferred, and 100 to 5,000 mJ / cm 2is more preferred.

Thereafter, a high-pressure mercury lamp (100 mW / cm) was used as a light source. 2 ) was used to irradiate the second coating film and the first coating film formed using the hard coat layer-forming composition 1 with ultraviolet light (cumulative light amount: 0.8 J / cm 2 ) and then baked at 100°C for 10 minutes to form a primer layer and a hard coat layer. Furthermore, a hard coat layer was formed on the surface side of the other first coating film using the same procedure as above, thereby obtaining the eyeglass lens of Example 1.

[0070] When preparing eyeglass lenses for evaluating impact resistance, a multilayer inorganic anti-reflection layer (thickness: 400 nm, component: SiO) was further formed on the surfaces of both hard coat layers of the obtained eyeglass lenses of Example 1 by vacuum deposition (electron beam method). 2 and ZrO 2 ) and an organic antifouling layer (thickness 20 nm, component: fluorine-based organic compound) were formed in this order to obtain a spectacle lens for evaluating impact resistance.

[0071] [Examples 2 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2] In Examples 2 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2, each spectacle lens was produced using the same procedure as in Example 1, except that the contents of the various components were changed as shown in the table below. Furthermore, each spectacle lens for impact resistance evaluation was obtained using the same procedure as in Example 1.

[0072] [Evaluation] <Tensile strain ε and tensile strength σm> A coating film was formed using a solution containing each of the second resin particles (a commercially available product containing the second resin particles shown in Table 1), and then dried and cured to obtain a test piece. Further, the obtained test piece was molded in accordance with JIS-K-7127, and the tensile strain ε and tensile strength σm were measured in accordance with JIS-K-7161.

[0073] <Transparency (Haze)> To evaluate transparency, the eyeglass lens was placed on the light receiver side of a haze meter (NDH7000II, manufactured by Nippon Denshoku Industries Co., Ltd.), and measurements were taken three times. The average of the measurements (based on JIS K7136) was calculated and used as the haze value to evaluate transparency according to the following evaluation criteria: "A": Haze value less than 0.50% "B": Haze value 0.50% or more

[0074] <Impact Resistance> Each eyeglass lens for impact resistance evaluation was placed on the lens support stage of a drop ball tester in accordance with FDA Regulation 21 CFR 801.410, and a steel ball (16.2 g, outer diameter 15.9 mm) was dropped from a height of 1270 mm onto the geometric center of the convex surface of the eyeglass lens. The drop position was within a circle 15.9 mm in diameter from the geometric center of the lens. After the steel ball was dropped, the eyeglass lens was visually inspected for scratches and the shape of the scratches, and the impact resistance was evaluated according to the following evaluation criteria: "A": The steel ball did not penetrate the eyeglass lens. "B": The steel ball penetrated the eyeglass lens.
