Abstract
Description
Airplane seating system and aircraft equipped with same
[0001] The present invention relates to a seating system, and more particularly, to an airplane seating system that combines an upper seat system and a lower seat system to increase space efficiency and provide passengers with a visually stable and luxurious feeling in the cabin space, and an airplane equipped with the same.
[0002] An aircraft is an object that can fly through the air carrying people or goods by using the lift of its fixed wings.
[0003] These aircraft can be classified into several types according to their purpose, propulsion method, wing shape, etc.
[0004] Among aircraft, passenger aircraft are designed for the transport of passengers and can accommodate anywhere from 20 to as many as 800 seats. Aircraft with fewer than 20 seats are called commuter aircraft or air taxis.
[0005] Seats on passenger planes like this are generally divided into first class, business class, and economy class.
[0006] This is divided according to the space of the seat and the level of service provided.
[0007] In other words, first class is also called a sleeper seat, and the seat can be opened 180 degrees to lie down, while business class does not lie down like first class, but the distance between you and the seat in front is wide, so you can stretch out your legs and take a comfortable position.
[0008] In contrast, economy class is cheaper than first class, but lacks convenience.
[0009] Meanwhile, conventional first and business class seats required more space, so they could not generate much demand due to their high seat prices compared to economy class prices.
[0010] In addition, the idea of conventional double-decker seats, although highly space-efficient, is burdensome for airlines to accept from the perspective of airplane cabin interior design, so improvements are required.
[0011] The above-described technical configuration is background technology to help understand the present invention, and does not mean a conventional technology widely known in the technical field to which the present invention belongs.
[0012] Therefore, the technical problem to be achieved by the present invention is to provide an airplane seat system and an airplane equipped with the same, which increases space efficiency by combining an upper seat system and a lower seat system, and allows passengers to feel visually stable and luxurious in the cabin space.
