Description
Wind guide and noise reduction device and server
[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0002] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the China Patent Office on July 4, 2023, with application number 202310811211.2, and application name “A wind-guiding noise reduction device and server”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field
[0003] The present application relates to the technical field of server heat dissipation, and in particular to an air guide and noise reduction device and a server. Background Art
[0004] As high-capacity mechanical hard drives evolve, their storage density increases, and track widths are now measured in nanometers. The head must be precisely positioned above the designated track during seek and track-fixing operations. This requires that the displacement of the entire HSA (hard drive head suspension assembly, which includes multiple precision components such as the VCM (voice coil motor), magnetic arm, and head) system must be controlled to within a few nanometers. High-performance fans within servers radiate very strong, high-frequency random noise. This fan noise propagates through the air to the hard drive surface, causing acoustic-vibration coupling within the drive. This further resonates with the HSA system, interfering with the head's seek and track-fixing functions and reducing read and write speeds.

[0048] In order to make the objectives, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more clear, some embodiments of the present application are further described in detail below in combination with some specific embodiments and with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0049] It should be noted that all expressions using "first" and "second" in some embodiments of the present application are for distinguishing two non-identical entities with the same name or non-identical parameters. It can be seen that "first" and "second" are only for the convenience of expression and should not be understood as limitations on some embodiments of the present application. This will not be explained one by one in some subsequent embodiments.
[0050] To avoid HSA system resonance caused by fan noise, this application proposes an air guide and noise reduction device. This air guide and noise reduction device is arranged between the fan and the hard drive, can be installed next to the hard drive, and can be connected and fixed to the hard drive backplane, hard drive bracket, hard drive frame, or server chassis body. The opening is facing the direction of the sound source. It is used to filter and eliminate sound waves propagating to the hard drive surface through resonance, thereby avoiding resonance of the HSA system and effectively ensuring the reliability of hard drive reading and writing. The following will be combined with the accompanying drawings to explain the technical solution of this application in more detail.
[0051] Please refer to Figure 1, which shows the basic structure of the wind guide noise reduction device of the present application. In some embodiments, a wind guide noise reduction device of the present application includes: an air guide channel 100 having an air inlet 101 and an air outlet 102, wherein the area of the air inlet 101 is smaller than the area of the air outlet 102; and a resonant cavity 200, which is arranged around the air guide channel 100, wherein the air guide channel 100 and the resonant cavity 200 are connected through a first opening 300, so that the resonant cavity 200 absorbs noise propagating along the wind flow of the air guide channel 100 through the first opening 300 and resonates with it.
[0052] Those skilled in the art will understand that the rectangular shape of the air guide and noise reduction device shown in some embodiments is a conventional shape and should not limit the possibility of the air guide and noise reduction device having other shapes in specific application scenarios of this application. In addition, the rectangular parallelepiped shown in Figure 1 has a blocked design except for the preset air inlet 101, air outlet 102, and first opening 300. The air guide channels 100 shown on both sides of the rectangular parallelepiped are in perspective form, but are actually also blocked on both sides. The effect of the air inlet 101 of the air guide channel 100 being smaller in area than the air outlet 102 is, first, that it is suitable for specific application scenarios. In actual applications, the air inlet 101 is arranged near the hard disk group, and the air outlet 102 is arranged near the server fan. The server fan will extract air in the air guide channel 100 to form a wind flow; second, it helps to absorb noise. The noise is mainly generated by the server fan. In the process of its reverse propagation along the wind flow of the air guide channel 100, the gradually narrowing air guide is more conducive to the noise passing through the first opening 300 on the air guide channel 100 into the corresponding resonant cavity 200 and then resonating with the resonant cavity 200 (see Figure 3 for the principle), thereby changing the frequency of the noise and avoiding resonance of the noise with the HSA system of the hard disk group. In some embodiments, the air guide channel 100 is a smooth, gradually changing cross-section. The side closest to the hard drive has a narrower opening, pointing upward (toward the upper cover), i.e., the air inlet 101 is narrower and faces the upper cover. The side away from the hard drive has a wider opening, pointing backward (toward the fan), i.e., the air outlet 102 is wider and faces the fan. When the fan is operating, air is drawn into the channel through the gaps between the hard drives (the gap between the upper and lower hard drives, or the gap between the hard drive and the upper cover), passes through the air guide channel 100, and then flows out of the trumpet-shaped air outlet 102, flowing into the fan. The noise generated by the fan enters the air duct 100 from the air outlet 102 and propagates along the air duct 100 toward the air inlet 101. This means that the direction of sound wave propagation is opposite to the wind flow. The trumpet-shaped structure of the air outlet 102 not only guides the air but also collects the sound waves, trapping them within the duct. Openings and cavities are designed on the upper and lower sidewalls of the duct, connecting the air within the air duct 100 to the cavity, forming a resonant cavity 200, which effectively eliminates the noise. The air guide and noise reduction device can be adapted to various server models by modifying its external and assembly configurations, allowing for multiple installation methods. In some embodiments, the air guide and noise reduction device can be used in a 1U server. The 1U server has a hard disk backplane 211 as shown in Figure 2. The plane of the hard disk backplane 211 is parallel to the hard disk 212. The airflow direction in the 1U server flows from the hard disk to the fan, that is, the exhaust method, which is suitable for the design of the air guide channel cross-section, air inlet and air outlet in some embodiments. For different hard disk backplanes and airflow directions, the air guide channel and the external structure can be flexibly designed. The air guide and noise reduction device can also change its appearance and is suitable for any scenario with ventilation and noise reduction requirements, such as air-conditioning ducts, engine ducts, data center cabinets, etc. Those skilled in the art can flexibly set it up according to the concept of this application.
[0053] In some embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG1 and FIG3 , which shows a side cross-sectional view of the basic structure of the air guide noise reduction device of the present application, the resonant cavity 200 disposed around the air guide channel 100 includes: a first resonant cavity 201 disposed at the upper portion of the air guide channel 100 and a second resonant cavity 202 disposed at the lower portion of the air guide channel 100. The advantage of providing multiple resonant cavities is that they can resonate with noise of multiple frequencies, thereby improving the protection effect. In addition, providing resonant cavities above and below the air guide channel can prevent noise leakage and achieve all-round noise isolation.
[0054] In some embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG3 , the first resonant cavity 201 includes a first curved surface portion 210, and the second resonant cavity 202 includes a second curved surface portion 220. The first curved surface portion 210 and the second curved surface portion 220 are arranged relative to each other to form an air guide channel 100. FIG3 shows some preferred embodiments in which the resonant cavity 200 is arranged around the air guide channel 100. In some embodiments, the air guide channel 100 is completely surrounded by the curved surfaces of the upper and lower resonant cavities arranged relative to each other. This design method is conducive to absorbing noise and resonating with it. In some other embodiments, the resonant cavity and the air guide channel can be designed as two separate entities, and the two are connected by a branch pipe.
[0055] In some embodiments of the present application, referring again to FIG3 , the cross-sectional curves of the first curved surface portion 210 and the second curved surface portion 220 both conform to a multi-order spline curve of cubic or higher order. In further embodiments, at the air inlet 101 of the air guide duct 100, the cross-sectional curves of the first curved surface portion 210 and the second curved surface portion 220 curve in the same direction; at the air outlet 102 of the air guide duct 100, the cross-sectional curves of the first curved surface portion 210 and the second curved surface portion 220 curve in opposite directions. Specifically, the above-mentioned multi-order spline curve and the curvature of the cross-sectional curve at the air outlet have the effect of reducing wind resistance in the ventilation duct.
[0056] In some embodiments of the present application, the angle between the air inlet 101 and the air outlet 102 of the air guide channel 100 is less than or equal to 90 degrees. Defining the orientation of the air inlet 101 and the air outlet 102 can reduce the amount of air from the outlet re-entering the air guide channel through the air inlet, reduce obstructions to air flow in the air guide channel, ensure smooth airflow, and ensure that the air flow rate meets the requirements.
[0057] In some embodiments of the present application, with reference to FIG7 , further comprising: a separator 400, the separator 400 being used to separate the corresponding resonant cavity 200 into a plurality of sub-cavities. One or more separators 400 can be inserted into the first resonant cavity 201 and / or the second resonant cavity 202, respectively. The shape of the separator 400 needs to be adapted to the shape of the resonant cavity at the insertion position, i.e., after the separator 400 is inserted into the resonant cavity, the resonant cavity can be divided into two resonant cavities, i.e., the first resonant cavity 201 and the second resonant cavity 202 can be divided into a plurality of sub-resonant cavities. The number of sub-resonant cavities corresponding to the first resonant cavity 201 and the second resonant cavity 202 can be the same or different. In some embodiments of the present application, the number of sub-resonant cavities corresponding to the first resonant cavity 201 and the second resonant cavity 202 is set to be the same, and each sub-resonant cavity has an independent first opening 300. Fan noise and other noise can enter the corresponding sub-resonant cavity through these first openings 300 on the air guide channel and then resonate with the resonant cavity, thereby filtering and eliminating sound waves propagating from the fan to the hard disk surface, reducing the impact of sound waves on hard disk performance, and improving hard disk performance. The multiple sub-resonant cavities have different volumes. These sub-resonant cavities can eliminate sound waves of different frequencies. Noise, such as fan noise, is often composed of multiple frequencies. Therefore, different sub-resonant cavities 200 can more effectively eliminate noise of different frequencies. In the example of FIG7 , the entire resonant cavity is divided into six sub-resonant cavities, with corresponding volumes of V11, V12, V21, V22, V31, and V32, respectively. The width of the opening of each sub-resonant cavity is d11, d12, d21, d22, d31, and d32, respectively.
[0058] In some embodiments, a plurality of independent sub-resonance cavities can be designed, each sub-resonance cavity having an independent first opening 300 and having different shapes, volumes and curved surfaces, and the sub-resonance cavities can be combined to form a shape as shown in FIG1 . When in use, the plurality of sub-resonance cavities are combined into a prescribed shape and installed next to the hard disk, and can be connected and fixed to the hard disk backplane, hard disk bracket, hard disk frame or server chassis body, with the opening facing the direction of the sound source, for filtering and eliminating sound waves propagating toward the hard disk surface through resonance. When a sub-resonance cavity is damaged, it can be replaced separately, thereby reducing the cost of the wind guide and noise reduction device, improving the efficiency of the maintenance of the wind guide and noise reduction device, and improving the performance of the hard disk.
[0059] In some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG7 , the first resonant cavity 201 and the second resonant cavity 202 further include a plurality of U-shaped slots 500, which are used to secure the separator 400. The slots 500 are provided on the first resonant cavity 201 and the second resonant cavity 202, respectively. The slots 500 are generally U-shaped, and the specific shape needs to be adapted to the cross-section of the resonant cavity at the slot location. The slots 500 are used to insert the separator 400, that is, after a separator is inserted into the slot, the resonant cavity can be divided into two resonant cavities, and the two resonant cavities are sealed from each other. The number and position of the slots 500 on the first resonant cavity 201 can be the same as or different from the number and position of the slots 500 on the second resonant cavity 202. In some embodiments of the present application, the number and position of the slots 500 on the first resonant cavity 201 and the second resonant cavity 202 are set to be the same. When the slots 500 on the first resonant cavity 201 and the second resonant cavity 202 are inserted into the separator 400, the first resonant cavity 201 and the second resonant cavity 202 can be divided into multiple sub-resonant cavities. It is also necessary to set an independent first opening 300 for each sub-resonant cavity, that is, each sub-resonant cavity is set with a first opening 300. Noise such as fan noise can enter the corresponding sub-resonant cavity through these first openings 300 on the air guide channel and resonate with the resonant cavity, thereby filtering and eliminating sound waves propagating from the fan to the hard disk surface, reducing the impact of sound waves on hard disk performance, and improving hard disk performance. The multiple sub-resonant cavities set have different volumes. Sub-resonant cavities of different volumes can eliminate sound waves of different frequencies. Noise such as fan noise is usually composed of multiple frequencies. Therefore, different sub-resonant cavities can more effectively eliminate noise of different frequencies.
[0060] In some embodiments of the present application, a plurality of U-shaped slots are arranged side by side along the direction of the wind flow in the vertical air guide channel. The slots are respectively arranged on the first resonant cavity and the second resonant cavity, and the specific shape needs to be adapted to the cross-section of the resonant cavity at the slot position. The slot is used to insert a separator, that is, after one separator is inserted into the slot, the resonant cavity can be divided into two resonant cavities, and the two resonant cavities are sealed with each other. The slots can be set to multiple, each slot has a certain interval in the vertical direction, the number and position of the slots on the first resonant cavity can be the same as or different from the number and position of the slots on the second resonant cavity, when the separator is inserted into the slot, the first resonant cavity and the second resonant cavity can be divided into multiple sub-resonant cavities parallel to each other, and at the same time, an independent opening needs to be set for each sub-resonant cavity, that is, one opening is set for each sub-resonant cavity, and noise such as fan noise can enter the corresponding sub-resonant cavity through these openings on the air guide channel and then resonate with the resonant cavity, which can filter and eliminate sound waves propagating from the fan to the hard disk surface, reduce the impact of sound waves on hard disk performance, and improve hard disk performance. The multiple sub-resonance cavities set up have different volumes. Sub-resonance cavities with different volumes can eliminate sound waves of different frequencies. Noise such as fan noise is usually composed of a combination of multiple frequencies. Therefore, different sub-resonance cavities can more effectively eliminate noise of different frequencies.
[0061] In some embodiments of the present application, a plurality of U-shaped slots are arranged side by side along the direction of the wind flow in the parallel wind guide channel. Similarly, the slots are respectively arranged on the first resonant cavity and the second resonant cavity, and the specific shape needs to be adapted to the cross-section of the resonant cavity at the slot position. The slot is used to insert a separator, that is, after one separator is inserted into the slot, the resonant cavity can be divided into two resonant cavities, and the two resonant cavities are sealed from each other. The slots can be set to multiple, each slot has a certain interval in the horizontal direction, and the number and position of the slots on the first resonant cavity can be the same or different from the number and position of the slots on the second resonant cavity. When the separator is inserted into the slot, the first resonant cavity and the second resonant cavity can be divided into multiple sub-resonant cavities parallel to each other. At the same time, it is also necessary to set an independent opening for each sub-resonant cavity, that is, one opening is set for each sub-resonant cavity, and the position of the opening can be set as needed. Fan noise and other noise can enter the corresponding sub-resonant cavity through these openings on the wind guide channel and then resonate with the resonant cavity, which can filter and eliminate sound waves propagating from the fan to the hard disk surface, reduce the impact of sound waves on hard disk performance, and improve hard disk performance.
[0062] In some embodiments of the present application, a plurality of U-shaped slots are arranged side by side at different spacings. The slots on the first resonant cavity and the second resonant cavity may have different spacings, and the number of slots may also be different. In some embodiments, the slots on the first resonant cavity and the second resonant cavity may have the same spacing, and the number of slots may also be the same. In some embodiments, the slots on the first resonant cavity and the second resonant cavity have different spacings, and the number of slots may be the same. In some embodiments, the slots on the first resonant cavity have the same spacing, and the slots on the second resonant cavity have the same spacing, but the spacing of the slots on the first resonant cavity is different from the spacing of the slots on the second resonant cavity, and the number of slots on the first resonant cavity and the second resonant cavity is also different. Therefore, the spacing and number of the slots can be set as needed.
[0063] In some embodiments of the present application, multiple U-shaped slots include various slot widths to accommodate separators of varying thicknesses. The slot widths can be set as needed. The slots are used to receive separators, which, when inserted into the slots, can separate the resonant cavity into multiple sub-resonant cavities. The multiple sub-resonant cavities have different volumes, and sub-resonant cavities of different volumes can eliminate sound waves of different frequencies. Fan noise, for example, is typically composed of multiple frequencies, so different sub-resonant cavities can more effectively eliminate noise of different frequencies. Therefore, when separators are inserted into slots of different widths, the volumes of the corresponding sub-resonant cavities can be changed to eliminate noise of different frequencies.
[0064] In some embodiments of the present application, the separator has a shape adapted to the corresponding resonant cavity, and has a plurality of thicknesses adapted to various slot widths.
[0065] In some embodiments of the present application, the resonant cavity further comprises:
[0066] The removable upper cover is arranged opposite to the curved surface of the resonance cavity. That is, a removable upper cover is arranged on the side opposite to the curved surface of the first resonance cavity, and a removable upper cover is arranged on the side opposite to the curved surface of the second resonance cavity. When a separator needs to be inserted into the resonance cavity, the removable upper cover can be removed, and then the corresponding separator can be installed. The installation of the separator can be completed without removing the entire air guide and noise reduction structure. After the air guide and noise reduction structure has been used for a certain period of time, dust and foreign matter will enter the resonance cavity. After accumulating to a certain extent, the dust will enter the air duct through the opening and then enter the interior of the chassis, which may cause damage to the chassis. Therefore, the removable upper cover can be removed regularly to clean the interior of the resonance cavity to reduce the risk of damage to the chassis.
[0067] In some embodiments of the present application, the first opening is in the shape of an elongated strip, and the opening length and opening width of the first opening are determined by the volume of the resonant cavity to be connected, the thickness of the cavity wall, and the noise frequency to be resonated. As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the resonant frequency of the resonant cavity 200 is Wherein T is the thickness of the resonant cavity 200, V is the volume of the resonant cavity 200, f is the resonant frequency, c is the speed of sound in air, which is related to temperature and density, d is the width of the first opening 300, and L is the length of the first opening 300. Therefore, the values of the width and length of the opening can be obtained according to the frequency of the noise to be resonated, and the length and width of the opening can be set according to the frequency of the fan noise measured in advance and the parameters of the resonant cavity 200.
[0068] In some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG6 , the first opening is composed of a plurality of circular holes 303 , and the size and number of the plurality of circular holes 303 are determined by the volume of the resonant cavity 200 to be connected, the thickness of the cavity wall, and the noise frequency to be resonated. The resonant frequency of the resonant cavity 200 is Wherein T is the thickness of the resonant cavity 200, V is the volume of the resonant cavity 200, f is the resonant frequency, c is the speed of sound in air, which is related to temperature and density, and S is the total area of the circular holes 303. Therefore, the total area of the circular holes 303 can be obtained according to the frequency of the noise to be resonated, and the number of circular holes 303 and the area of each circular hole 303 can be set according to the value of the total area. The number of circular holes 303 and the area of each circular hole 303 can be set according to the frequency of the fan noise measured in advance and the parameters of the resonant cavity 200.
[0069] In some embodiments of the present application, further comprising:
[0070] The blocking member can block part of the first opening 300 to adjust the resonant frequency of the resonant cavity connected to the first opening 300. The resonant frequency of the resonant cavity is Where T is the thickness of the resonant cavity, V is the volume of the resonant cavity, f is the resonant frequency, c is the speed of sound in air, which is related to temperature and density, d is the width of the opening, and L is the length of the opening. Therefore, the width and length of the opening can be adjusted according to the frequency of the noise to better eliminate the noise. Components such as fans in the chassis may need to be replaced. After the replacement of the components, the frequency of the noise they generate will change, and the original resonant cavity will not be able to effectively eliminate the noise. Therefore, a blocking piece can be installed at the first opening 300 to adjust the size of the opening, that is, to change the resonant frequency of the resonant cavity. The size of the blocking piece can be set according to the frequency of the new noise.
[0071] In some embodiments of the present application, further comprising:
[0072] The thickening member attached to the wall of the resonant cavity 200 is used to adjust the wall thickness of the resonant cavity to adjust the resonant frequency of the resonant cavity. The resonant frequency of the resonant cavity is Where T is the thickness of the resonant cavity, V is the volume of the resonant cavity, f is the resonant frequency, c is the speed of sound in air, which is related to temperature and density, d is the width of the opening, and L is the length of the opening. Therefore, the thickness of the resonant cavity can be adjusted according to the frequency of the noise to better eliminate the noise. Components such as fans in the chassis may need to be replaced. After the replacement of the components, the frequency of the noise they generate will change. The original resonant cavity cannot effectively eliminate the noise. Therefore, a thickening piece can be installed inside the resonant cavity to adjust the thickness of the resonant cavity, that is, to change the resonant frequency of the resonant cavity. The thickness and size of the thickening piece can be set according to the frequency of the new noise.
[0073] In some embodiments of the present application, further comprising:
[0074] The filling member filled in the resonant cavity is used to fill the interior of the resonant cavity to change the volume of the resonant cavity and change the resonant frequency of the resonant cavity. The resonant frequency of the resonant cavity is Where T is the thickness of the resonant cavity, V is the volume of the resonant cavity, f is the resonant frequency, c is the speed of sound in air, which is related to temperature and density, d is the width of the opening, and L is the length of the opening. Therefore, the volume of the resonant cavity can be adjusted according to the frequency of the noise to better eliminate the noise. Components such as fans in the chassis may need to be replaced. After the replacement of the components, the frequency of the noise they generate will change. The original resonant cavity cannot effectively eliminate the noise. Therefore, fillers can be installed inside the resonant cavity to adjust the volume of the resonant cavity, that is, to change the resonant frequency of the resonant cavity. The thickness and size of the filler can be set according to the frequency of the new noise.
[0075] In some embodiments of the present application, the outer surface of the resonant cavity is further provided with avoidance grooves for avoiding adjacent components. The wind-guiding and noise-reducing structure must be compatible with the backplane and chassis structure surrounding the hard drive. Therefore, avoidance grooves can be designed on the outer surface of the resonant cavity to avoid obstacles, thereby preventing interference with connectors on the backplane. The same method is used to avoid other electronic components not shown in the figure. This application does not limit the number, size, and shape of the avoidance grooves, which can be set according to actual needs.
[0076] By using the solution of the present application, it is possible to filter and eliminate sound waves propagating from the fan to the hard disk surface, reduce the impact of sound waves on hard disk performance, improve hard disk performance, reduce hard disk damage rate, and provide an efficient and stable noise reduction solution for the server.
[0077] Based on the above objectives, a second aspect of some embodiments of the present application provides a server, including:
[0078] The aforementioned wind guide and noise reduction device;
[0079] cooling fans; and
[0080] Hard disk group;
[0081] Among them, the air inlet of the air guide and noise reduction device is set adjacent to the hard disk group, and the air outlet is set adjacent to the cooling fan. The cooling fan is used to inhale gas through the air guide and noise reduction device to form a wind flow and blow it to other heat dissipation components.
[0082] As shown in Figure 1, the wind guide noise reduction device includes: an air guide channel 100, having an air inlet 101 and an air outlet 102, and the area of the air inlet 101 is smaller than the area of the air outlet 102; and a resonance cavity 200, which is arranged around the air guide channel 100, wherein the air guide channel 100 and the resonance cavity 200 are connected through a first opening 300, so that the resonance cavity 200 absorbs the noise propagated along the wind flow of the air guide channel 100 through the first opening 300 and resonates with it.
[0083] Similarly, it should be understood that the rectangular shape of the air guide and noise reduction device shown in some embodiments is a conventional shape and should not limit the possibility of the air guide and noise reduction device having other shapes in specific application scenarios of this application. The purpose of the air inlet 101 of the air guide channel 100 being smaller than the air outlet 102 is, first, to be suitable for specific application scenarios. In actual applications, the air inlet is set near the hard disk group, and the air outlet is set near the server fan. The server fan will extract air in the air guide channel to form a wind flow; second, it helps to absorb noise. The noise is mainly generated by the server fan. In the process of its reverse propagation along the wind flow of the air guide channel, the gradually narrowing air guide is more conducive to the noise passing through the first opening on the air guide channel into the corresponding resonant cavity and then resonating with the resonant cavity (see Figure 3 for the principle), thereby changing the frequency of the noise and avoiding the noise from resonating with the HSA system of the hard disk group. In some embodiments, the air guide channel is a smooth and gradually changing cross-section pipe. The opening on the side close to the hard disk is narrower and faces upward (towards the upper cover), that is, the air inlet opening is narrower and faces the upper cover, and the opening on the side away from the hard disk is wider and faces backward (towards the fan), that is, the air outlet opening is wider and faces the fan. When the fan is working, air is drawn into the pipe from the gaps in the hard disk (the gaps between the upper and lower hard disks or the gaps between the hard disk and the upper cover), flows out of the trumpet-shaped air outlet after passing through the air guide channel, and then flows into the inside of the fan. The noise generated by the fan enters the air guide channel from the air outlet, propagates along the air guide channel toward the air inlet, that is, the propagation direction of the sound wave is opposite to the direction of the wind flow. In addition to guiding the flow, the trumpet-shaped structure of the air outlet can also have the effect of collecting sound, gathering the sound waves into the pipe. Openings and cavities are designed on the upper and lower side walls of the pipe, so that the air in the air guide channel is connected to the cavity, forming a resonant cavity 200, thereby effectively eliminating the noise. The air guide and noise reduction device can adapt to various server models by modifying the external assembly form, and has multiple installation methods.
[0084] Referring to Figure 3, the resonant cavity 200 arranged around the air guide channel 100 includes: a first resonant cavity 201 arranged at the upper part of the air guide channel 100 and a second resonant cavity 202 arranged at the lower part of the air guide channel 100. The advantage of setting up multiple resonant cavities is that it can resonate with noise of multiple frequencies, thereby improving the protection effect. In addition, setting resonant cavities above and below the air guide channel can prevent noise leakage and achieve all-round isolation of noise. In some embodiments of the present application, referring to Figure 3 again, the first resonant cavity 201 includes a first curved surface 210, and the second resonant cavity 202 includes a second curved surface 220. The first curved surface 210 and the second curved surface 220 are arranged opposite to each other to form the air guide channel 100. Figure 3 shows some embodiments of setting a resonant cavity 200 around the air guide channel 100. In some embodiments, the air guide channel 100 is completely surrounded by the curved surfaces of the upper and lower resonant cavities arranged opposite to each other. This design method is conducive to absorbing noise and resonating with it. In other embodiments, the resonant cavity and the air guide channel can be designed as two separate entities, and the two are connected by a branch pipe.
[0085] In some embodiments of the present application, referring again to FIG3 , the cross-sectional curves of the first curved surface portion 210 and the second curved surface portion 220 both conform to a multi-order spline curve of cubic or higher order.
[0086] The server of the present application can filter and eliminate the sound waves transmitted from the fan to the hard disk surface, that is, reduce the impact of the sound waves on the hard disk performance, improve the hard disk performance, reduce the hard disk failure rate, and provide an efficient and stable noise reduction solution for the server.
