Description

Grip holder for mobile devices

[0001] The present invention relates to a grip holder for a mobile device that allows a user to stably hold a mobile device such as a smartphone, tablet, or PDA, and more specifically, to a grip holder for a mobile device in which step rings are moved in a straight line without individually rotating or tilting during the withdrawal / intake process and stably maintained in that state.

[0002] Mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and PDAs are used by holding them with one hand and operating them with the other.

[0003] Mobile devices are difficult to hold in one hand due to their size and weight. Consequently, accidents involving mobile devices slipping out of your hand and breaking during use are frequent.

[0004] The grip holder for a mobile device is attached to the back of the mobile device and allows the user to hold the mobile device with the grip holder between two fingers, thereby preventing the user from losing the mobile device during use.

[0005] The applicant proposed a grip holder, registered in U.S. Pat. No. 20-0495748, entitled “Griptok for mobile devices.”

[0006] The above-mentioned registration number 20-0495748 "Griptok for mobile devices" has guide protrusions and guide grooves formed on the inner and outer surfaces of the step rings, respectively, to guide the insertion and withdrawal of the step rings.

[0007] However, since the step ring's guide protrusions and guide grooves are formed in small numbers and the protrusion length of the guide protrusions and the depth of the guide grooves are structurally limited, the combination of the guide protrusions and the guide grooves is somewhat unstable. Therefore, problems such as individual step rings not moving in a straight line but tilting during the process of withdrawing and withdrawing the step rings or during use after withdrawal, or the guide protrusions coming off the guide grooves and causing the step ring to rotate occur.

[0008] The present invention provides a grip holder for a mobile device in which guide projections and guide grooves for guiding the withdrawal and insertion of step rings are continuously formed on the inner and outer surfaces of the step rings, and the guide projections and guide grooves are firmly interlocked like saw teeth, so that the step rings do not tilt or rotate during the withdrawal and insertion process of the step rings and during use after withdrawal, and are stably moved in a straight direction.

[0009] In addition, another purpose is to provide a grip holder for a mobile device that can minimize the thickness of the grip holder when not in use and can hold the mobile device at a specific angle.

[0010] To achieve this purpose, the grip holder for a mobile device according to the present invention

[0012] A step ring module including step rings that are connected to the upper and lower plates on both sides and are extended and retracted in a telescopic manner with their diameters gradually increasing;

[0013] A grip holder for a mobile device, comprising a spring interposed between the upper plate and the lower plate to cause the upper plate and the lower plate to move apart, thereby allowing the step rings to be withdrawn;

[0014] The step ring is characterized in that guide grooves are formed continuously on the inner surface, and semicircular guide protrusions are continuously provided on the outer surface to guide insertion and withdrawal by being placed in the guide grooves formed on another step ring.

[0015] And, the inner surface of the step ring is provided with cylindrical protrusions to form the guide grooves, and the outer surface is provided with semicircular concave grooves that surround the protrusions provided in another step ring.

[0016] The lower part of the above main body is provided with a wall that forms a receiving portion in which the step ring module is received,

[0017] On the inner surface of the above wall, a plurality of internal catches are provided for the external wings formed on the lower step rings among the above step rings to be caught.

[0018] The upper plate of the main body is formed with a receiving groove for receiving the upper portion of the wall, and the inner wall forming the receiving groove is characterized in that a plurality of external catches are provided on which the internal catches are caught.

[0019] The grip holder for a mobile device according to the present invention configured as described above is a product in which guide protrusions and guide grooves formed continuously are firmly interlocked like saw teeth so that the step rings move in a straight line without turning or tilting, thereby stably allowing the step rings to be inserted and removed, the grip holder with the step rings inserted is convenient to use, the grip holder with the step rings inserted is thin so that the grip holder causes little interference when storing or transporting the mobile device, and the mobile device can be placed at a specific angle using the grip holder, and is a very useful invention for industrial development.

[0035] Hereinafter, a grip holder for a mobile device according to the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings.

[0036] As shown in the drawing, the grip holder for a mobile device according to the present invention is divided into components of a main body (10), a step ring module (20), and a spring (30).

[0037] The above body (10) is composed of an upper plate (11) and a lower plate (15), and the step ring module (20) and spring (30) are interposed between the upper plate (11) and the lower plate (15).

[0038] The upper surface (i.e., the upper surface) of the above-mentioned upper plate (11) is attached to the back surface of the mobile device (1) using double-sided tape.

[0039] In the central portion of the inner surface (i.e., the lower surface) of the upper plate (11), connecting pieces (111) are provided so as to protrude, to which the upper step ring (20a) having the smallest diameter among the step rings (20a to 20e) of the step ring module (20) is connected. On the outer surface of the connecting pieces (111), a catch portion (112) is formed so as to be caught by a catch (21) provided on the inner surface of the upper step ring (20a) among the step rings (20a to 20e).

[0040] On the inner surface of the upper plate (11), a receiving groove (113) is formed to be received on the upper side of a wall (151) provided on the lower plate (15), and an external catch (115) is provided protruding from the inner wall forming the receiving groove (113) to which an internal catch (155) provided on the wall (151) is caught. The internal catches (155) and external catches (115) are provided in multiple numbers at regular intervals, so that the internal catches (155) and external catches (115) do not face each other but are misaligned, and when the lower plate (15) is rotated while the wall (151) is accommodated in the receiving groove (113), the internal catches (155) of the wall (151) are positioned to face the external catches (115) of the receiving groove (113), so that the internal catches (155) and external catches (115) are engaged.

[0041] A wall (151) is formed protrudingly at the edge of the lower plate (15) to form a receiving portion (152) in which the step ring module (20) is received.

[0042] On the inner upper surface of the above wall (151), a plurality of internal hooks (155) that are hooked to the external hooks (115) of the above top plate (11) are formed at regular intervals.

[0043] A connecting projection (153) is formed protrudingly in the center of the inner surface (i.e., upper surface) of the lower plate (15) to which one end of the spring (30) is fitted. For reference, the other end of the spring (30) is inserted into and connected to a groove formed by connecting pieces (111) of the upper plate (11).

[0044] The above step ring module (20) is composed of step rings (20a to 20e) that are pulled out and pulled in telescopically and can be unfolded or folded.

[0045] The above step rings (20a to 20e) have a diameter that gradually increases, and a step ring (20a to 20e) with a smaller diameter is placed inside a step ring (20a to 20e) with a larger diameter.

[0046] Guide grooves (22) are continuously formed on the inner surface of the step rings (20a to 20e) and guide protrusions (24) are continuously formed on the outer surface, so that the guide protrusions (24) move along the guide grooves (22) of other step rings (20a to 20e) to guide the insertion and withdrawal of the step rings (20a to 20e).

[0047] The above guide groove (22) is formed by protrusions (23) that are provided to protrude from the inner surface of the step ring (20a to 20e). The protrusions (23) have a shape close to a cylinder. A concave groove (25) that surrounds the protrusions (23) is formed between the guide protrusions (24). In other words, the guide grooves (22) and the protrusions (23) are formed alternately and continuously on the inner surface of the step ring (20a to 20e), and the guide protrusions (24) and the concave grooves (25) are formed alternately and continuously on the outer surface of the step ring (20a to 20e). Thus, the above guide grooves (22), the guide protrusions (24), the protrusions (23) and the concave grooves (25) are interlocked with each other like gears, and accordingly, the step rings (20a to 20e) are drawn in and out in a straight line without tilting sideways during the drawing-in and drawing-out process, and the step rings (20a to 20e) do not rotate individually.

[0048] A catch (21) is formed by protruding from the inner upper portion of the step ring (20a to 20e) to catch the guide projection (24) of another step ring (20a to 20e). In addition, an outer wing (27) is formed on the lower step ring (20e) having the largest diameter among the step rings (20a to 20e) by extending outward and catches the inner catch projection (155) of the lower plate (15). The catch projection (21) of the upper step ring (20a) having the smallest diameter among the step rings (20a to 20e) catches the catch projection (112) formed on the connecting piece (111) of the upper plate (11).

[0049] In this way, among the step rings (20a to 20e), the catch (21) of the upper step ring (20a) is caught and connected to the catch portion (112) of the upper plate (11), the outer wing (27) of the lower step ring (20e) is caught and connected to the inner catch projection (155) of the lower plate (15), and the step rings (20a to 20e) have a structure in which they are drawn in and out in a telescopic manner between the upper plate (11) and the lower plate (15) by the catch projections (21) and the guide projections (24) of each other.

[0050] The above spring (30) is connected at both ends to the upper plate (11) and the lower plate (15) respectively, and provides elastic force in the direction in which the upper plate (11) and the lower plate (15) move apart.

[0051] When the lower plate (15) is rotated so that the internal catch (155) of the lower plate (15) is coupled to the external catch (115) of the upper plate (11) as in [A] of Fig. 1, the internal catch (155) is released from the external catch (115), and the lower plate (15) moves away from the upper plate (11) due to the elastic force of the spring (30), and in the process, the step rings (20a to 20e) are pulled out and spread out as in [B] of Fig. 1.

[0052] Referring to FIG. 4, the grip holder according to the present invention can also be used as a stand for setting up a mobile device (1) at a certain angle.

[0053] When using the grip holder as a stand, if only one external hook and one internal hook (155) out of the multiple external hooks (115) and multiple internal hooks (155) provided on the upper plate (11) and lower plate (15) are hooked together, the upper plate (11) can be used as a stand by tilting at a certain angle with respect to the lower plate (15) as shown in Fig. 4.

[0054] In explaining the present invention above, a grip holder for a mobile device having a specific shape and structure has been described with reference to the attached drawings, but the present invention can be variously modified and changed by those skilled in the art, and such modifications and changes should be interpreted as falling within the scope of protection of the present invention.
