The invention relates to a sealed and thermally insulating tank (1) for storing a fluid, and comprising a tank wall comprising: - an insulating panel (13), - a sealing membrane (14) with at least two parallel first corrugations (15, 16), at least two second corrugations (16) extending in a second main direction (d2), the insulating panel (13) comprising: - first relaxation slots (50), extending opposite the first corrugations (15) of the sealing membrane (14), and comprising two first end relaxation slots (51), and - second relaxation slots (60), extending opposite the second corrugations (16) of the sealing membrane (14) and comprising two second end relaxation slots (61), wherein each first, respectively second, relaxation slot intersects with all the second, respectively first, relaxation slots (60) and extends between two ends (50A, 50B, 60A, 60B) each located between one of the two second, respectively first, end relaxation slots (61, 51) and the second, respectively first, peripheral face (21B, 21A) of the adjacent insulating panel, at a distance from the second, respectively first, peripheral face (21B, 21A).
