Abstract
Description
ventilation system
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a ventilation system.
[0002] In winter, when the outside temperature drops and the temperature of the window glass drops, the air that comes into contact with the surface of the window glass and cools becomes denser than the air inside the room. As a result, the cooled air descends along the window glass, moves to the floor, and then spreads throughout the room, creeping along the floor and lowering the temperature of the air below. To prevent this, cold-weather boards are installed near the windows to prevent the cold air that comes down after coming into contact with the cooled window glass from flowing into the center of the room (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003] Utility Model Registration No. 3190818
[0004] However, even if installing a cold weather board can prevent cold air from spreading throughout the room, it cannot prevent the perimeter area near the window from getting cold due to the cold air. As a result, the perimeter area becomes less utilized, and the utilization rate of the room decreases.
[0005] In order to utilize the perimeter area, it is conceivable to install a dedicated air conditioner in the perimeter area, for example. However, the use of a dedicated air conditioner increases energy consumption.
[0006] The present disclosure has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a technology that improves comfort in perimeter areas while suppressing increases in energy consumption.
[0007] In order to solve the above problems, an air blowing system according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises a ceiling fan having a first intake port and a first outlet port, and a window fan having a second intake port and a second outlet port, wherein the first intake port draws in air stagnating in the space above an air conditioner suspended from the ceiling surface of a skeleton ceiling that does not have a ceiling panel, the first outlet port blows the air drawn in from the first intake port down towards the floor, the second intake port draws in the air blown down from the first outlet near the floor, and the second outlet port blows the air drawn in from the second intake port up near the window.
[0008] In addition, embodiments in which the above components are combined in any manner, as well as embodiments in which the expressions of this disclosure are converted into expressions appropriate for each category, such as a method, device, system, recording medium, or computer program, are also valid embodiments of this disclosure.
[0009] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to improve the comfort of the perimeter area while suppressing an increase in energy consumption.
[0010] Fig. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of a room equipped with an air conditioning system according to this embodiment. Fig. 2 is a plan view showing a portion of the configuration of a room equipped with the air conditioning system of Fig. 1. Fig. 3A is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of a window fan according to this embodiment. Fig. 3B is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of a window fan according to this embodiment.
[0011] The examples described below each illustrate a preferred specific example of the present disclosure. Therefore, the numerical values, shapes, materials, components, component placement and connection configurations, steps (processes), and step order shown in the following examples are merely examples and are not intended to limit the present disclosure. Therefore, among the components in the following examples, components that are not described in the independent claims that represent the highest concept of the present disclosure are described as optional components. Furthermore, in each figure, substantially identical components are designated by the same reference numerals, and redundant descriptions are omitted or simplified.
[0012] 1 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of a living room 10 equipped with an air conditioning system 1000. The living room 10 is a space with a skeleton ceiling, with no ceiling panel installed at ceiling panel position 30. A ceiling surface 20 is located above the living room 10, a floor surface 22 is located below the living room 10, and a window 24 is located on one side of the living room 10.
[0013] The space near the window 24, for example, the range within 3.5 to 5 meters from the window 24 toward the inside of the room 10, is the perimeter area 50. The perimeter area 50 is an area near the wall that is susceptible to the effects of outside air and sunlight, and is also called a perimeter zone.
[0014] The air conditioning system 1000 includes a first air conditioner 100a and a second air conditioner 100b, collectively referred to as air conditioners 100, a ceiling fan 200, a window-side fan 300, and a controller 500. Of these, the ceiling fan 200, the window-side fan 300, and the controller 500 are included in the air blowing system. The ceiling fan 200 includes a first housing 210, a first duct 220, a second duct 222, a first air inlet 230, and a first air outlet 232. The window-side fan 300 includes a second housing 310, a second air inlet 330, and a second air outlet 332.
[0015] The air conditioner 100 is suspended from the ceiling surface 20 at the same height as, for example, the ceiling board position 30. The space between the ceiling board position 30 and the ceiling surface 20 of the room 10 is the upper space 40. The upper space 40 can be said to be the space above the air conditioner 100. The air conditioner 100 is, for example, a commercial air conditioner, and is capable of performing at least heating operation and cooling operation. When the air conditioner 100 performs heating operation in winter, air (warm air) that is warmer than the average temperature of the entire room 10 accumulates in the upper space 40.
[0016] A fan (not shown) is built into first housing 210 of ceiling blower 200. First duct 220 extends from first housing 210 to first air inlet 230. First air inlet 230 is an opening of first duct 220 and is located in upper space 40 above air conditioner 100. For example, first air inlet 230 is located above air conditioner 100 and within 300 mm below ceiling surface 20. Second duct 222 extends from first housing 210 to first air outlet 232. First air outlet 232 is an opening of second duct 222 and is located near the height of ceiling board position 30.
[0017] As the fan of first housing 210 rotates, first air inlet 230 draws in air stagnating in upper space 40. The air drawn in from first air inlet 230 passes through first duct 220, first housing 210, and second duct 222, and is transported to first air outlet 232. First air outlet 232 blows the air transported through second duct 222, i.e., the air drawn in from first air inlet 230, down toward floor surface 22. For example, air is blown down from first air outlet 232 to an area inside perimeter area 50 within living room 10.
[0018] The window-side fan 300 is disposed below the window 24. A fan 322 (see FIGS. 3A and 3B ) is disposed inside the second housing 310 of the window-side fan 300. A second air inlet 330 that opens toward the floor 22 is disposed below the second housing 310. A second air outlet 332 that opens along the window 24 is disposed above the second housing 310.
[0019] As fan 322 of second housing 310 rotates, air blown down from ceiling fan 200 moves along floor surface 22 toward window 24 and is sucked in through second air inlet 330 near floor surface 22, for example, at a height of about 50 cm from floor surface 22. The air sucked in through second air inlet 330 is transported to second air outlet 332 through second housing 310.
[0020] The second air outlet 332 blows the air sucked in from the second air inlet 330 upward near the window 24, for example, at a position about 20 cm inside from the window 24. The air blown upward from the second air outlet 332 rises along the surface of the window 24 toward the ceiling surface 20.
[0021] Note that a desk 400 may be fixed to the second housing 310, and a chair 410 may be placed on the desk 400. In this case, the desk 400 and the chair 410 may be placed within the perimeter area 50.
[0022] The controller 500 is connected to the air conditioner 100, the ceiling fan 200, and the window fan 300 by wireless or wired communication, and controls the operation of the air conditioner 100, the ceiling fan 200, and the window fan 300.
[0023] 2 is a plan view showing a portion of the configuration of a room 10 equipped with an air conditioning system 1000. A first housing 210 is installed in the room 10. A second duct 222 extends from the first housing 210 toward the window 24 and is connected to a first air outlet 232. The first air outlet 232 is an elongated opening that extends along the window 24 in a plan view and is also called a breeze line.
[0024] 2, multiple first housings 210 may be installed depending on the size of the living room 10. Furthermore, the second duct 222 extending from the first housing 210 may be branched into multiple branches, and multiple first air outlets 232 may also be provided. Furthermore, a filter 240 may be provided in the second duct 222.
[0025] 3A and 3B are cross-sectional views showing the configuration of the window fan 300. Fig. 3A shows the internal configuration of the window fan 300 when viewed from inside the room 10, and Fig. 3B is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA' in Fig. 3A.
[0026] A second air inlet 330 that opens toward the floor surface 22 is disposed on the lower side of the second housing 310, and a filter 320 is disposed above the second air inlet 330. The filter 320 provides an air cleaning function.
[0027] In addition, a fan 322 is disposed above the filter 320. A slit-shaped second air outlet 332 is disposed above the fan 322, on the window 24 side. As shown in Fig. 2 , the second air outlet 332 is an elongated opening that extends along the window 24 in a plan view, and is disposed near the window 24.
[0028] 3A shows two filters 320, two second air inlets 330, and two fans 322. This configuration allows the air drawn in from second air inlets 330 to pass through filter 320 and fan 322, and then blown up along window 24 from second air outlet 332.
[0029] The operation of the air conditioning system 1000 having the above configuration will now be described.
[0030] In winter, the controller 500 instructs the air conditioner 100 to perform heating operation and instructs the ceiling fan 200 and the window fan 300 to operate. These instructions are given, for example, via wireless communication. When the air conditioner 100 performs heating operation, at least a portion of the (heated) air blown out from the air conditioner 100 remains in the upper space 40.
[0031] The ceiling fan 200 draws in the heated air stagnating in the upper space 40 through the first air inlet 230 and blows it down toward the floor surface 22 through the first air outlet 232 (see FIG. 1).
[0032] The window-side fan 300 draws in the air blown down onto the floor surface 22 through the second air inlet 330 and blows it up along the window 24 through the second air outlet 332 (see FIG. 1).
[0033] As a result, the air blown up along the window 24 from the second air outlet 332 warms the area around the window 24, thereby raising the temperature in the perimeter area 50. As a result, it is possible to place a desk 400 and a chair 410 in the perimeter area 50 and use the perimeter area 50 comfortably.
[0034] On the other hand, in the summer, controller 500 instructs air conditioner 100 to operate in cooling mode, instructs ceiling fan 200 to stop, and instructs window fan 300 to operate. When air conditioner 100 performs cooling mode, the (cooled) air blown out from air conditioner 100 descends toward floor 22 and stagnates near floor 22.
[0035] Because ceiling fan 200 is stopped, it does not blow air down from first outlet 232. Window-side fan 300 draws in air stagnating near floor 22 from second inlet 330 and blows it up along window 24 from second outlet 332. The air blown up along window 24 from second outlet 332 cools the area around window 24, thereby lowering the temperature in perimeter area 50. As a result, desk 400 and chair 410 can be placed in perimeter area 50, allowing for comfortable use of perimeter area 50.
[0036] The subject of the device, system, or method in the present disclosure includes a computer, and the computer executes a program to realize the functions of the subject of the device, system, or method in the present disclosure.
[0037] A computer has, as its main hardware component, a processor that operates according to a program. The type of processor is not important as long as it can realize functions by executing a program. The processor is composed of one or more electronic circuits, including semiconductor integrated circuits (ICs) or large-scale integrations (LSIs). The multiple electronic circuits may be integrated into a single chip, or may be provided on multiple chips. The multiple chips may be integrated into a single device, or may be provided on multiple devices.
[0038] The program is recorded on a non-transitory recording medium such as a computer-readable ROM (Read Only Memory), an optical disk, a hard disk drive, etc. The program may be stored in the recording medium in advance, or may be supplied to the recording medium via a wide area communication network including the Internet.
[0039] According to this embodiment, the ceiling fan 200 sucks in air stagnating in the upper space 40 and then blows it down, and the window fan 300 sucks in air near the floor surface 22 and then blows it up near the window 24, thereby adjusting the temperature in the perimeter area 50 located near the window 24. Since the temperature in the perimeter area 50 can be adjusted, the comfort of the perimeter area can be improved. Furthermore, since the temperature in the perimeter area 50 is adjusted by the ceiling fan 200 and the window fan 300, it is not necessary to install a new air conditioner in the perimeter area 50. Furthermore, since it is not necessary to install a new air conditioner in the perimeter area 50, an increase in energy consumption can be suppressed.
[0040] Furthermore, when the first air inlet 230 is positioned within 300 mm below the ceiling surface 20, it can draw in warm air. When the second air outlet blows air up along the surface of the window 24, it can reduce the influence of outside air within the living room 10. When the window-side fan 300 has an air purification function, it can purify the air in the living room 10. When the ceiling fan 200 operates in winter and stops in summer, and the window-side fan 300 operates in both winter and summer, it can provide a comfortable space regardless of the season.
