[0041] Hereinafter, an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0042] FIG. 1 is a drawing showing an example of installing an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments on a mobile robot. FIG. 2 is an exploded view showing an example of connecting an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments to a display.

[0043] Referring to FIG. 1, the angle adjustment device (100) for a display can adjust the display (30) to various angles by allowing the display (30) to perform a pitch motion, a roll motion, and a combined motion of pitch and roll. The angle adjustment device (100) for a display can provide convenience to the user by adjusting the display (30) to various angles using a compact size and small power.

[0044] The angle adjustment device (100) for a display can adjust the angle of the display (30) by rotating the display (30) around the Y-axis of FIG. 1 (pitch). The angle adjustment device (100) for a display can adjust the angle of the display (30) by rotating the display (30) around the X-axis of FIG. 1 (roll). The angle adjustment device (100) for a display can adjust the angle of the display (30) by simultaneously rotating the display (30) around the Y-axis and the X-axis of FIG. 1 (combination of pitch and roll).

[0045] An angle adjustment device (100) for a display can connect a display (30) to a mobile robot (10). The mobile robot (10) can be provided with a plurality of driving wheels (21) at the bottom and a plurality of idle wheels (23, 25) arranged at the front and rear of the plurality of driving wheels (21), respectively.

[0046] Vibrations generated when a mobile robot (10) is driven can be transmitted to a display angle adjustment device (100). The display angle adjustment device (100) can include a vibration absorption structure capable of absorbing vibrations transmitted from the mobile robot (10). Accordingly, the display angle adjustment device (100) can absorb vibrations transmitted to the display angle adjustment device (100) when the mobile robot (10) is driven, thereby improving or minimizing shaking of the display (30). The vibration absorption structure will be described in detail below.

[0047] The display (30) can be connected to the mobile robot (10) by a display angle adjustment device (100). The display angle adjustment device (100) can be placed between the rear side (33) of the display (30) and the front side (11) of the mobile robot (10). In this case, the display angle adjustment device (100) can be covered by a cover (50). The cover (50) can protect the display angle adjustment device (100) from external impact by preventing it from being exposed, and can improve or minimize contamination by foreign substances such as dust.

[0048] The mounting portion (111) of the angle adjustment device (100) for display can be connected to the front (11) of the display (30). Accordingly, the base (110) of the angle adjustment device (100) for display can be fixed to the mobile robot (10).

[0049] In the present disclosure, the display angle adjustment device (100) is exemplified as being mounted on a mobile robot (10), but is not limited thereto. For example, the display angle adjustment device (100) may be mounted on a fixed structure, such as a wall, or on a piece of furniture, such as a desk, that is not moved relatively frequently. In this case, the display angle adjustment device (100) may connect the display (30) to the wall or desk.

[0050] Referring to FIG. 2, the rear end (231b) of the first friction wheel (231) of the angle adjustment device for display (100) can be inserted into a coupling hole (35) formed in the rear end (33) of the display (30). The connecting portion (231b) of the angle adjustment device for display (100) can be firmly connected to the display (30) by a plurality of fasteners (hereinafter referred to as 'screws'). In this case, the plurality of screws can be fastened to a plurality of fastening holes (231c, see FIG. 4) provided in the rear end (231b) of the first friction wheel (231) of the angle adjustment device for display (100) through a plurality of through holes (37) provided in the display (30). Accordingly, the display (30) can rotate together with the first friction wheel (231) of the angle adjustment device for display (100).

[0051] Hereinafter, the configuration of an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIGS. 3 and 4 are drawings illustrating an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments.

[0052] Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the angle adjustment device (100) for a display may include a base (110) connected to a mobile robot (10), a joint part (200) capable of adjusting the angle of a display (30, see FIG. 2), a first drive motor (M1) provided on the left side of the joint part (200), and a second drive motor (M2) provided on the right side of the joint part (200). The first drive motor (M1) and the second drive motor (M2) may be stepping motors or servo motors capable of rotating in a clockwise and counterclockwise direction.

[0053] A mounting portion (111) that can be connected to a mobile robot (10) by a plurality of screws may be provided at the rear end of the base (110). The mounting portion (111) of the base (110) may be detachably fastened to the front of the mobile robot (10) by a plurality of screws.

[0054] A first angle limiting member (113) that can limit the angle at which the joint part (200) rotates around the X-axis may be provided at the tip of the base (110). As the angle at which the joint part (200) rotates around the X-axis is limited by the first angle limiting member (113), the tilting angle range of the display (30) during roll movement may be limited. For example, the tilting angle range of the display (30) during roll movement may be ±180 degrees.

[0055] The first angle limiting member (113) may be provided with a groove (114) through which the stopper (280) of the joint portion (200) can rotate within a predetermined angle range. The groove (114) of the first angle limiting member (113) may be formed in an approximately “U” shape. The tilting angle range during the roll movement of the display (30) may be set by the width (length along the Y-axis direction) of the groove (114) of the first angle limiting member (113).

[0056] A first damper (130) may be connected to the left side of the first angle limiting member (113), and a second damper (150) may be connected to the right side of the first angle limiting member (113). The first damper (130) and the second damper (150) may be provided symmetrically with respect to the joint portion (200). The first damper (130) and the second damper (150) may be rotary dampers.

[0057] A first driving motor (M1) may be connected to one side of the first damper (130). The first damper (130) may transmit the power of the first driving motor (M1) to the joint part (200). In this case, the first damper (130) may improve or reduce vibration and backlash resulting from the operation of the first driving motor (M1), thereby stably providing the power of the first driving motor (M1) to the joint part (200).

[0058] The first damper (130) may be provided with a first shaft member (131) connected to the drive shaft of the first drive motor (M1). The first shaft member (131) may be arranged coaxially with the third connecting shaft (213, see FIG. 8) of the connecting core (210) of the joint portion (200).

[0059] The first shaft member (131) can be connected to the third friction wheel (233) of the joint part (200). The first shaft member (131) can transmit the power of the first driving motor (M1) to the third friction wheel (233). In this case, the third friction wheel (233) can be rotated clockwise and counterclockwise together with the first shaft member (131).

[0060] A second driving motor (M2) may be connected to one side of the second damper (150). The second damper (150) may transmit the power of the second driving motor (M2) to the joint part (200). In this case, the second damper (150) may improve or reduce vibration and backlash resulting from the operation of the second driving motor (M2), thereby stably providing the power of the second driving motor (M2) to the joint part (200).

[0061] The second damper (150) may be provided with a second shaft member (151) connected to the drive shaft of the second drive motor (M2). The second shaft member (151) may be arranged coaxially with the fourth connecting shaft (214, see FIG. 8) of the connecting core (210) of the joint portion (200). Accordingly, the first and second shaft members (141, 151) and the third and fourth connecting shafts (213, 214) of the connecting core (210) of the joint portion (200) may all be provided coaxially (e.g., Y-axis).

[0062] The second shaft member (151) can be connected to the fourth friction wheel (234) of the joint part (200). The second shaft member (151) can transmit the power of the second driving motor (M2) to the fourth friction wheel (234). In this case, the fourth friction wheel (234) can be rotated clockwise and counterclockwise together with the second shaft member (151).

[0063] The joint part (200) can stably receive power from the first driving motor (M1) through the first damper (130), and can stably receive power from the second driving motor (M2) through the second damper (150).

[0064] The lower end of the first damper (130) and the lower end of the second damper (150) may be detachably fixed to the left and right sides of the first angle limiting member (113) by a plurality of screws, respectively. The upper end of the first damper (130) and the upper end of the second damper (150) may be interconnected by the second angle limiting member (117). In this case, the second angle limiting member (117) is arranged between the first damper (130) and the second damper (150), and may be parallel to the first shaft member (131) of the first damper (130) and the second shaft member (151) of the second damper (150).

[0065] The second angle limiting member (117) can limit the tilting angle range in which the joint part (200) rotates around the Y-axis. For example, when the joint part (200) rotates around the Y-axis, the first friction wheel (231) and the second friction wheel (231) included in the joint part (200) can interfere with the second angle limiting member (117) when the joint part (200) is positioned at a predetermined angle. Accordingly, the tilting angle range of the display (30) can be limited during the pitch movement. For example, the tilting angle range of the display (30) during the pitch movement may be ±25 degrees, but is not limited thereto.

[0066] The second angle limiting member (117) may include multiple rods. For example, it may include two rods spaced apart from each other as shown in FIG. 3. The wider the gap between the two rods, the narrower the tilting angle range during pitch movement of the display (30).

[0067] The second angle limiting member (117) is not limited to being made of two rods, and may also be made of one plate. In this case, the plate may have a width (length along the X-axis direction) that corresponds to the distance between the two rods.

[0068] The joint unit (200) can receive power from the first driving motor (M1) and the second driving motor (M2) to tilt the display (30) in pitch, roll, and a combination of pitch and roll. For example, the joint unit (200) can receive rotational force in the same direction from the first driving motor (M1) and the second driving motor (M2) to tilt the display (30) at a predetermined angle around the Y-axis. The joint unit (200) can receive rotational force in opposite directions from the first driving motor (M1) and the second driving motor (M2) to tilt the display (30) at a predetermined angle around the X-axis.

[0069] The joint part (200) adopts a structure of connecting multiple friction wheels and connecting multiple gears, thereby enabling the display (30) to be tilted with a small torque, having a compact size, preventing slippage between friction wheels when the joint part (200) is driven, and implementing a rigid structure capable of resisting external force.

[0070] Hereinafter, the structure of the joint part (200) of the angle adjustment device (100) for display according to one or more embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0071] FIG. 5 is an exploded view illustrating a joint portion of an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments. FIG. 6 is a plan view illustrating a joint portion of an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments. FIG. 7 is a side view illustrating a joint portion of an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments. FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA' shown in FIG. 7.

[0072] Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, the joint (200) may include a connecting core (210), first, second, third, and fourth friction wheels (231, 232, 233, 234), first, second, third, and fourth gears (251, 252, 253, 254), and a stopper (280).

[0073] The connecting core (210) may include a first connecting shaft (211) to which a first friction wheel (231) is coupled, a second connecting shaft (212) to which a second friction wheel (232) is coupled, a third connecting shaft (213) to which a third friction wheel (233) is coupled, and a fourth connecting shaft (214) to which a fourth friction wheel (234) is coupled. The first connecting shaft (211) and the second connecting shaft (212) may be arranged coaxially (e.g., X-axis). The third connecting shaft (213) and the fourth connecting shaft (214) may be arranged coaxially (e.g., Y-axis).

[0074] Some of the first, second, third, and fourth friction wheels (231, 232, 233, 234) connected to the connecting core (210) may be arranged in the front-back direction (X-axis direction) and the rest may be arranged in the left-right direction (Y-axis direction). For example, the first friction wheel (231) and the second friction wheel (232) may be arranged to face each other with a gap therebetween in the front-back direction (X-axis direction). The third friction wheel (233) and the fourth friction wheel (234) may be arranged to face each other with a gap therebetween in the left-right direction (Y-axis direction).

[0075] In this way, the first, second, third, and fourth friction wheels (231, 232, 233, 234) can be arranged in all directions (front, back, left, right). The diameters of the first, second, third, and fourth friction wheels (231, 232, 233, 234) can all be the same. In this case, the inclined surface (231a) of the first friction wheel (231) can come into contact with the inclined surface (233a) of the third friction wheel (233) and the inclined surface (234a) of the fourth friction wheel (234). The inclined surface (232a) of the second friction wheel (232) can come into contact with the inclined surface (233a) of the third friction wheel (233) and the inclined surface (234a) of the fourth friction wheel (234). The first, second, third, and fourth friction wheels (231, 232, 233, 234) can exert frictional force between the inclined surfaces (231a, 232a, 233a, 234a) that come into contact with each other.

[0076] Referring to Fig. 8, the first friction wheel (231) is coupled to the first connecting shaft (211) by a first nut (221) fastened to the first connecting shaft (211) and may not be separated from the first connecting shaft (211). The first friction wheel (231) may have a first ball bearing (271) provided on the inside. The first friction wheel (231) may be rotatably coupled to the first connecting shaft (211) by the first ball bearing (271). A first gear (251) may be coupled to the tip of the first friction wheel (231). The first gear (251) may rotate in the same direction as the first friction wheel (231).

[0077] The second friction wheel (232) is coupled to the second connecting shaft (212) by one end (281) of the stopper (280) and may not be separated from the second connecting shaft (212). The one end (281) of the stopper (280) may be fastened to the second connecting shaft (212) by a screw (222). The second friction wheel (232) may have a second ball bearing (272) provided on the inside. The second friction wheel (232) may be rotatably coupled to the second connecting shaft (212) by the second ball bearing (272). A second gear (252) may be coupled to the tip of the second friction wheel (232). The second gear (252) may rotate in the same direction as the second friction wheel (232).

[0078] The third friction wheel (233) is coupled to the third connecting shaft (213) by a second nut (223) that is fastened to the third connecting shaft (213) and may not be separated from the third connecting shaft (213). In this case, the second nut (223) may be fastened to the third connecting shaft (213) in a state where it is coupled to the third connecting shaft (213) by a plurality of first spring washers (241). In this case, the plurality of first spring washers (241) may prevent the second nut (223) from being released from the third connecting shaft (213) due to vibration generated when the first driving motor (M1) is driven.

[0079] The third friction wheel (233) may be provided with a third ball bearing (273) on the inside. The third friction wheel (233) may be rotatably coupled to the third connecting shaft (213) by the third ball bearing (273). A third gear (253) may be coupled to the tip of the third friction wheel (233). The third gear (253) may rotate in the same direction as the third friction wheel (233).

[0080] The fourth friction wheel (234) is coupled to the fourth connecting shaft (214) by a third nut (224) that is fastened to the fourth connecting shaft (214) and may not be detached from the fourth connecting shaft (214). In this case, the third nut (224) may be fastened to the fourth connecting shaft (214) in a state in which the third nut (224) is coupled to the fourth connecting shaft (214) by a plurality of second spring washers (243). The plurality of second spring washers (243) may prevent the third nut (224) from being released from the fourth connecting shaft (214) due to vibration generated when the second driving motor (M2) is driven.

[0081] The fourth friction wheel (234) may be provided with a fourth ball bearing (274) on the inside. The fourth friction wheel (234) may be rotatably coupled to the fourth connecting shaft (214) by the fourth ball bearing (274). A fourth gear (254) may be coupled to the tip of the fourth friction wheel (234). The fourth gear (254) may rotate in the same direction as the fourth friction wheel (234).

[0082] The first, second, third, and fourth gears (251, 252, 253, 254) may be bevel gears. The first gear (251) may be arranged to face the second gear (252) with a gap therebetween. The third gear (253) may be arranged to face the fourth gear (254) with a gap therebetween. In this case, the first gear (251) may be gear-connected to the third gear (253) and the fourth gear (254). The second gear (252) may be gear-connected to the third gear (253) and the fourth gear (254).

[0083] Referring to Fig. 7, the stopper (280) may be formed into an approximately “L” shape by being bent between one end (281) and the other end (283). One end (281) of the stopper (280) may be fastened to the second connecting shaft (212) by a screw (222) as described above. The other end (283) of the stopper (280) may be fastened to the lower surface of the connecting core (210) by a plurality of screws (see Fig. 4). Accordingly, the stopper (280) may be coupled to the connecting core (210) and may rotate around the X-axis and around the Y-axis together with the connecting core (210).

[0084] The stopper (280) may be placed in the groove (114) of the first angle limiting member (113). The stopper (280) may be caught by both sides of the groove (114) of the first angle limiting member (113) when rotating around the Y-axis together with the connecting core (210), thereby limiting the rotation. Accordingly, the tilting angle range during the roll operation of the display (30) may be set by the stopper (280) and the first angle limiting member (113).

[0085] FIG. 9 is a block diagram illustrating an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments.

[0086] Referring to FIG. 9, the display angle adjustment device (100) according to one or more embodiments may further include a processor (300) for controlling the driving of a first driving motor (M1) and a second driving motor (M2), and a memory (310). The processor (300) and the memory (310) may be provided at a predetermined position of the base (110). In addition, the processor (300) and the memory (310) may also be provided in an object on which the display angle adjustment device (100) is installed, for example, a mobile robot (10).

[0087] The processor (300) may be composed of one or more processors. The one or more processors may include at least one of a CPU (Central Processing Unit), a GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), and an NPU (Neural Processing Unit), but are not limited to the examples of the processors described above. The CPU is a general-purpose processor capable of performing not only general operations but also artificial intelligence operations, and can efficiently execute complex programs through a multi-layer cache structure. The CPU is advantageous in a serial processing method that enables organic linking of the previous calculation result with the next calculation result through sequential calculation. The general-purpose processor is not limited to the examples described above, except in cases where it is specified as the CPU described above.

[0088] The memory (310) is a component for storing various programs and data required for the pitch operation, roll operation, and combined pitch and roll operation of the display (30). The memory (310) may include volatile memory or non-volatile memory. The program may be stored as software in the memory (310) and may include, for example, an operating system, middleware, or an application.

[0089] FIGS. 10 and 11 are explanatory drawings for a roll motion of a display according to driving of a joint of an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments.

[0090] Referring to FIG. 10, for the roll operation of the display (30), the processor (300) controls the driving of the first driving motor (M1) to rotate in the first direction, and controls the driving of the second driving motor (M2) to rotate in the second direction, which is the opposite direction to the first direction. The third friction wheel (233) and the third gear (253) rotate in the first direction around the Y-axis, and the fourth friction wheel (234) and the fourth gear (254) rotate in the second direction around the Y-axis. Accordingly, the first gear (251) rotates in the first direction around the X-axis in conjunction with the rotation of the third gear (253) and the fourth gear (254), and the second gear (252) rotates in the second direction around the X-axis in conjunction with the rotation of the third gear (253) and the fourth gear (254).

[0091] In this case, the inclined surfaces (231a, 232a, 233a, 234a) of the first, second, third, and fourth friction wheels (231, 232, 233, 234) come into contact with the adjacent inclined surfaces in a pressurized state. Accordingly, the first, second, third, and fourth gears (251, 252, 253, 254) can rotate stably without slipping when rotating in mutual interlock.

[0092] Referring to Fig. 11, the display (30) connected to the first friction wheel (231) can be tilted at an angle corresponding to the angle at which the first friction wheel (231) rotates by rolling in the same direction (clockwise) as the rotation direction of the first friction wheel (231). In this case, the upper end (30a) of the display (30) can be rotated to the right by a predetermined angle, and the lower end (30b) of the display (30) can be rotated to the left by the same angle as the upper end (30a) of the display (30).

[0093] Conversely, the processor (300) may control the driving to rotate the first driving motor (M1) in the second direction and control the driving to rotate the second driving motor (M2) in the first direction. In this case, the third friction wheel (233) and the third gear (253) rotate in the second direction around the Y-axis, and the fourth friction wheel (234) and the fourth gear (254) rotate in the first direction around the Y-axis. Accordingly, the first gear (251) rotates in the second direction around the X-axis in conjunction with the rotation of the third gear (253) and the fourth gear (254), and the second gear (252) rotates in the first direction around the X-axis in conjunction with the rotation of the third gear (253) and the fourth gear (254).

[0094] Accordingly, the display (30) connected to the first friction wheel (231) can roll in the same direction as the rotation direction of the first friction wheel (231) (counterclockwise in FIG. 11) and tilt at an angle corresponding to the rotation angle of the first friction wheel (231).

[0095] An angle adjustment device (100) for a display according to one or more embodiments can roll the display (30) to rotate it to a desired angle within a tilting angle range (e.g., ±180 degrees). For example, the angle adjustment device (100) for a display can adjust the display (30) maintained in a vertical direction to rotate it 90 degrees so that it is arranged in a horizontal direction. In addition, the angle adjustment device (100) for a display can adjust the display (30) maintained in a vertical direction to rotate it 180 degrees so that the upper end (30a) of the display (30) and the lower end (30b) of the display are positioned opposite to each other.

[0096] FIGS. 12 and 13 are explanatory drawings for a pitch (roll) motion of a display according to driving of a joint of an angle adjustment device for a display according to one or more embodiments.

[0097] Referring to FIG. 12, for the pitch operation of the display (30), the processor (300) controls the driving of both the first driving motor (M1) and the second driving motor (M2) to rotate in the second direction.

[0098] In this case, the third friction wheel (233) and the fourth friction wheel (234) rotate together in the second direction, but the third gear (253) that receives power generated from the first driving motor (M1) through the first damper (130) and the fourth gear (254) that receives power generated from the second driving motor (M2) through the second damper (150) are locked by the first gear (251) and the second gear (252). Accordingly, the first, second, third, and fourth gears (251, 252, 253, 254) do not rotate with respect to each other. In addition, the first, second, third, and fourth friction wheels (231, 232, 233, 234) do not rotate with respect to each other.

[0099] Therefore, the driving force of the first driving motor (M1) and the second driving motor (M2) rotates the entire joint part (200) around the Y-axis.

[0100] Referring to Fig. 13, the display (30) rotates together with the joint (200) in the same direction as the rotational direction of the joint (200). In this case, the upper end (30a) of the display (30) moves backward, and the lower end (30b) of the display (30) moves forward. In this way, the display angle adjustment device (100) can rotate the display (30) to a desired angle within a tilting angle range (for example, ±25 degrees) by pitching the display (30). Here, the tilting angle range according to the pitch movement of the display (30) is not limited to ±25 degrees.

[0101] The processor (300) can control the display (30) to perform a complex motion combining roll and pitch by driving the joint (200). For example, the processor (300) can control the first driving motor (M1) and the second driving motor (M2) to rotate in opposite directions to tilt the display (30) 45 degrees clockwise around the X-axis (roll motion of the display (30)). Subsequently, the processor (300) can control the first driving motor (M1) and the second driving motor (M2) to rotate in the same direction to tilt the display (30) 15 degrees around the third and fourth connecting axes (213, 214) of the connecting core (210) (pitch motion of the display (30)). In this way, the angle for the display

[0102] The angle adjustment device (100) for a display according to one or more embodiments is not limited to a mobile robot (10) and can also be mounted on various mobile bodies, such as automobiles, trucks, ships, etc.

[0103] Although the preferred embodiments have been illustrated and described above, the present disclosure is not limited to the specific embodiments described above, and various modifications may be made by a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the present disclosure pertains without departing from the gist of the present disclosure as claimed in the claims, and such modifications should not be understood individually from the technical idea or prospect of the present disclosure.
