[0088] According to one embodiment, a foldable housing may be implemented by combining a first housing (210), a second housing (220), a first rear cover (240), a second rear cover (250), and a hinge module. The foldable housing of the foldable device (200) according to one embodiment is not limited to the shape and combination illustrated in FIG. 2, and may be implemented by combining and / or combining other shapes or parts. For example, in another embodiment, the first housing (210) and the first rear cover (240) may be formed integrally, and the second housing (220) and the second rear cover (250) may be formed integrally. According to various embodiments disclosed in the present disclosure, the term 'housing' may mean a combination and / or combined configuration of various other parts that are not mentioned. For example, the first area (231a) of the display (230) may be described as forming one side of the first housing (210), and in another embodiment, the first area (231a) of the display (230) may be described as being arranged or attached to one side of the first housing (210).

[0089] According to one embodiment, the first housing (210) may be connected to a hinge structure and include a first face (210a) facing a first direction and a second face (210b) facing a second direction opposite to the first direction. The second housing (220) may be connected to a hinge structure and include a third face (220a) facing a third direction and a fourth face (220b) facing a fourth direction opposite to the third direction, and may rotate or pivot about the hinge structure (or folding axis (A)) with respect to the first housing (210).

[0090] According to one embodiment, the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) are arranged on both sides (or upper / lower sides) with respect to the folding axis (A) as the center, and may have an overall symmetrical shape with respect to the folding axis (A). The angle or distance between the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) may vary depending on whether the state of the foldable device (200) is an unfolded state (or fully open state), a folded state (or fully closed state), or an intermediate state (partially open state or partially closed state) that is partially unfolded (or partially folded). According to one embodiment, the first housing (210), unlike the second housing (220), may additionally include various sensors, but may have a shape that is symmetrical with respect to the other areas.

[0091] According to one embodiment, at least a portion of the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) may be formed of a metallic or non-metallic material having a rigidity of a size selected to support the display (230). At least a portion formed of the metallic material may serve as a ground plane or a radiating conductor of the foldable device (200), and when served as a ground plane, may be electrically connected to a ground line formed on a printed circuit board.

[0092] According to one embodiment, the first rear cover (240) is disposed on one side (e.g., the upper side in FIG. 2) of the folding axis (A) on the rear of the foldable device (200) and may have, for example, a substantially rectangular periphery, the periphery of which may be wrapped by the first housing (210) (and / or the side bezel structure). Similarly, the second rear cover (250) is disposed on the other side (e.g., the lower side in FIG. 2) of the folding axis (A) on the rear of the foldable device (200) and may have its periphery wrapped by the second housing (220) (and / or the side bezel structure).

[0093] According to one embodiment, the first rear cover (240) and the second rear cover (250) may have substantially symmetrical shapes with respect to the folding axis (A). However, the first rear cover (240) and the second rear cover (250) do not necessarily have mutually symmetrical shapes. In another embodiment, the foldable device (200) may include the first rear cover (240) and the second rear cover (250) of various shapes. In yet another embodiment, the first rear cover (240) may be formed integrally with the first housing (210), and the second rear cover (250) may be formed integrally with the second housing (220).

[0094] According to one embodiment, the first rear cover (240), the second rear cover (250), the first housing (210), and the second housing (220) may form a space in which various components of the foldable device (200) may be arranged. According to one embodiment, one or more components may be arranged or visually exposed on the rear surface of the foldable device (200). For example, at least a portion of the sub-display (239) may be visually exposed through the first rear cover (240). In another embodiment, one or more components or sensors may be visually exposed through the first rear cover (240). In various embodiments, the components or sensors may include a proximity sensor, a rear camera, and / or a flash. In addition, although not separately illustrated in the drawings, one or more components or sensors may be visually exposed through the second rear cover (250).

[0095] According to one embodiment, a front camera (251) exposed on the front of the foldable device (200) through one or more openings or a rear camera (253) exposed through the first rear cover (240) may include one or more lenses, an image sensor, and / or an image signal processor. A flash (not shown) may include, for example, a light-emitting diode or a xenon lamp. In one embodiment, two or more lenses (an infrared camera, a wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens) and image sensors may be arranged on one side of the foldable device (200).

[0096] According to one embodiment, the foldable device (200) can be in a folded state or an unfolded state.

[0097] For example, the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) can rotate with respect to each other between a first position facing each other and a second position unfolded by a specified angle from the first position (e.g., a state illustrated in FIG. 2). In FIG. 2, a state in which the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) unfold to form an angle of approximately 180 degrees is exemplified, and in a folded state, for example, in the first position, the first region (231a) and the second region (231b) of the display (230) are positioned to face each other, and the folding region (231c) can be deformed into a curved shape.

[0098] According to one embodiment, the foldable device (200) can be implemented in two ways: 'in-folding', in which the first region (231a) and the second region (231b) are folded to face each other, and 'out-folding', in which the first region (231a) and the second region (231b) are folded to face opposite directions. For example, in the folded state in the in-folding manner, the first region (231a) and the second region (231b) can be substantially concealed, and in the fully unfolded state, the first region (231a) and the second region (231b) can be arranged to face substantially the same direction. For example, in the folded state in an out-folding manner, the first region (231a) and the second region (231b) may be arranged facing in opposite directions and exposed to the outside, and in the fully unfolded state, the first region (231a) and the second region (231b) may be arranged facing in substantially the same direction. According to one embodiment, the folded state will be described below with reference to FIGS. 3A and 3B.

[0099] According to one embodiment, the display (230) may include a display panel and a window member, and may be formed of a flexible material. Although not separately illustrated, it will be readily understood by those skilled in the art that the display (230) or the display panel includes various layers, such as a light-emitting layer, a substrate(s) encapsulating the light-emitting layer, an electrode or wiring layer, and / or an adhesive layer(s) bonding adjacent different layers. According to one embodiment, when the display (230) (e.g., the folding area (231c)) is deformed into a flat shape and a curved shape, a relative displacement may occur between the layers forming the display (230). The relative displacement due to the deformation of the display (230) may increase as the point is further from the folding axis (A) and / or as the thickness of the display (230) increases.

[0100] In one embodiment, the window member may function as a protective film to protect the display panel. As the protective film, the thin film plate may be made of a material that protects the display panel from external impact, is scratch-resistant, and reduces wrinkles in the folding area (231c) even during repeated folding and unfolding operations of the housings (210, 220). For example, the material of the thin film plate may include a transparent polyimide film (CPI) or ultra-thin glass (UTG).

[0101] According to various embodiments, the foldable device (200) may further include a protective member (206)(s) or a decorative cover (219, 229)(s) disposed on at least a portion of an edge of the display (230) on the front surface (e.g., the first side (210a) or the third side (220a)). The protective member (206) or the decorative cover (219, 229) may prevent at least a portion of an edge of the display (230) from contacting a mechanical structure (e.g., the first housing (210) or the second housing (220)) and may provide a decorative effect on the exterior of the foldable device (200).

[0102] Fig. 3a is an exemplary drawing illustrating a folded state of the foldable device of Fig. 2. For example, Fig. 3a illustrates a state folded in an 'in-folding' manner.

The interface may include, for example, a high definition multimedia interface (HDMI), a universal serial bus (USB) interface, an SD card interface, and / or an audio interface. The interface may electrically or physically connect the electronic device (700) to an external electronic device, for example, and may include a USB connector, an SD card / MMC connector, or an audio connector.

[0133] The battery (770) is a device for supplying power to at least one component of the electronic device (700), and may include, for example, a non-rechargeable primary battery, a rechargeable secondary battery, or a fuel cell. At least a portion of the battery (770) may be disposed substantially on the same plane as, for example, the first printed circuit board (780). The battery (770) may be disposed integrally within the electronic device (700), or may be disposed detachably from the electronic device (700).

[0134] The first antenna (750) may be positioned between the display (520) and the support member (760). The first antenna (750) may include, for example, a near field communication (NFC) antenna, a wireless charging antenna, and / or a magnetic secure transmission (MST) antenna. The first antenna (750) may, for example, perform short-range communication with an external device, wirelessly transmit and receive power required for charging, and transmit a magnetic-based signal including a short-range communication signal or payment data. In one embodiment, the antenna structure may be formed by a portion or a combination of the side bezel structure (710) and / or the support member (760).

[0135] A sealing member (790) may be positioned between the side bezel structure (710) and the rear plate (793). The sealing member (790) may be configured to block moisture and foreign substances from entering the space surrounded by the side bezel structure (710) and the rear plate (793) from the outside.

[0136] FIG. 8 is a flowchart illustrating an operation for transmitting a command to display an icon on an external electronic device based on whether an application of the electronic device is running and the folding state, according to one embodiment. In particular, FIG. 8 and other approaches of the present disclosure provide a user with an efficient means to (remotely) control image capture by a first electronic device (e.g., a smartphone) via a second electronic device (e.g., a wearable device such as a smartwatch). For example, by utilizing one or more of the conditions described in the present disclosure, the first electronic device can detect when a user attempts to capture an image using the first electronic device and provide a means to control the image capture via the second electronic device. This approach provides a means for the user to remotely control the device without having to complete one or more control initiation steps (beyond those involving physical placement of the device and / or selection of an application of interest). For example, performing actions such as requesting remote control and selecting a device to act as a remote control. Furthermore, the way in which icons on the second electronic device indicate available remote control functions does not significantly interfere with other uses of the second electronic device.

[0137] Although FIG. 8 illustrates the initiation of displaying an icon on a second electronic device based on (i.e., dependent on) the execution of a camera application and the folding angle of the electronic device, the running application may be any application that the user desires to remotely control, and the trigger for displaying the icon on the second electronic device may include any suitable change in the state of the first electronic device that indicates that the user desires to remotely control the application, such as a specific positioning of the first electronic device, a specific movement (or absence thereof) of the first electronic device, or a specific user input to the first electronic device. In some embodiments, the state of the first electronic device upon which displaying of the icon depends may be referred to as a mounted state of the first electronic device.

[0138] In FIG. 8 and all other methods and flowcharts discussed in this disclosure, steps may be rearranged, steps may be combined, steps may be separated into two or more steps, steps may be omitted, and / or additional steps may be introduced.

[0139] Referring to FIG. 8, in operation 810, an electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, the processor (120) of FIG. 1, or the electronic device (200) of FIG. 2) may execute an application for controlling a camera (e.g., the camera module (180) of FIG. 1). For example, the application for controlling the camera may be a camera application.

[0140] In operation 820, the electronic device may identify a folding angle of the electronic device through at least one sensor (e.g., the sensor module (176) of FIG. 1). For example, the folding angle may include at least one of a rotational angle of a hinge structure of the electronic device, an angle of a flexible display, and an angle between two housings connected to the hinge structure.

[0141] According to one embodiment, the electronic device may be a bar type or a rollable type rather than a foldable device. According to one embodiment, the electronic device may identify a placed state (e.g., a position state) of the electronic device through at least one sensor. The placed state may mean a state in which the electronic device is not moving (e.g., moving, rotating, and / or changing the folding angle). For example, the placed state may be a state in which a sensing value of at least one sensor (e.g., an acceleration sensor, a motion sensor) that senses the movement of the electronic device is 0 or less than a set value. According to one embodiment, the electronic device may determine that the electronic device is placed when a sensing value related to the movement of the electronic device is 0 or less than a set value and a sensing value of a touch sensor is 0 or less than a set value. According to one embodiment, the electronic device may determine that the electronic device is placed when a sensing value related to the movement of the electronic device is 0 or less than a set value and a distance from an external electronic device is detected. A stationary state may involve the device being positioned at a particular angle relative to the horizontal or vertical (potentially for a period of time), such as might occur when positioning the device to take a photograph without holding it.

[0142] For example, an electronic device may identify the mounting state of the electronic device, including the orientation of the electronic device, through a gyro sensor. For example, an electronic device may identify the mounting state of the electronic device, including whether the electronic device is rotated, through an acceleration sensor.

[0143] In operation 830, the electronic device may transmit a command to an external electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (104) of FIG. 1, the electronic device (500) of FIG. 5, or the electronic device (700) of FIG. 7) connected through a communication module (e.g., the communication module (190) of FIG. 1) to display an icon (e.g., a user interface item, a symbol, a button, etc.) related to the application for controlling the camera on the display of the external electronic device based on the folding angle being within a specified range (e.g., an angle range other than 0 degrees and 180 degrees) while the application for controlling the camera is running.

[0144] According to one embodiment, when the folding angle is within a specified range, the electronic device may be in an intermediate state (partially unfolded or partially folded, a partially open state, or a partially closed state). According to one embodiment, the specified range may be set differently for each electronic device and may be a range of folding angles to which the operations of the present disclosure are applied.

[0145] In one embodiment, the intermediate state may be referred to as flex mode. For example, flex mode may be a state in which the foldable device is folded at a certain angle within a certain range and does not fall over even when not held by a user.

[0146] According to one embodiment, a description of the folding angle within a specified range will be described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 9a and 9b below.

[0147] In one embodiment, when the electronic device is of a bar type or a rollable type, and the electronic device is in a state where an application for controlling a camera is running, if an angle between the surface of the display and the ground surface is within a specified range, the electronic device can transmit a command to the external electronic device to display an icon related to the application for controlling the camera on the display of the external electronic device connected through the communication module.

[0148] In one embodiment, the electronic device may transmit a command to an external electronic device to display an icon when the folding angle or the angle between the surface of the display and the ground is maintained for a set period of time or longer without rotation or movement of the electronic device while an application for controlling a camera is running.

[0149] In one embodiment, the electronic device may be configured to transmit a command to an external electronic device to display an icon when the folding angle or the angle between the surface of the display and the ground is maintained while an application for controlling the camera is running, and a grip sensor detects that the user is not holding the electronic device for a set period of time.

[0150] In one embodiment, the external electronic device may be a wearable electronic device. For example, the external electronic device may be a smartwatch including a display. For example, the external electronic device may communicate with the electronic device via a communication module (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or UWB (ultrawide band)).

[0151] According to one embodiment, the icon may be for executing an application of the external electronic device (e.g., a camera controller application) for controlling a camera application of the electronic device connected to the external electronic device. For example, the camera controller application may control shutter operation (e.g., an image capture trigger), switching shooting modes (e.g., a photo mode or a video mode), a timer, zoom, switching between front / rear cameras, and / or video recording of the camera application of the electronic device connected to the communication, and may check a preview, a captured photo, or a captured video.

[0152] In one embodiment, the electronic device may transmit a command to an external electronic device to display an icon associated with the timer application when a timer application for a camera control application (e.g., a time delay function of a camera application for image capture) is executed while the electronic device is in a stationary state in which the folding angle or the angle between the surface of the display and the ground is maintained for a set period of time or longer without rotation or movement of the electronic device. In one embodiment, one of the flex mode condition and the stationary state condition of no movement for a set period of time may be omitted from any of the approaches discussed in the present disclosure.

[0153] In one embodiment, an icon may be displayed as an upper layer on the screen of an external electronic device based on a command received from the electronic device. For example, the icon may be displayed as an upper layer overlaid on a portion of the home screen or application execution screen of the external electronic device. For example, the home screen may include a screen on which multiple functions are arranged according to user settings (e.g., a screen including complications of user interface items / icons). For example, the icon may be displayed as an overlay on a portion of the screen.

[0154] In one embodiment, an external electronic device may display an icon for launching an application when the application corresponding to the icon is currently running or not running in the foreground. For example, the external electronic device may display an icon for launching a camera controller application when the camera controller application for controlling the electronic device's camera application is not currently running. In one embodiment, the icon may be referred to as an ongoing icon.

[0155] For example, an ongoing icon can be displayed or deleted when predefined conditions are met. These predefined conditions can be included in the data of specific applications (e.g., a timer application or a camera application). These predefined conditions may be entered during manufacturing and cannot be set by the user.

[0156] According to one embodiment, the ongoing icon may be displayed as the top layer on the home screen or application execution screen of an external electronic device, which is a wearable electronic device. For example, even if the home screen or application execution screen displays information in an area, the ongoing icon may be displayed as an overlay on the information on the home screen or application execution screen. According to one embodiment, when the information on the home screen or application execution screen and the ongoing icon are displayed as an overlay, if a touch input is received in the overlaid area, the external electronic device may preferentially apply the touch input to the ongoing icon.

[0157] In one embodiment, when the home key is pressed or another application is launched while the ongoing icon is displayed on the external electronic device, the ongoing icon may be displayed as an overlay on the changed screen as a top layer. Alternatively, when an application unrelated to camera control of the electronic device is launched, the ongoing icon may be removed.

[0158] In one embodiment, while an ongoing icon is displayed on the external electronic device, the external electronic device may maintain the display of the ongoing icon even if the folding angle or the holding state of the electronic device in communication with the external electronic device changes (within a specified range for displaying the ongoing icon). For example, this may allow a user to change the position of the electronic device to change the image captured by the camera or the image composition without terminating camera control via the external device.

[0159] In one embodiment, while an ongoing icon is displayed on the external electronic device, the display of the external electronic device may remain on while a command is received from the electronic device or when an appropriate shutdown command is not received from the electronic device. For example, the external electronic device may keep the display of the external electronic device on by limiting a power saving mode (e.g., sleep mode). In one embodiment, the external electronic device may also keep the ongoing icon displayed on the always-on display (AOD) screen of the external electronic device. In another embodiment, the display of the external electronic device may remain on and / or the icon displayed for a preset period of time.

[0160] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device connected to an external electronic device is completely folded (e.g., a folding angle of 0 degrees) or completely unfolded (e.g., a folding angle of 180 degrees) while an ongoing icon is displayed on the external electronic device, the electronic device may transmit information on the folding state of the electronic device and / or a command to delete the ongoing icon to the external electronic device. The external electronic device may delete the ongoing icon based on receiving the folding state of the electronic device and / or the command to delete the ongoing icon from the electronic device. For example, the external electronic device may disable the display of the ongoing icon based on receiving the folding state of the electronic device and / or the command to delete the ongoing icon from the electronic device. For example, when the folded state (e.g., angle, hanging state) of the electronic device is out of a certain range or is out of a certain range, the external electronic device may disable the display of the ongoing icon.

[0161] In one embodiment, when an ongoing icon is displayed on an external electronic device and a camera application is terminated on an electronic device that is in communication with the external electronic device, the electronic device may transmit the execution status of the camera application of the electronic device and / or a command to delete the ongoing icon to the external electronic device. The external electronic device may delete the ongoing icon based on receiving the execution status of the camera application of the electronic device and / or a command to delete the ongoing icon from the electronic device.

[0162] In one embodiment, when an ongoing icon is displayed on an external electronic device and the communication connection between the external electronic device and the electronic device is disconnected, or when the ongoing icon is selected and the camera controller application is launched, the external electronic device may delete (e.g., stop displaying) the ongoing icon.

[0163] According to one embodiment, the display of an ongoing icon on an external electronic device based on an application execution state and / or a folding state of the electronic device will be described with reference to FIGS. 11A and 11B below.

[0164] In one embodiment, the electronic device may transmit the command to the external electronic device to display an icon based on the folding angle being within a specified range after the camera application is fully folded or fully unfolded while running. For example, even if the folding angle is not in flex mode while the camera application is running and then changes to flex mode, the electronic device may transmit the command to the external electronic device to display an ongoing icon on the display of the external electronic device. That is, while an application for controlling a camera (e.g., a camera application) is running, a transition from a fully (or substantially) folded or unfolded state to a partially folded or unfolded state (i.e., flex mode) may be used as a trigger for transmitting a command to the external electronic device to display an ongoing icon on the display of the external electronic device. Alternatively, the trigger may be an application for controlling a camera that is running within a certain period of time after the transition.

[0165] In one embodiment, if the electronic device is a bar type or a rollable type, and the angle between the surface of the display and the ground surface is outside a set range or is moved or rotated while the camera application is running, and then the angle between the surface of the display and the ground surface changes within the set range, the electronic device may transmit a command to the external electronic device to display an ongoing icon on the display of the external electronic device. Alternatively, the trigger may be an application for controlling the camera that is executed within a certain period of time after the change.

[0166] In another embodiment, a command to display an ongoing icon on the display of an external electronic device may be triggered when an application for controlling a camera is running and an external electronic device (e.g., an electronic device worn by a user) is detected to be a certain distance away from the electronic device.

[0167] According to one embodiment, an embodiment of displaying an ongoing icon on an external electronic device according to a folding angle after execution of an application is described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 12a and 12b below.

[0168] In this way, the electronic device can be fixed even when it is away from the user, and the wearable electronic device can be in contact with the user's body, and the user can remotely control the camera / camera application of the electronic device by determining a situation in which the controller is useful and providing an icon for executing the controller so that the controller can be used quickly.

[0169] In one embodiment, the electronic device may receive a request for information related to a function being executed in the camera application from an external electronic device. For example, when an ongoing icon displayed on the external electronic device is selected, the external electronic device may transmit a request for information related to a function being executed in the camera application to the electronic device.

[0170] In one embodiment, the electronic device may transmit information related to a function being executed in the camera application to an external electronic device based on the reception of a request. In another embodiment, the external electronic device may display a screen related to a function of the application being executed on the electronic device based on the information received from the electronic device. For example, the external electronic device may display an execution screen of an application for controlling the camera application of the electronic device (e.g., an image preview screen, a settings screen, etc.) based on the received information.

[0171] In one embodiment, the electronic device may transmit a command to the external electronic device to execute an application of the external electronic device related to the camera application based on receiving an input for capturing through the camera application after transmitting the command for displaying an icon to the external electronic device. In one embodiment, in a state where an ongoing icon is displayed on the external electronic device, the electronic device may transmit a command to execute a camera controller application based on receiving a timer for capturing or a gesture input (e.g., extending a palm toward a camera) through the camera application of the electronic device.

[0172] In one embodiment, the external electronic device may display an execution screen of a camera controller application based on receiving an execution command of an application (e.g., a camera controller application) for controlling the camera application of the external electronic device while an ongoing icon is displayed on the external electronic device.

[0173] According to one embodiment, an embodiment in which a camera controller application is executed under the control of an electronic device while an ongoing icon is displayed on an external electronic device is described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 13a and 13b below.

[0174] According to one embodiment, the electronic device may perform a function corresponding to a control command received from a camera application from an external electronic device via a communication module. For example, when an input for controlling shutter operation, shooting mode switching, timer, zoom, and / or video recording is received via a camera controller application of the external electronic device, the external electronic device may transmit a control command corresponding to the input to the electronic device. According to one embodiment, the electronic device may perform a function corresponding to the received control command.

[0175] According to one embodiment, based on a user input for an icon displayed on an external electronic device (e.g., an ongoing icon), the external electronic device may perform a function of the application even if the application corresponding to the icon is not displayed in the execution screen. For example, based on receiving an input of touching and then dragging an icon, the external electronic device may execute a function corresponding to the drag input. For example, based on receiving a zoom-in or zoom-out operation for an icon, the external electronic device may display a user interface (UI) that may execute a function corresponding to the running function of a camera application of the electronic device received through the communication module.

[0176] According to one embodiment, an operation of performing a function corresponding to a user input for an icon displayed on an external electronic device is described in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 14, 15, 21a and 21b.

[0177] According to one embodiment, the external electronic device may further include a bezel (e.g., wheel key (502) of FIG. 5 or wheel key (720) of FIG. 7) arranged to be rotatable along the border of the display.

[0178] According to one embodiment, the external electronic device may, based on detecting the rotation of the bezel while the icon is displayed, display at least one UI related to a function corresponding to the rotation direction of the bezel, replacing the icon. According to one embodiment, an operation of performing a function corresponding to the rotation of the bezel while the icon is displayed will be described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 16A, 16B, 16C, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21C, 21D, and 21E.

[0179] In this way, the electronic device can be fixed even when it is away from the user, and the wearable electronic device can be remotely controlled by determining a situation in which the controller is useful to the user and providing an icon for executing the controller so that the controller can be used quickly while the wearable electronic device is in contact with the user's body.

[0180] In the above, only embodiments of a camera application of an electronic device and a camera controller application of an external electronic device are disclosed, but the present disclosure is not limited to a camera application, and the operation of the present disclosure may be applied even when an application capable of interfacing with an external electronic device is executed.

[0181] FIG. 9A is a drawing for explaining the operation of an electronic device according to a folding angle when the electronic device, which is a foldable device, is unfolded, according to one embodiment.

[0182] Referring to FIG. 9A, an electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1 or the electronic device (200) of FIG. 2) may include a first housing (901) (e.g., the first housing (210) of FIG. 2) and a second housing (902) (e.g., the second housing (220) of FIG. 2). The first housing (901) and the second housing (902) are connected through a hinge structure and may be folded or unfolded through the hinge structure. In one embodiment, the angle between the first housing (901) and the second housing (902) may be a folding angle.

[0183] In one embodiment, when the folding angle of the first housing (901) and the second housing (902) is 0 degrees, the electronic device may be in a completely folded state. In one embodiment, when the second housing (902) is gradually unfolded relative to the first housing (901) and the folding angle of the first housing (901) and the second housing (902) is detected to be greater than or equal to a first value (910), the electronic device may display a screen in flex mode. For example, the first value (910) may be approximately 20 degrees.

[0184] In one embodiment, when the second housing (902) is gradually unfolded relative to the first housing (901) while the screen in flex mode is displayed and the folding angle of the first housing (901) and the second housing (902) is detected to be greater than or equal to a second value (911), the electronic device may disable the display of the screen in flex mode. For example, the second value (911) may be approximately 160 degrees.

[0185] For example, when the folding angle is detected to be greater than or equal to the first value (910) and less than the second value (911) while the camera application is displayed, the electronic device may transmit a command to display an icon for executing the camera controller application to an external electronic device.

[0186] FIG. 9b is a drawing for explaining the operation of an electronic device according to a folding angle when the electronic device, which is a foldable device, is folded, according to one embodiment.

[0187] Referring to FIG. 9B, when the folding angle of the first housing (901) and the second housing (902) is 180 degrees, the electronic device may be in a fully unfolded state. In one embodiment, when the second housing (902) is gradually folded relative to the first housing (901) and the folding angle of the first housing (901) and the second housing (902) is detected to be less than or equal to a third value (920), the electronic device may display a screen in flex mode. For example, the third value (920) may be approximately 150 degrees.

[0188] In one embodiment, when the second housing (902) is gradually folded relative to the first housing (901) while the screen in flex mode is displayed and the folding angle of the first housing (901) and the second housing (902) is detected to be less than or equal to a fourth value (921), the electronic device may disable the display of the screen in flex mode. For example, the fourth value (921) may be approximately 10 degrees.

[0189] For example, if it is detected that the folding angle is less than or equal to the third value (920) and greater than the fourth value (921) while the camera application is displayed, the electronic device may transmit a command to display an icon for executing the camera controller application to an external electronic device.

[0190] FIG. 10 is a diagram for explaining the operation of an external electronic device based on whether an application of the electronic device is running and the folding state, according to one embodiment.

[0191] Referring to FIG. 10, when an electronic device (101) (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, the processor (120) of FIG. 1, or the electronic device (200) of FIG. 2) determines that a camera application is executed and an execution screen (1001, 1002) of the camera application is displayed and the folding angle is in a set range of flex mode, the electronic device (101) may transmit a command for displaying an icon to an external electronic device (104) (e.g., the electronic device (104) of FIG. 1, the electronic device (500) of FIG. 5, or the electronic device (700) of FIG. 7). According to one embodiment, the electronic device (101) may display a preview screen (1001) of the camera application in an upper region divided based on the flex mode, and may display a camera application control screen (1002) in a lower region. For example, the camera application control screen (1002) may include a button (1003) for capturing the preview screen (1001).

[0192] For example, the electronic device (101) may transmit a command to display an icon to the external electronic device, so as to display an icon related to a camera controller application for controlling a camera application of the electronic device on the display of the external electronic device. According to one embodiment, FIG. 10 illustrates that the electronic device (101) transmits a command to display an icon to the external electronic device (104), but is not limited thereto. The electronic device (101) may transmit a command to output a notification notifying that the application of the electronic device (101) is controllable based on the type of the external electronic device (104). For example, the notification notifying that the controllability is possible may include a haptic output, an LED lamp output, and / or an audio output. In one embodiment, even if the external electronic device (104) is a smart ring or earphone that does not include a display, the electronic device (101) may transmit a notification (e.g., haptic output, LED lamp output, and / or audio output) to the external electronic device (104) informing that the electronic device (101) can be controlled through the external electronic device (104).

[0193] According to one embodiment, the external electronic device (104) may display an icon (1011) (e.g., an ongoing icon) on an upper layer of a previously displayed screen (1010) based on receiving a command from the electronic device (101). For example, the previously displayed screen (1010) may be a home screen or an execution screen of a previously executed application. According to one embodiment, the camera controller application may not be operating while the icon (1011) is displayed.

[0194] According to one embodiment, the external electronic device (104) may display an icon (1011) in an area other than an area that displays a notification indicating the receipt of a message. According to one embodiment, the external electronic device (104) may display the icon (1011) in an area other than an area (e.g., a complication area) where multiple functions / icons are arranged according to user settings. For example, the external electronic device (104) may display the icon (1011) at the bottom center of the screen. According to one embodiment, when a notification or complication overlaps with the icon (1011), the icon (1011) may be displayed as a higher layer.

[0195] According to one embodiment, when a user input for selecting an icon (1011) is received, the external electronic device (104) may display a screen (1020) of a camera controller application. According to one embodiment, when a user input for selecting an icon (1011) is received, the external electronic device (104) may execute the camera controller application. The external electronic device (104) may request information about the current execution state of the camera application from the electronic device (101). The external electronic device (104) may display an execution screen (1020) of the camera controller application based on the information about the current execution state of the camera application received from the electronic device (101). For example, the information about the current execution state of the camera application may include a photo / video shooting mode, a timer mode, a zoom status, and / or whether the front / rear camera is activated.

[0196] For example, the execution screen (1020) of the camera application may include a UI (1021) for taking pictures, a UI (1022) for switching to a video shooting mode, and / or a timer UI (1023) based on information about the current execution status of the camera application in the electronic device (101) (e.g., a photo shooting mode and a timer mode). In some embodiments, the execution screen (1020) may be an applied version of the button (1003), or may be a screen that synthesizes the preview screen (1001) and the button (1003).

[0197] FIG. 11A is a flowchart illustrating an operation of an external electronic device based on whether an application of the electronic device is running and a folding state, according to one embodiment.

[0198] FIG. 11B is a diagram illustrating the operation of an external electronic device based on whether an application of the electronic device is running and the folding state, according to one embodiment. For example, FIGS. 11A and 11B illustrate an embodiment of detecting the state of a camera application when the electronic device is detected as being in a cradle.

[0199] With respect to FIGS. 11A and 11B , steps may be rearranged, steps may be combined, steps may be separated into two or more steps, steps may be omitted, and / or additional steps may be introduced. For example, steps related to bezel rotation may be omitted, or repetitive control loops may be omitted.

[0200] FIG. 11c provides a diagram of the layout of the electronic device and screens of the electronic device and external electronic device described with reference to FIGS. 11a and 11b.

[0201] Referring to FIG. 11A, in operation 1101, an electronic device (101) (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, the processor (120) of FIG. 1, or the electronic device (200) of FIG. 2) and an external electronic device (104) (e.g., the electronic device (104) of FIG. 1, the electronic device (500) of FIG. 5, or the electronic device (700) of FIG. 7)) may be in a communication connection state. For example, the electronic device (101) and the external electronic device (104) may communicate via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or UWB.

[0202] In operation 1102, the electronic device (101) can determine whether the folding angle is within a set range. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 11C, the set range of the folding angle may correspond to a flex mode (1120) in which the electronic device can be placed without falling over. For example, the set range of the folding angle may be from about 20 degrees to about 160 degrees.

[0203] If the folding angle is out of the set range (operation 1102 - No), the electronic device (101) can perform operation 1102 again.

[0204] If the folding angle is within the set range (operation 1102 - yes), in operation 1103, the electronic device (101) can check whether the camera application is running.

[0205] If the camera application is not running (action 1103 - No), the electronic device (101) may perform operation 1103 again. In one embodiment, if the camera application is not running (action 1103 - No), the electronic device may return to operation 1102 and detect the folding angle again.

[0206] If the camera application is running (operation 1103 - Yes), in operation 1104, the electronic device (101) may transmit an icon display command for executing a camera controller (or camera controller application) to an external electronic device (104). For example, as illustrated in FIG. 11c, the electronic device (101) may display an execution screen (1130) of the camera application and transmit an icon display command for executing a camera controller to the external electronic device (104).

[0207] In operation 1105, the external electronic device (104) can determine whether the camera controller is running. For example, the external electronic device (104) can determine whether the camera controller is already running or whether the execution screen of the camera controller is already displayed based on user input through the external electronic device (104).

[0208] If the camera controller is running (1105-Yes), in operation 1113, the external electronic device (104) can keep the camera controller running without performing the icon display operation.

[0209] If the camera controller is not running (1105-No), in operation 1106, the external electronic device (104) may display an icon for running the camera controller. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 11c, the external electronic device (104) may display an icon (1141) as an upper layer on the displayed screen (1140).

[0210] In one embodiment, the external electronic device (104) may keep the camera controller in a non-executing state and display an icon for executing the camera controller.

[0211] In operation 1107, the external electronic device (104) can determine whether an icon is selected. For example, the external electronic device (104) can determine whether a user input for selecting an icon is received.

[0212] When the icon is selected (operation 1107 - Yes), in operation 1108, the external electronic device (104) can execute the camera controller. For example, when the icon is selected, the external electronic device (104) can request information about the currently executing function of the camera application from the electronic device (101). For example, as illustrated in FIG. 11C, the external electronic device (104) can display the execution screen (1150) of the camera controller based on the information received from the electronic device (101).

[0213] If the icon is not selected (action 1107 - No), in action 1109, the external electronic device (104) can check whether the bezel is rotated while maintaining the display of the icon.

[0214] When rotation of the bezel (e.g., wheel key (502) of FIG. 5 or wheel key (720) of FIG. 7) is detected (operation 1109 - Yes), in operation 1110, the external electronic device (104) may perform an operation corresponding to the bezel rotation. According to one embodiment, the operation corresponding to the bezel rotation while the icon is displayed will be described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 14 to 21E below.

[0215] If the rotation of the bezel is not detected (action 1109 - No), in action 1114, the external electronic device (104) may maintain the display of the icon.

[0216] In a state where an icon is displayed on the external electronic device (104), in operation 1111, the electronic device (101) can check whether the folding angle changes to leave the flex mode state. If the folding angle of the electronic device (101) remains in the flex mode state (operation 1111 - No), the electronic device (101) can perform operation 1111 again. If the folding angle of the electronic device (101) leaves the flex mode state (operation 1111 - Yes), the electronic device (101) can transmit a command to the external electronic device (104) to delete the icon.

[0217] In operation 1112, the external electronic device (104) may delete the icon for executing the camera controller.

[0218] FIG. 12A is a flowchart illustrating an operation of an external electronic device based on whether an application of the electronic device is running and a folding state, according to one embodiment.

[0219] FIG. 12B is a diagram illustrating the operation of an external electronic device based on whether an application of the electronic device is running and the folding state, according to one embodiment. For example, FIGS. 12A and 12B illustrate an embodiment in which the electronic device changes from an unsupportable state (e.g., a fully unfolded state or a fully folded state) to a flex mode state while the electronic device's camera application is running.

[0220] With respect to FIGS. 12A and 12B, steps can be rearranged, steps can be combined, steps can be separated into two or more steps, steps can be omitted, and / or additional steps can be introduced. For example, a repeating control loop can be omitted.

[0221] FIG. 12c provides an illustration of the layout of the electronic device described with reference to FIGS. 12a and 12b, and screens of the electronic device and an external electronic device.

[0222] Referring to FIG. 12A, in operation 1201, an electronic device (101) (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG.

[0223] In operation 1202, the electronic device (101) can check whether the camera application is running.

[0224] If the camera application is not running (action 1202 - No), the electronic device (101) can perform action 1202 again.

[0225] If the camera application is running (operation 1202 - yes), in operation 1203, the electronic device (101) can check whether the folding angle is within the set range.

[0226] If the folding angle is outside the set range (operation 1203 - No), the electronic device (101) can perform operation 1203 again. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 12c, if it is detected that the electronic device (101) is in a completely folded or fully unfolded state (1220) that makes it impossible to hold the device while the camera application is running, the electronic device (101) can perform the operation of detecting the folding angle again.

[0227] If the folding angle is within the set range (operation 1203 - Yes), in operation 1204, the electronic device (101) may transmit an icon display command for executing a camera controller (or a camera controller application) to the external electronic device (104). For example, as illustrated in FIG. 12c, if the set range of the folding angle satisfies the flex mode (1230) in which the electronic device can be placed without falling over, the electronic device (101) may transmit an icon display command for executing a camera controller (or a camera controller application) to the external electronic device (104).

[0228] In operation 1205, the external electronic device (104) can determine whether the camera controller is running. For example, the external electronic device (104) can determine whether the camera controller is already running or whether the execution screen of the camera controller is already displayed based on user input through the external electronic device (104).

[0229] If the camera controller is running (1205-Yes), in operation 1213, the external electronic device (104) can keep the camera controller running without performing the icon display operation.

[0230] If the camera controller is not running (1205-No), in operation 1206, the external electronic device (104) may display an icon for running the camera controller. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 12c, the external electronic device (104) may display an icon (1241) as an upper layer on the displayed screen (1240).

[0231] In one embodiment, the external electronic device (104) may keep the camera controller in a non-executing state and display an icon for executing the camera controller.

[0232] In operation 1207, the external electronic device (104) can determine whether an icon is selected. For example, the external electronic device (104) can determine whether a user input for selecting an icon is received.

[0233] When the icon is selected (operation 1207 - Yes), in operation 1208, the external electronic device (104) can execute the camera controller. For example, when the icon is selected, the external electronic device (104) can request information about the currently executing function of the camera application from the electronic device (101). For example, as illustrated in FIG. 12C, the external electronic device (104) can display the execution screen (1250) of the camera controller based on the information received from the electronic device (101).

[0234] If the icon is not selected (action 1207 - No), in action 1209, the external electronic device (104) can check whether the bezel is rotated while maintaining the display of the icon.

[0235] When rotation of the bezel (e.g., wheel key (502) of FIG. 5 or wheel key (720) of FIG. 7) is detected (operation 1209 - Yes), in operation 1210, the external electronic device (104) may perform an operation corresponding to the bezel rotation. According to one embodiment, the operation corresponding to the bezel rotation while the icon is displayed will be described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 14 to 21E below.

[0236] If the rotation of the bezel is not detected (action 1209 - No), in action 1214, the external electronic device (104) may maintain the display of the icon.

[0237] In a state where an icon is displayed on the external electronic device (104), in operation 1211, the electronic device (101) can check whether the folding angle changes to exit the flex mode state. According to an embodiment, if the folding angle of the electronic device (101) remains in the flex mode state (operation 1211 - No), the electronic device (101) can perform operation 1211 again. According to an embodiment, if the folding angle of the electronic device (101) exits the flex mode state (operation 1211 - Yes), the electronic device (101) can transmit a command to the external electronic device (104) to delete the icon.

[0238] In operation 1212, the external electronic device (104) may delete the icon for executing the camera controller.

[0239] FIG. 13A is a flowchart illustrating an operation of an external electronic device based on an application control operation on an electronic device, in a state where an icon for executing an application is displayed on the external electronic device, according to one embodiment.

[0240] FIG. 13B is a diagram illustrating an operation of an external electronic device based on an application control operation on an electronic device, in a state where an icon for executing an application is displayed on the external electronic device, according to one embodiment. For example, FIGS. 13A and 13B illustrate an embodiment where a camera controller application is executed under the control of the electronic device, in a state where an icon for executing an application is displayed on the external electronic device.

[0241] With respect to FIG. 13a, steps can be rearranged, steps can be combined, steps can be separated into two or more steps, steps can be omitted, and / or additional steps can be introduced. For example, a repeating control loop can be omitted.

[0242] Referring to FIG. 13A, in operation 1301, an electronic device (101) (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG.

[0243] In operation 1302, the electronic device (101) can check whether the camera application is running and the folding angle is within the set range. According to one embodiment, if the camera application is not running or the folding angle is outside the set range (operation 1302 - No), the electronic device (101) can perform operation 1302 again.

[0244] If the camera application is running and the folding angle is within a set range (operation 1302 - Yes), in operation 1303, a command for displaying a camera controller icon may be transmitted to the external electronic device (104). For example, as illustrated in FIG. 13B, the electronic device (101) may have the camera application running and the set range of the folding angle may satisfy a flex mode (1320) in which the electronic device can be placed without falling over. For example, the set range of the folding angle may be from about 20 degrees to about 160 degrees.

[0245] The electronic device (101) can transmit a command to the external electronic device (104) to display a camera controller icon when the camera application is running and the folding angle is within the set range.

[0246] In operation 1304, the external electronic device (104) can determine whether the camera controller is running. For example, the external electronic device (104) can determine whether the camera controller is already running or whether the execution screen of the camera controller is already displayed based on user input through the external electronic device (104).

[0247] If the camera controller is running (1304-Yes), the external electronic device (104) can keep the camera controller running without performing the icon display operation.

[0248] If the camera controller is not running (1304-No), in operation 1305, the external electronic device (104) may display an icon for running the camera controller. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 13b, the external electronic device (104) may display an icon (1330) as an upper layer on the displayed screen.

[0249] In one embodiment, the external electronic device (104) may keep the camera controller in a non-executing state and display an icon for executing the camera controller.

[0250] In operation 1306, the electronic device (101) can control the camera application. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 13b, the electronic device (101) can control the camera application based on receiving a gesture input (e.g., showing a palm to the camera and then making and unclenching a fist) (1340) for timer operation and / or shutter operation of the camera application. For example, the electronic device (101) can control the camera application based on receiving a user input for switching the shooting mode (photo or video) or zooming in / out.

[0251] In operation 1307, the electronic device (101) can transmit information about control of the camera application to an external electronic device (104).

[0252] In operation 1308, the external electronic device (104) may execute a camera controller (or camera controller application) based on information regarding control of a camera application received from the electronic device (101). For example, as illustrated in FIG. 13b, the external electronic device (104) may display an execution screen (1350) of the camera controller upon receiving information regarding control of the camera application from the electronic device (101), even if no user selection for an icon is received.

[0253] In one embodiment, the external electronic device (104) may display a running screen of the camera controller and provide feedback (e.g., sound and / or vibration) indicating that the camera controller is running.

[0254] In this way, when a user remotely uses the electronic device's camera, the camera controller can be automatically activated via the wearable electronic device. This provides an environment where the camera controller can be used even if the user cannot find it on the wearable electronic device.

[0255] According to one embodiment, when the execution screen of the camera controller is displayed on the external electronic device (104), the electronic device (101) can check whether the folding angle changes to leave the flex mode state. According to one embodiment, if the folding angle of the electronic device (101) remains in the flex mode state, the electronic device (101) can maintain the camera controller execution operation. According to one embodiment, if the folding angle of the electronic device (101) leaves the flex mode state, the electronic device (101) can transmit a command for deleting an icon to the external electronic device (104).

[0256] In one embodiment, the external electronic device (104) may delete an icon for executing the camera controller.

[0257] FIG. 14 is a diagram illustrating an operation of performing a function based on a user input received in an icon related to camera control of a wearable electronic device, according to one embodiment.

[0258] Referring to FIG. 14, a wearable electronic device (1400) (e.g., the electronic device (104) of FIG. 1, the electronic device (500) of FIG. 5, or the electronic device (700) of FIG. 7) may display an icon (1420) on a pre-displayed screen (1410) as an upper layer of the pre-displayed screen (1410). For example, the icon (1420) may be displayed in response to a command to display an icon (e.g., an ongoing icon) for executing a camera controller transmitted from the electronic device to the wearable electronic device (1400) based on the camera application of the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1) being executed and the stationary state (e.g., the folding state) being fixed in a flex mode. For example, the icon (1420) may be displayed at the bottom of the display of the external electronic device (1400).

[0259] According to one embodiment, based on a drag input (1421) of touching and moving an icon (1420), the wearable electronic device (1400) may perform a function corresponding to the drag input (1421). For example, based on an input (1421) of dragging an icon (1420) displayed at the bottom of the wearable electronic device (1400) upward, the wearable electronic device (1400) may display a plurality of UIs (1430) related to controlling a camera application. For example, the plurality of UIs (1430) may include a video capture button, a photo capture button, and / or a timer button. For example, the plurality of UIs (1430) may be displayed at the top of an application tray including a plurality of applications installed on the wearable electronic device (1400). Here, a drag input is considered, but any appropriate form of user input for an icon, such as a flick or a long touch, may be considered.

[0260] In this way, the wearable electronic device can provide a UI related to the functions of the camera application without displaying the execution screen of the camera application through user input to the ongoing icon.

[0261] FIG. 15 is a diagram illustrating an operation of performing a function based on a user input received in an icon related to camera control of a wearable electronic device, according to one embodiment.

[0262] Referring to FIG. 15, a wearable electronic device (1500) (e.g., the electronic device (104) of FIG. 1, the electronic device (500) of FIG. 5, or the electronic device (700) of FIG. 7) may display an icon (1520) on a displayed screen (1510) as an upper layer of the displayed screen (1510). For example, the icon (1520) may be displayed according to a command for displaying an icon for executing a camera controller transmitted from the electronic device to the wearable electronic device (1500) based on the camera application of the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1) being executed and the stationary state (e.g., the folding state) being fixed in a flex mode. For example, the icon (1520) may be displayed at the bottom of the display of the external electronic device (1500).

[0263] According to one embodiment, based on a pinch-out input (1521) for an icon (1520), the wearable electronic device (1500) can perform a function corresponding to the pinch-out input (1521). For example, based on a pinch-out input (1521) for an icon (1520) displayed at the bottom of the wearable electronic device (1500), the wearable electronic device (1500) can display a UI (1530, 1531, 1532) related to a currently executing function of a camera application in place of the icon (1520). For example, when the camera application of the electronic device is operating in a photo mode, the wearable electronic device (1500) can display a UI (1530) capable of controlling a shooting timer based on a pinch-out input (1521) for the icon (1520). According to one embodiment, when the camera application of the electronic device is in video mode before shooting, the wearable electronic device (1500) may display a UI (1531) that can control the aspect ratio of the image based on a pinch-out input (1521) for an icon (1520). According to one embodiment, when the camera application of the electronic device is in video mode shooting, the wearable electronic device (1500) may display a UI (1532) indicating the shooting time based on a pinch-out input (1521) for an icon (1520).

[0264] In this way, the wearable electronic device can provide a UI related to the functions of the camera application without displaying the execution screen of the camera application through user input to the ongoing icon.

[0265] According to one embodiment, a wearable electronic device may receive user input through the rotation of a bezel (e.g., a wheel key) included in the wearable electronic device, rather than through a touch input to an ongoing icon. Below, an operation of performing a corresponding function by rotating the wheel key while an ongoing icon is displayed on the wearable electronic device will be described.

[0266] FIG. 16A is a diagram illustrating an operation of performing a function based on bezel rotation in a state where an icon related to camera control of a wearable electronic device is displayed, according to one embodiment.

According to one embodiment, the wearable electronic device (1600) may include a bezel (1601) (e.g., the wheel key (502) of FIG. 5 or the wheel key (720) of FIG. 7) that is arranged to be rotatable along the border of the display.

[0268] For example, the icon (1620) may be displayed in response to a command to display an icon for executing a camera controller transmitted from the electronic device to the wearable electronic device (1600) based on the camera application of the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1) being executed and the stationary state (e.g., the folding state) being fixed in a flex mode. For example, the icon (1620) may be displayed at the bottom of the display of the external electronic device (1600).

[0269] According to one embodiment, when the bezel (1601) is rotated (e.g., clockwise or counterclockwise) while the icon (1620) is displayed, the wearable electronic device (1600) may display a UI (1630) for changing the camera shooting mode in place of the icon (1620). For example, the UI (1630) for changing the camera shooting mode may include a UI (1631) for selecting a photo mode and a UI (1632) for selecting a video mode.

[0270] According to one embodiment, the wearable electronic device (1600) can select a UI (1631) for selecting a photo mode (photo) and a UI (1632) for selecting a video mode (video) based on an input for rotating the bezel (1601).

[0271] According to one embodiment, the wearable electronic device (1600) may transmit information related to a selected shooting mode to an electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1). According to one embodiment, the electronic device may set a shooting mode based on the shooting mode information received from the wearable electronic device (1600).

[0272] FIG. 16b is a drawing for explaining an operation of performing a function based on bezel rotation in a state where an icon related to camera control of a wearable electronic device is displayed, according to one embodiment.

[0273] Referring to FIG. 16B, a wearable electronic device (1600) (e.g., the electronic device (104) of FIG. 1, the electronic device (500) of FIG. 5, or the electronic device (700) of FIG. 7) may display an icon (1620) on a displayed screen (1610) as an upper layer of the displayed screen (1610). According to one embodiment, the wearable electronic device (1600) may include a bezel (1601) (e.g., the wheel key (502) of FIG. 5 or the wheel key (720) of FIG. 7) that is arranged to be rotatable along the border of the display.

[0274] For example, the icon (1620) may be displayed in response to a command to display an icon for executing a camera controller transmitted from the electronic device to the wearable electronic device (1600) based on the camera application of the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1) being executed and the stationary state (e.g., the folding state) being fixed in a flex mode. For example, the icon (1620) may be displayed at the bottom of the display of the external electronic device (1600).

[0275] According to one embodiment, when the bezel (1601) is rotated (e.g., clockwise or counterclockwise) while the icon (1620) is displayed, the wearable electronic device (1600) may display a UI (1640) for changing the front / rear camera in place of the icon (1620). For example, the UI (1640) for changing the front / rear camera may include a UI (1641) for selecting the front camera (front) and a UI (1642) for selecting the rear camera (rear).

[0276] According to one embodiment, the wearable electronic device (1600) may select a UI (1641) for selecting a front camera (front) and a UI (1642) for selecting a rear camera (rear) based on an input for rotating a bezel (1601).

[0277] According to one embodiment, the wearable electronic device (1600) may transmit information related to a selected front or rear camera to an electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1). According to one embodiment, the electronic device may change the activated camera based on the camera information received from the wearable electronic device (1600).

[0278] FIG. 16c is a drawing for explaining an operation of performing a function based on bezel rotation in a state where an icon related to camera control of a wearable electronic device is displayed, according to one embodiment.

[0279] Referring to FIG. 16C, a wearable electronic device (1600) (e.g., the electronic device (104) of FIG. 7) arranged to be rotatable along the border of the display.

[0280] For example, the icon (1620) may be displayed in response to a command to display an icon for executing a camera controller transmitted from the electronic device to the wearable electronic device (1600) based on the camera application of the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1) being executed and the stationary state (e.g., the folding state) being fixed in a flex mode. For example, the icon (1620) may be displayed at the bottom of the display of the external electronic device (1600).
