Description

Electric grill with easy-to-remove fan

[0001] The present invention relates to a portable, movable electric grill for heating and cooking food using a grill pan on the upper side and a heating element on the lower side, and more specifically, to an electric grill in which the pan placed inside the electric grill can be separated laterally, thereby facilitating cleaning or replacement of the pan.

[0002] An electric grill is a device that uses a heater to heat a grill pan, cooking meat, seafood, and other foods on the grill. When using an electric grill indoors, it generates considerable odor and smoke, and releases a large amount of fine dust, including oil vapor.

[0003] To reduce the emission of smoke, fine dust, etc., various types of electric grills have been developed, and recently, electric grills that suck in smoke through the bottom of the grill pan and discharge purified air have been developed.

[0004] These electric grills are comprised of a fan housed within a case of a certain size, a motor that rotates the fan according to the power supply, and a switch that supplies / cuts power to the motor. The user operates the switch as needed to supply power to the motor, thereby driving the fan, which draws in air from the grill, circulates it, and then expels it.

[0005] Smoke, oil, and vapor generated during the cooking process enter the electric grill. This smoke passes through the fan, entering the grill and then exiting through the circulatory system. Therefore, the fan inevitably comes into contact with foreign substances like oil and fine dust. To maintain hygienic operation, any foreign substances stuck to the grill or the fan should be removed periodically, or the fan should be replaced.

[0006] For easy cleaning, the fan must be removable from the electric grill. This also applies to fan repairs or replacement. However, conventional electric grills either have the fan fixed within the grill body or are designed to be removed from the bottom of the grill. This requires lifting the grill, which is somewhat heavy and contains various electrical components, to remove the fan, which can be inconvenient for the user.

[0007] The present invention is intended to solve the above problems, and aims to provide an electric grill in which the fan can be detached or mounted toward the side of the electric grill to facilitate detachment, cleaning, or replacement of the fan.

[0008] Additionally, the present invention aims to provide an efficient airflow and a robust internal support structure for the fan while allowing the fan to be introduced and removed through the side of the electric grill.

[0049]

[0050] Fig. 1 is a drawing showing the appearance of an electric grill according to the present invention, and Fig. 2 is a drawing showing an exploded view of the electric grill according to the present invention. Referring to Figs. 1 and 2, the electric grill is configured to include, from the bottom, a lower body (100), a side body (200), an air circulation plate (500), a heating part (600), a grill fan (700), and a cover (800).

[0051] The lower body (100) accommodates a grease trap (300) and a pan storage body (400) in a sliding manner on both sides. The grease trap (300) is provided in a form having a predetermined depth and is provided in a form in which liquid can be stored so that water can be used during cooking. When cooking, smoke sucked from the upper side of the grill pan (700) can pass through the upper part of the water stored in the grease trap (300) to come into contact with it and purify the smoke. In addition, it can accommodate foreign substances such as oil flowing down from the upper grill pan (700).

[0052] A fan housing (400) is introduced in a side direction opposite to the position of the oil pan (300) of the lower body (100). A fan (422) in the fan housing (400) is used to form an air circulation flow to suck smoke on the grill pan (700) in one direction and purify the sucked smoke by making contact with the water contained in the oil pan (300). Through the fan (422) and motor (412) in the fan housing (400), an air inlet / outlet path in the form of an air curtain is formed toward the side above the grill pan (700) of the electric grill, and the introduced air is guided to flow horizontally in the space above the oil pan (300) inside the lower body (100) and the side body (200).

[0053] The lower body (100) and the side body (200) connected to the upper portion thereof may be formed into a rectangular parallelepiped shape overall, with long sides formed opposite to each other and short sides formed shorter than the long sides. An empty space is formed inside the side body (200) connected to the upper portion of the lower body (100), and various electrical devices, an oil pan (300), a fan housing (400), etc. are arranged inside the empty space.

[0054] An air circulation plate (500), a heating element (600), and a grill fan (700) are sequentially installed on the upper portion of the side body (200). The air circulation plate (500) includes a bottom plate and side plates on both sides thereof, the bottom plate includes at least one discharge port for discharging oil dripping from the grill fan (700) to the oil receiving portion (300), and both side plates include a plurality of ventilation holes for sucking, discharging, and circulating smoke generated on the grill fan (700). As the fan in the fan housing (400) operates, air flows in through the ventilation holes in the upper part of the fan housing (400) and descends, passes through the fan, horizontally crosses the space in the lower body (100) in the side body (200), passes through the upper part of the oil pan (300), and is discharged again through the ventilation holes in the air circulation plate (500) in the upper part of the opposite side, thereby forming an air circulation flow in which air flows strongly upwards of the grill fan (700).

[0055] The heating unit (600) includes a heater, a support for supporting the heater, and a support frame for fixing the heater and the support, and a grill fan (700) can be mounted on the upper side of the heater and the support frame. The support units on both sides of the heating unit (600) are mounted on the inner groove portions on both sides of the side body (200), and a power supply unit is provided within the support units, and power is supplied to the heater (310) and the motor (412) by the power supply unit.

[0056] A fan housing (400) is inserted and installed into one side of the side body (200) and the lower body (100). The lower body (100) is provided in a form that includes a space capable of accommodating the fan housing (400). [0057]

[0058] Fig. 3 is a drawing showing a state in which a fan housing is separated from an electric grill according to the present invention. Referring to Fig. 3, the fan housing (400) slides in one direction of the side body (200) so that it can be inserted and removed.

[0059] A motor (412) to be described later and a fan (422) rotated by the motor are installed inside the fan housing (400), and the fan housing (400) is inserted and installed into the storage frame (130) of the lower body (100) through the opening of the side body (200) in a drawer-like manner.

[0060] When a user wants to remove the fan (422) from the electric grill for cleaning, replacement, repair, etc., the fan housing (400) can be easily slid out by simply pulling it sideways from its original position without having to turn the electric grill over or disassemble it, and the fan (422) or motor (412) can be accessed. The fan (422) is arranged so that it can be easily separated from the fan housing (400).

[0061]

[0062] Fig. 4 is an exploded view showing the lower structure of an electric grill according to the present invention. Referring to Fig. 4, on one of the two long sides of the lower body (100), an oil receiving portion (300) is slidably inserted into the upper part of the bottom surface (110). On the opposite side, a storage frame (130) is formed for inserting, supporting, and connecting a fan storage body (400).

[0063] The upper part of the storage frame (130) is open, and linearly formed edge parts (131) are formed on both upper ends to form the edge of the storage space. The upper storage part (136) of the storage frame (130) is an empty space, and air can be introduced from the upper part through this part. A stop support part (134) formed parallel to the edge parts (131) on both sides may be further formed in the middle part between the edge parts (131) on both sides of the upper storage part (136). The stop support part (134) serves to additionally firmly support the outer surface of the storage frame (130).

[0064] The lower and upper surfaces of the fan housing (400) are supported by the upper edge portion (131) and the stop support portion (134) formed on the bottom surface (110) and the storage frame (130), so that the fan housing (400) is secured and supported within the lower body (100) by the storage frame (130). Meanwhile, Fig. 4 is an expression in which the outer storage outer wall (401) of the fan housing (400) described later is omitted.

[0065]

[0066] FIG. 5 is a drawing showing a state in which the fan structure among the lower components of the electric grill according to the present invention is separated, and FIG. 6 is a drawing showing a state in which the fan structure among the lower components of the electric grill according to the present invention is separated in plan. Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, a horizontal side frame (120) is formed on the upper side of the bottom surface (110) at the position where the oil receiving portion (300) is arranged on one of the two long sides of the lower body (100). The oil receiving portion (300) is slidably inserted through the inlet portion (122) between the bottom surface (110) and the side frame (120) and is seated within the lower body (100).

[0067] Among the two long sides of the lower body (100), the fan housing (400) is slidably inserted through the storage side portion (132), which is an opening located on the upper side of the bottom surface (110), and is secured within the storage frame (130). The upper edge portion (131) and the stop support portion (134) of the storage frame (130) are vertically connected to the inner support portion (135) of an elongated shape located on the inner side. The inner support portion (135) serves to fix the edge portion (131) and the stop support portion (134) and at the same time limit the position at which the fan housing (400) is introduced into the interior of the lower body (100). An inner sealing member (133) is arranged on the upper side of the inner support portion (135), and the inner sealing member (133) is brought into contact with or in close contact with the bottom plate of the air circulation plate (500). In this way, the air introduced through the side plate of the air circulation plate (500) is prevented from leaking out to the bottom plate side of the air circulation plate (500) by the inner sealing member (133), and is guided to be introduced to the upper storage part (136).

[0068] The fan storage body (400) is formed with a corresponding outer surface so that it can be interlocked and installed in the inner space of the storage frame (130). The fan storage body (400) has a storage outer wall (401) formed toward the outside, and storage side walls (402) are arranged on both sides thereof.

[0069] A fan assembly (420) is placed in the internal space between these walls, and a motor (412) and a connection portion (410) on the upper side thereof are positioned on one side of the fan assembly (420). By electrically connecting to terminals, contact points, etc. formed on the storage frame (130) through the connection portion (410), power can be supplied to the motor (412).

[0070] A sealing member (430) is provided on both ends of the fan assembly (420), and when the fan housing (400) is installed inside the housing frame (130), the upper surface of the sealing member (430) comes into contact with or is in close contact with the lower surface of the edge portion (131), thereby helping air introduced into the upper housing portion (136) to flow only into the interior of the operating fan (422) without leaking out toward the two housing side walls (402).

[0071] On the upper side of the storage outer wall (401) of the fan housing (400), in an empty space position spaced apart from the fan assembly (420), a long support panel (440) supported by the storage outer wall (401) and the storage side wall (402) is provided, and the support panel (440) is also in contact with the sealing member (430) provided at both ends of the fan assembly (420). A plurality of circulation holes (442) are formed through the support panel (440) at regular intervals.

[0072] Fig. 7 is a drawing showing a fan structure according to the present invention in isolation, and Fig. 8 is a drawing showing a cross-section of the fan structure according to the present invention. Referring to Figs. 7 and 8, a fan housing inner wall (403) extends upward in a direction toward the inside of the lower body (100) of the fan housing (400) to support the inside of the fan assembly (420).

[0073] The inner wall (403) of the storage unit is lowered in height to form an exhaust groove (405) so that the inner direction of the fan assembly (420) is open. A receiving inner wall (404) without an exhaust groove (405) is formed on the side of the receiving inner wall (403), and this part surrounds the position where the motor (412) is placed. The exhaust groove (405) allows the air flow generated by the rotation of the fan (422) to be exhausted, and the separated receiving inner wall (404) on the side does not face the fan (422), but faces the motor (412) connected to the fan (422), thereby serving to receive and protect the motor (412) regardless of the air flow.

[0074] A square-shaped sealing member (430) is provided at both ends of the fan assembly (420). The upper surface of the sealing member (430) is in contact with the bottom surface of the bottom plate of the air circulation plate (500), and the outer surface of the sealing member (430) is in contact with the support panel (440).

[0075] The support panel (440) is fixedly arranged along the outer wall (401) of the storage unit and simultaneously supports the sealing member (430) of the fan assembly (420). The support panel (440) serves to reinforce the fan housing (400) itself and, at the same time, to firmly support the fan assembly (420) that rotates and vibrates to the fan housing (400), thereby preventing the motor (412), the fan (422), or the fan assembly (420) from shaking. In particular, since the sealing member (430) is formed of a flexible elastic material such as rubber or synthetic resin, vibration or noise caused by the rotation of the fan (422) can be reduced through the sealing member (430) while being supported by the support panel (440).

[0076] In addition, a circulation hole (442) is formed in the support panel (440), so that air coming down from the upper side is supplied to the circulation separation part (444), which is a separation space between the fan assembly (420) and the storage outer wall (401), through the circulation hole (442), and helps to flow into the inside of the fan assembly (420) from this part.

[0077] The fan assembly (420) includes a central fan (422) and a support frame (450) surrounding the outer side thereof. The support frame (450) includes a round edge portion (454) having a curved or arc shape on both sides, and the outer direction between them forms an open inlet (451).

[0078] As the fan (422) rotates, the air from the upper side descends to the circulation port (442), passes through the circulation separation part (444), and is introduced into the inlet port (451). The air is accelerated by the rotational force of the fan (422) and is discharged through the discharge port (459) between the upper guide wing (453) and the lower guide wing (458) along the extension direction, thereby creating a horizontal flow within the lower body (100) through the discharge groove (405) on the upper side of the storage inner wall (403).

[0079]

[0080] Fig. 9 is a drawing showing a fan assembly according to the present invention. Referring to Fig. 9, the round edge portions (454) on both sides of the support frame (450) are connected at the upper side by the upper guide portion (452), and at the lower side by the lower guide portion (456), and an inlet (451) is formed in an oblique upwardly inclined direction between the round edge portion (454), the upper guide portion (452), and the lower guide portion (456).

[0081] When the fan (422) rotates in accordance with the rotation of the motor (412), the air on the upper side can be drawn in toward the fan (422) in various directions along the upwardly inclined inlet (451). As the fan (422) rotates, the air can be discharged through the outlet (459) formed on the opposite inner side of the inlet (451), and the upper side of the outlet (459) is provided with an upper guide wing (453) that extends and bends from the upper guide part (452) and faces horizontally and / or horizontally upward, and the lower side of the outlet (459) is provided with a lower guide wing (458) that extends and wraps around the lower side of the fan (422) from the lower guide part (456) and faces horizontally and / or horizontally upward.

[0082]

[0083] Fig. 10 is a drawing showing a cross-section of a fan structure according to the present invention. Referring to Fig. 10, the lower guide portion (456) of the fan assembly (420) and the storage outer wall (401) are spaced apart at a certain interval, so that a circulation spacer portion (444) is formed therebetween, and a support panel (440) is arranged on the upper side thereof to support both sides of the fan assembly (420) and the storage outer wall (401).

[0084] The inlet (451) is open to the upper and side directions as well as the inclined direction, that is, the area spanning 90 degrees, thereby enabling smoother air intake. The outlet (459) on the opposite side is guided by the upper and lower guide wings (453) and lower guide wings (458) so that air can be discharged in a set direction.

[0085] The fan housing (400) is provided with a spaced bottom portion (409) on the bottom surface of the fan assembly (420), and the outer side of the spaced bottom portion (409) is extended vertically upward to form a receiving inner wall (408) that supports the outer lower side of the fan assembly (420). The lower side of the fan assembly (420) and the receiving inner wall (408) are in direct contact so that no circulation spaced portion (444) is provided between them, and the circulation spaced portion (444) is formed upward by the spaced bottom portion (406) that extends horizontally outward again from the end of the receiving inner wall (408). The outer end of the spaced bottom portion (406) meets the storage outer wall (401), and at this time, it is preferable to additionally form a lower extension portion (407) downward so that the user can insert a finger into the space formed between the spaced bottom portion (406) and the lower extension portion (407) to pull the fan storage body (400) outward.
