[0039] In the related art, microwave ovens, steam ovens, and other cooking appliances are typically equipped with handles on their doors for easy opening. The handles consist of a handle base and a handle cover. To meet diverse customer needs, handle covers are typically available in two types: stainless steel handle covers and plastic handle covers. However, due to significant structural differences between stainless steel and plastic handle covers, existing handle bases are typically unable to accommodate both. Therefore, during production, two different handle bases must be manufactured to accommodate both stainless steel and plastic handle covers, respectively. This results in limited component versatility in the handle assembly and increases production costs.
[0040] To this end, the present application proposes a handle assembly, the base of which can be adapted to at least two different cover bodies, thereby reducing production costs and improving the versatility of components.
[0041] Referring to Figures 1 to 7, embodiments of the first aspect of the present application provide a handle assembly for use in cooking equipment. Specifically, the handle assembly includes a base 100 and a cover. The base 100 may be made of plastic, aluminum, or other materials. The base 100 is connected to the door of the cooking equipment and has a connection side 110 located on the side of the base 100 facing away from the door. The cover can be made of metal, plastic, or other materials. In some embodiments, the cover can be a metal cover 200 or a plastic cover 300. For example, the cover can be made of stainless steel, aluminum, or plastic. The specific configuration can be determined based on user needs. The cover includes a first cover or a second cover. The first and second covers are made of different materials, and the base 100 can selectively accommodate either the first or second cover. The surface of the cover can also be provided with decorative patterns or other designs to enhance the aesthetics of the handle assembly. Specifically, the connecting side 110 is provided with a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion, and the cover body can be selectively connected to one of the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion, thereby being installed on the base body 100. The first connecting portion and the second connecting portion can be a snap-on structure, a magnetic structure, or other installation structures. The first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are used to connect different types of cover bodies. For example, when the cover body is a metal cover with a thin wall thickness and a narrow width, the cover body can be connected to the first connecting portion of the connecting side 110; when the cover body is a plastic cover with a thick wall thickness and a large width, the cover body can be connected to the second connecting portion of the connecting side 110, so that the base body 100 of the handle assembly can be connected to different cover bodies as needed, thereby improving the convenience of use.
[0042] The base body 100 of the handle assembly is provided with a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion. The base body 100 can be connected to the first cover body through the first connecting portion, and can also be connected to the second cover body through the second connecting portion, so that the base body 100 can be adapted to connect to two covers made of different materials. During production and processing, only one base body 100 needs to be processed to adapt to at least two covers, thereby improving the versatility of parts and components and helping to reduce production costs.
[0043] Referring to Figure 2 , it can be understood that in some embodiments of the present application, the connecting side 110 is concavely formed with a recessed groove 111, and the first connecting portion includes a first clamping structure and a support structure. The first clamping structure is disposed on the side wall of the recessed groove 111, and the support structure is disposed on the bottom wall of the recessed groove 111. In this case, the first connecting portion is suitable for connecting a metal cover 200 with a relatively thin wall thickness and a relatively small width. Such a cover can be embedded in the recessed groove 111 and fixed in place by the first clamping structure. At the same time, the support structure can abut against the cover to prevent the cover from being deformed under pressure.
[0044] 3 , it can be understood that in some embodiments of the present application, the first cover body is a metal cover 200 made of a metal material, such as a stainless steel cover or other metal cover 200. The surface of the metal cover 200 has a metallic luster and is comfortable to the touch, which can improve the quality of the handle assembly. The wall thickness of the metal cover 200 is usually set to be relatively thin and the width is relatively narrow. The metal cover 200 is also provided with a first matching structure that matches the first clamping structure. During installation, the metal cover 200 is pressed and embedded in the sink 111, so that the first clamping structure and the first matching structure cooperate to achieve clamping and fixing, and at the same time, the support structure can abut against the inner side 240 of the metal cover, so that the metal cover 200 can withstand greater pressure without deformation. Specifically, when the user presses the outer side of the metal cover 200, the metal cover 200 is under pressure and tends to be concave and deformed toward the support structure. However, since the support structure has already abutted against the inner side 240 of the metal cover, the metal cover 200 is blocked by the support structure and cannot be concave, so that the metal cover 200 can withstand greater pressure without deformation, which is conducive to improving the convenience of use.
[0045] 2 , in the above embodiment, specifically, the first engaging structure is configured as a first engaging block 112, and the first mating structure is configured as a first engaging hole 210. When the metal cover 200 is embedded in the recess 111, the first engaging block 112 can be engaged with the first engaging hole 210, thereby allowing the metal cover 200 to be mounted on the connection side 110 of the base 100. Of course, there may be multiple first engaging blocks 112, with multiple first engaging blocks 112 spaced apart along the sidewalls of the recess 111. Accordingly, there may also be multiple first engaging holes 210, with multiple first engaging blocks 112 corresponding to multiple first engaging holes 210, thereby further improving the stability of the metal cover 200 mounted on the base 100. Of course, to facilitate the engagement of the first engaging block 112 into the first engaging hole 210, the first engaging block 112 may also be provided with an inlet having a curved surface. Therefore, during the engagement process, the first engaging block 112 can be more smoothly engaged with the first engaging hole 210 through the inlet. It should be noted that when manufacturing the metal cover 200, the metal sheet needs to be cut and stamped, so the first latching hole 210 can only be set on the side of the metal cover 200 and cannot be set in the middle of the inner side of the metal cover 200. Specifically, both sides of the metal cover 200 along the width direction are provided with latching ears extending toward the base 100, and the middle of the latching ears is provided with the first latching hole 210. When the metal cover 200 is pressed against the base 100, the first latching block 112 squeezes the latching ears and snaps into the first latching hole 210, thereby confining the metal cover 200 to the base 100. At the same time, the support structure can abut against the inner side of the metal cover 200, making the metal cover 200 less likely to deform under pressure.
[0046] 2 , it can be understood that, in some embodiments of the present application, the support structure includes a first rib 113 and a second rib 114, and the first rib 113 and the second rib 114 are staggered in the sink 111, thereby improving the structural strength of the support structure on the one hand, and increasing the contact area between the support structure and the metal cover 200 on the other hand, thereby facilitating improving the support strength of the support structure on the metal cover 200 and reducing local deformation of the metal cover 200.
[0047] Referring to Figure 2, in the above embodiment, the first rib 113 can be arranged along the length of the base 100, and the second rib 114 can be arranged along the width of the base 100 and connected to the first rib 113. In this case, the length of the first rib 113 is relatively long, and the length of the second rib 114 is relatively short. The number of first ribs 113 can be two, and the two first ribs 113 are arranged side by side. The number of second ribs 114 can be multiple, and the multiple second ribs 114 are spaced and distributed between the two first ribs 113 along the length of the base 100. The two ends of the second rib 114 can also extend to connect with the side walls of the sink 111, thereby further improving the structural strength of the support structure. When the metal cover 200 is installed on the base 100, the contact area between the support structure and the metal cover 200 is more evenly distributed, which is beneficial to further improve the pressure resistance of the metal cover 200, reduce the deformation of the metal cover 200, and improve the aesthetics of the handle assembly.
[0048] Referring to Figures 4 to 6 , it can be understood that in some embodiments of the present application, the second cover is a plastic cover 300, and the second connecting portion includes a second snap-fit structure, which is provided with a second snap-fit hole 115. The second snap-fit hole 115 is located at the bottom of the second rib 114, enabling the second connecting portion to connect to the plastic cover 300. The plastic cover 300 has a relatively thick wall and a relatively large width, and a second snap-fit block 310 is provided on the inner side of the plastic cover 300, which engages with the second snap-fit hole 115. During installation, the plastic cover 300 is overlapped with the outer edge of the connecting side 110, and the second snap-fit block 310 is snapped into the second snap-fit hole 115, thereby attaching the plastic cover 300 to the base 100. Specifically, there are multiple second ribs 114, and at least two of the second ribs 114 have second snap-fit holes 115 at their bottoms, so that there are at least two second snap-fit holes 115. The plurality of second latching holes 115 are spaced apart, and a plurality of second latching blocks 310 are also provided. During installation, the plurality of second latching blocks 310 snap into the plurality of second latching holes 115 in a one-to-one correspondence, thereby improving the stability of the plastic cover 300 when installed on the base 100. It should be noted that the plastic cover 300 is injection-molded from plastic. To ensure sufficient structural strength, the plastic cover 300 needs to be significantly thicker than the metal cover 200. In one specific embodiment, there are two second latching blocks 310, which are spaced apart along the length of the inner side of the plastic cover 300. This helps improve the uniformity of force applied to the plastic cover 300. Furthermore, by arranging the second latching blocks 310 in the middle of the inner side of the plastic cover 300, they avoid the first latching blocks 112, facilitating a relatively thick thickness of the second latching blocks 310, thereby providing good support for the inner side of the plastic cover 300. It should be noted that the second clamping block 310 can be provided with an undercut, which can enhance the reliability of the second clamping block 310 engaging with the second clamping hole 115. It should be noted that in the above embodiment, by providing the second clamping hole 115 at the bottom of the support structure, the plastic cover 300 can be mounted on the connecting side 110 via the second clamping block 310 engaging with the second clamping hole 115, thereby improving the compatibility of the base 100. Referring to FIG6 , it can be understood that in some embodiments of the present application, the plastic cover 300 is further provided with a panel 320, which is connected to the inner side of the plastic cover 300 and can enhance the structural strength of the plastic cover 300. When the second clamping block 310 is engaged with the second clamping hole 115, the inner side of the plastic cover 300 can abut against the upper edge of the recess 111, and the panel 320 can be embedded in the recess 111, which facilitates better positioning of the plastic cover 300 and prevents the plastic cover 300 from shaking relative to the base 100. Specifically, the second clamping block 310 is disposed in the middle of the inner side of the plastic cover 300 and is located inside the enclosure 320 .During installation, the plastic cover 300 is pressed toward the connection side 110 of the base body 100, so that the second clamping block 310 is clamped in the second clamping hole 115. At the same time, the enclosure 320 is embedded in the sinking groove 111 and abuts against the side wall of the sinking groove 111, which can reduce the range of movement of the plastic cover 300. At this time, the inner side of the plastic cover 300 abuts against the upper edge of the sinking groove 111, thereby limiting the movement of the plastic cover 300 in the direction away from the base body 100.
[0049] Referring to Figure 7 , it can be understood that the handle assembly is typically quite long. To ensure that the cover is properly positioned in the longitudinal direction when installed on the base 100, in some embodiments of the present application, the base 100 is further provided with limiting portions at both ends along the longitudinal direction, and the cover is provided with mating portions that cooperate with the limiting portions. Therefore, when the cover is installed on the connection side 110 of the base 100, the limiting portions at both ends of the longitudinal direction of the base 100 can cooperate with the mating portions at both ends of the longitudinal direction of the cover, thereby ensuring that the cover is better positioned and installed on the base 100, which helps reduce the possibility of the cover becoming loose at both ends along the longitudinal direction.
[0050] It is understood that in some embodiments of the present application, one of the limiting portion and the mating portion is a snap-fitting hole 220, and the other is a snap-fitting block 230 that mates with the snap-fitting hole 220. It should be noted that both limiting portions can be snap-fitting holes 220 or snap-fitting blocks 230, or one limiting portion can be a snap-fitting hole 220 and the other a snap-fitting block 230. For example, one limiting portion can be a snap-fitting hole 220 and the corresponding mating portion can be a snap-fitting block 230, while the other limiting portion can be a snap-fitting block 230 and the corresponding mating portion can be a snap-fitting hole 220.
[0051] 7 , specifically, in some embodiments of the present application, the limiting portion at one end of the base body 100 along the length direction is a snap-fit block 230, and the limiting portion at the other end is a snap-fit hole 220. Correspondingly, the mating portion at one end of the cover body along the length direction is a snap-fit hole 220, and the mating portion at the other end is a snap-fit block 230. When the cover body is a metal cover 200 and the matching part is a clamping block 230, since the clamping block 230 is a cantilever part made of metal material at this time, it is not easy to return to its original position after deformation. Therefore, the clamping block 230 can be set to a long sheet structure, which can be easily inserted into the clamping hole 220, thereby limiting the shaking of the end of the cover body. At the same time, the other end of the metal cover 200 along the length direction is fixed to the base body 100 through the matching limit of the clamping hole 220 and the clamping block 230, and the two side edges of the metal cover 200 along the width direction are fixed to the base body 100 through the matching limit of the first clamping hole 210 and the first clamping block 112, so that the metal cover 200 can be limited and fixed on all sides, which is beneficial to improve the stability of the connection between the metal cover 200 and the base body 100. Of course, if the cover body is a plastic cover 300 and the mating portion is a snap-fit block 230, since the snap-fit block 230 is a cantilevered piece made of plastic, it has good elasticity and can return to its original position after deformation. Therefore, the snap-fit block 230 can be set as a hook-shaped structure, which can be snapped into the snap-fit hole 220, so as to achieve a better limiting effect on the end of the cover body. At the same time, the other end of the plastic cover 300 along the length direction is fixed to the base body 100 by the matching limit of the snap-fit hole 220 and the snap-fit block 230, and the inner middle part of the plastic cover 300 is fixed to the base body 100 by the matching limit of the two second snap-fit blocks 310 and the two second snap-fit holes 115, so that the plastic cover 300 can be firmly connected to the base body 100. The door assembly of the second embodiment of the present application includes a door body and a handle assembly of the first embodiment of the present application, and the handle assembly is connected to the door body. The door assembly is provided with the above-mentioned handle assembly, and the base body 100 of the handle assembly is provided with a first connecting part and a second connecting part. The first connecting part and the second connecting part can be respectively adapted to connect to different types of cover bodies. Therefore, the base body 100 can be connected to one type of cover body through the first connecting part, and can also be connected to another type of cover body through the second connecting part, so that the base body 100 can be adapted to connect to at least two different cover bodies. During production and processing, only one type of base body 100 needs to be processed to adapt to at least two types of cover bodies, thereby improving the versatility of the product and helping to reduce production costs.
[0052] The cooking device according to the third embodiment of the present application may be a microwave oven, a steam oven, or other cooking device, and includes a housing and a door assembly according to the second embodiment of the present application. A cooking cavity is formed within the housing, and the door assembly is rotatably connected to the housing to open or close the cooking cavity. The door assembly is provided with the aforementioned handle assembly, which allows a user to conveniently operate the door assembly to open or close the cooking cavity. The door assembly is provided with the aforementioned handle assembly, and the base 100 of the handle assembly is provided with a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion, respectively adapted to connect to different types of lids. Therefore, the base 100 can be connected to one type of lid via the first connecting portion and to another type of lid via the second connecting portion, thereby enabling the base 100 to be adapted to connect to at least two different lids. This allows production and processing of the base 100, which only requires processing of one type of base 100 to accommodate at least two types of lids, thereby improving product versatility and reducing production costs.
[0053] The embodiments of the present application are described in detail above in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, but the present application is not limited to the above embodiments. Various changes can be made within the scope of knowledge possessed by ordinary technicians in the relevant technical field without departing from the purpose of the present application.
