[0007] [Problem to be Solved by the Present Disclosure] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a risk determination device, a risk determination method, and a risk determination program that are capable of determining the risk of a driver's driving.
[0008] Effect of the Present Disclosure According to the present disclosure, it is possible to determine the riskiness of a driver's driving.
[0009] First, the contents of the embodiments of the present disclosure will be listed and described. (1) A risk determination device according to the embodiments of the present disclosure includes a history information acquisition unit that acquires history information indicating a behavior history of a driver of a vehicle, a determination unit that performs a determination process regarding the risk of the driver's driving of the vehicle based on the history information, and a notification unit that performs a risk notification process that notifies a first notification destination of risk information indicating the determination result when the driver's driving is determined to be risky in the determination process.
[0010] This risk determination device determines the riskiness of a driver's driving based on the driver's behavior history in the vehicle. This risk determination device can more easily detect potential risks than when determining driving risk through a short test, such as a driving skill test, and can more objectively determine driving risk based on the behavior history. If the risk determination device determines that the driver's driving of the vehicle is dangerous, it notifies a first notification destination of the determination result. The first notification destination can understand that there is a potential risk in the driver's driving.
[0011] (2) In the above (1), the first notification destination may be different from the driver.
[0012] This configuration allows the first notification recipient, who is a third party, to be made aware of the potential danger of the driver's driving.
[0013] (3) In (1) or (2) above, the risk assessment device may be provided with a service information acquisition unit that acquires service information indicating services that can be provided when the driver is not driving the vehicle, and the notification unit may notify the service information to a second notification destination different from the driver.
[0014] With this configuration, the destination of the service information notification can know that an alternative service based on the driver's driving history will be provided.
[0015] (4) In the above (3), the second notification destination may be the same as the first notification destination.
[0016] This configuration allows the notification recipient to understand the riskiness of the driver's driving and to explain that alternative services are available.
[0017] (5) In any of (1) to (4) above, the historical information may include an actual measurement value of the time required for the driver to drive the vehicle from a first location to a second location, and the judgment unit may perform the judgment process based on the actual measurement value and an estimated value of the time required for the vehicle to travel from the first location to the second location.
[0018] With this configuration, when a driver drives toward a destination, it can be determined that a long time has been spent on a detour, for example, and the driver can be notified that there is a risk of getting lost.
[0019] (6) In any of (1) to (5) above, the history information may include first location information indicating a history of the vehicle's location when the driver drove the vehicle during a first period, and second location information indicating a history of the vehicle's location when the driver drove the vehicle during a second period after the first period, and the judgment unit may perform the judgment process based on the first location information and the second location information.
[0020] With this configuration, for example, it is possible to determine that the driver has reached a location that the driver would not normally go to when driving, and the risk determination device can notify the driver that there is a risk that the driver will go to an unintended location.
[0021] (7) In any of (1) to (6) above, the history information may include a history of the position of the shift lever of the vehicle while the vehicle is stopped and a history of the rotation speed of the prime mover mounted on the vehicle, and the judgment unit may perform the judgment process based on the history of the position of the shift lever and the history of the rotation speed.
[0022] With this configuration, for example, when the vehicle is stopped, it can be determined that the driver has operated the accelerator incorrectly, and the driver can be notified that there is a risk of the driver operating the accelerator incorrectly.
[0023] (8) In any of (1) to (7) above, the history information may include the lighting history of the vehicle's hazard lights and the operation history of the vehicle's turn signal lever, and the judgment unit may perform the judgment process based on the lighting history and the operation history.
[0024] With this configuration, for example, it is possible to determine that the driver has operated the hazard lights and turn signals incorrectly, and the driver can be notified that there is a risk of making a mistake in operating the vehicle while the vehicle is moving or stopped.
[0025] (9) In any of (1) to (8) above, the historical information may include a history of the hazard lights of the vehicle being illuminated while the vehicle is traveling and a history of the speed of the vehicle, and the judgment unit may perform the judgment process based on the illumination history and the speed history.
[0026] With this configuration, for example, it is possible to determine that the driver has operated the hazard lights incorrectly while the vehicle is in motion, and therefore the driver can be notified that there is a risk of making a mistake in operating the vehicle while the vehicle is in motion.
[0027] (10) In any of (1) to (9) above, the risk assessment device may further include a correspondence information acquisition unit that acquires correspondence information indicating the correspondence between the driver's identification information and the first notification destination, the history information acquisition unit may acquire the history information and the identification information, and the notification unit may perform the risk notification process to notify the first notification destination corresponding to the identification information of the risk based on the correspondence information.
[0028] This configuration makes it possible to easily identify the recipient of the risk information.
[0029] (11) A risk judgment method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a risk judgment method in a risk judgment device, and includes the steps of acquiring historical information indicating the driver's behavioral history in a vehicle, performing a judgment process to judge the risk of the driver's driving of the vehicle based on the historical information, and, if the driver's driving is judged to be dangerous in the judgment process step, performing a risk notification process to notify a first notification destination of risk information indicating the judgment result.
[0030] This risk determination method determines the risk of driving by a driver based on the driver's behavior history in a vehicle. This risk determination method makes it easier to discover potential risks than when determining driving risk through a short test such as a driving skill test. If the risk determination method determines that the driver's driving of a vehicle is dangerous, it notifies a first notification destination of the determination result. The first notification destination can understand that there is a potential risk in the driver's driving.
[0031] (12) In the above (11), the first notification destination may be different from the driver.
[0032] This allows the first notification recipient, who is a third party, to be made aware of the potential danger of the driver's driving.
[0033] (13) A risk judgment program according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a risk judgment program used in a risk judgment device, and is a program for causing a computer to function as a history information acquisition unit that acquires history information indicating the driver's behavior history in a vehicle, a judgment unit that performs judgment processing to judge the risk of the driver's driving of the vehicle based on the history information, and a notification unit that performs risk notification processing to notify a first notification destination of risk information indicating the judgment result if the driver's driving is judged to be dangerous in the judgment processing.
[0034] This risk assessment program assesses the riskiness of a driver's driving based on the driver's behavior history in the vehicle. This makes it easier to discover potential risks than when assessing driving risk through a short test such as a driving skill test. If the risk assessment program determines that the driver's driving of the vehicle is dangerous, it notifies the first notification destination of the assessment result. The first notification destination can then understand that there is a potential risk in the driver's driving.
[0035] (14) In the above (13), the first notification destination may be different from the driver.
[0036] This allows the first notification recipient, who is a third party, to be made aware of the potential danger of the driver's driving.
[0037] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. In the drawings, identical or corresponding parts are designated by the same reference numerals, and their description will not be repeated. Furthermore, at least some of the embodiments described below may be combined in any manner.
[0038] <Risk Determination System> Fig. 1 is a diagram showing an example of the configuration of a risk determination system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to Fig. 1, the risk determination system 501 includes a risk determination device 101 and one or more in-vehicle devices 201. The risk determination device 101 and the in-vehicle devices 201 can transmit and receive information via an external network 151, such as the Internet. The risk determination device 101 is, for example, a server.
[0039] The on-board device 201 is mounted on the vehicle 1. The on-board device 201 is connected to on-board devices such as various sensors and cameras via, for example, a CAN (Controller Area Network) bus in an on-board network mounted on the vehicle 1.
[0040] The in-vehicle device 201 acquires vehicle information about its own vehicle 1 and transmits the acquired vehicle information to the risk determination device 101. The vehicle information includes, for example, measurement information indicating the measurement results of various sensors, image information indicating images captured by a camera, and location information indicating the location where the vehicle 1 is located.
[0041] More specifically, for example, the sensors detect information related to the vehicle 1. In this embodiment, for example, the sensors include a vehicle speed sensor that detects the speed of the vehicle 1, a shift lever sensor that detects the position of the shift lever, a rotation speed sensor that detects the rotation speed of an engine (hereinafter also referred to as "engine rotation speed") mounted on the vehicle 1, a hazard lamp sensor that detects operation of a hazard lamp by the driver, and a turn signal sensor that detects operation of a turn signal by the driver. The engine is an example of a prime mover.
[0042] Each sensor performs measurement processing, for example, periodically, and transmits measurement information indicating the measurement results to the in-vehicle device 201 .
[0043] The camera, for example, periodically captures an image of the area around the vehicle 1 and performs a capturing process of transmitting image information indicating the captured image to the in-vehicle device 201. The camera performs the capturing process at the same timing as the measurement process by the sensor, for example.
[0044] When the in-vehicle device 201 receives measurement information from a sensor or image information from a camera, the in-vehicle device 201 stores the received measurement information and image information in a storage unit.
[0045] The in-vehicle device 201 also performs a position acquisition process to acquire position information. As an example, the position information is coordinates (hereinafter also referred to as "vehicle coordinates") expressed by latitude and longitude indicating the position of the vehicle 1.
[0046] Specifically, the in-vehicle device 201 periodically calculates the vehicle coordinates based on radio waves from GPS (Global Positioning System) satellites and stores the location information indicating the calculated vehicle coordinates in a storage unit. The in-vehicle device 201 performs a location acquisition process at the same time as the measurement process by the sensor and the image capture process by the camera, for example.
[0047] When the in-vehicle device 201 receives the measurement information, image information, and position information, it stores the time at which each piece of information was received (hereinafter also referred to as "acquisition time") in the storage unit in association with each piece of information.
[0048] The memory unit of the in-vehicle device 201 stores identification information for identifying the vehicle 1 (hereinafter also referred to as "vehicle ID (Identifier)") and identification information for identifying the driver (hereinafter also referred to as "driver ID").
[0049] Every time a certain time has elapsed since the in-vehicle device 201 was started up, the in-vehicle device 201 transmits a group of vehicle information stored in the storage unit, the group of vehicle information including a plurality of pieces of vehicle information, a plurality of acquisition times corresponding to each of the plurality of pieces of vehicle information, a vehicle ID, and a driver ID, to the risk determination device 101. For example, every time one hour has elapsed since the in-vehicle device 201 was started up, the in-vehicle device 201 transmits the group of vehicle information to the risk determination device 101 and deletes the group of vehicle information stored in the storage unit.
[0050] When receiving a group of vehicle information from the in-vehicle device 201, the risk determination device 101 determines the risk of the driver driving the vehicle 1 based on the vehicle information included in the received group of vehicle information. The risk determination device 101 is used, for example, by a business operator that manages the operation of the vehicle 1 or an individual (hereinafter collectively referred to as a user).
[0051] <Risk Determination Device> Fig. 2 is a diagram illustrating an example of the configuration of a risk determination device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to Fig. 2, the risk determination device 101 includes a history information acquisition unit 11, a processing unit 12, and a storage unit 13. The processing unit 12 includes a determination unit 21, a creation unit 22, a service information acquisition unit 23, a notification unit 24, and a notification information acquisition unit 25. At least one of the history information acquisition unit 11 and the processing unit 12 is implemented by, for example, a processing circuit including one or more processors. The storage unit 13 is, for example, a non-volatile memory included in the processing circuit.
[0052] (History Information Acquisition Unit) The history information acquisition unit 11 acquires history information indicating the driver's behavior history in the vehicle 1, a vehicle ID, and a driver ID.
[0053] More specifically, the history information includes, for example, vehicle coordinates, measurement results of various sensors indicating the driver's operations, and information on images captured by a camera while the vehicle 1 is running or stopped. The history information is, for example, time-series vehicle information acquired by the in-vehicle device 201 while the vehicle 1 is running or stopped.
[0054] When the history information acquisition unit 11 receives a vehicle information group from the in-vehicle device 201, it acquires the history information included in the received vehicle information group, and also acquires the vehicle ID and driver ID included in the vehicle information group.
[0055] For example, the storage unit 13 stores a history table Tb1 indicating the correspondence between a vehicle ID, an acquisition time, a driver ID, and history information. In an initial state, the acquisition time, driver ID, and history information corresponding to a vehicle ID are not stored in the history table Tb1.
[0056] The history information acquisition unit 11 updates the history table Tb1 every time it receives a group of vehicle information from the in-vehicle device 201.
[0057] Specifically, for example, when the history information acquisition unit 11 receives a group of vehicle information from the in-vehicle device 201, it reads out the history table Tb1 in the storage unit 13. Then, the history information acquisition unit 11 registers the acquired history information, vehicle ID, and driver ID in association with each other for each acquisition time included in the received group of vehicle information in the history table Tb1.
[0058] FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating an example of a history table stored by the risk determination device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0059] 3, for vehicle 1 with vehicle ID "V1" driven by a driver with driver ID "D1", the latitude of the vehicle coordinates at acquisition time t1 is "L11" and the longitude is "L21". At acquisition time t1, the vehicle speed is "50 km / h", the position of the shift lever is "D" (drive), the engine speed is "2000 rpm", the hazard lights are "off", and the blinkers are "off". The image captured at acquisition time t1 is "G1".
[0060] For vehicle 1 with vehicle ID "V1" driven by a driver with driver ID "D1", the latitude of the vehicle coordinates at acquisition time t2 is "L12" and the longitude is "L22". At acquisition time t2, the vehicle speed is "80 km / h", the position of the shift lever is "D" (drive), the engine speed is "4000 rpm", the hazard lights are "off", and the turn signals are "off". The image captured at acquisition time t2 is "G2".
[0061] For vehicle 1 with vehicle ID "V1" driven by a driver with driver ID "D1", the latitude of the vehicle coordinates at acquisition time t3 is "L13" and the longitude is "L23". At acquisition time t3, the vehicle speed is "100 km / h", the position of the shift lever is "D" (drive), the engine speed is "8000 rpm", the hazard lights are "on", and the turn signals are "on". The image captured at acquisition time t3 is "G3".
[0062] When the history information acquisition unit 11 updates the history table Tb1, it outputs to the judgment unit 21 and the creation unit 22 an update completion notification R1 indicating flag information indicating that the history table Tb1 has been updated and multiple acquisition times included in the vehicle information group received from the in-vehicle device 201.
[0063] (Facility Table) FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating an example of a facility table stored by the risk determination device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0064] 2 and 4, the storage unit 13 further stores a facility table Tb2. The facility table Tb2 indicates correspondence relationships between identification information for identifying a facility (hereinafter also referred to as a "facility ID"), the name of the facility, the attribute of the facility, the purpose of use of the facility, and the location coordinates of the facility. The facility table Tb2 is, for example, registered in advance in the storage unit 13 by a user.
[0065] In facility table Tb2, the facility name corresponding to facility ID "001" is "GGG," the facility attribute is "commercial facility," the purpose of use is "shopping," and the latitude and longitude of the location coordinates are "L71" and "L81," respectively. The facility name corresponding to facility ID "002" is "HHH," the facility attribute is "hospital," the purpose of use is "visiting the hospital," and the latitude and longitude of the location coordinates are "L72" and "L82," respectively. The facility name corresponding to facility ID "003" is "JJJ," the facility attribute is "office," the purpose of use is "work," and the latitude and longitude of the location coordinates are "L73" and "L83," respectively.
[0066] (Creating Unit) The creating unit 22 updates the pattern table Tb3 indicating the driver's driving behavior patterns based on the history information acquired by the history information acquiring unit 11.
[0067] More specifically, for example, the pattern table Tb3 indicates a correspondence relationship between a driver ID, a purpose for driving the vehicle 1 (hereinafter also referred to as "driving purpose"), a destination of the vehicle 1, and destination coordinates indicating the location of the destination. The destination coordinates are expressed, for example, by latitude and longitude. In the initial state, the driving purpose, destination, and destination coordinates corresponding to the driver ID are not stored in the pattern table Tb3.
[0068] When a specified update timing, for example, a predetermined time each day, arrives, the creation unit 22 performs an estimation process to estimate the destination of the vehicle 1 for each driver ID using the history table Tb1 in the storage unit 13.
[0069] Specifically, for example, when an update timing arrives, the creation unit 22 reads out the history table Tb1 from the storage unit 13. Then, by referring to the history table Tb1, the creation unit 22 checks a plurality of acquisition times that fall within the period from 24 hours before the update timing to the update timing.
[0070] If, among the multiple acquisition times confirmed, the difference between a certain acquisition time t1 and an acquisition time t2 that is a time after the acquisition time t1 and consecutive to the acquisition time t1 is greater than a predetermined threshold value Th10, the creation unit 22 estimates the location information corresponding to the acquisition time t2, i.e., the vehicle coordinates, as the destination in the estimation process.
[0071] After estimating the destination of the vehicle 1, the creation unit 22 reads out the facility table Tb2 from the storage unit 13. Then, by referring to the facility table Tb2, the creation unit 22 identifies, as the destination attribute and driving purpose, the attributes and purpose of use of the facility corresponding to the estimated destination, i.e., the same position coordinates as the vehicle coordinates at acquisition time t2 shown in the history table Tb1.
[0072] After identifying the attributes of the destination and the driving purpose, the creation unit 22 reads out the pattern table Tb3 in the storage unit 13. Then, the creation unit 22 registers the driver ID in the pattern table Tb3 in association with the identified attributes of the destination and the driving purpose, as well as destination coordinates, which are vehicle coordinates indicating the estimated destination.
[0073] FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of an updated pattern table stored by the risk determination device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0074] 5, in the updated pattern table Tb3, a driver with driver ID "D1" drives the vehicle 1 to a destination "commercial facility" at latitude "L71" and longitude "L81" for "shopping." The driver also drives the vehicle 1 to a destination "hospital" at latitude "L72" and longitude "L82" for "visiting the hospital." The driver also drives the vehicle 1 to a destination "office" at latitude "L73" and longitude "L83" for "work."
[0075] (Determination Unit) The determination unit 21 performs a determination process to determine the risk of the driver driving the vehicle 1, that is, the potential risk, based on the history information acquired by the history information acquisition unit 11.
[0076] More specifically, for example, each time the judgment unit 21 receives an update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11, it determines in the judgment process the type of danger that occurred due to driving by the target driver and the acquisition time at which the danger occurred (hereinafter also referred to as the ``occurrence time tr'').
[0077] <Speeding> For example, in the determination process, the determination unit 21 determines the risk of speeding while driving.
[0078] Specifically, for example, the storage unit 13 stores identification information (hereinafter also referred to as "road ID") for identifying the road on which the vehicle 1 is traveling, i.e., the link, and a road table Tb4 that indicates the correspondence between road coordinates indicating the road's location, speed limits, road types, road names, and road azimuth angles. The road coordinates are composed of multiple coordinates represented by latitude and longitude, for example. The road table Tb4 is, for example, registered in advance in the storage unit 13 by the user.
[0079] FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an example of a road table stored by the risk determination device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0080] 6, in the road table Tb4, the road coordinates corresponding to the road ID "W1" are coordinates from "L31, L41" to "L35 to L45," the speed limit is "30 km / h," the type is "general road," the name is "ABC," and the azimuth angle is "120 degrees." The road coordinates corresponding to the road ID "W2" are coordinates from "L36, L46" to "L39, L49," the speed limit is "60 km / h," the type is "general road," the name is "DEF," and the azimuth angle is "120 degrees."
[0081] When the determination unit 21 receives the update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11, it reads out the history table Tb1 and the road table Tb4 from the storage unit 13. Then, by referring to the history table Tb1, the determination unit 21 identifies a plurality of pieces of position information, i.e., a plurality of vehicle coordinates, that correspond to the plurality of acquisition times indicated in the update completion notification R1.
[0082] When the determination unit 21 identifies multiple vehicle coordinates, it refers to the road table Tb4 to check, for each identified vehicle coordinate, the speed limit corresponding to the road coordinate that includes the coordinate closest to the identified vehicle coordinate.
[0083] After checking the speed limit for each identified vehicle coordinate, the determination unit 21 checks whether the vehicle speed at the acquisition time corresponding to the location information is higher than the speed limit in a determination process. If the vehicle speed is higher than the identified speed limit, the determination unit 21 determines that there is a risk of speeding and determines that the acquisition time is the occurrence time tr. If the vehicle speed is equal to or lower than the identified speed limit, the determination unit 21 determines that there is no risk of speeding.
[0084] <Vehicle Speed Unstable> Referring again to FIGS. 2 and 3, for example, in the determination process, the determination unit 21 determines the risk of a phenomenon in which the vehicle speed becomes unstable during driving (hereinafter also referred to as "vehicle speed instability").
[0085] More specifically, for example, the determination unit 21 reads the history table Tb1 when receiving the update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11. Then, by referring to the history table Tb1, the determination unit 21 identifies a plurality of vehicle speeds corresponding to a plurality of acquisition times indicated in the update completion notification R1.
[0086] When the judgment unit 21 identifies multiple vehicle speeds, it calculates the acceleration B1 of the vehicle 1 at the acquisition time t1 based on the vehicle speed at an acquisition time t1, which is one of the multiple acquisition times indicated in the update completion notification R1, and the vehicle speed at an acquisition time t2, which is a time before the acquisition time t1 and subsequent to the acquisition time t1.
[0087] Also, for example, the judgment unit 21 calculates the acceleration B2 of the vehicle 1 at the acquisition time t2 based on the vehicle speed at the acquisition time t2 and the vehicle speed at an acquisition time t3 that is prior to the acquisition time t2 and subsequent to the acquisition time t2.
[0088] In the determination process, the determination unit 21 then checks whether the sign of the acceleration B2 is different from the sign of the acceleration B1.
[0089] If the sign of acceleration B2 is different from the sign of acceleration B1, the determination unit 21 determines that there is a risk of vehicle speed instability and determines the corresponding acquisition time, for example, acquisition time t1, as the occurrence time tr. If the sign of acceleration B2 is the same as the sign of acceleration B1, the determination unit 21 determines that there is no risk of vehicle speed instability.
[0090] <Wrong-Way Driving> Referring again to FIGS. 2, 3 and 6, for example, the determination unit 21 determines the risk of wrong-way driving of the vehicle 1 in the determination process.
[0091] More specifically, for example, when the determination unit 21 receives an update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11, the determination unit 21 reads out the history table Tb1 in the storage unit 13. Then, by referring to the history table Tb1, the determination unit 21 identifies a plurality of pieces of location information corresponding to the respective acquisition times indicated in the update completion notification R1.
[0092] When the judgment unit 21 identifies multiple pieces of location information, it calculates the azimuth angle of the vehicle 1 at the acquisition time t4 (hereinafter also referred to as the "vehicle azimuth angle") based on the vehicle coordinate P4 corresponding to acquisition time t4, which is a certain acquisition time among the multiple acquisition times indicated in the update completion notification R1, and the vehicle coordinate P5 corresponding to another acquisition time t5 that is consecutive to acquisition time t4.
[0093] When the determination unit 21 calculates the vehicle azimuth angle, it reads out the road table Tb4 in the storage unit 13. Then, by referring to the road table Tb4, the determination unit 21 identifies the azimuth angle of the road corresponding to the road coordinates including the coordinates closest to the vehicle coordinate P4, and then in the determination process, checks whether the absolute value of the difference between the azimuth angle of the identified road and the calculated vehicle azimuth angle is greater than a predetermined threshold value Th1.
[0094] If the absolute value of the difference between the azimuth angle of the identified road and the calculated vehicle azimuth angle is greater than a threshold value Th1, the determination unit 21 determines that there is a risk of wrong-way driving and determines the corresponding acquisition time, for example, acquisition time t4, to be the occurrence time tr. On the other hand, if the absolute value is less than the threshold value Th1, the determination unit 21 determines that there is no risk of wrong-way driving.
[0095] <Violation> For example, in the determination process, the determination unit 21 determines the risk of the vehicle departing from the road while driving (hereinafter also referred to as "deviation").
[0096] More specifically, for example, when the determination unit 21 receives an update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11, the determination unit 21 reads out the history table Tb1 and the road table Tb4 from the storage unit 13. Then, by referring to the history table Tb1, the determination unit 21 identifies a plurality of vehicle coordinates that respectively correspond to a plurality of acquisition times indicated in the update completion notification R1.
[0097] After identifying the vehicle coordinates, the determination unit 21 refers to the road table Tb4 to identify a road coordinate group including coordinates closest to the vehicle coordinates for each piece of position information, and then calculates the distance Y between each coordinate included in the identified road coordinate group and the vehicle coordinate.
[0098] The determination unit 21 checks whether at least one of the calculated distances Y is greater than a predetermined threshold value Th2.
[0099] If at least one of the calculated distances Y is greater than the threshold value Th2, the determination unit 21 determines that there is a risk of departure and determines the corresponding acquisition time as the occurrence time tr. On the other hand, if all of the calculated distances Y are less than the threshold value Th2, the determination unit 21 determines that there is no risk of departure.
[0100] <Meandering Driving> For example, in the determination process, the determination unit 21 determines the risk of meandering driving. More specifically, for example, when the determination unit 21 receives an update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11, the determination unit 21 reads the history table Tb1 from the storage unit 13. Then, by referring to the history table Tb1, the determination unit 21 identifies multiple pieces of position information corresponding to the multiple acquisition times indicated in the update completion notification R1, and then calculates the vehicle azimuth angle for each acquisition time using a method similar to the process of calculating the vehicle azimuth angle described above. The determination unit 21 creates time-series vehicle azimuth angle data that indicates time-series changes in the vehicle azimuth angle.
[0101] The judgment unit 21 checks whether the positive / negative sign F1 of the vehicle azimuth angle at a certain acquisition time differs from the positive / negative sign F2 of the vehicle azimuth angle at another acquisition time subsequent to the acquisition time in the created time-series vehicle azimuth angle data.
[0102] When the positive / negative sign F1 and the positive / negative sign F2 are different, the determination unit 21 determines that there is a risk of meandering and determines the corresponding acquisition time as the occurrence time tr. On the other hand, when the positive / negative sign F1 and the positive / negative sign F2 are the same, the determination unit 21 determines that there is no risk of meandering.
[0103] <Lost Driving> For example, in the determination process, the determination unit 21 determines the risk of the driver getting lost while driving (hereinafter also referred to as "lost driving").
[0104] More specifically, for example, in addition to updating the history table Tb1, the history information acquisition unit 11 calculates the actual measured value of the time required for the driver to drive the vehicle 1 from the first point Q1 to the second point Q2, based on the vehicle information group from the in-vehicle device 201. Note that the terms "first" and "second" do not imply a priority order.
[0105] Specifically, for example, the storage unit 13 further stores a location list indicating the coordinates of the first location Q1 and the coordinates of the second location Q2.
[0106] When the history information acquisition unit 11 receives a group of vehicle information from the in-vehicle device 201, it checks whether the multiple location information included in the group of vehicle information includes location information P11 indicating vehicle coordinates that are the same as the coordinates of the first location Q1 indicated in the location list, and location information P12 indicating vehicle coordinates that are the same as the coordinates of the second location Q2 indicated in the location list.
[0107] When location information P11 and P12 are included among multiple pieces of location information contained in the vehicle information group from the in-vehicle device 201, the history information acquisition unit 11 identifies the acquisition time t11 corresponding to the location information P11 and the acquisition time t12 corresponding to the location information P12.
[0108] After identifying the acquisition times t11 and t12, the history information acquisition unit 11 subtracts the acquisition time t11 from the acquisition time t12 to calculate the actual measurement value N1 of the required time. Then, the history information acquisition unit 11 outputs the calculated actual measurement value N1 to the determination unit 21, including it in the update completion notification R1.
[0109] The storage unit 13 further stores an estimated value N2 of the travel time required for the vehicle 1 to travel from the first point Q1 to the second point Q2.
[0110] For example, the determination unit 21 performs a determination process regarding the risk of lost driving based on the actual measurement value N1 calculated by the history information acquisition unit 11 and the estimated value N2 stored in the storage unit 13.
[0111] Specifically, for example, when the judgment unit 21 receives an update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11, it checks whether the difference between the actual measured value N1 included in the update completion notification R1 and the estimated value N2 stored in the memory unit 13 is greater than a predetermined threshold value Th3.
[0112] When the difference between the actual measurement value N1 and the estimated value N2 is greater than the threshold value Th3, the determination unit 21 determines that there is a risk of lost driving and determines the corresponding acquisition time, for example, acquisition time t11, as the occurrence time tr. On the other hand, when the difference between the actual measurement value N1 and the estimated value N2 is less than the threshold value Th3, the determination unit 21 determines that there is no risk of lost driving.
[0113] <Unnatural Driving> For example, in the determination process, the determination unit 21 determines the risk of the driver heading to an unintended location (hereinafter also referred to as "unnatural driving").
[0114] More specifically, for example, the history information acquisition unit 11 acquires history information including first location information indicating a history of the locations of the vehicle 1 when the driver drove the vehicle 1 in a first period, and second location information indicating a history of the locations of the vehicle 1 when the driver drove the vehicle 1 in a second period after the first period. When acquiring the history information, the history information acquisition unit 11 updates the history table Tb1 in the storage unit 13.
[0115] For example, the determination unit 21 performs a determination process regarding the risk of reckless driving based on the first location information and the second location information acquired by the history information acquisition unit 11 .
[0116] Specifically, for example, when the determination unit 21 receives the update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11, it estimates the destination of the vehicle 1 in the same manner as the estimation process by the creation unit 22 described above.
[0117] After estimating the destination, the determination unit 21 reads out the pattern table Tb3 in the storage unit 13. Then, the determination unit 21 refers to the pattern table Tb3 to check whether the estimated destination is registered in the pattern table Tb3.
[0118] When the estimated destination is not registered in the pattern table Tb3, the determination unit 21 determines that there is a risk of unnatural driving and determines the corresponding acquisition time as the occurrence time tr. On the other hand, when the estimated destination is registered in the pattern table Tb3, the determination unit 21 determines that there is no risk of unnatural driving.
[0119] <Accelerator Misapplication> Referring again to FIGS. 2 and 3, in the determination process, for example, the determination unit 21 determines the risk of accelerator misapplication while the vehicle 1 is stopped.
[0120] More specifically, for example, the history information acquisition unit 11 acquires history information including a history of the position of the shift lever of the vehicle 1 and a history of the engine speed while the vehicle 1 is stopped. When the history information acquisition unit 11 acquires the history information, it updates the history table Tb1 in the storage unit 13.
[0121] For example, the determination unit 21 performs a determination process regarding the risk of accidentally stepping on the accelerator based on the history of the shift lever position and the history of the engine speed included in the history information acquired by the history information acquisition unit 11 .
[0122] Specifically, for example, in the judgment process, the judgment unit 21 checks whether the history of the shift lever position and the history of the engine rotation speed included in the history information acquired by the history information acquisition unit 11 satisfy a predetermined condition C1.
[0123] In this embodiment, for example, the predetermined condition C1 is that the position of the shift lever is neutral N and the engine speed is 2000 rpm or higher while the vehicle 1 is stopped.
[0124] Specifically, for example, when the determination unit 21 receives an update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11, the determination unit 21 reads out the history table Tb1 in the storage unit 13. Then, by referring to the history table Tb1, the determination unit 21 identifies a plurality of pieces of measurement information corresponding to the plurality of acquisition times indicated in the update completion notification R1.
[0125] Then, for each piece of the identified measurement information, the determination unit 21 checks whether the position of the shift lever and the engine speed satisfy a predetermined condition C1.
[0126] If the shift lever position and engine speed indicated by at least one of the identified pieces of measurement information satisfy a predetermined condition C1, the determination unit 21 determines that there is a risk of accelerator misapplication and determines the corresponding acquisition time as the occurrence time tr. On the other hand, if the shift lever position and engine speed indicated by each piece of identified measurement information do not satisfy the predetermined condition C1, the determination unit 21 determines that there is no risk of accelerator misapplication.
[0127] <Operation Error> For example, in the determination process, the determination unit 21 determines whether the driver has operated the hazard lamps and the turn signals incorrectly.
[0128] More specifically, for example, the history information acquisition unit 11 acquires history information including the illumination history of the hazard lamps of the vehicle 1 and the operation history of the turn signal lever of the vehicle 1. When acquiring the history information, the history information acquisition unit 11 updates the history table Tb1 in the storage unit 13.
[0129] For example, the judgment unit 21 performs judgment processing regarding the driver's incorrect operation of the hazard lamps and turn signals based on the hazard lamp illumination history and turn signal lever operation history included in the history information acquired by the history information acquisition unit 11.
[0130] Specifically, for example, in the judgment process, the judgment unit 21 checks whether the hazard lamp illumination history and the turn signal lever operation history included in the history information acquired by the history information acquisition unit 11 satisfy a predetermined condition C2.
[0131] In this embodiment, for example, the predetermined condition C2 is that the hazard lamps are on and the blinkers are operating at a certain acquisition time.
[0132] Specifically, for example, the determination unit 21 reads the history table Tb1 when receiving an update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11. Then, by referring to the history table Tb1, the determination unit 21 identifies a plurality of pieces of measurement information corresponding to the plurality of acquisition times indicated in the update completion notification R1.
[0133] Then, for each piece of the identified measurement information, the determination unit 21 checks whether the hazard lamp illumination history and the blinker operation history satisfy a predetermined condition C2.
[0134] If the hazard lamp illumination history and the blinker operation history indicated by at least one of the identified plurality of pieces of measurement information satisfy a predetermined condition C2, the determination unit 21 determines that there is a risk of an operation error and determines the corresponding acquisition time as the occurrence time tr. On the other hand, if the hazard lamp illumination history and the blinker operation history indicated by each of the identified pieces of measurement information do not satisfy the predetermined condition C2, the determination unit 21 determines that there is no risk of an operation error.
[0135] In addition, for example, in the determination process, the determination unit 21 makes a determination regarding an operation error of the hazard lamps while the vehicle 1 is traveling.
[0136] More specifically, for example, the history information acquisition unit 11 acquires history information including a history of when the hazard lamps of the vehicle 1 are turned on while the vehicle 1 is traveling and a history of the speed of the vehicle 1. When acquiring the history information, the history information acquisition unit 11 updates the history table Tb1 in the storage unit 13.
[0137] For example, the determination unit 21 performs a determination process regarding an operation error of the hazard lamps based on the lighting history of the hazard lamps and the history of the speed of the vehicle 1 included in the history information acquired by the history information acquisition unit 11.
[0138] Specifically, for example, in the judgment process, the judgment unit 21 checks whether the hazard lamp illumination history and vehicle speed history included in the history information acquired by the history information acquisition unit 11 satisfy a predetermined condition C3.
[0139] In this embodiment, for example, the predetermined condition C3 is that the hazard lamps are turned on and the vehicle speed is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value Th4.
[0140] Specifically, for example, when the determination unit 21 receives an update completion notification R1 from the history information acquisition unit 11, the determination unit 21 reads out the history table Tb1 in the storage unit 13. Then, by referring to the history table Tb1, the determination unit 21 identifies a plurality of pieces of measurement information corresponding to the plurality of acquisition times indicated in the update completion notification R1.
[0141] Then, the determination unit 21 checks whether or not the specified condition C3 is satisfied for each piece of the specified measurement information.
[0142] If the hazard lamp illumination history and vehicle speed indicated by at least one of the specified plurality of pieces of measurement information satisfy a predetermined condition C3, the determination unit 21 determines that there is a risk of an operation error and determines the corresponding acquisition time as the occurrence time tr. On the other hand, if the hazard lamp illumination history and vehicle speed indicated by each of the specified measurement information do not satisfy the predetermined condition C3, the determination unit 21 determines that there is no risk of an operation error.
[0143] <Risk Table> For example, the storage unit 13 stores a risk table Tb5 that indicates the correspondence between a vehicle ID, a driver ID, an occurrence time tr, a type of risk, location information, speed information indicating the speed of the vehicle 1, and image information. In the initial state, the driver ID, occurrence time tr, type of risk, location information, speed information, and image information corresponding to the vehicle ID are not registered in the risk table Tb5.
[0144] When the determination unit 21 determines in the determination process that the driver's driving of the vehicle 1 is dangerous, it updates the danger table Tb5.
[0145] More specifically, for example, if the judgment unit 21 determines in the judgment process that the driver's driving of the vehicle 1 is dangerous, it refers to the history table Tb1 shown in Figure 3 to identify the vehicle ID, driver ID, location information, speed information, and image information corresponding to the occurrence time tr determined in the judgment process.
[0146] When the determination unit 21 identifies the vehicle ID, driver ID, position information, speed information, and image information corresponding to the occurrence time tr, it reads out the risk table Tb5 in the storage unit 13. Then, the determination unit 21 registers the identified vehicle ID, driver ID, position information, speed information, and image information in the risk table Tb5, in association with the type of risk determined in the determination process and the occurrence time tr.
[0147] FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating an example of a risk table created by the risk determination device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0148] 7, in the risk table Tb5, a driver with a driver ID of "D1" who drives a vehicle 1 with a vehicle ID of "V1" is at risk of "speeding" at the occurrence time "t3", and the latitude and longitude of the vehicle coordinates corresponding to the occurrence time "t3" are "L13" and "L23", respectively, the vehicle speed is "100 km / h", and the image information is "G3". Also, the driver is at risk of "wrong-way driving" at the occurrence time "t2", and the latitude and longitude of the vehicle coordinates corresponding to the occurrence time "t2" are "L12" and "L22", respectively, the vehicle speed is "80 km / h", and the image information is "G2".
[0149] When the determination unit 21 updates the risk table Tb5, it notifies the service information acquisition unit 23 and the notification unit 24 of the driver ID corresponding to the type of risk determined in the determination process.
[0150] (Service Information Acquisition Unit) For example, the service information acquisition unit 23 acquires service information indicating services that can be provided when the driver is not driving the vehicle 1 .
[0151] FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating an example of a service provision table stored by the risk determination device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0152] 2 and 8, the storage unit 13 further stores a service provision table Tb6. The service provision table Tb6 indicates the correspondence between identification information for identifying a service provider (hereinafter also referred to as a "provider ID") and service information. The service provision table Tb6 is registered in the storage unit 13 in advance by, for example, a user.
[0153] In the service provision table Tb6, the service information corresponding to the provider ID "S1" includes the service purpose "shopping," the service content "door-to-door sales," the name of the person in charge "DDD," the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of the website where the service is provided, and the service provision range "range A1." The service information corresponding to the provider ID "S2" includes the service purpose "shopping," the service content "clothing sales," the name of the person in charge "EEE," the URL of the website where the service is provided, and the service provision range "range A2." The service information corresponding to the provider ID "S3" includes the service purpose "hospital visits," the service content "online medical consultation," the name of the person in charge "FFF," the URL of the website where the service is provided, and the service provision range "range A3."
[0154] When receiving the notification from the determination unit 21, the service information acquisition unit 23 reads out the pattern table Tb3 and the service provision table Tb6 in the storage unit 13. Then, by referring to the pattern table Tb3, the service information acquisition unit 23 identifies one or more driving purposes corresponding to the driver ID notified from the determination unit 21. Here, the service information acquisition unit 23 identifies one driving purpose.
[0155] When the service information acquisition unit 23 identifies the driving purpose, it refers to the service provision table Tb6 to identify service information that includes the same purpose as the driving purpose. Then, the service information acquisition unit 23 outputs the identified service information to the notification unit 24.
[0156] (Notification Unit) For example, when the determination unit 21 determines that the driver's driving of the vehicle 1 is dangerous in the determination process, the notification unit 24 performs a risk notification process of notifying a first notification destination other than the driver of risk information indicating the determination result, and also performs a service notification process of notifying a second notification destination other than the driver of service information acquired by the service information acquisition unit 23. In this embodiment, the first notification destination and the second notification destination are the same notification destination U1.
[0157] More specifically, the risk information includes, for example, flag information to be requested to the notification destination U1. The risk information is registered in advance in the storage unit 13 by, for example, the user.
[0158] When the notification unit 24 receives a notification from the determination unit 21 and service information from the service information acquisition unit 23 , the notification unit 24 acquires risk information from the storage unit 13 .
[0159] The storage unit 13 further stores a notification table Tb7 that indicates the correspondence between the driver ID and information related to the notification destination (hereinafter also referred to as "notification destination information"). The notification table Tb7 is, for example, registered in advance in the storage unit 13 by a user. The notification table Tb7 is an example of correspondence information.
[0160] FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating an example of a notification table stored by the risk determination device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0161] 9, in notification table Tb7, the notification destination information corresponding to driver ID "D1" includes the notification destination attribute "child," the notification destination name "AAA," and a telephone number and email address as contact points. The notification destination information corresponding to driver ID "D2" includes the notification destination attribute "city hall employee," the notification destination name "BBB," and a telephone number and email address as contact points. The notification destination information corresponding to driver ID "D3" includes the notification destination attribute "doctor," the notification destination name "CCC," and a telephone number and email address as contact points.
[0162] 2 , for example, the notification information acquisition unit 25 acquires a notification table Tb7. The notification unit 24 performs a risk notification process and a service notification process to the notification destination U1 corresponding to the driver ID acquired by the history information acquisition unit 11, based on the notification table Tb7 acquired by the notification information acquisition unit 25.
[0163] More specifically, for example, when the notification unit 24 receives a notification from the judgment unit 21 and service information from the service information acquisition unit 23, it notifies the notification information acquisition unit 25 of the driver ID notified by the judgment unit 21.
[0164] The notification information acquisition unit 25 reads the notification table Tb7 when receiving a notification from the notification unit 24. Then, the notification information acquisition unit 25 refers to the notification table Tb7 to identify notification destination information corresponding to the driver ID indicated in the notification, and then outputs the identified notification destination information to the notification unit 24.
[0165] For example, when notification unit 24 receives notification destination information from notification information acquisition unit 25, it checks the email address indicated by the contact information included in the notification destination information. Notification unit 24 sends an email in HTML (HyperText Markup Language) format to the email address as the destination, and including the created risk information and the service information from service information acquisition unit 23.
[0166]
[0062] Fig. 10 is a flowchart showing the operational procedure when the risk determination device 101 performs risk notification processing when receiving a group of vehicle information from one in-vehicle device.
[0167] Referring to FIG. 10, first, the risk determination device 101 receives a group of vehicle information from the in-vehicle device 201 (step S101).
[0168] Next, the risk determination device 101 uses the received vehicle information group to update the history table Tb1 in the storage unit 13. For example, as described above, the risk determination device 101 registers the acquired history information, vehicle ID, and driver ID in association with each other for each acquisition time included in the received vehicle information group in the history table Tb1 (step S102).
[0169] The risk determination device 101 receives a new group of vehicle information from the in-vehicle device 201 (step S101) until the specified update timing arrives (NO in step S103), and updates the history table Tb1 using the new group of vehicle information (step S102).
[0170] Next, when the update timing arrives (YES in step S103), the risk determination device 101 uses the updated history table Tb1 to update the pattern table Tb3, which indicates the driver's driving behavior patterns. For example, as described above, the risk determination device 101 estimates the destination of the vehicle 1 using the updated history table Tb1, and identifies the attributes of the destination and the driver's driving purpose using the facility table Tb2. Then, the risk determination device 101 associates the driver ID with the identified attributes of the destination, the driver's driving purpose, and destination coordinates indicating the location of the destination in the pattern table Tb3 in the storage unit 13 (step S104).
[0171] Next, the risk determination device 101 performs a determination process for each driver ID to determine the risk of the driver driving the vehicle 1 (step S105).
[0172] Next, if the risk determination device 101 determines in the determination process that the driver's driving of the vehicle 1 is dangerous (YES in step S106), it acquires service information that can be provided when the driver does not drive the vehicle 1. For example, as described above, the risk determination device 101 acquires the service information by referring to the pattern table Tb3 and the service provision table Tb6 in the memory unit 13 (step S107).
[0173] Next, the risk determination device 101 notifies the notification destination U1, which is different from the driver, of risk information indicating the determination result in the determination process and the acquired service information. For example, as described above, the risk determination device 101 identifies the contact information of the notification destination U1 corresponding to the driver ID by referring to the notification table Tb7 in the storage unit 13. Then, the risk determination device 101 notifies the identified contact information of the risk destination information and the service information (step S108).
[0174] On the other hand, if the risk judgment device 101 makes a negative judgment regarding the risk of the driver driving the vehicle 1 during the judgment process (NO in step S106), it stores the new vehicle information group received from the in-vehicle device 201 in the memory unit 13 (step S101).
[0175] When receiving a group of vehicle information from a plurality of in-vehicle devices 201, the risk determination device 101 may be configured to perform the processes shown in FIG. 10 for each driver ID.
[0176] Furthermore, in the risk determination system 501 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the risk determination device 101 may be configured to notify the notification destination U1 of risk information indicating the type of risk determined in the determination process.
[0177] Furthermore, in the risk determination system 501 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the risk determination device 101 is configured to perform a risk notification process and a service notification process when it determines in the determination process that the driver's driving of the vehicle 1 is dangerous, but this is not limited to this. The risk determination device 101 may also be configured not to perform the service notification process.
[0178] In addition, in the risk determination system 501 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the risk determination device 101 is configured to notify the risk information and the service information to the same notification destination U1, but this is not limited to this. The risk determination device 101 may be configured to notify the risk information and the service information to different notification destinations. The notification destination U1 may be the driver.
[0179] Furthermore, in the risk determination system 501 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the risk determination device 101 is configured to perform risk notification processing and service notification processing when it determines in the determination processing that there is a risk of speeding or the like, but this is not limited to this. The risk determination device 101 may be configured to calculate the probability that the driver will engage in risky driving such as speeding in the determination processing, and to perform risk notification processing and service notification processing when the calculated probability is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold.
[0180] Furthermore, in the risk determination system 501 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the risk determination device 101 is configured to determine the risks of speeding, unstable vehicle speed, wrong-way driving, deviation from the road, snaking driving, lost driving, unnatural driving, accelerator misapplication, and operational errors in the determination process, but this is not limited to this. The risk determination device 101 may be configured to determine some of these risks in the determination process. Furthermore, the risk determination device 101 may be configured to determine other risks different from these risks in the determination process.
[0181] Furthermore, in the risk determination system 501 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the risk determination device 101 is configured to perform risk notification processing and service notification processing for the notification destination U1 corresponding to the driver ID acquired from the in-vehicle device 201 based on the notification table Tb7 in the storage unit 13, but this is not limited to this. The risk determination device 101 may also be configured to perform risk notification processing and service notification processing for a predetermined notification destination regardless of the driver ID.
[0182] Furthermore, some or all of the functions of the risk determination device 101 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure may be provided by cloud computing, and the risk determination device 101 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure may be a cloud server configured by a plurality of servers.
