Abstract
Description
Prefabricated floating structures
[0001] Embodiments of the present invention relate to an assembled floating structure. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention relate to an assembled floating structure capable of floating on the surface of a lake, river, or sea.
[0002] Floating bodies are a means of providing a fixed area of space while floating on the water, and are installed and used for purposes such as providing a place for leisure activities such as a marine playground or fishing, a means of transporting people or objects by assisting general ships, and a temporary bridge for military training.
[0003] Examples of floating structures primarily used on the sea or lake include pontoons and barges. A pontoon is a structure connected to land, while a barge (mooring facility) is a structure not connected to land.
[0004] The above-mentioned floating dock is a pier-mounted berthing facility that connects a barge to a pier. The floating dock is subject to vertical movement due to sea level fluctuations and horizontal movement due to wave height. It is used to facilitate the movement of people disembarking from ships to land and boarding ships from land. It is also used as a marine workshop and water leisure facility.
[0005] The above barges are a general term for cargo carriers used in canals, rivers, and ports. Most are not self-propelled and therefore slow. Barges are used as berthing facilities for various vessels at sea. They are also used as basic floating structures for the construction of floating solar power plants in reservoirs, dams, and other locations, where solar panels are installed atop moorings.
[0006] Conventional floats installed in lakes or rivers can be damaged by water levels. This is especially true in today's climate, where droughts and heavy rains are recurring due to abnormal weather phenomena. This can lead to rapid changes in water levels at the location where the floats are installed, making them susceptible to damage.
[0007] Embodiments of the present invention provide an assembled floating structure that can secure not only excellent assembly properties but also excellent durability despite rapid changes in water level.
[0008] According to embodiments of the present invention, an assembled floating structure includes a plurality of polygonal floating bodies, each of which has a first groove and a second groove formed along a first direction on a lower surface and an upper surface, a vertical groove formed along a vertical direction on a side wall, and arranged so that adjacent side walls face each other so that the first grooves and the second grooves extend along the first direction, a plurality of first support members arranged within the first grooves along the first direction and spaced apart at a predetermined interval along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a plurality of second support members arranged within the second grooves along the first direction and spaced apart at a predetermined interval along the first direction, and connecting members extending along the vertical direction within the vertical grooves between side walls of adjacent polygonal members to interconnect the first and second support members.
[0009] In one embodiment of the present invention, each of the polygonal floats has a hexagonal prism shape, and each of the first and second grooves can extend as a pair to each of the lower surface and the lower surfaces of one polygonal float.
[0010] Here, at each of the edges where the side walls included in the polygonal floating bodies meet, fastening protrusions may be formed at positions that sequentially increase in the clockwise direction.
[0011] Additionally, a fastening member may be provided in the fastening hole formed in the above fastening projection.
[0012] In one embodiment of the present invention, H-beam members arranged to be spaced apart from each other along the first direction may be additionally provided on top of the second support members.
[0013] Here, a cover member may be additionally provided to cover the upper portion of the H-beam members.
[0014] In one embodiment of the present invention, perforated tubes arranged to be spaced apart from each other along the first direction may be additionally provided at the lower portion of the first support members.
[0015] In one embodiment of the present invention, a fastening member may be provided that fastens the upper and lower ends of each of the connecting members to the first and second supporting members.
[0016] According to embodiments of the present invention, the prefabricated floating structure may have a scaffolding structure by arranging the first support members, the second support members, and the connecting members to intersect each other. Accordingly, the prefabricated floating structure may support a structure having a large load placed thereon.
[0017] Furthermore, a polygonal float is arranged within the space formed by the first support members, the second support members, and the connecting members. Accordingly, the polygonal float can be safely maintained against waves or swells.
[0018] Additionally, the assembled floating structure can be expanded using the first and second support members along the first or second direction. Accordingly, the assembled floating structure has sufficient width or depth to enable vehicles and the like to safely move upward.

[0028] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating an assembled floating structure according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a plan view illustrating the assembled floating structure of FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is a plan view illustrating an example of the polygonal floating body of FIG. 1. FIG. 4 is a plan view illustrating the polygonal floating bodies and second support members of FIG. 1.
[0029] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, an assembled floating structure (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a polygonal floating body (100), first support members (210), second support members (220), and connecting members (250).
[0030] The polygonal float (100) may float on the water surface. The polygonal float (100) may have, for example, a square column or a hexagonal column shape. The polygonal floats (100) may be stacked vertically. Furthermore, the polygonal floats (100) may be interconnected along a first direction or a second direction to expand to have a larger width or depth.
[0031] The polygonal float (100) is disposed within a space formed by first support members (210), second support members (220), and connecting members (250). The first support members (210), second support members (220), and connecting members (250) can fix the polygonal float disposed within the space. Accordingly, the polygonal float (100) can be safely maintained against waves or swells.
[0032] Referring to FIG. 3, each of the polygonal floating bodies (100) includes a lower surface having a polygonal shape, an upper surface (111) facing the lower surface, and side walls (113) interconnecting the lower surface and the upper surface (111).
[0033] A first groove and a second groove (117) are formed along the first direction on each of the lower surface and upper surface (111). A portion of the first support member (210; see Fig. 1) or the second support member (220) may be embedded in each of the first groove and the second groove (117).
[0034] Meanwhile, each side wall (113) is formed with a vertical groove (118) along a vertical direction. The adjacent vertical grooves (118) are arranged to face each other. At this time, the vertical grooves (118) arranged to face each other can define a connecting groove. A connecting member (250) can be embedded in the connecting groove.
[0035] Referring again to FIGS. 1 and 2, the first support members (210) are arranged within the first grooves along the first direction. The first support members (210) are arranged to be spaced apart at regular intervals along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
[0036] Meanwhile, the second support members (220) are arranged within the second grooves along the first direction. In addition, the second support members (220) may be arranged to be spaced apart at regular intervals along the first direction.
[0037] Each of the above connecting members (250) extends along the vertical direction between the side walls of adjacent polygonal members. In addition, the connecting members (250) may be installed within connecting grooves defined by adjacent vertical grooves (118).
[0038] According to an assembled floating structure according to an embodiment of the present invention, the assembled floating structure (200) can have a scaffolding structure by arranging the first support members (210), the second support members (220), and the connecting members (250) to intersect each other. Accordingly, the assembled floating structure (200) can support a structure having a large load placed thereon.
[0039] In addition, the assembled floating structure (200) can be expanded using the first and second support members (210, 220) along the first or second direction. Accordingly, the assembled floating structure (200) has sufficient width or depth so that a vehicle or the like can safely move upward.
[0040] Furthermore, since the polygonal floats (100) are arranged within the space formed by the first support members (210), the second support members (220), and the connecting members (250), the polygonal floats (100) are surrounded by the first support members (210), the second support members (220), and the connecting members (250). Therefore, even if the water level of the location where the assembled floating structure (200) is located changes rapidly, the polygonal floats (100) can be protected by the first support members (210), the second support members (220), and the connecting members (250). Therefore, the assembled floating structure (200) can secure excellent durability by safely protecting the polygonal floats (100).
[0041] Referring again to FIG. 3, when each of the polygonal floats (100) has a hexagonal prism shape, each of the first and second grooves (117) can be extended as a pair to each of the lower surface and the lower surface of one polygonal float. That is, as a pair of first grooves and a pair of second grooves (117) are formed on the upper surface and the lower surface of one polygonal float, a pair of first support members (210) and a pair of second support members (220) can fix the upper and lower surfaces of one polygonal float (100).
[0042] Referring to Fig. 3, the polygonal float (100) may have, for example, a hexagonal prism shape. The polygonal float (100) has side walls connecting the upper and lower surfaces. A fastening protrusion may be formed at the center of each of the side walls.
[0043] In this case, the fastening protrusions (191, 192, 193, 194, 195, 196) may include first to sixth fastening protrusions (191, 192, 193, 194, 195, 196) in a clockwise direction. At this time, the first and fourth fastening protrusions (191, 194), the second and fifth fastening protrusions (192, 195), and the third and sixth fastening protrusions (193, 196) may each have the same formation position. Accordingly, when three polygonal floats (100) are interconnected, the fastening protrusions of the three polygonal floats (100) that are adjacent to each other are stacked to form a stacked fastening structure, so that the three polygonal floats (100) can be assembled with each other.
[0044] Each of the above fastening projections is formed with a fastening hole (197). The fastening hole (197) penetrates vertically.
[0045] Additionally, a fastening member (not shown) may be provided in the fastening hole (197) formed on the fastening protrusions stacked in the vertical direction.
[0046] Meanwhile, a vertical groove (118) is formed to extend vertically at each of the two ends of the second groove (117) formed on the upper surface. At this time, the vertical groove (118) can extend vertically and be connected to the two ends of the first groove (117) formed on the lower surface.
[0047] In this way, the connecting member installed inside the connecting groove defined by the adjacent vertical grooves can be interconnected with the first and second support members.
[0048] Referring to Fig. 4, the portion where the mutually contacting side walls (113) meet is defined as an edge portion. Fastening protrusions (190) are formed on the edge portion. The fastening protrusions are provided with fastening holes (197) that penetrate vertically.
[0049] Referring again to FIGS. 1 and 2, H-beam members (282) arranged to be spaced apart from each other along the first direction may be arranged on top of the second support members (220). The H-beam members are arranged to intersect with the second support members (220). Therefore, the H-beam members (282) can improve the strength of the assembled floating structure.
[0050] Additionally, a cover plate (not shown) may be additionally placed to cover the upper portion of the H-beam members (282). A bridge, house, or various floating structures may be placed on the upper portion of the cover plate.
[0051] Meanwhile, H-beam members (281) arranged to be spaced apart from each other along the second direction may be additionally arranged at the lower portion of the first support members (210).
[0052] In one embodiment of the present invention, perforated pipes (not shown) may be additionally arranged at a distance from each other along the first direction below the first support members (210). Air may be injected into the perforated pipes. As a result, the perforated pipes may provide additional buoyancy to the prefabricated floating structure (200).
[0053] Referring to Fig. 4, a fastening member (240) may be provided that fastens the upper and lower ends of each of the connecting members (250) to the first and second support members (210, 220) in a bolt-nut manner. The fastening member (240) may include, for example, a bolt and a nut.
[0054] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a second polygonal float (120) may be additionally fastened to the outer portion of the prefabricated floating structure (200). The second polygonal float (120) may be used as a garden by planting vegetation on its upper portion.
[0055] The assembled floating structure according to embodiments of the present invention is an assembled floating structure that can secure not only excellent assembly properties but also excellent durability despite rapid changes in water level, and can be installed on the surface of a lake, river, or sea.
[0056] While the present invention has been described above with reference to preferred embodiments thereof, these are merely examples and are not intended to limit the present invention. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications and applications not exemplified above are possible without departing from the essential characteristics of the present invention. For example, each component specifically shown in the embodiments of the present invention can be modified and implemented. In addition, differences related to such modifications and applications should be construed as being included within the scope of the present invention defined in the appended claims.
