Description

[0001] A NEW OUTDOOR FABRIC

[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD

[0003] The invention relates to a new type of fabric to be used in sun loungers, garden furniture, hotel sector, umbrellas, seating groups, etc., in short, in all outdoor areas outside the house, and the production method thereof.

[0004] BACKGROUND ART

[0005] Olefin is a fiber synthetically produced from polyolefin molecules such as polypropylene or polyethylene. Olefin has many advantages. These advantages are as follows: it is durable, colorfast, stain-resistant and easy to clean, made from recycled materials, free of volatile organic compounds, resistant to sunlight, a strong fiber, resistant to deterioration caused by chemicals, sweat, mildew, decay and weather conditions, quick drying, comfortable.

[0006] Olefin fiber is a general designation covering thermoplastic fibers derived from olefins, predominantly aliphatic hydrocarbons. The most widely used members of the family are polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE).

[0007] In addition to olefin, acrylic and polyester materials are used in outdoor textiles. However, olefin has the following advantages compared to acrylic and polyester.

[0008] - The specific olefin density is 30-40% less.

[0009] - Olefin strength is 2 times higher than acrylic and 30% higher than polyester.

[0010] - For acrylic-based products, service is limited and delivery times are much longer.

[0011] - Olefin polymer properties are more flexible than acrylic.

[0012] - It has flame retardancy, antibacterial properties and easier dyeability during spinning.

[0013] - Olefin is more environmentally friendly. Thus, the need to eliminate such shortcomings and disadvantages of the embodiments and practices employed in the prior art entails an improvement in the respective tehnical field.

[0014] DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0015] The present disclosure relates to a new outdoor fabric developed for eliminating the aforementioned disadvantages and providing new advantages to the respective technical field.

[0016] The aim of the invention is to obtain a more durable and resistant product in outdoor fabric production compared to equivalent products.

[0017] Another aim of the invention is to contribute financially to the national economy by eliminating foreign dependency (the need for conical warping).

[0018] Another aim of the invention is to transform into an outdoor fabric a more flexible, flame retardant, anti-bacterial, easier to dye during spinning and more environmentally friendly product than acrylic.

[0019] Another aim of the invention is to obtain a fabric with high strength by double twisting.

[0020] Another aim of the invention is to intervene in color differences during operation by performing the processes in a serial warping machine instead of a conical warping machine. This results in better products in terms of quality.

[0021] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0022] The preferred alternatives of the embodiments of invention, which are mentioned in this detailed description, are only intended for providing a better understanding of the subject-matter, and should not be construed in any restrictive sense.

[0023] The production method of the invention consists of the following process steps: - taking 700 denier 100% olefin (solution dyed) yarns,

[0024] - taking the yams and twisting the 700 denier yarns in the plying machine between 200-250 turns,

[0025] - performing phenolic yellowing tests, (ISO 105 / X18)

[0026] - according to obtained results (test evaluation scores 1-5, 1 very bad, 5 very good), considering it as MIN. 3,

[0027] - bringing the yam to the serial warping machine,

[0028] - drawing at least 6 warp beams from a minimum of 500 bobbins in the serial warping machine, passing them empty through the sizing machine, transforming them into 1 piece of 3,000 wire-yarn weaving beams by carding process,

[0029] - placing the ready weaving beam on the air-jet weaving machine and weaving the weft yams using 700 denier 100% olefin.

[0030] - Raw cloth quality control processes are carried out after weaving.

[0031] - The quality controlled raw cloth is brought to the stenter machine for finishing.

[0032] In the invention, the yam is twisted once more after it has been produced. Normally, these yams cannot be drawn warped on the serial warping machine. However, when an extra turn is given, warping can be done here. The fabric is more durable and resistant compared to the fabric without extra turns.

[0033] Fabric construction details are given below.

[0034] Table 1 : Fabric construction details are given in the table.

[0035] Table 2: The working conditions of the stenter machine are given in detail in the invention.

[0036] Working conditions of the finishing process preferred in the stenter machine in the invention are as follows:

[0037] In the first finish, preferred gr / lt values at a speed of 27 m / min and 130 C, 15 gr / lt anti-mildew, 5 gr / lt levelling agent, 10 gr / lt buffer acid with pH between 4-5 are used.

[0038] In the second finish, the speed is set to 15 m / min and the processes are carried out at 130 degrees C. Preferably 150 g / lt water and oil repellent, 3 g / lt levelling agent, 10 g / lt buffer acid are used here.

[0039] However, the invention cannot be limited to this gr / lt and as a percentage,

[0040] In the 1 st finishing, 50% anti-mildew, 17% levelling agent, 33% buffer acid are used.

[0041] In the 2nd finishing, 92% oil and water repellent, 2% levelling agent, 6% buffer acid are used.

[0042] Tablo 3: The test values of the invention are shown in the table.
