Abstract
Description
[0001] Temperature control device and motor vehicle with such a
[0002] The invention relates to a temperature control device for heating and / or cooling various vehicle components of an electrified motor vehicle. Furthermore, the invention relates to a motor vehicle with such a temperature control device.
[0003] DE 10 2021 123 953 A1 discloses a temperature control circuit that interacts with a refrigeration circuit. If the drive battery is to be cooled in this system, it is not possible to do so exclusively with cold coolant coming from the main temperature control circuit, because this coolant coming from the main temperature control circuit mixes with the battery circuit, which has already been heated by the drive battery, before reaching the drive battery (at a point immediately before the inlet of a second heat source). The same applies if the drive battery is to be heated with heat from the drive motor. Here, too, hot coolant coming from the drive motor would mix with coolant coming from the drive battery and, because it is cooler than the coolant coming from the drive motor, lower the temperature level of the coolant.
[0004] It is therefore an object of the present invention to at least partially eliminate the aforementioned disadvantages. This object is achieved by a temperature control device according to claim 1 and a motor vehicle according to claim 8. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
[0005] According to one embodiment of the invention, a temperature control device for a motor vehicle is provided, comprising a temperature control circuit in which coolant can be circulated and which has the following: at least one drive motor for driving the motor vehicle; a chiller through which the temperature control circuit can flow and is fluidically separated from a refrigerant circuit; a drive battery, and a temperature control circuit cooler through which the temperature control circuit can flow and is fluidically separated from air, wherein the temperature control device has a first operating mode in which the temperature control circuit cooler, the chiller, the drive battery and again the temperature control circuit cooler can be flowed through in a ring-like series in this order. This embodiment has the advantage that during cooling, a coolant with a lower temperature level arrives at the drive battery, because it is possible for the coolant reaching the drive battery to come directly from the temperature control circuit cooler (in cooling mode, such as during charging while stationary) without being mixed with warmer coolant that immediately previously flowed through the drive battery, as in the prior art.
[0006] According to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, in the first operating mode, the temperature control circuit cooler, the at least one drive motor, the chiller, the drive battery and again the temperature control circuit cooler can be flowed through in a ring-like series in this order. This exemplary embodiment has the advantage that when the drive battery is heated, coolant arrives at the drive battery at a higher temperature level because it is possible for the coolant reaching the drive battery to come directly from the drive motor (in heating mode, such as when driving in winter) without being mixed with colder coolant. According to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, in the first operating mode, a refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger, which functions in particular as a condenser, is arranged between the drive battery and the temperature control circuit cooler.Using the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger, the temperature in the temperature control circuit and thus the pressure level can be reduced, which can have the advantage of protecting components in the temperature control circuit. Furthermore, the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger allows the temperature control circuit to be heated via the refrigeration circuit, enabling the implementation of heat pump functionality.
[0007] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the temperature control device further comprises a refrigeration circuit cooler through which air can flow, separated from the refrigeration circuit and fluidly separated from it. In particular, the refrigeration circuit cooler is arranged in an air flow path through the refrigeration circuit cooler, i.e., in particular, in front of or behind the refrigeration circuit cooler as viewed along a vehicle's longitudinal axis. This significantly increases the flexibility of the temperature control device and makes it suitable for refrigeration circuits with different refrigerants. For example, the refrigeration circuit cooler allows the temperature control device to also be used with the refrigerant R744, because the refrigeration circuit cooler enables appropriate cooling and prevents overheating of the refrigeration circuit.
[0008] According to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, the refrigeration circuit cooler is arranged behind the temperature control circuit cooler along a vehicle's longitudinal axis, i.e., the temperature control circuit cooler is positioned closer to the front end of the vehicle than the refrigeration circuit cooler. In particular, the refrigeration circuit cooler is arranged directly behind the temperature control circuit cooler in the vehicle's longitudinal direction. This has the advantage that the usually hotter refrigeration circuit cooler is arranged downstream of the temperature control circuit cooler in relation to the inflow direction. This improves the cooling performance at the temperature control circuit cooler and lowers the temperature level downstream of the temperature control circuit cooler. In addition, refrigerants such as R744 have very high coolant temperature requirements. In this context, it is advantageous that the temperature control circuit cooler is arranged upstream of the refrigeration circuit cooler with respect to the air flow, because this allows the coolant to be cooled more effectively.
[0009] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the temperature control device further comprises a switching valve in the form of a 5 / 4-way valve for switching the temperature control circuit into different operating modes. In this way, various operating modes can be implemented with a single switching valve.
[0010] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the temperature control device further comprises a cooler bypass for bypassing the temperature control circuit cooler, in particular for bypassing only the temperature control circuit cooler. The cooler bypass allows thermal energy to be retained in the temperature control circuit if necessary.
[0011] According to a further embodiment of the invention, in the first operating mode, the temperature control circuit cooler, the chiller, the drive battery, the at least one drive motor, and again the temperature control circuit cooler can be flowed through serially in a ring-like manner in this order. This embodiment also has the advantage that, during cooling, a coolant with a lower temperature level arrives at the drive battery, because it is possible for the coolant reaching the drive battery to come directly from the temperature control circuit cooler without being mixed with warmer coolant that immediately previously flowed through the drive battery, as in the prior art.Furthermore, the present invention provides a temperature control device for a motor vehicle, comprising a temperature control circuit in which coolant can be circulated and which has the following: at least one drive motor for driving the motor vehicle; a chiller through which the temperature control circuit can flow and fluidically separate it from a refrigerant circuit; a drive battery; and a temperature control circuit cooler through which the temperature control circuit can flow and fluidically separate it from air; a refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger arranged in the temperature control circuit and optionally through which flow can be passed or bypassed; and a refrigeration circuit cooler through which the refrigeration circuit can flow and fluidically separate it from air. In particular, the refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger functions as a condenser. This significantly increases the flexibility of the temperature control system and makes the temperature control circuit compatible with refrigeration circuits using different refrigerants. For example, the refrigeration circuit cooler allows the temperature control system to be used with the refrigerant R744, as it enables appropriate cooling of the refrigeration circuit and prevents overheating. Furthermore, the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger allows the temperature control circuit to be heated via the refrigeration circuit, enabling the implementation of heat pump functionality.
[0012] Furthermore, the present invention provides a motor vehicle with such a temperature control device.

[0021] Figure 9 shows a tempering device according to a third embodiment of the invention.
[0022] Figure 1 shows a motor vehicle 1 according to an embodiment of the invention. The motor vehicle 1 has a drive battery 2 in which electrical energy is stored on an electrochemical basis. The motor vehicle 1 is an electrified motor vehicle which is at least temporarily driven purely by battery electricity, such as a pure electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle. In particular, it is a passenger car. The drive battery 2 has a battery housing 4 arranged beneath a vehicle passenger compartment 3, which housing a plurality of battery cells. The battery cells are electrically connected to one another in series and / or parallel and together form the drive battery 2 with a voltage level of more than 150 volts. The drive battery 2 stores electrical energy and makes it available for driving the motor vehicle (ieone or more drive motors) and other vehicle consumers.
[0023] Figure 2 shows a temperature control device 5 according to a first embodiment of the invention. The temperature control device 5 has a temperature control circuit 6 in which coolant, for example, water mixed with additives, can be circulated. Furthermore, the temperature control device 5 has a refrigerant circuit 8 that interacts with the temperature control circuit 6 and in which refrigerant, in particular R744 (CO2 refrigerant), propane, R1234yf, or R134a, can be circulated. Since the focus of this invention is on the temperature control circuit 6 of the temperature control device 5, the refrigerant circuit 8 is only indicated. The temperature control device 5 is installed in the motor vehicle 1.
[0024] The temperature control circuit 6 has a temperature control circuit cooler 7, around which the coolant of the temperature control circuit 6 can flow and through which air can flow, fluidically separated from the coolant. In addition, the temperature control device has a refrigeration circuit cooler 9, around which the coolant of the refrigeration circuit 8 can flow and through which air can flow, fluidically separated from the coolant. The refrigeration circuit cooler 9 is arranged behind the temperature control circuit cooler 7, as viewed in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle 1. The air is in particular ambient air of the motor vehicle 1. A fan 10 is provided to assist the air flow around or through the temperature control circuit cooler 7 and / or the refrigeration circuit cooler 9. Downstream (with respect to a flow direction of the coolant) of the temperature control circuit cooler 7 is arranged a first coolant pump 11 for conveying the coolant in the temperature control circuit 6.
[0025] Downstream of the coolant pump 11 there is at least one drive motor 12,
[0026] 13 is integrated into the temperature control circuit 6, ie it is arranged in the temperature control circuit 6 in such a way that heat energy can be released from the drive motor 12, 13 to the coolant and absorbed by the coolant, for example by the coolant flowing through a housing or a heat exchanger of the drive motor 12, 13. In the case of several drive motors 12, 13, as in the illustrated embodiment, these are integrated parallel to one another in the temperature control circuit 6. In the illustrated embodiment, a first drive motor 12 and a second drive motor 13 are provided, one of which is assigned to the front axle and the other to the rear axle.
[0027] A first electronic component 14 is connected upstream of the second drive motor 13, so that the first drive motor 12 is, strictly speaking, parallel to the series circuit of the first electronic component 14 and the second drive motor 13. The first electronic component 14 can also be connected upstream of the first drive motor 12. The first electronic component
[0028] 14 may, for example, comprise one or more components from the following group: an on-board charger, an inverter, a control unit (e.g. battery control unit), a computer for autonomous driving or entertainment electronics.
[0029] Downstream of the at least one drive motor 12, 13 or the parallel connection of the drive motors 12, 13, the temperature control circuit 6 branches off, with one branch leading to a first connection 15.1 of a first switching valve 15 and another branch leading to an optional second electronic component 16. The second electronic component 16 can also comprise one or more components from the following group: an in-vehicle charger, an inverter, a control unit (e.g., battery control unit), a computer for autonomous driving, or entertainment electronics.
[0030] The first switching valve 15 is a 5 / 4-way valve with a first port 15.1, a second port 15.2, a third port 15.3, a fourth port 15.4, and a fifth port 15.5. Depending on the switching position of the switching valve 15, the five ports 15.1 to 15.5 are connected to each other in different ways, although intermediate positions are also conceivable.
[0031] The third connection 15.3 leads to a chiller 17 or heat exchanger, through which the coolant of the temperature control circuit 6 flows and, fluidically separated from it, the refrigerant of the refrigerant circuit 8, allowing heat exchange between the coolant and the refrigerant. Optionally, the chiller 17 can have an electric heater integrated into the chiller 17. It is also possible for this optional electric heater to be installed upstream or downstream of the chiller 17 as a separate component.
[0032] A line coming from the second electronic component 16 flows into a line section leading from the third connection 15.3 to the chiller 17.
[0033] Downstream of the chiller 17, the drive battery 2 is integrated into the temperature control circuit 6, i.e. it is arranged in the temperature control circuit 6 in such a way that heat energy can be released from the drive battery 2 to the coolant and absorbed by the coolant, for example by the coolant flowing through at least one battery cooler provided in the drive battery 2. By means of a battery bypass valve 18, the coolant coming from the chiller 17 can be completely or partially bypassed by the drive battery 2 via a battery bypass line 19 or can be passed completely through the drive battery 2. For example, the battery bypass valve 18 can function as a safety valve which, in the event of a coolant leak in the drive battery 2, directs the coolant past the drive battery 2 via the battery bypass line 19.
[0034] Downstream of the drive battery 2, a second coolant pump 20 is provided for pumping coolant. Downstream of the second coolant pump 20, the temperature control circuit 6 leads to the second connection 15.2 of the first switching valve 15.
[0035] From a fourth connection 15.4 of the first switching valve 15, the temperature control circuit 6 leads back to the temperature control circuit cooler 7 via a refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger 21. The coolant of the temperature control circuit 6 and, fluidically separated from it, the refrigerant of the refrigerant circuit 8 flow through the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger 21, thus enabling heat transfer between the coolant and the refrigerant. Depending on the refrigerant used, the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger 21 functions as a condenser and / or a gas cooler.
[0036] For example, the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger 21 functions as a condenser with the refrigerants R134a and R1234yf. With the refrigerant R744, the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger 21 functions as a condenser (up to approximately 30 degrees Celsius) or as a gas cooler (above approximately 30 degrees Celsius), depending on the temperature level of the refrigerant.
[0037] From a fifth connection 15.5 of the first switching valve 15, the temperature control circuit 6 leads back to the temperature control circuit cooler 7, bypassing the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger 21. This bypass line is free of heat sources or heat sinks. In particular, it exclusively bypasses the liquid-cooled refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger 21.
[0038] Furthermore, a cooler bypass 22 is provided, which can be used to bypass the temperature control circuit cooler 7. In particular, this only bypasses the temperature control circuit cooler 7. Flow through the cooler bypass 22 can be opened, partially opened, or blocked via a shut-off valve 23.
[0039] Figure 3 shows a first operating mode of the temperature control device 6. Sections of the temperature control circuit 5 through which coolant can flow are shown with solid lines and sections through which no flow or sections with stationary coolant are shown with dashed lines.
[0040] In this operating mode, the first switching valve 15 is connected such that the temperature control circuit cooler 7, the first coolant pump 11, the at least one drive motor 12, 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14 or the parallel circuit of the first drive motor 12 and the second drive motor 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14, the second electronic component 16, the chiller 17, the drive battery 2, the second coolant pump 20, the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger 21, and again the temperature control circuit cooler 7 are connected to one another in series and in this order in a closed circuit. In particular, this closed circuit is free of coolant strands that actively supply or dissipate heat.
[0041] This first operating mode is suitable, for example, for cooling the drive battery 2 during or after a charging or rapid charging process while the motor vehicle 1 is stationary. For example, in this operating mode, the drive motors 12, 13 are cold or at least colder than the drive battery 2. When the cooling demand of the drive battery 2 is higher, the circulated coolant is cooled by the chiller 17, which in turn is cooled by the refrigeration circuit 8. When the cooling demand is lower, cooling of the drive battery 2 is also possible only via heat dissipation at the temperature control circuit cooler 7.
[0042] In this first operating mode, Fig. 3 shows a flow through the refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger 21. However, this is optional, and bypassing the refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger 21 is also possible.
[0043] Figure 4 shows a second operating mode of the temperature control device 6. Sections of the temperature control circuit 5 through which coolant can flow are shown with solid lines and sections through which no flow or sections with stationary coolant are shown with dashed lines.
[0044] In this operating mode, the first switching valve 15 is connected such that the first coolant pump 11, the at least one drive motor 12, 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14 or the parallel circuit of the first drive motor 12 and the second drive motor 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14, the second electronic component 16, the chiller 17, the drive battery 2, the second coolant pump 20, the cooler bypass 22, and again the first coolant pump 11 are connected to one another in series and in this order in a closed circuit. In particular, this closed circuit is free of coolant strands that actively supply or dissipate heat.
[0045] In this second operating mode, the temperature control circuit cooler 7 is bypassed, leaving thermal energy in the temperature control circuit 6. This allows, for example, thermal energy from the at least one drive motor 12, 13 to be used to heat the drive battery 2. This is useful, for example, while driving in cold ambient temperatures (e.g., -10°C).
[0046] Furthermore, with the described wiring, it is possible to heat the drive battery 2 via a heat pump function. For this purpose, the refrigeration circuit 8 absorbs ambient heat via the refrigeration circuit cooler 9 in order to introduce heat into the temperature control circuit 6 via the refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger 21 via a heat pump function. Figure 5 shows a third operating mode of the temperature control device from Fig. 2, in which the switching valve 15 assumes the switching position shown in Fig. 2. In this switching position, the second connection 15.2 is connected to the third connection 15.3 and the first connection 15.1 is connected to the fourth connection 15.4.
[0047] This forms a motor circuit 26, which is shown in Fig. 5 with a dash-dot line. In this motor circuit 26, the temperature control circuit cooler 7, the first coolant pump 11, the at least one drive motor 12, 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14 or the parallel circuit of the first drive motor 12 and the second drive motor 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14, the refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger 21 and again the temperature control circuit cooler 7 are connected to one another in series and in particular in this order, so that coolant can be circulated in a closed circuit by means of the first coolant pump 11.
[0048] In addition, a battery circuit 27 is formed, which is indicated in Fig. 5 by a dashed double-dotted line. In this battery circuit 27, the chiller 17, the drive battery 2, and the second coolant pump 20 are connected in series in a ring-like manner, so that coolant can be circulated in a closed circuit by means of the second coolant pump 20. The drive battery could, for example, be cooled by means of the chiller 17.
[0049] The engine circuit 26 can be operated selectively and independently of the battery circuit 27, whereby no coolant exchange takes place between the engine circuit 26 and the battery circuit 27.
[0050] Figure 6 shows a tempering device 105 according to a second
[0051] Embodiment of the invention. The temperature control device 105 has a temperature control circuit 106 in which coolant, for example, water mixed with additives, can be circulated. Furthermore, the temperature control device 105 has the refrigerant circuit 8 (see description of the first embodiment), which interacts with the temperature control circuit 106. The temperature control device 105 is installed in the motor vehicle 1. With regard to the components known from the first embodiment (same reference numerals), reference is made to their above description, which also applies to the second embodiment.
[0052] The temperature control circuit 106 comprises the temperature control circuit cooler 7, the refrigeration circuit cooler 9, the fan 10, the cooler bypass 22, and the shut-off valve 23. Downstream (relative to a flow direction of the coolant) of the temperature control circuit cooler 7, the first coolant pump 11 for conveying the coolant in the temperature control circuit 106 is arranged.
[0053] Downstream of the coolant pump 11, the at least one drive motor 12, 13 or the parallel connection of drive motors 12, 13 described in the first exemplary embodiment is integrated into the temperature control circuit 106. The first electronic component 14 is connected upstream of the first drive motor 12, so that the second drive motor 13 is parallel to the series connection of the first electronic component 14 and the first drive motor 12. The first electronic component 14 can also be connected upstream of the second drive motor 13.
[0054] Downstream of the at least one drive motor 12, 13 or the parallel connection of the drive motors 12, 13, the temperature control circuit 106 branches off, with a first branch A leading directly back to the cooler bypass 22 or to the temperature control circuit cooler 7 via a one-way valve 124. A second branch B leads to the optional second electronic component 16. The switching valve 15 is not provided in the second exemplary embodiment. Instead, the temperature control circuit 106 has a first valve V1, a second valve V2, and a third valve V3. These valves can be shut-off valves that block or completely allow the flow of coolant. They can also have intermediate positions for partially allowing the flow or can be designed as proportional valves.
[0055] The temperature control circuit 106 also includes the chiller 17, with an optional integrated or separate electric heater, the drive battery 2, the battery bypass valve 18 with the battery bypass line 19, and the second coolant pump 20. These components are arranged as in the first embodiment. A valve node K is provided downstream of the second coolant pump 20.
[0056] From the valve node point K, a third branch C provided with the first valve V1 leads into the first branch A, namely at a point on the first branch A between the one-way valve 124 and the cooler bypass 22.
[0057] In addition, a fourth line D, equipped with the third valve V3, leads from the valve node K to the chiller 17. The second line B, which has the second electronic component 16, flows into the fourth line D at a point upstream of the chiller 17.
[0058] The three valves V1 to V3 and their functions can of course also be partially or completely combined in a multi-valve.
[0059] Furthermore, a fifth branch E leads from the valve node K to the second branch B at a point between the at least one drive motor 12, 13 and the second electronic component 14. The fifth branch E is provided with the refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger 21. Furthermore, a third electronic component 125 can be integrated into the temperature control circuit 106, from which a supply branch branches off downstream of the chiller 17 and upstream of the drive battery 2, and from which a discharge branch opens upstream of the second coolant pump 20 (and downstream of the drive battery 2). In this way, the third electronic component 125 can also be integrated into the temperature control circuit 6 of the first exemplary embodiment.
[0060] Figure ? shows various operating modes of the temperature control device from Fig. 5. If the first valve V1 is closed, a motor circuit 126 is formed, which is shown in Fig. 7 with a dash-dot line. In this motor circuit 126, the temperature control circuit cooler 7, the first coolant pump 11, the at least one drive motor 12, 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14 or the parallel connection of the first drive motor 12 and the second drive motor 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14, the one-way valve 124 and again the temperature control circuit cooler 7 are connected to one another in series and in particular in this order, so that coolant can be circulated in a closed circuit by means of the first coolant pump 11.
[0061] If, with the first valve V1 closed, the second valve V2 is also closed and the third valve V3 is opened, a battery circuit 127 is formed, which is indicated in Fig. 7 by a dashed double-dotted line. In this battery circuit 127, the chiller 17, the drive battery 2, and the second coolant pump 20 are connected in series in a ring-like manner, so that coolant can be circulated in a closed circuit by means of the second coolant pump 20. The drive battery could, for example, be cooled by means of the chiller 17.
[0062] If the first valve V1 is closed, the second valve V2 is opened, and the third valve V3 is closed, a battery-condenser circuit 128 is formed, which is indicated in Fig. 7 by a dashed line. In this battery-condenser circuit 128, the chiller 17, the drive battery 2, the second coolant pump 20, the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger 21, and the second electronic component 16 are connected in series in a ring-like manner, so that coolant can be circulated in a closed circuit by means of the second coolant pump 20.
[0063] The motor circuit 126 can be operated selectively and independently of the battery circuit 127 and the battery-capacitor circuit 128, wherein essentially no coolant exchange takes place between the motor circuit 126 on the one hand and the battery circuit 127 or the battery-capacitor circuit 128 on the other hand.
[0064] Figure 8 shows a first operating mode of the temperature control device from Figure 5. This essentially corresponds to the first operating mode of the first exemplary embodiment, except that the refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger 21 is bypassed. In Figure 8, sections of the temperature control circuit 5 through which coolant can flow are shown by solid lines, and sections through which coolant cannot flow, or sections with stagnant coolant, are shown by dashed lines.
[0065] In this operating mode, the first valve V1 is open, the second valve V2 is closed, and the third valve V3 is closed. Thus, the temperature control circuit cooler 7, the first coolant pump 11, the at least one drive motor 12, 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14, or the parallel circuit of the first drive motor 12 and the second drive motor 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14, the second electronic component 16, the chiller 17, the drive battery 2, the second coolant pump 20, and again the temperature control circuit cooler 7 are connected to one another in series and in this order in a closed circuit. In particular, this closed circuit is free of coolant lines that actively supply or remove heat. There is little or no coolant flow through the one-way valve 124, since the suction of the second coolant pump 20 draws the coolant coming from the at least one drive motor 12, 13 into the second line B.
[0066] Figure 9 shows a temperature control device 205 according to a third embodiment of the invention. Regarding the components known from the first embodiment (same reference numerals), reference is made to their above description, which also applies to the third embodiment.
[0067] The temperature control device 205 has a temperature control circuit 206 in which coolant, for example, water mixed with additives, can be circulated. Furthermore, the temperature control device 205 has a refrigerant circuit 8 (see the first exemplary embodiment) that interacts with the temperature control circuit 6. The temperature control device 205 is installed in the motor vehicle 1.
[0068] The temperature control circuit 206 comprises the temperature control circuit cooler 7, the refrigeration circuit cooler 9, the fan 10, the cooler bypass 22, and the shut-off valve 23 (see the first exemplary embodiment). The first coolant pump 11 is arranged downstream of the temperature control circuit cooler 7 (relative to the flow direction of the coolant).
[0069] Downstream of the first coolant pump 11, the temperature control circuit 206 branches off, with a first branch A leading directly to the at least one drive motor 12, 13 or to the parallel connection of several drive motors 12, 13 via a first one-way valve 224. A second branch B leads to the first electronic component 14.
[0070] Furthermore, the temperature control circuit 206 includes the first valve V1, the second valve V2, and the third valve V3 (see second exemplary embodiment). The temperature control circuit 206 also includes the chiller 17, with an optional integrated or separate electric heater, the second electronic component 16, the second coolant pump 20, and the drive battery 2, which are arranged serially in this order.
[0071] Downstream of the drive battery 2, a second one-way valve 229 is arranged, and downstream of it, the valve node K. The switchable battery bypass line 19 branches off upstream of the drive battery 2 for optional bypassing and flows directly into the valve node K.
[0072] From the valve node point K, a third branch C provided with the first valve V1 leads into the first branch A, namely at a point of the first branch A between the first one-way valve 224 and the at least one drive motor 12, 13.
[0073] In addition, a fourth line D, equipped with the third valve V3, leads from the valve node K to the chiller 17. The second line B, which has the first electronic component 14, flows into the fourth line D at a point upstream of the chiller 17.
[0074] Furthermore, a fifth branch E leads from the valve node K to the second branch B at a point between the first coolant pump 11 and the second electronic component 14. The fifth branch E is provided with the refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger 21.
[0075] Downstream of the third line C or the first one-way valve 224, the at least one drive motor 12, 13 or a parallel connection of the first drive motor 12 and the second drive motor 13 is integrated into the temperature control circuit 6. Downstream of the at least one drive motor or the parallel connection of the drive motors 12, 13, the temperature control circuit 206 leads back to the cooler bypass 22 or the temperature control circuit cooler 7.
[0076] The temperature control circuit 206 functions similarly to the temperature control circuit 106 (see Figs. 5 to 7), only with the essential difference that the second branch B does not branch off downstream of the at least one drive motor 12, 13 as in the second embodiment, but downstream of the first coolant pump 11 and upstream of the at least one drive motor 12, 13.
[0077] As in the second exemplary embodiment, a motor circuit can be represented when the first valve V1 is closed. In this motor circuit, the temperature control circuit cooler 7, the first coolant pump 11, the first one-way valve 224, the at least one drive motor 12, 13, and again the temperature control circuit cooler 7 are connected to one another in series and, in particular, in this order, so that coolant can be circulated in a closed circuit by means of the first coolant pump 11.
[0078] If, with the first valve V1 closed, the second valve V2 is also closed and the third valve V3 is opened, a battery circuit is formed. In this battery circuit, the chiller 17, the second electronic component, the second coolant pump 20, the drive battery 2, and the second one-way valve 229 are connected in series in a ring-like manner, so that coolant can be circulated in a closed circuit by means of the second coolant pump 20. The drive battery could, for example, be cooled by means of the chiller 17.
[0079] If the first valve V1 is closed, the second valve V2 is opened, and the third valve V3 is closed, a battery-capacitor circuit is formed. In this battery-capacitor circuit, the chiller 17, the second electronic component, the second coolant pump 20, the drive battery 2, the second one-way valve 229, the refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger 21, and the first electronic component 14 are connected in series in a ring-like manner, so that coolant can be circulated in a closed circuit by means of the second coolant pump 20.
[0080] As in the second embodiment, the engine circuit can be operated selectively and independently of the battery circuit and the battery-capacitor circuit, with essentially no coolant exchange taking place between the engine circuit on the one hand and the battery circuit or the battery-capacitor circuit on the other.
[0081] Furthermore, a first operating mode can be represented in which the first valve V1 is open, the second valve V2 is closed, and the third valve V3 is closed. Thus, the temperature control circuit cooler 7, the first coolant pump 11, the first electronic component 14, the chiller 17, the second electronic component 16, the second coolant pump 20, the drive battery 2, the second one-way valve 229, the at least one drive motor 12, 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14 or the parallel circuit of the first drive motor 12 and the second drive motor 13 with an upstream first electronic component 14, and again the temperature control circuit cooler 7 are connected to one another in series and in this order in a closed circuit. In particular, this closed circuit is free of coolant strands that actively supply or dissipate heat.
[0082] While the invention has been illustrated and described in detail in the drawings and the foregoing description, this illustration and description is to be understood as illustrative and not restrictive, and it is not intended to limit the invention to the disclosed embodiment. The mere fact that certain features are recited in various dependent claims is not intended to suggest that a combination of these features could not also be used to advantage.
