Abstract
Description
[0001] MOVABLE HORIZONTAL MDF SHELF STRUCTURE
[0002] Technical Field
[0003] The invention relates to the MDF shelf structure in cabinets where MDFs used to connect incoming and outgoing multiple lines in networks such as fiber optic data lines and telephone lines are placed.
[0004] The invention particularly relates to the MDF shelf structure that allows the empty parts in the cabinet to be used efficiently by placing the MDFs horizontally thanks to the horizontally moved movable casing.
[0005] State of the Art
[0006] Today, structures called MDF are used to connect telephone or fiber internet lines. These MDFs are installed vertically in the cabinets.
[0007] In the state of the art, MDFs are installed vertically. In this layout, it causes space restriction and expansion problems in the systems where the increasing number of users is added every day.
[0008] In the state of the art, in case of any malfunction in the cable connections with MDF, MDFs must be removed. Therefore, labor operations are increased, and service time is prolonged.
[0009] In the state of the art, the disassembly and assembly of MDFs in every fault situation deforms the structure and shortens the service life.
[0010] The application numbered US7806277B2 was encountered in the patent research of the prior art carried out abroad. In this file, MDFs fixed to the interior wall of the cabinet are observed.
[0011] Another application encountered is the patent numbered US95191 18B2. In this file, a compartment is made for MDF and optical cables.
[0012] Said applications can be shown as an example of said disadvantages due to their deficiencies.
[0013] As a result, improvements are made in parallel with the developing technology in the MDF shelf structure, so new structures are needed to eliminate the said disadvantages and bring solutions to existing systems. The Objective of the Invention
[0014] The invention relates to MDF shelf structures developed to solve said disadvantages and bringing some additional advantages, unlike the embodiments used in the state of the art.
[0015] The object of the invention is to ensure that telecom modules are added horizontally to the panel. For this purpose, fixed casings placed inside the panel are connected to sliding movable casings, and the modules are placed in the movable casings. Thanks to the movable casing, the modules are moved horizontally back and forth if necessary.
[0016] Another object of the invention is to place modules in the empty parts of the cabinet thanks to the horizontal positioning. In this way, the vast majority of the cabin is used efficiently.
[0017] Another object of the invention is to prevent the wiring harnesses connected to the modules from breaking, abrasion and entanglement by placing them in the cable guides at the back of the movable casing.
[0018] Another object of the invention is to ensure that the MDFs are easily placed thanks to the movable casing that can be locked in the open position.
[0019] Another object of the invention is to enable easy intervention in case of a malfunction by pulling the movable casing forward. In this way, labor operations will be reduced.
[0020] The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood by means of the following figures and the detailed description with reference to these figures. Therefore, the assessment should be made while considering the figure and their detailed descriptions.

[0042] Detailed Description of an Embodiment of the Invention
[0043] In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the MDF shelf structure (1 ) of the invention are described solely for the purpose of a better understanding of the subject matter and without any limiting effect.
[0044] Structure
[0045] The MDF shelf structure (1 ) comprises fixed casing (10), movable casing (20), cable guides (30), MDF (40) and wiring harness (50). Figure 1 shows the front perspective view of the open state of the MDF shelf structure (1 ). Said fixed casing (10), movable casing (20) and the casing exterior where other components are mounted. They are also mounted inside the wall and cabinet. Fixing elements (1 1 ) are used for mounting in the cabinet. In the interior of the fixed casing (10) facing each other, there is a fixed casing rail (12) that allows the movable casing (20) to move horizontally. These elements are shown in detail in Figures 1 and 2.
[0046] The movable casing (20) is the structure where the MDF (40) and the wiring harness (50) are mounted and can move horizontally on the fixed casing (10). There are movable casing locks (21 ) on the rear sides. The movable casing locks (21 ) enables the movable casing (20) to secure its movement inward and outward. It provides the opening and closing of the movable casing (20) with the casing opening and closing part (22) located on the front of the movable casing (20) and at the same time provides strength by preventing the movable casing (20) from stretching.
[0047] The cable guides (30) connected to the rear edge parts of said movable casing (20) are the part through which the wiring harness (50) is passed. It has an ergonomic structure thanks to the fact that it can be folded in half from the middle part. It is shown as perspective in Figures 1 and 2.
[0048] MDFs (40) are placed on the movable casing (20). With the MDF roofs (41 ) located between them, they are mounted to each other and to the movable casing (20).
[0049] Said wiring harness (50) is the combination of cables where the incoming and outgoing data cables are combined. It is connected to the MDFs (40).
[0050] Mounting and working principle:
[0051] The fixed casing (10) is fixed to the cabinet using fixing elements (1 1 ). Fixed casing rails (12) are mounted on the three parts of the fixed casing (10). Again, cable guides (30) are attached to the guide mounting points (13) located at the rear corner of the fixed casing (10).
[0052] Movable casing rails (23) are fixed to the sides of the movable casing (20). The movable casing (20) is placed on the fixed casing (10) by fitting the movable casing rails (23) to the fixed casing rails (12). With this process, the movable casing (20) can move back and forth in the horizontal axis.
[0053] The other end of the cable guides (30), one end of which is fixed to the fixed casing (10), is attached to the movable casing mounting points (24) in the movable casing (20). In this way, with the back and forth movement of the movable casing (20), the cable guides (30) can be folded and closed from the folding point (32). Figures 1 and 2 show a perspective view of the mounted version of the MDF shelf structure (1 ). After the movable casing (20) is placed on the fixed casing (10), the movable casing (20) is pulled forward by holding the casing opening and closing part (22). Using the movable casing lock (21 ), the movable casing (20) is locked open. The MDFs (40) to which the cables will be connected on the movable casing (20) are arranged on the MDF roofs (41 ). The wiring harnesses (50) formed by the cables connected to the MDFs (40) are passed through the cable channels (31 ) in the cable guides (30). In Figure 4, the path of the wiring harness (50) shown clearly.
[0054] After the connection of the MDF (40) and the wiring harnesses (50) is made, the movable casing lock (21 ) is opened, and the movable casing (20) is pushed back. Meanwhile, the folding cable guides (30) are folded from the folding points (32), and it is ensured that the wiring harnesses (50) are folded without damage. Then, the locking process is carried out with the movable casing lock (21 ). Figure 3 shows the closed state of the movable casing (20).
[0055] As described above, the assembled MDF shelf structure (1 ) is installed in more than one way in the cabinet. The number of module structures can be increased according to demand to meet requirements.
