Abstract
Description
RAR recognition method, device and storage medium
[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0002] This application claims priority to Chinese patent application No. 202311013515.0, filed on August 11, 2023, entitled “RAR Identification Method, Device and Storage Medium,” which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. Technical Field
[0003] The present disclosure relates to the field of communication technology, and in particular to a RAR recognition method, device, and storage medium. Background Art
[0004] In downlink (DL) transmission, since message 2 (MSG2) needs to be repeatedly transmitted, the random access response (RAR) window needs to be extended.
[0005] When the preamble sent by the terminal (User Equipment, UE) is the same, due to the RAR window expansion, the previous and next RAR windows will overlap in the time domain. At a specific RAR repetition number, the terminal will calculate the same Random Access-Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RA-RNTI), resulting in the UE being unable to identify whether the received RAR is sent to the UE.

[0201] In order to facilitate a clearer understanding of the various embodiments of the present disclosure, some relevant technical knowledge is first introduced as follows.
[0202] (1) Random access process
[0203] Four-step random access is divided into contention-based and non-contention-based random access. FIG1 is a flowchart of a contention-based random access process provided by the present disclosure, as shown in FIG1 , including the following steps:
[0204] Step 1: The terminal sends message 1 (MSG1) to the base station, transmits a random access preamble (Random Access Preamble), and opens a RAR window (window) after sending the preamble (Preamble).
[0205] Step 2: Within the RAR window, the terminal receives message 2 (MSG2), also known as the RAR. Upon successful RAR reception, the terminal closes the RAR window. The RAR carries the uplink scheduling grant (UL grant) for MSG3. The RAR is transmitted via the Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) indicated by the RA-RNTI-scrambled Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH).
[0206] The calculation formula for RA-RNTI is as follows: RA-RNTI = 1 + s_id + 14 × t_id + 14 × 80 × f_id + 14 × 80 × 8 × ul_carrier_id
[0207] Where s_id represents the first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol index of a physical random access channel (PRACH) opportunity, and the value range of s_id is [0,14]. When μ = {0,1,2,3}, t_id represents the first time slot index of the PRACH opportunity in a system frame, and the value range of t_id is [0,80]. When μ = {5,6}, t_id represents the index of the 120 kHz time slot in the system frame containing the PRACH opportunity, and the value range of t_id is [0,80]. f_id represents the index of the PRACH opportunity in the frequency domain, and the value range of f_id is [0,8]. ul_carrier_id is used to indicate the uplink carrier of the preamble transmission. ul_carrier_id of 0 indicates normal uplink. Uplink (NUL) carrier, ul_carrier_id is 1 indicates a supplementary uplink (SUL) carrier.
[0208] Step 3: The terminal performs scheduled transmission, sends message 3 (MSG3) to the base station according to the UL grant in the RAR, and opens a contention resolution window.
[0209] Step 4: The terminal receives message 4 (MSG4) in the contention resolution window. When random access contention resolution (Contention Resolution) succeeds, the terminal closes the contention resolution window and completes the random access process.
[0210] (2) RAR repetition
[0211] In order to improve the success probability and coverage of RAR reception, the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) proposed a method of repeatedly sending RAR. One method of indicating the number of RAR repetitions is to indicate the number of RAR repetitions in the DCI.
[0212] FIG2 is one of the schematic diagrams of preamble transmission provided by the present disclosure. As shown in FIG2 , terminal 1 transmits preamble 1 at random access signal occasion (RACH occasion, RO) 1, and terminal 2 transmits preamble 1 at RO2.
[0213] Assuming the RAR repetition count is 2 and the RAR window length is 20ms, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 each open the RAR window and receive the RAR repetitions. Although RO1 and RO2 have different System Frame Numbers (SFNs), they have the same time slot and symbol parameters within the same SFN, and the same frequency domain parameters. Therefore, when calculating the RA-RNTI, the RA-RNTI value is the same.
[0214] If the two terminals select the same preamble (preamble 1), there is a situation where terminal 2 will receive the RAR sent by the network to terminal 1 within the RAR window. However, due to the same RA-RNTI and preamble index, terminal 2 cannot identify whether the received RAR is sent to it by the network.
[0215] In response to the above technical problems, the embodiments of the present disclosure identify the RAR based on the SFN used for sending the preamble, so as to solve the problem that the terminal cannot identify the RAR when the sent preamble is the same.
[0216] The following will be combined with the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure to clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure. Obviously, the embodiments described are only part of the embodiments of the present disclosure and not all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the present disclosure, all other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in this field without making any creative efforts shall fall within the scope of protection of the present disclosure.
[0217] FIG3 is a flow chart of a RAR recognition method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG3 , an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a RAR recognition method, which may be executed by a terminal, such as a mobile phone, and includes:
[0218] Step 310: Determine a first SFN; the first SFN is the SFN where the target preamble is sent.
[0219] Step 320: Identify the RAR based on the first SFN.
[0220] Specifically, Figure 4 is a second schematic diagram of preamble code transmission provided by the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 4, terminal 1 sends preamble code 1 at RO1, and the SFN identifier is SFNId#0; terminal 2 sends preamble code 1 at RO2, and the SFN identifier is SFNId#1; terminal 3 sends preamble code 1 at RO3, and the SFN identifier is SFNId#2; terminal 4 sends preamble code 1 at RO4, and the SFN identifier is SFNId#3.
[0221] As can be seen from FIG4 , although the preambles sent by different terminals are the same, the SFNs where the same preambles are sent by different terminals are different.
[0222] Therefore, the terminal can determine the SFN where the target preamble is sent, that is, determine the first SFN; and then identify whether the RAR is sent to the terminal based on the first SFN. The identified RAR can be one that the terminal has already received or is about to receive.
[0223] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure identifies the RAR by using the SFN of the target preamble sent, because different terminals send the same preamble at different SFNs, thereby achieving RAR identification when the preamble is the same.
[0224] In some embodiments, identifying the RAR based on the first SFN includes:
[0225] Receive RAR, RAR is indicated by DCI; DCI carries indication information; indication information is used to indicate the second SFN; the second SFN is the SFN associated with RAR
[0226] The RAR is identified based on the first SFN and the second SFN.
[0227] Specifically, the terminal receives downlink control information (DCI) and the RAR indicated by the DCI, the DCI carries indication information, and the indication information indicates the second SFN, that is, the SFN associated with the received RAR. Optionally, the indication information may be carried by the received RAR.
[0228] The terminal compares the first SFN and the second SFN. If the two are the same, the terminal recognizes that the received RAR is sent to the terminal by the network device; if the two are different, the terminal recognizes that the received RAR is not sent to the terminal by the network device.
[0229] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure identifies the RAR by using the similarities and differences between the second SFN indicated by the indication information and the first SFN, further enabling the terminal to identify the RAR when the transmitted preamble codes are the same.
[0230] In some embodiments, identifying the RAR based on the first SFN includes:
[0231] Determining a first numerical result of a first parameter value for a first SFN;
[0232] receiving a RAR, where the RAR is indicated by downlink control information DCI; the DCI carries indication information; and the indication information is used to obtain a second numerical result;
[0233] The RAR is identified based on the first numerical result and the second numerical result.
[0234] Specifically, the first parameter value is Z. The terminal determines a first numerical result of the first SFN for the first parameter value. Optionally, the first numerical result may be a modulo result or a quotient result.
[0235] The terminal receives DCI and the RAR indicated by the DCI, where the DCI carries indication information indicating a second numerical result, where the second numerical result is a numerical result of a second SFN for the first parameter value, and the second SFN is an SFN associated with the received RAR.
[0236] Optionally, the indication information may be carried in the received RAR. Optionally, the second numerical result may be a modulo result, a quotient result, or the like. The first numerical result and the second numerical result may have the same result type. For example, the first numerical result and the second numerical result may both be modulo results, or the first numerical result and the second numerical result may both be quotient results.
[0237] The terminal compares the first numerical result and the second numerical result. If the two are the same, the terminal recognizes that the received RAR is sent to the terminal by the network device; if the two are different, the terminal recognizes that the received RAR is not sent to the terminal by the network device.
[0238] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure determines a first numerical result of a first parameter value for a first SFN, indicates a second numerical result for information, and identifies the RAR based on the similarities and differences between the first numerical result and the second numerical result, thereby further enabling the terminal to identify the RAR when the same preamble code is sent.
[0239] In some embodiments, the first parameter value is one of the following:
[0240] Number of preamble repetitions;
[0241] RAR repeat count;
[0242] The number of preamble repetitions or RAR repetitions determined based on the measured RSRP value;
[0243] Parameter values of broadcast message notifications;
[0244] Msg3 repetition times;
[0245] The number of RAR repetitions determined by the RAR window length;
[0246] The ratio of the RAR window length to the length of N time slots; N is determined by the subcarrier spacing.
[0247] Specifically, the terminal presets a correspondence between the RSRP interval and the number of preamble code repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions, or the terminal receives a correspondence between the RSRP interval and the number of preamble code repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions sent by the network device. One RSRP interval corresponds to one preamble code repetition number or RAR repetition number.
[0248] The specific process of determining the number of preamble code repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions based on the measured RSRP value may be: the terminal may first determine the RSRP interval corresponding to the measured RSRP, and then search the correspondence between the RSRP interval and the number of preamble code repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions for the RSRP interval corresponding to the measured RSRP, thereby determining the number of preamble code repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions corresponding to the measured RSRP.
[0249] The terminal presets a correspondence between the RAR window length and the RAR repetition number, or the terminal receives a correspondence between the RAR window length and the RAR repetition number sent by the network device. One RAR window length corresponds to one RAR repetition number.
[0250] A specific process of determining the RAR repetition number according to the RAR window length may be: the terminal searches for the RAR repetition number corresponding to the RAR window length in the correspondence between the RAR window length and the RAR repetition number.
[0251] Optionally, the terminal may use the number of preamble code repetitions, the number of RAR repetitions, or the number of Msg3 repetitions as the first parameter value.
[0252] Optionally, the terminal may use the number of preamble repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions determined according to the measured RSRP value as the first parameter value.
[0253] Optionally, the terminal may use the parameter value notified by the broadcast message as the first parameter value.
[0254] Optionally, the terminal may use the number of RAR repetitions determined according to the RAR window length as the first parameter value.
[0255] Optionally, the terminal may use a ratio of the RAR window length to the length of N time slots as the first parameter value, wherein N is determined according to the subcarrier spacing, and the larger the subcarrier spacing, the larger N.
[0256] In some embodiments, before identifying the RAR according to the first numerical result and the second numerical result, the method further includes:
[0257] The position ranking value corresponding to the bit with a value of 1 in the number of bits of the indication information is subtracted by one, and the result is taken as the second numerical value result.
[0258] Specifically, before performing RAR based on the first numerical result and the second numerical result, it is necessary to determine the second numerical result indicated by the indication information.
[0259] The terminal may subtract one from the position ranking value corresponding to the bit with a value of 1 in the number of bits of the indication information, and use the result as the second numerical value.
[0260] For example, the indication information is 0100, the position sorting is from right to left, starting from 1, the position sorting value corresponding to "1" is 3, and the terminal subtracts one from the position sorting value corresponding to "1", that is, 2 is used as the second numerical result.
[0261] Assume that the number of bits of the indication information is the same as the first parameter value, for example, if the first parameter value is 4, then the number of bits of the indication information is 4. Also assume that the second numerical result is a modulo result.
[0262] The indication information is SFNID3SFNID2SFNID1SFNID0, where when SFNID0 is 1, it indicates that the second numerical result is 0; when SFNID1 is 1, it indicates that the second numerical result is 1; when SFNID2 is 1, it indicates that the second numerical result is 2; and when SFNID3 is 1, it indicates that the second numerical result is 3.
[0263] For example, if the indication information is 1000, the second numerical result is 3; for example, if the indication information is 0100, the second numerical result is 2; for example, if the indication information is 0010, the second numerical result is 1; for example, if the indication information is 0001, the second numerical result is 0.
[0264] In some embodiments, if PRACH is repeatedly transmitted, the SFN last reused by the PRACH may be selected as the SFN where the target preamble is sent.
[0265] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure determines the second numerical result by subtracting one from the position sort value corresponding to the bit with a median value of 1 in the number of bits of the indication information, which is used as the second numerical result, and is beneficial to the subsequent identification of the RAR.
[0266] In some embodiments, before identifying the RAR according to the first numerical result and the second numerical result, the method further includes:
[0267] The bit value of the indication information is used as the second numerical result.
[0268] Specifically, before performing RAR based on the first numerical result and the second numerical result, it is necessary to determine the second numerical result indicated by the indication information. The terminal may use the bit value of the indication information as the second numerical result.
[0269] For example, the indication information is 0100, the bit value represented by 0100 is 4, and the terminal uses the value 4 as the second numerical result.
[0270] Assume that the number of bits of the indication information is the logarithm of the first parameter value with base 2 as the true number, which can save bit overhead. For example, the first parameter value is 4, then the number of bits of the indication information is
[0271] For example, if the indication information is 00, the second numerical result is 0; for example, if the indication information is 01, the second numerical result is 1; for example, if the indication information is 10, the second numerical result is 2; for example, if the indication information is 11, the second numerical result is 3.
[0272] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure uses the bit value of the indication information as the second numerical result, thereby achieving determination of the second numerical result, which is beneficial to subsequent RAR identification.
[0273] In some embodiments, before identifying the RAR according to the first numerical result and the second numerical result, the method further includes:
[0274] Starting from the lowest bit or the highest bit in the number of bits of the indication information, read the number of bits of the first parameter value to obtain the number of bits corresponding to the first parameter value;
[0275] The position sort value corresponding to the bit with a value of 1 in the number of bits corresponding to the first parameter value is subtracted by one, and the result is taken as the second numerical value result.
[0276] Specifically, before performing RAR based on the first numerical result and the second numerical result, it is necessary to determine the second numerical result indicated by the indication information.
[0277] The terminal reads the first parameter value starting from the lowest or highest bit in the number of bits of the indication information, and decrements the position order value corresponding to the bit with a value of 1 in the number of bits corresponding to the first parameter value by one, to obtain the second numerical result. The leftmost bit is the highest bit, and the rightmost bit is the lowest bit.
[0278] For example, if the first parameter value is 4, indicating the number of bits in the information is 000100, the terminal reads the four bits starting from the least significant bit, i.e., 0010. Position sorting is from right to left, starting from 1. In 0010, the position sorting value corresponding to "1" is 2. The terminal decrements the position sorting value corresponding to "1" to 1, and uses 1 as the second numerical result.
[0279] Assume that the maximum number of bits of the indication information is a fixed value. The fixed value is equal to or greater than the first parameter value. For example, the maximum number of bits of the indication information is 8, and the indication information is SFNID7SFNID6SFNID5SFNID4SFNID3SFNID2SFNID1SFNID0.
[0280] For example, if the first parameter value is 5, indicating that the number of bits in the information is 00001000, the terminal reads 5 bits starting from the least significant bit, i.e., 01000. The positional order value corresponding to "1" is 4, and the terminal deducts 1 from the positional order value corresponding to "1," which is 3, as the second numerical result.
[0281] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure reads the number of bits of the first parameter value starting from the lowest bit or the highest bit in the number of bits of the indication information, obtains the number of bits corresponding to the first parameter value, and subtracts one from the position sort value corresponding to the bit with a value of 1 in the number of bits corresponding to the first parameter value, as the second numerical result, thereby achieving the determination of the second numerical result, which is beneficial to the subsequent identification of the RAR.
[0282] In some embodiments, identifying the RAR based on the first SFN includes:
[0283] Determining a first numerical result of a first parameter value for a first SFN;
[0284] Determine a random access radio network temporary identifier RA-RNTI value based on the first numerical result;
[0285] The RAR is identified based on the RA-RNTI value; the RAR is indicated by the DCI scrambled by the RA-RNTI value.
[0286] Specifically, because different terminals transmit the same preamble in different SFNs, the first SFN in which the target preamble is transmitted may be considered when calculating the RA-RNTI value. Specifically, the terminal may determine a first numerical result of the first SFN for the first parameter value, and then determine the RA-RNTI value based on the first numerical result. Optionally, the first numerical result may be a modulo result or a quotient result.
[0287] Therefore, when different terminals send the same preamble, the calculated RA-RNTI values are different. The terminal decodes the DCI based on the calculated RA-RNTI value and receives the RAR, which is the DCI scrambled with the RA-RNTI value. If the decoding is successful, the terminal recognizes that the received RAR was sent by the network device to the terminal. If the decoding is unsuccessful, the terminal recognizes that the received RAR was not sent by the network device to the terminal.
[0288] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure calculates the RA-RNTI value based on the first SFN where the target preamble code is sent, and identifies the RAR according to the RA-RNTI value, thereby further realizing the identification of the RAR when the sent preamble code is the same.
[0289] In some embodiments, determining the RA-RNTI value based on the first numerical result includes:
[0290] Determining an identification value according to the first numerical result;
[0291] The RA-RNTI value is determined according to the identifier value.
[0292] Specifically, the first numerical result is denoted as V, and the identification value is denoted as D. The terminal may directly use the first numerical result V as the identification value D. The terminal may also use the sum of the first numerical result V and the offset value offset as the identification value D.
[0293] For example, if the offset value is 2 and the first numerical result V is 3, then the identification value D is 5.
[0294] Optionally, the offset value offset is an integer equal to or greater than 0. The offset value offset may be notified by a broadcast message or may be predefined.
[0295] For example, when the cell does not support 2-step random access (2-step RA), the offset value offset defaults to 1; when the cell supports 2-step RA, the offset value offset defaults to 4.
[0296] After the identification value D is determined, the calculation formula of the RA-RNTI value is as follows: RA-RNTI = 1 + s_id + 14 × t_id + 14 × 80 × f_id + 14 × 80 × 8 × ul_carrier_id + D * 14 × 80 × 8
[0297] Where s_id represents the first OFDM symbol index of a PRACH opportunity, and the value range of s_id is [0,14]. When μ = {0,1,2,3}, t_id represents the first timeslot index of the PRACH opportunity in a system frame, and the value range of t_id is [0,80]. When μ = {5,6}, t_id represents the index of the 120 kHz timeslot in the system frame containing the PRACH opportunity, and the value range of t_id is [0,80]. f_id represents the index of the PRACH opportunity in the frequency domain, and the value range of f_id is [0,8]. ul_carrier_id is used to indicate the uplink carrier of the preamble transmission. ul_carrier_id 0 represents the NUL carrier, and ul_carrier_id 1 represents the SUL carrier. D represents the identification value.
[0298] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure determines the RA-RNTI value through the first numerical result, and clarifies the calculation of the RA-RNTI value.
[0299] In some embodiments, before determining the first SFN, the method further includes:
[0300] Receive configuration information sent by a network device; the configuration information includes: one or more PRACH resources and one or more RSRP thresholds;
[0301] The PRACH resource for sending the target preamble is determined based on the relationship between one or more RSRP thresholds and the measured RSRP value; one RSRP threshold corresponds to one PRACH resource.
[0302] Specifically, the terminal receives configuration information sent by the network device, where the configuration information includes: one or more PRACH resources and one or more RSRP thresholds. One RSRP threshold corresponds to one PRACH resource.
[0303] The terminal compares the measured RSRP value with one or more RSRP thresholds, determines the RSRP threshold that the measured RSRP value is less than, and uses the PRACH resource corresponding to the RSRP threshold that the measured RSRP value is less than as the PRACH resource for sending the preamble code.
[0304] For example, the three RSRP thresholds included in the configuration information are 80 dBm, 100 dBm, and 120 dBm, respectively. 80 dBm corresponds to the first PRACH resource, 100 dBm corresponds to the second PRACH resource, and 120 dBm corresponds to the third PRACH resource.
[0305] The RSRP value measured by the terminal is 90 dBm, which is less than 100 dBm. Therefore, the terminal determines that the second PRACH resource is a PRACH resource for sending the target preamble code.
[0306] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure determines the PRACH resource for sending the target preamble code through the PRACH resource and RSRP threshold in the configuration information, which is conducive to the subsequent successful sending of the target preamble code.
[0307] In some embodiments, after determining the PRACH resource for sending the target preamble, the method further includes:
[0308] Determine the number of RAR repetitions based on the PRACH resource that sends the target preamble; one PRACH resource corresponds to one RAR repetition number;
[0309] The length of the RAR window is determined according to the number of RAR repetitions; the number of RAR repetitions is positively correlated with the length of the RAR window.
[0310] Specifically, the terminal presets a correspondence between a PRACH resource and a RAR repetition number, or the terminal receives a correspondence between a PRACH resource and a RAR repetition number sent by a network device, where one PRACH resource corresponds to one RAR repetition number.
[0311] For example, the number of RAR repetitions corresponding to the first PRACH resource is 4 times, the number of RAR repetitions corresponding to the second PRACH resource is 6 times, and the number of RAR repetitions corresponding to the third PRACH resource is 8 times.
[0312] The terminal determines the number of RAR repetitions based on the correspondence between the PRACH resources and the number of RAR repetitions and the PRACH resources for sending the target preamble code.
[0313] The number of RAR repetitions is positively correlated with the length of the RAR window. That is, the length of the RAR window increases as the number of RAR repetitions increases. This positive correlation includes a positive proportion. For example, the RAR window length is 10 ms multiplied by the number of RAR repetitions. For example, if the number of RAR repetitions is 4, the RAR window length is 40 ms.
[0314] The terminal may preset a positive correlation between the number of RAR repetitions and the length of the RAR window, or the terminal may receive a positive correlation between the number of RAR repetitions and the length of the RAR window sent by a network device.
[0315] The terminal determines the length of the RAR window according to the positive correlation between the number of RAR repetitions and the length of the RAR window and the determined number of RAR repetitions.
[0316] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure determines the number of RAR repetitions based on the PRACH resource for sending the target preamble code, and determines the length of the RAR window based on the number of RAR repetitions, thereby achieving the determination of the length of the RAR window, which is beneficial to subsequent RAR reception.
[0317] In some embodiments, after determining the PRACH resource for sending the target preamble, the method further includes:
[0318] Determining a plurality of RSRP threshold intervals according to the one or more RSRP thresholds;
[0319] Determining, from a plurality of RSRP threshold intervals, an RSRP threshold interval corresponding to the measured RSRP value;
[0320] The length of the RAR window is determined according to the RSRP threshold interval corresponding to the measured RSRP value; one RSRP threshold interval corresponds to the length of one RAR window.
[0321] Specifically, the terminal determines multiple RSRP threshold intervals based on one or more RSRP thresholds in the configuration information sent by the network device, and determines the RSRP threshold interval corresponding to the measured RSRP value from the multiple RSRP threshold intervals.
[0322] The terminal may preset a corresponding relationship between the RSRP threshold interval and the length of the RAR window, or the terminal may receive a corresponding relationship between the RSRP threshold interval and the length of the RAR window sent by the network device. One RSRP threshold interval corresponds to one RAR window length.
[0323] The terminal determines the length of the RAR window based on the corresponding relationship between the RSRP threshold interval and the length of the RAR window, and the RSRP threshold interval corresponding to the measured RSRP value. Optionally, the length of the RAR window can be the RAR window length without extension.
[0324] For example, the three RSRP thresholds included in the configuration information are 80dBm, 100dBm and 120dBm, respectively. The terminal determines four RSRP threshold intervals, namely RSRP threshold interval 1 less than 80dBm, RSRP threshold interval 2 between [80dBm, 100dBm], RSRP threshold interval 3 between [100dBm, 120dBm], and RSRP threshold interval 4 greater than 120dBm.
[0325] Assume that the corresponding relationship between the RSRP threshold interval and the RAR window length is: the RAR window length corresponding to the RSRP threshold interval 1 is 10 ms, the RAR window length corresponding to the RSRP threshold interval 2 is 15 ms, the RAR window length corresponding to the RSRP threshold interval 3 is 20 ms, and the RAR window length corresponding to the RSRP threshold interval 4 is 25 ms.
[0326] The terminal measures an RSRP value of 90 dBm, compares the measured RSRP value with the four RSRP threshold intervals, and determines that the threshold interval corresponding to the measured RSRP value is RSRP threshold interval 2. The terminal then determines that the RAR window length is 15 ms based on the RAR window length corresponding to RSRP threshold interval 2 being 15 ms.
[0327] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure determines the length of the RAR window by determining the RSRP threshold interval corresponding to the measured RSRP value, thereby achieving determination of the length of the RAR window, which is beneficial to subsequent RAR reception.
[0328] In some embodiments, the configuration information also includes a maximum RAR window length;
[0329] After determining the PRACH resource for sending the target preamble, the following steps are also included:
[0330] Determine the length of the RAR window based on the maximum RAR window length.
[0331] Specifically, the configuration information sent by the network device also includes the maximum RAR window length. The RAR window length determined by the terminal needs to be equal to or less than the maximum RAR window length. Within the range of being equal to or less than the maximum RAR window length, the terminal can determine the RAR window length based on actual conditions.
[0332] When the length of the RAR window is greater than the maximum RAR window length, the terminal needs to redetermine the length of the RAR window.
[0333] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure determines the length of the RAR window according to the maximum RAR window length, thereby achieving determination of the length of the RAR window, which is beneficial to subsequent RAR reception.
[0334] FIG5 is a second flow chart of a RAR identification method provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG5 , an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a RAR identification method, the execution subject of which may be a network device, such as a base station, etc. The method includes:
[0335] Step 510: Send confirmation information to the terminal, where the confirmation information is used to determine a first SFN; the first SFN is the SFN where the target preamble is sent; and the first SFN is used to identify the RAR.
[0336] Specifically, although the preambles sent by different terminals are the same, the SFNs where the same preambles are sent by different terminals are different.
[0337] Therefore, the network device sends confirmation information to the terminal. Based on the confirmation information, the terminal determines the SFN (first SFN) where the target preamble is sent. Based on the first SFN, the terminal can identify whether the RAR was sent to it by the network device. The identified RAR may be one that the terminal has already received or is about to receive.
[0338] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure sends confirmation information to the terminal through a network device, so that the terminal determines the first SFN according to the confirmation information, and then identifies the RAR based on the first 1SFN, thereby realizing the identification of the RAR when the sent preamble code is the same.
[0339] In some embodiments, identifying the RAR based on the first SFN includes:
[0340] The RAR is sent to the terminal, where the RAR is indicated by the DCI; the DCI carries indication information; the indication information is used to indicate the second SFN; and the second SFN is the SFN associated with the received RAR.
[0341] Specifically, the network device sends a RAR and a DCI to the terminal, where the RAR is indicated by the DCI, and the DCI carries indication information, where the indication information indicates the second SFN, that is, the SFN associated with the received RAR. Optionally, the indication information may be carried by the received RAR.
[0342] The terminal compares the first SFN and the second SFN. If the two are the same, the terminal recognizes that the received RAR is sent to the terminal by the network device; if the two are different, the terminal recognizes that the received RAR is not sent to the terminal by the network device.
[0343] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure carries indication information via DCI, where the indication information indicates the second SFN, so that the terminal identifies the RAR based on the similarities and differences between the second SFN and the first SFN, further solving the problem that the terminal cannot identify the RAR when the same preamble code is sent.
[0344] In some embodiments, the RAR identification method provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure further includes:
[0345] The RAR is sent to the terminal, where the RAR is indicated by the DCI; the DCI carries indication information; and the indication information is used to obtain the second numerical result.
[0346] Specifically, the network device sends a DCI and a RAR indicated by the DCI to the terminal. The DCI carries indication information indicating a second numerical result. The second numerical result is a numerical result of a second SFN corresponding to the first parameter value, where the second SFN is the SFN associated with the received RAR. Optionally, the indication information may be carried by the received RAR. Optionally, the second numerical result may be a modulo result, a quotient result, or the like.
[0347] The terminal determines a first numerical result of the first SFN pair and the first parameter value. Optionally, the first numerical result may be a modulo result or a quotient result.
[0348] The first numerical result and the second numerical result have the same result type. For example, the first numerical result and the second numerical result are both modulo results, or the first numerical result and the second numerical result are both quotient results.
[0349] The terminal compares the first numerical result and the second numerical result. If the two are the same, the terminal recognizes that the received RAR is sent to the terminal by the network device; if the two are different, the terminal recognizes that the received RAR is not sent to the terminal by the network device.
[0350] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure carries indication information through DCI, where the indication information indicates the second numerical result, so that the terminal can identify the RAR based on the similarities and differences between the first numerical result and the second numerical result, further solving the problem that the terminal cannot identify the RAR when the same preamble code is sent.
[0351] In some embodiments, the number of bits of the indication information is the same as the first parameter value; or,
[0352] The number of bits of the indication information is the logarithm of the first parameter value with base 2 as the true number; or
[0353] The maximum number of bits of the indication information is a fixed value; the fixed value is equal to or greater than the first parameter value.
[0354] Specifically, the number of bits of the indication information is the same as the first parameter value. For example, if the first parameter value is 4, the number of bits of the indication information is 4.
[0355] The number of bits of the indication information is the logarithm of the first parameter value with base 2 as the true number. For example, if the first parameter value is 4, the number of bits of the indication information is
[0356] The maximum number of bits of the indication information is a fixed value. The fixed value is equal to or greater than the first parameter value. For example, the maximum number of bits of the indication information is 8, and the indication information is SFN7SFN6SFN5SFN4SFN3SFN2SFN1SFN0.
[0357] In some embodiments, the first parameter value is one of the following:
[0358] Number of preamble repetitions;
[0359] RAR repeat count;
[0360] The number of preamble repetitions or RAR repetitions determined based on the measured RSRP value;
[0361] Parameter values of broadcast message notifications;
[0362] Msg3 repetition times;
[0363] The number of RAR repetitions determined by the RAR window length;
[0364] The ratio of the RAR window length to the length of N time slots; N is determined by the subcarrier spacing.
[0365] Specifically, the network device presets a correspondence between the RSRP interval and the number of preamble code repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions, and one RSRP interval corresponds to one preamble code repetition number or the number of RAR repetitions.
[0366] The specific process of determining the number of preamble code repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions based on the measured RSRP value may be: the network device may first determine the RSRP interval corresponding to the measured RSRP, and then search the correspondence between the RSRP interval and the number of preamble code repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions for the RSRP interval corresponding to the measured RSRP, thereby determining the number of preamble code repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions corresponding to the measured RSRP.
[0367] The network device presets a correspondence between the RAR window length and the RAR repetition number, where one RAR window length corresponds to one RAR repetition number.
[0368] The specific process of determining the RAR repetition number according to the RAR window length may be: the network device searches for the RAR repetition number corresponding to the RAR window length in the correspondence between the RAR window length and the RAR repetition number.
[0369] Optionally, the network device may use the number of preamble repetitions, the number of RAR repetitions, or the number of Msg3 repetitions as the first parameter value.
[0370] Optionally, the network device may use the number of preamble repetitions or the number of RAR repetitions determined according to the measured RSRP value as the first parameter value.
[0371] Optionally, the network device may use the parameter value notified by the broadcast message as the first parameter value.
[0372] Optionally, the network device may use the number of RAR repetitions determined according to the RAR window length as the first parameter value.
[0373] Optionally, the network device may use a ratio of the RAR window length to the length of N time slots as the first parameter value, wherein N is determined according to the subcarrier spacing, and the larger the subcarrier spacing, the larger N.
[0374] In some embodiments, before sending the confirmation information to the terminal, the method further includes:
[0375] Send configuration information to the terminal; the configuration information includes: one or more PRACH resources, and one or more RSRP thresholds; the one or more PRACH resources and one or more RSRP thresholds are used to confirm the PRACH resources for sending the target preamble code.
[0376] Specifically, the network device sends configuration information to the terminal, where the configuration information includes: one or more PRACH resources and one or more RSRP thresholds. One RSRP threshold corresponds to one PRACH resource.
[0377] After receiving the configuration information, the terminal compares the measured RSRP value with one or more RSRP thresholds, determines the RSRP threshold that the measured RSRP value is less than, and uses the PRACH resource corresponding to the RSRP threshold that the measured RSRP value is less than as the PRACH resource for sending the preamble code.
[0378] For example, the three RSRP thresholds included in the configuration information are 80 dBm, 100 dBm, and 120 dBm, respectively. 80 dBm corresponds to the first PRACH resource, 100 dBm corresponds to the second PRACH resource, and 120 dBm corresponds to the third PRACH resource.
[0379] The RSRP value measured by the terminal is 90 dBm, which is less than 100 dBm. Therefore, the terminal determines that the second PRACH resource is a PRACH resource for sending the target preamble code.
[0380] The RAR identification method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure sends configuration information including PRACH resources and RSRP thresholds to the terminal, so that the terminal determines the PRACH resources for sending the target preamble code, which is conducive to the subsequent successful sending of the target preamble code.
