Abstract
Description
[0001] Agent’s File Reference No.202341055862 “ECONOMICAL MULTIPOWER SAVER” FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] This present invention relates to ECONOMICAL MULTIPOWER SAVER which is using chains and sprockets in the system to use in many fields such as Agriculture, transport, food processing, automobiles etc. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] It is known that chains and sprockets are used in a variety of machineries such as bicycles, motorbikes, rolling mills, agricultural machinery, machine tools, conveyors, coal cutters, mechanical power transmission applications and elevators. The well- known chain or belt driving systems are, for example, flour mill, grain harvesters, cars and many vehicles.
[0003] It is known that bicycle is the ancient vehicle running by the muscle-power of human body. Common-man can ride the distance of only 10 to 15 kilometers, which is laborious and more time-consuming process. a. Modern bicycles are only capable of providing easier peddling alone but at the same time there is an abrupt fall in the speed of the bicycle leading to more peddling revolutions as compared with speed and causes the knee-joint pain (as in gear bicycles). b. If one leaves “YOGA” & SWIMMING”, cycling is the best practice for physical and mental sustainability. Moreover, it saves valuable time, money, nature & health. c. It is eco-friendly, since it does not cause any type of pollution. PRIOR ART

It reduces foreign exchange money on fuel imports. e. The technology is eco-friendly in nature f. The technology is a mechanical device introduced in between the driving and driven systems which reduces the mechanical load excreted by the driven system on the driving system i.e., getting comparatively higher out-put through lower input. g. Mainly two important problems have been targeted in bicycle riding. They are: (a) B Bicycle riding is more laborious, consuming more & more muscular strength (energy) and (b) Bicycle riding is more time-consuming transport medium when compared to the other vehicles. I have effectively ⁰ solved the two problems. h. The new technology which is emerged through dedicated research of MORE THAN 40 YEARS made the upgradation of common bicycle so that any common man can ride this technical bicycle up to 100-150 kilometers of long distance through faster riding with slower and easier peddling revolutions. [0009] The advantages of each part of Technology: - 1. The length of the normal peddle leg is increased through 2.1 cm. The common peddle leg is 20.2cm and the same is increased to 22.3 cms. This leads to the easiness of peddling. 2. The Technology is fabricated with thin iron strips of lower weight, with self- load 6.5 kgs and capable of withstanding mechanical load of total weight of 8o to 90 kgs, with easier pedaling forces 3. Sprocket and chains: - In this technology l preferred to use chain and sprockets according to the technical requirements, so that they can minimize mechanical energy loss due to problems like slipping & creeping of chains on sprockets. I have used the sprockets of higher diameter wherever it is possible. The higher diameter increases the easiness of peddling process. Here the crank sprocket is the main driving sprocket & freewheel is the main driven sprocket. Active Sprockets: - These are the main units of our technology. I have selected mainly the sprockets of smaller diameters and are fixed in between the driving & driven sprockets at the tight side of the chain near by the driven sprockets. 4. The positions of the active sprockets are determined and pivoted (fitted) at the place where the angle of contact is set to optimum condition so that bicycle riding is easier (It is shown in diagram). 5. These active sprockets are equipped with chain adjuster systems for loosing or tightening of chains. 6. These active sprockets are fitted with bearings at the center, to achieve less weight contributing to the technical unit. 7. Totally 3 active wheels are used in three different units.
[0010] The summarization of the factors responsible for easiness of the common bicycle. 1. The technology (active sprocket) is adapted in tight side of chain system. 2. The angle of contact is adjusted to the optimum position to bring easy peddling process. 3. Fixing of driving and driven sprockets of higher diameters for easy peddling 4. Increasing lengths of the two peddle legs from 20.2 cm to 22.3 cm. to achieve easiness. (20.2 - 22.3=2.1cms.) [0018] Let us think naturally about nature. Make our mind to be eco-friendly to use natural oxygen from the plants. Find the proper solutions for air pollution Global warming, fuel & health problem through new technologies. The basic principles of the invention: - Agent’s File Reference No.202341055862
[0019] Lhave introduced small active sprocket in the tight side of the chain near by the driven sprocket, so that decrease the angle of contact of the driven sprocket to the optimum position. When I decreased the angle of contact, there is a decrease of the mechanical load on the driving sprockets excreted by the driven sprockets which is bearing the load of the system. I optimized the angle of contact of the driven sprocket and adjusted sprockets and chains not to slip relatively. I repeated the same system by 7 times introducing one active sprocket in each step. Shown in Figs. 5 to 11 i.e. (in flour-mill technology). The mechanical load gradually decreased in each step. The resultant effective decrease is large decrease in the mechanical load at the end part of the technology.
[0020] In the above system I have introduced the active sprocket (AS) in the right side of the chain which decreased the angle of contact. Here I optimized this angle of contact to achieve minimum mechanical load on the driving sprocket (DgS) by the driven sprocket (DnS) without relative slipping of chain & sprocket.
[0021] Here in flour -mill technology I have taken the sprockets of higher diameter i.e., 19.5 cms. So that RPM becomes low so that it reduces the problem of wear and tear, reduces the friction problem which enhances the self-life of the bearings & sprockets.
[0022] The technology adapted to the flourmill is more advantages than the technology adapted to the bicycle.
[0023] In the bicycle the technology is utilized or bifurcated in two ways one is to increase its speed. The second one is to achieve easiness of peddling force.
[0024] But in flour-mill since l need not to increase the speed of the system so the technology is fully utilized only for decrease the mechanical load on the motor or engine. So, the technology has full intensity to reduce this mechanical load, there by consuming less input energy. SPROCKETS AND CHAINS
[0025] In this technology I preferably used the chains and sprockets according to our technical requirements so that the opposition force due to frictional force must be minimum that is internal resistance is minimum. The positions of the sprockets are fixed so that there is no relative slipping or creeping between sprockets and chains Agent’s File Reference No.202341055862 I have used the driving and driven sprockets of higher diameters. The higher diameter of this sprockets is also responsible for the easiness of peddling. Here crank sprocket is the main driving sprocket and the free wheel is the driven sprocket. ACTIVE SPROCKETS
[0026] The active sprockets play the main important role in the whole system. I have selected the special sprockets of small diameters. These are fixed in the tight side of the chain, in between the driving and driven sprockets, near by the driven sprockets. Totally three such sets are working in the system of bicycle technology. ACTIVE SPROCKETS AND THE ANGLE OF CONTACT
[0027] The angle of contact is the angle between the directions of the inward movement and outward movement of the chain for a given sprocket. Angle of contact and easiness are inversly proportional to each other. So here l have made this angle of contact minimum (optimum) so that there no relative slipping or creeping of chain with the sprocket. The angles of contact are adjusted to optimal condition in three units. So, easiness of peddling increased for the same applied force F. These active sprockets are fitted with bearings at their center to contribute less weight to technical system. Totally 3 active wheels are used in three sets of driving & driven sprockets.
