Abstract
The present invention relates to a roll door system particularly for low temperature environments and to a method for operating said roll door system. The roll door system (1) comprising a multi-layer roll door curtain (10). The multi-layer roll door curtain including a first flexible wall portion and a second flexible wall portion. The first and second flexible wall portions form a cushion. The cushion has at least one air inlet opening (72) and at least one air outlet opening. The roll door system further comprises an air flow device (70), wherein the air flow device, provides an air flow to the air inlet opening of the cushion and to a flexible bottom profile (16) and / or to a side frame element (42, 44) of the roll door curtain.
