Description

Water-based cooling system

[0001] The present invention relates to a cold air system, and more specifically, to a cold air system using water that purifies water by circulating it, sucks in cold air from water cooled to a low temperature through a cooling means, and discharges fresh cold air into the room.

[0002] Evaporative air conditioners (hereinafter referred to as “air conditioners”) are widely known as indoor cooling devices that can save energy relatively compared to indoor cooling devices such as air conditioners.

[0003] Known prior art air coolers include Patent No. 501916 (air cooler) and Patent No. 534059 (air cooler). As shown in Figure 1, most of these air coolers are devices that supply cool air to the room by vaporizing and cooling outside air as it passes through a moisture-soaked absorbent pad.

[0004] However, since conventional air conditioners draw outside air into the air conditioner and then pass it through a water-soaked absorbent pad, when the air conditioner is installed indoors, the indoor air is repeatedly drawn in and discharged into the air conditioner, which increases the humidity in the indoor air. Furthermore, since the cooled air is drawn back into the air conditioner, the efficiency of evaporative cooling is significantly reduced even if the air passes through the absorbent pad.

[0005] To solve this problem, conventional air conditioners are installed outdoors, and a duct is installed at the outlet of the air conditioner to supply cool air indoors. In this case, cooling is performed using outdoor air, so there is an advantage of being able to keep indoor air fresh. However, in this case, there is a problem that a separate clean room must be installed to prevent the air conditioner from being exposed to the outdoor climate environment, and the air conditioner must be installed inside this clean room.

[0006] There is also the problem that the air conditioner does not detect the humidity and temperature of the room separately, but simply starts and stops repeatedly by timing control, so the user has to continuously operate the air conditioner.

[0007] In addition, conventional cooling systems increase power consumption during operation, which is a burden to users, and in particular, they have problems providing clean cooling air.

[0008] The present invention is intended to solve the problems of the prior art and has the following objectives.

[0009] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a water-based cold air system that purifies water by circulating it, sucks in cold air from water cooled to a low temperature through a cooling means, and discharges purified cold air into the room.

[0010] The cold air system of the present invention for achieving the above-mentioned purpose comprises a main body including a tank in which water injected through a water supply pipe is stored, a drain for draining the water is provided in the tank, and a case covered with the top of the tank;

[0011] A cold air discharge means provided inside the above body and discharging cold air from cooled water to the outside through a fan that rotates by the driving motor,

[0012] A purification means is provided that is detachably attached vertically to the side of the case, and purifies the supplied water when supplying water stored in the tank,

[0013] A cooling means for cooling the water purified through the above purification means to a low temperature,

[0014] It is characterized by including a water circulation unit that repeatedly circulates the water stored in the above tank.

[0015] The above purification means comprises a cover having a plurality of air intake holes to allow external air to circulate inside, a filter cover provided on the inside of the cover, and a purification filter built into the filter cover to purify water flowing in from the top.

[0016] The filter cover is characterized by having a drainage channel with a drain hole at the top and bottom.

[0017] The above drainage channel has a “V” shape in cross section, and the drainage hole is characterized by being perforated in the wall or bottom surface of the drainage channel.

[0018] The above drainage channel is characterized by being configured to slope downwards from both ends based on the center.

[0019] The drainage holes formed in the above drainage channel are characterized by being formed starting from the center and expanding to the left and right so that the supplied water can be drained evenly from the center to the entire area on both sides.

[0020] The above purification filter is characterized by being composed of a material capable of naturally purifying the supplied water.

[0021] As described, the present invention is a very useful invention that can maintain the comfort of indoor spaces at all times by purifying water, rapidly cooling it, sucking in the cold air of the water cooled to a low temperature, and discharging the purified cold air into the room, and can reduce power consumption.

[0032] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the cold air system (100) of the present invention is largely composed of a main body (110), a cold air discharge means (120) provided inside the main body (110) to discharge cold air of cooled water to the outside, a purification means (130) to purify the circulated water, a cooling means (140) to rapidly cool the water that has passed through the purification means (130) to a low temperature, and a water circulation unit (150) to recirculate water in the water tank.

[0033] The above body (110) is provided with a water tank (112) in which water injected through a water supply pipe (115) is stored, the water tank is provided with a drain (113) for draining the water, and includes a case (111) that is covered with the upper end of the water tank (112).

[0034] At this time, the water supply pipe (115) can be connected to an external water storage tank (not shown) to supply water, or can be directly connected to a water pipe (not shown) to supply water to a water tank (112).

[0035] And, at one end of the water tank (112), a valve (114) is provided to control the water supply pipe (115) by rotating according to the water level supplied to the water tank.

[0036] Meanwhile, a cold air discharge means (120) for discharging the cold air of the cooled water to the outside is provided inside the main body (110).

[0037] The above cold air exhaust means (120) is composed of a fan (121) and a driving motor (124) that drives the fan. The fan (121) and the driving motor (124) are each provided with a driven pulley (122) and a driving pulley (125), and are connected through a driving belt (123).

[0038] In addition, the discharge port (121) of the fan (121) may be positioned at the side or top of the main body (110), but it is preferable to be configured to communicate with a discharge pipe (160) connected to the outside.

[0039] And the purification means (130) is configured vertically on the side of the case (111) of the main body (110), but it is preferable to be installed on a side other than the side where the discharge port (121) of the fan (121) is located.

[0040] And it is preferable that the above purification means (130) be configured to be detachable from the case (111) for easy maintenance.

[0041] The above purification means (130) is composed of a cover (131) having a plurality of air intake holes (131a) for air circulation between the outside and the inside of the main body (110), a filter cover (132) provided on the inside of the cover (131), and a purification filter (135) built into the filter cover (132) to purify water flowing in from the top.

[0042] At this time, a drainage channel (133, 134) having a drainage hole (133a, 134a) is provided at the top and bottom of the filter cover (132).

[0043] And the above drainage channel (133) is formed in a “V” shape in cross section, and the drainage holes (133a, 134a) can be formed at equal intervals on the wall surface of the drainage channel, or can be formed at equal intervals on the bottom surface.

[0044] In addition, it is preferable that one end of the filter cover (132) be opened and provided with a mesh net (137) to prevent the built-in purification filter (135) from leaking out, and a support cover (136) is provided to prevent the mesh net (137) from being pushed to one end.

[0045] And the above purification filter (135) is preferably composed of a material capable of purifying the supplied water, and is composed of one or a mixture of natural rags, pine needles, green tea leaves, mugwort, etc.

[0046] Meanwhile, a cooling means (140) for cooling the water purified through the purification means (130) to a low temperature is provided in the water tank (112).

[0047] The above cooling means (140) is composed of an electrically operated cooling unit (141) and a cooling swaging (142) connected to the cooling unit (141), and the cooling swaging (142) is arranged in a zigzag pattern inside the water tank (112).

[0048] The above cooling swaging (142) is rapidly cooled by the operation of the cooling unit (141) and serves to cool the water contained in the tank to a low temperature.

[0049] That is, the cooling unit (141) is linked to the cooling swaging (142) arranged in a zigzag pattern inside the water tank (112), and the cooling swaging is driven at a low temperature so that the water stored in the water tank (112) is cooled at a low temperature.

[0050] And, inside the main body (110), a water circulation unit (150) is provided that repeatedly circulates water in the water tank (112) to the purification means (130).

[0051] The above water circulation unit (150) is composed of a circulation pump (151) that is close to the water tank (112) and pumps water contained inside the water tank, and a supply pipe (153, 153-1) that is directly connected to the circulation pump (151) and supplies water to the upper portion of the first cooling means (130).

[0052] One end of the above supply pipe (153) is directly connected to the circulation pump (151), and the other end is directly connected to the distributor (152) provided at the top of the main body (110).

[0053] And, a plurality of supply pipes (153-1) that supply water to each of the primary cooling means (130) are directly connected to the above distributor (152).

[0054] The above supply pipe (153-1) is positioned at the top of the purification means (130) to supply water, and may be placed at one or more locations for each purification means.

[0055] FIGS. 6 and 7 are drawings for explaining another embodiment of a purification means among the configurations of a cooling air system according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0056] The above purification means (130) includes a cover (131) having a plurality of air intake holes (131a) for allowing external air to circulate inside, a filter cover (132) provided on the inside of the cover (131), and a purification filter (135) built into the filter cover (132) to purify water flowing in from the top, and a drainage channel (133, 134) having drainage holes (133a, 134a) is provided at the top and bottom of the filter cover (132).

[0057] At this time, the drainage channel (133) may be configured to slope downward from the center to both ends, or may be configured to slope toward the center from both ends.

[0058] And the drainage hole (133a) formed in the above drainage channel (133) is formed to expand from the center to the left and right so that the supplied water can be drained evenly from the center to the entire area on the left and right.

[0059] For example, in a drainage channel (133) that is high in the center and slopes towards both ends, if the drainage hole (133a) formed in the center is small and the drainage hole expands as it slopes downward, the amount of water passing through the drainage hole can be drained evenly throughout.

[0060] On the contrary, in the drainage channel (133) formed with a downward slope from both ends to the center, it is desirable that the drainage holes on both ends be small and become larger as they go toward the center.

[0061] Additionally, the drain (134) provided at the bottom of the filter cover (132) may be configured horizontally and may be configured to have the same shape as the drain.

[0062] Meanwhile, it is preferable that the discharge pipe (160) connected to the discharge shaft (121a) of the fan (121) provided inside the main body be configured to the same size as the width of the indoor space, and a number of cooling air vents (161) are provided in the discharge pipe (160).

[0063] At this time, it is preferable that the discharge pipe (160) be formed to become narrower from the connecting portion of the discharge pipe toward the very end so that it can discharge even cold air through the cold air vent (161) provided at the beginning and the cold air vent (161) provided at the end.

[0064] The cold air system (100) having the above configuration supplies water to the inside of the water tank (112) through the water supply pipe (115), and when a certain amount of water is supplied to the water tank (112), the water supply pipe (115) is turned ON / OFF by raising the level of the water supplied to the side (114).

[0065] In this state, the water stored in the water tank (112) is cooled by the operation of the cooling unit (141) of the cooling means (140), but since it is not cooled to a low temperature at the beginning, it is gradually cooled to a low temperature through the process of circulating the water in the water tank.

[0066] That is, the circulation pump (151) of the circulation unit (150) is operated so that the water in the water tank (112) rises through the supply pipe (153, 153-1) and is supplied to the upper part of each purification means (130), the supplied water falls into the drainage channel (133) of the purification means, flows into the filter cover (132) through the drainage hole (133a), and the water that flows in is purified while passing through the built-in purification filter (135), falls through the drainage channel (134) at the bottom, passes through the drainage hole (134a), and flows into the water tank (112).

[0067] As water is repeatedly circulated as described above, it is purified and cooled, and the cooled cold air is discharged to the outside through the cold air discharge means (120).

[0068] That is, the fan (121) is operated by the operation of the drive motor (124), and the cold air rising from the tank is sucked into the fan and transferred to the fan's discharge port (121a), and the transferred cold air is introduced into the discharge pipe (160) and discharged into the room through each cold air vent (161).

[0069] At this time, the discharge pipe (160) is structured so that the inner diameter at the beginning is large and the inner diameter decreases as it goes toward the end, so that the air flow becomes faster as it goes toward the end, so that uniform cold air can be supplied to each cold air vent.

[0070] As described above, the present invention has the advantage of always maintaining comfort in an indoor space and reducing power consumption by purifying water by circulating it, rapidly cooling it, and sucking in the cold air of the water cooled to a low temperature and discharging the purified cold air into the room.

[0071] Specific embodiments of the present invention have been described above.

[0072] However, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that the spirit and scope of the present invention are not specifically limited to these specific embodiments, and that various modifications and variations are possible within a scope that does not change the gist of the present invention.

[0073] Accordingly, the above-described embodiments are provided to fully inform those skilled in the art of the scope of the invention, and should be understood to be exemplary and not restrictive in all respects, and the present invention is defined only by the scope of the claims.
