Abstract
Description
battery cell
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a battery cell.
[0002] Secondary batteries (battery cells) are receiving a lot of attention as a power source for various mobile devices and electric vehicles because they offer the convenience of being able to be recharged and discharged, unlike primary batteries.
[0003] These secondary batteries may have a structure in which an electrode assembly formed by stacking a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a separator or by winding them in a roll shape is accommodated inside a case.
[0004] Meanwhile, the case may be provided with an injection port for injecting electrolyte, but there is a concern that the hydraulic pressure of the injected electrolyte may cause damage to the electrode assembly or cause fatigue to accumulate, which may cause malfunction of the battery cell during continuous charging and discharging.
[0005] In addition, since the path through which the electrolyte flows depends solely on the number of injection ports, if only one injection port is provided, the electrolyte may not spread evenly inside the case, making it difficult for the electrode assembly to be evenly impregnated.
[0006] Accordingly, there is a need for a structure that can minimize or prevent damage to the electrode assembly caused by the electrolyte injected into the case and guide the flow of the electrolyte.
[0007] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a battery cell can be provided in which a liquid, such as an electrolyte, injected from a charging port is prevented from directly contacting an electrode assembly.
[0008] According to another aspect of the present disclosure, a battery cell can be provided in which a fluid such as an electrolyte injected through a charging port can be evenly distributed inside a case.
[0009] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a battery cell includes: an electrode assembly; a container that accommodates the electrode assembly in an internal space and includes an injection port through which a liquid injected into the internal space passes along a injection direction toward the electrode assembly; and a injection guide disposed between the electrode assembly and the injection port in the internal space; wherein the injection guide may include an injection guide that guides the liquid injected into the internal space in a first direction perpendicular to the injection direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
[0010] According to one embodiment, the injection port, the injection guide, and the electrode assembly may be mutually arranged to overlap at least partially with respect to the injection direction.
[0011] According to one embodiment, the injection guide may include a first guide portion extending in the first direction to guide liquid injected into the internal space along the injection direction in the first direction; and a second guide portion extending from the first guide portion in the second direction to guide liquid flowing along the first guide portion in the first direction in the second direction.
[0012] According to one embodiment, the container includes a case having an opening formed therein to accommodate the electrode assembly; and a cap plate coupled to the case to cover the opening; wherein the injection port can be formed by penetrating through the cap plate in the injection direction.
[0013] According to one embodiment, the first guide portion may be provided to be inclined in a direction approaching the electrode assembly.
[0014] According to one embodiment, the first guide portion includes a fluid distribution portion disposed below the injection port; and an inclined portion extending inclinedly from the fluid distribution portion in a direction approaching the electrode assembly; wherein, among the fluid distribution portion and the inclined portion, the fluid distribution portion may be disposed closer to the injection port.
[0015] According to one embodiment, the inclined portion may include a first inclined portion extending inclinedly from one side of the fluid distribution portion along the first direction; and a second inclined portion extending inclinedly from the other side of the fluid distribution portion along the first direction in a direction opposite to the first direction.
[0016] According to one embodiment, the first inclined portion and the second inclined portion may have the same inclination angle.
[0017] According to one embodiment, the fluid distribution unit may be arranged to overlap at least partially with the injection port along the injection direction.
[0018] According to one embodiment, the second guide portion may extend obliquely from the first guide portion so as to approach the electrode assembly.
[0019] According to one embodiment, among the first guide portion and the second guide portion, the first guide portion may be disposed closer to the injection port and the second guide portion may be disposed closer to the electrode assembly.
[0020] According to one embodiment, the second guide portion may extend obliquely in both directions from the first guide portion along the second direction.
[0021] According to one embodiment, the second guide portion may include a first discharge portion extending obliquely to one side from the first guide portion along the second direction; and a second discharge portion extending obliquely to the other side from the first guide portion along the second direction in a direction opposite to the first discharge portion.
[0022] According to one embodiment, the first discharge portion and the second discharge portion may face each other at the same angle.
[0023] According to one embodiment, the first discharge portion and the second discharge portion may be arranged alternately along the first direction in the first guide portion.
[0024] According to one embodiment, the liquid guide may be provided with a plurality of shower holes penetrating the flow path through which the liquid flows.
[0025] According to one embodiment, the liquid guide may have a cross-section in a U shape or a '[' shape according to the direction of liquid flow.
[0026] According to one embodiment, a through hole is formed at at least one end of the first guide portion and can contact the inner surface of the case along the first direction.
[0027] According to one embodiment, a through hole is formed at at least one end of the second guide portion and can contact the inner surface of the case along the second direction.
[0028] According to another embodiment of the present disclosure, a battery cell comprises: an electrode assembly; a container that accommodates the electrode assembly in an internal space and includes an injection port through which a liquid injected in a injection direction toward the electrode assembly passes; and a injection guide that is disposed between the injection port and the electrode assembly and guides the liquid injected from the injection port to the electrode assembly; wherein the injection guide extends in a first direction perpendicular to the injection direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and can guide the liquid injected from the injection port to a position spaced apart from the injection port in the first direction and the second direction.
[0029] Above, the solution according to the present disclosure has been described, but this is exemplary, and it should be understood that other configurations not mentioned are included in the present disclosure even if they are added.
[0030] In a battery cell according to the present disclosure, a fluid such as an electrolyte injected from a charging port can be prevented from directly contacting an electrode assembly.
[0031] The battery cell according to the present disclosure can allow a fluid such as an electrolyte injected through a charging port to be evenly distributed and flow within the case.

[0046] Hereinafter, a battery cell according to the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0047] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a battery cell according to one embodiment, and FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a battery cell according to one embodiment.
[0048] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2 together, a battery cell (10) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may include an electrode assembly (100), a container (200) that accommodates the electrode assembly (100) in an internal space and includes a liquid inlet (271) through which a liquid injected into the internal space passes along a liquid injection direction toward the electrode assembly (100), and a liquid injection guide (300) that is arranged between the electrode assembly (100) and the liquid injection port (271) in the internal space. Here, the liquid injection guide (300) may guide the liquid injected into the internal space in a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the liquid injection direction.
[0049] Here, the first direction and the second direction only need to be perpendicular to the injection direction (Z-axis direction), and the first direction and the second direction do not necessarily need to be perpendicular to each other.
[0050] The battery cell (10) of the present disclosure is illustrated as a square cell in the drawing, but this is for the purpose of helping understanding, and the present disclosure is not limited to the appearance of the drawing or the type of battery, and a cylindrical cell, a pouch-type cell, etc. can also be considered to belong to the present disclosure as long as it has a liquid port through which an electrolyte or other fluid can be introduced.
[0051] An electrode assembly (100) may be formed by stacking a plurality of electrode plates in a predetermined direction. Specifically, the electrode assembly (100) may be formed by sequentially stacking one or more positive electrodes coated with a positive electrode active material, one or more negative electrodes coated with a negative electrode active material, and a separator disposed therebetween.
[0052] The separator may be configured to prevent electrical short-circuiting between the positive and negative electrode plates and to allow ion flow. For example, the separator may include a porous polymer film or a porous substrate.
[0053] In addition, the electrode assembly (100) may be provided in a jelly roll type that is formed by being wound in a predetermined direction. Specifically, based on the drawing, a plurality of electrode plates are stacked in the thickness direction (X-axis direction) so that the electrode tabs protrude in the height direction (Z-axis direction) perpendicular thereto and can be electrically connected to the cap assembly (230) to be described later. However, the electrode assembly (100) of the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and should be interpreted to include all types in which a positive electrode, a separator, and a negative electrode are sequentially and repeatedly stacked, such as a stacking type, a zigzag folding (z-folding) type, and a stack-folding type.
[0054] The electrode assembly (100) may be provided in a form in which a plurality of electrode assemblies (100) are stacked in a predetermined direction as shown in the drawing, but the battery cell (10) of the present disclosure is not limited to the number of electrode assemblies (100) or the winding shape.
[0055] The electrode assembly (100) may include a cell room (110) in which a plurality of electrode plates (not shown) are stacked, and a cell tab (122, 124) that protrudes from the cell room (110) and is electrically connected to an electrode terminal (252, 254) to be described later.
[0056] A container (200) can accommodate an electrode assembly (100) in its internal space. The container can include a case (210) having an opening (215) formed therein to accommodate the electrode assembly (100) and a cap assembly (230) coupled to the case to cover the opening (215).
[0057] In one embodiment, the container (200) is provided in a hexahedral shape, but is not necessarily limited thereto as long as it has a structure in which a case (210) for accommodating the electrode assembly and a cap assembly (230) covering the case (210) can be provided. For example, when the battery cell (10) is a cylindrical cell, the container may be provided in a cylindrical shape.
[0058] Additionally, the container (200) may be provided with a liquid inlet (271) through which liquid to be injected into the interior passes. The liquid inlet (271) may be formed in at least one of the case (210) or the cap assembly (230) described later, but may be provided in the cap assembly (20) in consideration of the rigidity of the case.
[0059] The injection port (271) can be arranged to face the electrode assembly (100) along the injection direction.
[0060] Here, the injection direction may mean the direction in which the electrode assembly (100) and the injection port (271) face each other, the penetration direction of the injection port (271), or the height direction (Z-axis direction) of the electrode assembly (100).
[0061] Meanwhile, the 'liquid' described in the present disclosure may include all fluids introduced through the injection port (271). Specifically, the 'liquid' in the present disclosure may refer to an electrolyte impregnated into the electrode assembly (100), but is not necessarily limited to an electrolyte, and it should be understood that any fluid that can be injected through the injection port (271) and whose flow direction can be guided by the injection guide (300) described later is included in the present disclosure.
[0062] The case (210) has a receiving space formed therein and can accommodate the electrode assembly (100) therein. In addition, the case (210) can accommodate liquid injected through the injection port (271).
[0063] The case (210) can protect the electrode assembly (100) from the external environment and maintain the external shape of the battery cell (10).
[0064] For example, the case (210) may include a metal material such as steel, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, etc. to ensure sufficient rigidity.
[0065] However, in the present disclosure, the material of the case (210) is not specifically limited, and it should be understood that it is not particularly limited as long as it can maintain the outer shape of the battery cell (10) to the extent that the electrode assembly (100) can be accommodated therein.
[0066] In one embodiment, the case (210) has an opening formed on one side so that the electrode assembly (100) can enter the case interior. Meanwhile, although the opening (215) is described as being formed on one side in one embodiment, the case (210) according to the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, in the case of a bidirectional battery cell (10) in which the cell tabs (122, 124) of the electrode assembly (100) protrude in both directions, the openings (215) may be formed on both sides of the case (210).
[0067] A cap assembly (230) is provided to cover the opening and can be coupled to the case (210). The cap assembly (230) can include a cap plate (240) that covers the opening (215) of the case (210) and seals the internal space of the case (210).
[0068] The cap plate (240) may be made of a material having sufficient strength to ensure mechanical rigidity, and may be made of the same material as the case (210) from the perspective of shock distribution with the case (210).
[0069] Additionally, the cap assembly (230) may be provided with electrode terminals electrically connected to the cell tabs (122, 124) of the electrode assembly (100) accommodated in the internal space of the case (210). The electrode terminals (252, 254) may include a first electrode terminal (252) that contacts the first cell tab (122) of the electrode assembly (100) and a second electrode terminal (254) that contacts the second cell tab (124) of the electrode assembly (100).
[0070] The first cell tab (122) and the second cell tab (124) may be provided with different electrical polarities, and at this time, the first electrode terminal (252) and the second electrode terminal (254) may also be provided with different electrical polarities.
[0071] Meanwhile, in the drawing, the first electrode terminal (252) and the second electrode terminal (254) are shown as being formed to protrude in the same direction, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and in the case of the above-described bidirectional battery cell, the first electrode terminal (252) is arranged on one side of the case (210), and the second electrode terminal (254) is arranged on the other side of the case (210) so as to face each other.
[0072] According to one embodiment, the cap assembly (230) may include a venting portion (260) provided to discharge gas generated in the internal space of the case (210).
[0073] The venting portion (260) may include a venting hole (261) formed by penetrating the cap assembly (230) and a venting cap (263) arranged to close the venting hole (213), but configured to burst at a predetermined pressure. When flames and gas are generated inside the container (200) due to damage to the electrode assembly (100), etc., the venting cap (263) bursts, allowing the gas to be discharged to the outside of the case (210) through the venting hole (261), thereby preventing the battery cell (10) from exploding.
[0074] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the above-described injection port (271) may be provided in the cap plate (240) of the cap assembly (230). Specifically, the cap assembly (230) may include a injection port (271) formed by penetrating the cap plate (240) so as to allow liquid to be injected into the internal space of the case.
[0075] The injection port (271) may be formed to penetrate in the thickness direction of the cap plate (240) (i.e., the injection direction or Z-axis direction). Accordingly, the liquid injected through the injection port (271) may pass through the cap plate and be injected into the internal space of the case (210). In addition, according to the present disclosure, a injection cap (273) that seals the injection port (271) may be further included.
[0076] Meanwhile, in the drawing, the injection port (271) is depicted as being formed by penetrating the cap plate (240), but the injection port (271) of the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and may include any port that is provided in a penetrating shape so that liquid can be injected into the container (200) that accommodates the electrode assembly (100).
[0077] Based on the direction of injection (Z-axis direction, direction facing the electrode assembly (100)) in which the liquid injected through the injection port (271) passes, the injection port (271) and the electrode assembly (100) can be arranged so that at least a portion of them overlap each other.
[0078] Here, overlapping may mean that the electrode assembly (100) is arranged so that the surface projected in the direction of the injection port (271) overlaps with the surface projected in the direction of the injection port.
[0079] That is, since the electrode assembly (100) fills as much of the internal space of the case (210) as possible for energy efficiency, the injection port (271) and the electrode assembly (100) can be arranged to overlap each other in the injection direction described above.
[0080] In this structure, since the electrode assembly (100) is arranged parallel to the injection direction, the relatively high-pressure liquid passing through the injection port (271) may directly hit the electrode assembly.
[0081] If the liquid that has passed through the injection port (271) directly hits the electrode assembly (100), the laminated structure of the electrode assembly (100) may be disturbed, or the electrode assembly (100) may be broken, thereby reducing the durability of the electrode assembly (100). If the durability of the electrode assembly (100) is reduced, there is a risk that a short circuit may occur in the electrode assembly (100) when charging and discharging the battery cell (10).
[0082] Accordingly, the battery cell (10) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is arranged between the electrode assembly (100) in the internal space of the case (210) and can prevent the liquid injected at a relatively high flow rate from flowing directly toward the electrode assembly (100) through the liquid guide (300) that guides the liquid injected through the liquid port (271).
[0083] FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a battery cell according to one embodiment, FIG. 4a is a side view of a charging guide according to one embodiment, FIG. 4b is a perspective view of a charging guide according to another embodiment, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line I-I' of FIG. 4a.
[0084] Referring to FIGS. 3 to 5 together, a liquid injection guide (300) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a first guide part (310) that guides a liquid flowing in a liquid injection direction (a direction in which the electrode assembly (100) and the liquid injection port (271) face each other, the Z-axis direction in the drawing) through a liquid injection port (271) in a first direction (Y-axis direction) perpendicular to the liquid injection direction, and a second guide part (320) that guides a liquid flowing in the first direction through the first guide part (310) in a second direction (X-axis direction) perpendicular to the first direction.
[0085] The first guide portion (310) can extend in the first direction, and the second guide portion (320) can extend from the first guide portion (310) in the second direction. Through this structure, the injection guide (300) can guide the liquid injected from the injection port (271) to a position spaced apart from the injection port (271) in the first direction and the second direction, and discharge the liquid.
[0086] Here, the first direction and the second direction mean directions perpendicular to the injection direction, and are not necessarily limited to the Y-axis direction and the X-axis direction.
[0087] The first guide portion (310) may be provided to be inclined in the first direction toward the electrode assembly (100). The first guide portion (310) may include a guide slope portion (311, 312) provided to be inclined toward the electrode assembly (100) from the injection port (271).
[0088] More specifically, the first guide part (310) may include a fluid distribution part (313) facing the injection port (271) in the injection direction, a first guide slope part (311) extending obliquely from the fluid distribution part (313) to one side (+Y direction) in the first direction, and a second guide slope part (312) extending obliquely from the fluid distribution part (313) to the other side (-Y direction) in the first direction.
[0089] Since the first guide slope (311) and the second guide slope (312) are provided to be inclined in a direction approaching the electrode assembly (100) from the fluid distribution section (313), the fluid distribution section (313) arranged between them can be arranged closest to the injection port (271) based on the injection direction (Z-axis direction) among the flow paths of the first guide section (310).
[0090] The second guide portion (320) may be provided to be inclined in a direction approaching the electrode assembly (100) in the second direction. More specifically, the second guide portion (320) may include a first discharge inclined portion (321) that extends inclinedly from the first guide portion (310) to one side (-X direction) and a second discharge inclined portion (322) that extends inclinedly from the first guide portion (310) to the other side (+X direction).
[0091] The first discharge slope portion (321) and the second discharge slope portion (322) may be provided in multiple numbers and may be arranged longitudinally along the first direction. In the drawing, the first discharge slope portion (321) and the second discharge slope portion (322) are illustrated as being arranged facing each other in the second direction, but this is not limited to the first discharge slope portion (321) and the second discharge slope portion (322) may be arranged alternately in a zigzag pattern along the first direction.
[0092] In addition, the liquid guide (300) may be designed to have a structure that appropriately avoids interference with the cell tabs (122, 124). For example, the first cell tab (122) may pass between the first guide slope (311) and the two second guide sections (320), and the second cell tab (124) may pass between the second guide slope (312) and the two second guide sections (320).
[0093] The injection guide (300) may further include a guide fixing portion (330) so that its position can be fixed. The guide fixing portion (330) may be provided to protrude upward from the first guide portion (310) or the second guide portion (320) and be inserted and fitted at least partially into the injection port (271).
[0094] The injection guide (300) can be fitted into the injection port (271) through the guide fixing member (330). At this time, since the injection guide (300) is fitted into the injection port (271) through the guide fixing member (330) and fixed at a predetermined position, it can be fixed at a predetermined position without causing interference with the adjacent cell tabs (122, 124).
[0095] The injection guide (300) may be arranged closer to the electrode assembly (100) than the injection port (271). In other words, referring to FIG. 3, the shortest distance (L1) between the highest part of the flow path of the injection guide (300) (which may be the fluid distribution section (313) to be described later) and the injection port (271) may be greater than the shortest distance (L2) between the lowest part of the flow path of the injection guide (300) (which may be the end of the second guide section (320)) and the electrode assembly (100).
[0096] That is, the injection guide (300) may be arranged so that, among the shortest distance (L1) with the injection port (271) and the shortest distance (L2) with the electrode assembly (100) based on the injection direction (Z-axis direction), the shortest distance (L1) with the injection port (271) is greater. (L1>L2)
[0097] Here, L1 may refer to the distance between the part of the injection guide (300) closest to the injection port (271) excluding the fixing means (guide fixing part, 330) of the injection guide (300) and the part of the injection port (271) closest to the injection guide (300). In addition, L2 may refer to the distance between the part of the injection guide (300) closest to the electrode assembly (100) and the part of the electrode assembly (100) excluding the cell tab (122, 124) (which may be the cell main unit (110)) closest to the injection guide (300).
[0098] Through this arrangement structure, damage to the electrode assembly (100) can be minimized by reducing the difference in height between the electrode assembly (100) and the liquid.
[0099] In addition, referring to FIGS. 4A and 4B, the injection guide (300) may be provided in a shape in which the cross-section is concave to form a flow path so as to guide the liquid from the first direction to the second direction. For example, as shown in FIG. 4A, the injection guide (300) may be provided in a shape in which the cross-section is "[" shaped and partitions are formed on both sides, and as shown in FIG. 4B, the injection guide (300) may be provided in a shape bent in a "U" shape.
[0100] Referring again to FIG. 3, the first guide slope (311) may be provided to be inclined from the fluid distribution section (313) to one side with a first guide slope angle (a1), and the second guide slope (312) may be provided to be inclined from the fluid distribution section (313) to the other side with a second guide slope angle (a2). The angle between the first guide slope angle (a1) and the second guide slope angle (a2) may be greater than 0 degrees and less than 45 degrees.
[0101] The first guide angle (a1) and the second guide angle (a2) are arranged at the same angle with respect to the fluid distribution section (313) and thus can prevent the fluid from being rapidly driven in one direction.
[0102] Meanwhile, the first guide slope angle and the second guide slope angle (a1, a2) do not necessarily have to be the same and can be appropriately modified depending on the design.
[0103] Referring to FIG. 5, the first discharge slope portion (321) may be provided to be inclined from one side of the first guide portion (310) with a first discharge slope angle (b1), and the second discharge slope portion (322) may be provided to be inclined from the other side of the first guide portion (310) with a second discharge slope angle (b2).
[0104] The angle of the first discharge slope angle (b1) and the second discharge slope angle (b2) may be greater than 0 degrees and less than 45 degrees.
[0105] The first discharge angle (b1) and the second discharge angle (b2) may be arranged at the same angle. Meanwhile, the first discharge angle and the second discharge angle (b1, b2) do not necessarily have to be the same, and may be appropriately modified depending on the design, such as the shape of the case (210) and the position of the electrode assembly (100).
[0106] Additionally, the guide angle (a1, a2) may be greater than the discharge angle (b1, b2). The first guide portion (310) may be longer than the second guide portion (320) (see FIG. 4), so that the liquid may be moved over a longer distance. In other words, the flow rate of the liquid moving through the first guide portion (310) may be higher than the flow rate of the liquid transported through the second guide portion (320).
[0107] Since the second guide part (320) guides the liquid to the electrode assembly (100) through the ends of the discharge slope parts (321, 322), the discharge slope angle (b1, b2) can be adjusted so that the liquid moves more slowly than the first guide part (310) in order to reduce the hydraulic pressure received by the electrode assembly (100).
[0108] Figure 6 is a drawing showing the flow of liquid by projecting the cap plate.
[0109] Referring to FIG. 6, the fluid distribution unit (313) can be arranged so that at least a portion overlaps the injection port (271) in the injection direction (Z-axis direction).
[0110] Here, overlapping may mean that the surface projected in the direction of the injection of the injection port (271) overlaps with the injection guide (300), specifically the fluid distribution unit (313).
[0111] The liquid injected through the injection port (271) can first come into contact with the fluid distribution unit (313) among the flow paths of the injection guide (300). The liquid that has come into contact with the fluid distribution unit (313) can flow in two directions (Y-axis direction) through the first guide slope (311) and the second guide slope (312) of the first guide unit (310), and then can flow in two directions (X-axis direction) through the first discharge slope (321) and the second discharge slope (322) of the second guide unit (320).
[0112] Through this, the hydraulic pressure of the liquid flowing in through the injection port (271) can be distributed, and the liquid can be injected by being evenly distributed inside the case (210).
[0113] Fig. 7 is a modified example of the injection guide, and Fig. 8 is another modified example of the injection guide.
[0114] In Fig. 7, the injection guide (300) can form a plurality of shower holes (303) by penetrating the euro. The diameter of the shower holes (303) can be smaller than the injection port (271).
[0115] A plurality of shower holes (303) are formed throughout the first guide portion (310) and the second guide portion (320), so that liquid flowing in the first and second directions can be dispersed while passing through the plurality of shower holes (303) and flow toward the electrode assembly (100). Through this, not only can the liquid be sprayed into the case (210) to ensure that the electrode assembly (100) is evenly impregnated, but also hydraulic pressure can be distributed.
[0116] Referring to Fig. 8, at least a portion of the injection guide (300) may be in contact with the inner surface of the case (210). Specifically, the first guide portion (310) may be in contact with the inner surface of the case (210) along the first direction, at least one end of which faces the first direction, and the second guide portion (320) may also be in contact with the inner surface of the case (210) along the second direction, at least one end of which faces the second direction. Meanwhile, the term "end" herein may refer to a portion where the liquid injected through the injection port (271) is discharged from the injection guide (300).
[0117] At this time, a through hole (305) may be formed in a portion that comes into contact with the inner surface of the case (210). The through hole (305) may be provided with a larger diameter than the shower hole (303). The through hole (305) may be provided in a semicircular shape so as to increase the contact area between the liquid and the inner surface of the case (210). Through this structure, the liquid injected from the injection port (271) may be discharged through the through hole (305) and flow along at least a portion of the inner surface of the case (210).
[0118] In addition, this prevents the liquid from being directly injected into the electrode assembly (100), and allows the liquid to be injected so that it gradually rises from the bottom surface of the case (210).
[0119] While various embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations are possible without departing from the technical spirit of the present invention as set forth in the claims. Some components of the above-described embodiments may be omitted, and the embodiments may be combined with each other.
[0120] The above description is merely an example of applying the principles of the present disclosure, and other configurations may be included without departing from the scope of the present invention.
