Referring now to Fig. 3 and Fig.4, there is shown an embodiment of the package
[0080] 1 in its open configuration. That is, the outer sleeve 4 of the package 1 has been removed from the container 3, and the container 3 has been opened. Fig. 3 shows the inner container 3 with an aerosol provision device and accessories located therein. Fig. 4 shows the inner container 3 without such devise and accessories. The inner container 5 may comprise a first portion 11, a second portion 12, and a third portion 13. The first portion 11, second portion 12, and third portion 13 may be hingedly connected together. That is, the first portion 11, second portion 12, and third portion 13 may connected together by a first hinge 14 and a second hinge 15. The first and second portions 11, 12 may be hingedly connected to opposing sides of the third portion 13. For example, the first portion 11 may be connected to the third portion 13 by the first hinge 14, and the second portion 12 may be connected to the opposite side of the third portion 13 by the second hinge 15.
[0081] In some embodiments, the first and second hinge 14, 15 may be formed by a channel or groove formed in the pulp material of the single unitary component 7 forming the inner container 5. In some embodiments, the first and second hinge 14, 15 may be formed by a “U”-shaped groove or by a “V”-shaped groove. It will be appreciated that in other embodiments, the hinges may be formed by any other suitably shaped channel. The shape of the grooves forming the hinges may refer to the shape of the grooves formed in the single unitaiy component 7 used to form the inner container 5. That is, the description of the shapes of the grooves forming the hinges may refer to the shape of the grooves prior to folding the single unitary component 7 to form the inner container 5 of the package 1. In some embodiments, the inner container 5 may be further formed from one or more unitary components 7 of pulp material in combination with the single unitary component 7. For example, the inner container 5 may be formed from three separate moulded pulp parts. In examples where there are multiple parts, the parts, once moulded, ay be bonded together with an adhesive. For example, the inner container 5 may be formed from the first portion 11, the second portion 12, and the third portion 13, which are all moulded as separate unitary components 7 and then bonded together with an adhesive. The adhesive bond may form the hinges.
[0082] It will be appreciated that when the inner container 5 is in its closed configuration, the first portion 11, second portion 12, and third portion 13 may fit together to form an aerosol provision device receiving space 17 that is sealed off from the outside environment. Therefore, the inner container 5 is able to prevent dust and detritus from entering into the aerosol provision device receiving space 17, and an aerosol provision device 2 received therein cannot become contaminated. Referring briefly to Fig. 5 and Fig. 7, the cover portion 6 may also comprise a first part 21, a second part 22, and a third part 23.
