[0011] Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. In each drawing, the same or corresponding elements are denoted by the same reference sign, and duplicate explanations are omitted as necessary to clarify the description.

[0012] Example embodiments according to the present disclosure will be described hereinafter with reference to the drawings. Note that the following description and the drawings are omitted and simplified as appropriate for clarifying the explanation. Further, the same elements are denoted by the same reference numerals (or symbols) throughout the drawings, and redundant descriptions thereof are omitted as required. Also, in this disclosure, unless otherwise specified, "at least one of A or B (A / B)" may mean any one of A or B, or both A and B. Similarly, when "at least one" is used for three or more elements, it can mean any one of these elements, or any plurality of elements (including all elements). Further, it should be noted that in the description of this disclosure, elements described using the singular forms such as "a", "an", "the" and "one" may be multiple elements unless explicitly stated.

[0013] (First Example Embodiment) Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the information processing apparatus 1 according to the first example embodiment. The information processing apparatus 1 includes a storing unit 11 and a verification unit 12. The information processing apparatus 1 may include a storage device (e.g., blockchain) that stores a plurality of pieces of ID information (e.g., biometric information, signature, address, name, date of birth, physical characteristics) that can be used to identify a user.

[0014] The storing unit stores a connecting information representing an agreement of a plurality of users in a wallet of each user. The bond may include, for example, a set of pieces of ID information of each of the plurality of users.

[0015] The verification unit verifies the connecting information when the user accesses a resource (e.g., Web-site, metaverse) according to the agreement. The metaverse may be a private metaverse.

[0016] The information processing apparatus according to the first embodiment can reduce the time required for verifying the user because it only verifies the connecting information including necessary information.

[0017] The information processing apparatus 1 includes, as its components, a processor, a memory, and a storage device (none illustrated). The storage device stores a computer program that implements the processes of the information processing method according to the present example embodiment. The processor loads the computer program from the storage device onto the memory and executes the computer program. Thus, the processor implements the functions of the storing unit 11 and the verification unit.

[0018] Alternatively, the storing unit 11 and the verification unit may be implemented by a dedicated piece of hardware. A part or the whole of the constituent elements of each device may be implemented by, for example, general-purpose or dedicated circuitry, a processor, or a combination thereof. Such constituent elements may be formed by a single chip or by a plurality of chips connected via a bus. A part or the whole of the constituent elements of each device may be implemented by a combination of the above-described circuitry or the like and a program. For the processor, a central processing unit (CPU), a graphics processing unit (GPU), a field-programmable gate array (FPGA), or the like can be used.

[0019] In a case where a part or the whole of the constituent elements of the information processing apparatus 1 is implemented by a plurality of information processing devices, circuitries, or the like, these information processing devices, circuitries, or the like may be disposed centrally or distributed. For example, these information processing devices, circuitries, or the like may be implemented in a mode in which they are connected to each other via a communication network, as in, for example, a client server system or a cloud computing system. The function of the information processing apparatus 1 may be provided in a Software as a Service (SaaS) format.

[0020] (Second Example Embodiment) Fig. 2 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the information processing system 1000 according to the second embodiment. The information processing system 1000 includes a storage device 100, a user terminal 200, and a server 300. The storage device 100, the user terminal 200, and the server 300 are mutually communicatively connected via a network N. The network N may be a wired network or a wireless network. The network N may be, for example, the Internet.

[0021] The storage device 100 stores a plurality of pieces of ID information of the user. The storage device 100 may be a blockchain composed of a plurality of nodes. The blockchain may include a certificate authority. Various known techniques may be applied to the process of registering information in the blockchain. Note that the storage device 100 may be an ordinary database that is not a blockchain. The storage device 100 may store the pieces of ID information of a plurality of users.

[0022] For example, the pieces of ID information may include various elements such as biometric information (e.g., face information, fingerprint information, iris information, voiceprint information, otoacoustic information, DNA information), physical characteristics (e.g., height, weight, and blood type), name (e.g., first name, last name, nickname), address, date of birth, age, identification number (e.g., social insurance number) given by a public authority, mother tongue, appearance, avatar, status of qualification (driver's license), medical history, family information, hobbies, etc.

[0023] The pieces of ID information differ from each other in uniqueness and dynamic. Therefore, when identifying a user, it is desirable to select an appropriate piece of ID information according to the type of service provided to the user.

[0024] For example, biometric information, such as voiceprint information, face information, iris information, otoacoustic information, fingerprint information, and DNA information, has a high degree of uniqueness. Also, sign information, names, and avatars have high degrees of uniqueness. Gender information has low degrees of uniqueness.

[0025] Because DNA, blood type and biometric information are unlikely to change over a lifetime, so these pieces of ID information have a low degree of dynamic. Because height and weight are likely to change over a lifetime, so these pieces of ID information have high degrees of dynamic.

[0026] The storage device 100 may store a plurality of pieces of ID information of each service provider. The plurality of pieces of ID information may include a name, an address, a number given by a public authority, etc.

[0027] The storage device 100 further stores connecting information generated by the server 300. A first connecting information may include one or more pieces of ID information of a user and one or more pieces of ID information of a service provider. The first connecting information includes metadata indicating the type of the connecting information (e.g., purchase, access). The metadata may include TTL (Time to Live). If the TTL has expired, the first connecting information is erased.

[0028] When a plurality of users agree to hold a private meeting, a second connecting information is generated. The second connecting information may include one or more pieces of ID information of each of the plurality of users. The second connecting information also includes metadata about the meeting, such as the start time of the meeting. The connecting information is revoked when the plurality of users agree to revoke the connecting information, When the first connecting information and the second connecting information are not distinguished from each other, they are simply referred to as connecting information.

[0029] The user terminal 200 is owned by the user. The user terminal 200 includes a storage unit 210, a communication unit 220, an input / output unit 230, and a control unit 240. The storage unit 210 is a storage device in which a user program (user application) for realizing each function of the user terminal 200 is stored. The communication unit 220 is a communication interface with the network N. The input / output unit 230 is, for example, a display panel on which a touch panel is superimposed. The control unit 240 has a function of displaying the pieces of ID information and the connecting information registered in the storage device 100 on a display device such as a display panel. By displaying the pieces of ID information and the connecting information on the user terminal 200, the user can appropriately manage his or her pieces of ID information. The control unit 240 further includes a function of managing the wallet of the user. The user terminal 200 also has a function of controlling the biometric identification of the user by using biometric information such as face information, fingerprint information, and iris information of the user.

[0030] The server 300 provides a metaverse and a Web site for business matching. An example is a conference event held in a metaverse. The metaverse includes a matching area metaverse and a private metaverse. The server 300 includes a storage unit 310, a communication unit 320, and a control unit 330. The storage unit 310 is a storage device in which a program for realizing each function of the server 300 is stored. The communication unit 320 is a communication interface with the network N. The control unit 330 includes a storing unit 331, a verification unit 332, and a display control unit 333.

[0031] When each user agrees to use the service, the storing unit 331 generates a first connecting information including pieces of ID information of the user and pieces of ID information of the service provider, and stores the first connecting information in the wallet of the user. When a plurality of users agree to hold a private meeting, the storing unit 331 generates a second connecting information including ID information of each of the plurality of users, and stores the second connecting information in the wallet of each user. The second connecting information may include information such as the start time of the meeting. Pieces of connecting information may be NFTs (Non-Fungible tokens).

[0032] When a user accesses a matching area metaverse or a Web site, the verification unit 332 verifies the first connecting information stored in the wallet of the user. When the user accesses a private metaverse, the verification unit verifies second connecting information stored in the wallet of the user.

[0033] The display control unit 333 displays the pieces of ID information of each user in the matching area metaverse or the Web site. In the matching area metaverse, each user can confirm the pieces of ID information of another user, and requests another user to hold a private meeting. Here, each user can control what piece of information is disclosed to other users, that is, the user can select the pieces of ID information to be disclosed. In addition, some information may be accompanied with a verifiable credential to verify the authenticity of the information.

[0034] The display control unit 333 displays a notification information including a button or link for transporting each user to the private metaverse. The notification information may be displayed in the matching area metaverse or the Web site. The display control unit 333 may display the notification information when the start time of the meeting arrives.

[0035] Referring to Fig. 3, the flow of business matching will be described in detail.

[0036] Step S101 is a pre-matching step. First, a user installs a digital wallet, and apply and obtain the credential from the issuer. Alternatively, the administrator may create and send the link of the credential to the user. The user goes to the business matching metaverse, and registers and submits his / her credential. The user specifies and saves meeting preferences, a schedule, links along with information indicating which information is to be disclosed.

[0037] Step S102 is a matching step. The user may manually check his / her avatar profile in the business matching metaverse. This option is suitable for real time meetings. The user may go to the Web site and enter matching preference, receive and check recommended match. This option is suitable for finding an appropriate meeting partner and scheduling a meeting.

[0038] Step S103 is a negotiation step. The user submits a meeting request to a meeting partner. The partner may review the profile of the user and the meeting request, and decides if accepting or rejecting the request. The user receives an accept / reject notification.

[0039] Step S104 is a post matching step. The user and the partner, that is, the participants of the meeting, store a connecting information (second connecting information) into their wallet. The information processing system 1000 sends a calendar notification. The participants wait until the scheduled appointment time.

[0040] Step S105 is a pre-meeting step. The information processing system 1000 notifies the participants the meeting appointment. The participants visit the private metaverse. The participants present NFT connecting information tokens to access the private metaverse.

[0041] Step S106 is a meeting step. The participants engage in interactive discussing in the private metaverse.

[0042] Step S107 is a post meeting step. The information processing system 1000 mint POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol) that can be used to open secured documents. Here, the user may first submit a friend request to the partner before submitting a meeting request, and then submit a meeting request after becoming a friend. That is, in Step S103, the user first sends a friend request to the partner instead of suddenly sending a meeting request to the party with whom the user wants to have a meeting. The partner may review the profile of the user, and decides if accepting or rejecting the friend request. The user receives an accept / reject notification. After becoming friends, the user sends the meeting request to the partner.

[0043] Referring to Fig. 4, the flow of pre-matching will be described in detail. In step S201, the user configures a wallet (e.g., a biometric wallet) with a valid initial contact credential (e.g., e-mail, mobile, etc.). In step S202, the user visits a matching web site. In step S203, the user scan QR code (registered trademark) and share the initial contact credential. In S204, the user updates the profile, the availability, etc. In step S205, the user downloads the participant credential. The participant credential may correspond to the first connecting information. In step S206, the user accesses the matching area metaverse.

[0044] Referring to Fig 5, the flow for generating the meeting connecting information (second connecting information) will be described in detail. In step S301, a first user obtains a valid conference credential. In step S302, the first user visits the matching area metaverse. In step S303, the first user scan the QR code and share the conference credential with his / her biometric information authenticated. In step S304, the first user view other participants in the matching area metaverse. In step S305, the first user reviews the profile of the other participants. In step S306, the first user requests a meeting. In step S307, the first user signs with his / her own credential and may disclose the additional profile details. In step S308, the first user waits until the meeting is confirmed.

[0045] In step S309, the second user receives the meeting request. In step S310, the second user visits the matching area metaverse. In step S311, the second user scans the QR code and share the conference credential with his / her biometric information authenticated. In step S312, the second user views the meeting request. In step S313, the user reviews the profile of the first user. In step S314, the second user approve or confirm the meeting request. In step S315, the second user signs with his / her own credential. The second user may selectively disclose his / her additional profile details. In step S316, each user receives the connecting information access token in the wallet. The connecting information access token corresponds to the second connecting information. In step S317, the user receives the meeting confirmation.

[0046] Referring to Fig 6, the flow for accessing the private metaverse will be described in detail. In step S401, the first user receives the scheduled meeting notification. In step S402, the first user visits the private metaverse. In step S403, the first user may scan and share the meeting credential with his / her biometric information authenticated. In step S404, the second user receives the scheduled meeting notification. In step S405, the second user visits the private metaverse. In step S406, the second user may use the browser wallet with the bond token. In step S407, the users join the meeting as participants. In step S408, the users share secure data using the connecting information token. In step S409, the users receive the POAP token in their wallet.

[0047] Referring to Figs. 7-12, the flow of this disclosure will be specifically described. Fig. 7 shows the matching area metaverse. There are user UA and user UB. In the matching area metaverse, we need to find ways to trust identity and exchange information with other attendees.

[0048] Fig. 8 illustrates the screen for confirming the pieces of ID information of the user. The user can check the wallet number, display name, tagline, age, residence, country, company, qualification, school, etc. The information with a check mark is the information that is verified with a verifiable credential. If the user wants to add a verifiable credential for a certain piece of information, "Fill with SSI Credential" button may be pressed and add the credential. Then the credential is verified successfully, a check mark will be shown for the piece of information.

[0049] Fig. 9 illustrates the screen for checking the pieces of ID information of other attendees. This screen may be shown when PARTICIPANTS button in Fig. 7 is pressed to show a participant list and a participant listed in the list is selected, or an ID displayed above each avatar is pressed in Fig. 7. The user can check display name, tagline, age, residence, country, company, qualification, school, etc. of the other attendees. Selective disclosure and verified credential techniques may be used. That is, only the information allowed to be disclosed is displayed, and the information verified with a verifiable credential is displayed with a check mark. If the user touches the button 21, the user can request the meeting.

[0050] As illustrated in Fig. 10, the user can fill in date / time and topics. They are signed by his / her credential. Matching request is one example for connecting information type.

[0051] As illustrated in Fig. 11, the meeting notification is sent to the other user. The meeting notification may include meeting details and trusted pieces of ID information of the requester. The other user can decide to accept or reject the invitation.

[0052] As illustrated in Fig. 12, a window including transport button may be displayed on the scheduled time. When the button 22 is touched, the user will be transported to the private metaverse.

[0053] When the users access the private metaverse, the users can interact securely as illustrated in Fig. 13. After the meeting, the users can leave from the private metaverse. As mentioned above, if a user submits a meeting request after becoming friends by friend request, first place the friend request button instead of the request meeting button on the screen of Fig. 9. Then, when the user presses it, he / she can send the friend request to the other party. If the other party approves the request, when the user displays the other party's information, the screen shown in Fig. 9 may be displayed with the Request meeting button. The subsequent operations are as described above.

[0054] Fig. 14 is a diagram for explaining the connecting information token. The information processing system 1000 get Multi Parti Credential and signature for connecting information token generation. The information processing system 1000 mints NFT token 31 based on digital verifiable credential 32, digital verifiable credential 33, and additional metadata 34. The NFT token 31 is recorded on the blockchain 35. Or the NFT token 31 may be stored another storage that can ensure the correctness of the information. The NFT token 31 is added to the wallet 36 of the user. The wallet 36 may be a browser wallet or a mobile wallet.

[0055] Fig. 15 is a diagram for explaining the connecting information token. User terminals 200 includes wallets 36. Web applications 37 issue digital credentials for the wallets 36. The users access the matching area metaverse 38 and Web site 39. Web 3 dAPPS enables each user to review the profiles of the other users, send meeting requests, and approve the meeting requests. When the users agreed to have a meeting, the information processing system 1000 generates the NFT token 31. By using the NFT token 31, the users can access the private metaverse 40. Blockchain 35 may be Hyperledger, Ethereum / Polygon, ION, etc. Or another storage may be used instead of Blockchain 35.

[0056] Users may create proof data by using biometrics data and distributed keys for each attribute (e.g., birth date, sex, annual income). In this case, users manage only their biometric data. Distributed keys are secure even when they are stored in the cloud.

[0057] Fig. 16 is a diagram for explaining a biometric wallet. The user terminal 200 includes wallet 36 based on SSI / DID and biometric information. The wallet 36 can handle both credentials 41 and NFT token 31. Credentials for pieces of ID information like age, gender, address, etc., are signed and issued by trusted issuers 43. Pieces of ID information are registered in the issuer's data storage 44. The user can disclose / present signed credentials to service provider verifier module 45. This can include ZKP (Zero Knowledge Proof) technique. The service provider verifier module 45 verify the pieces of ID information by using data storage 44. In addition, service provider verifier module 45 checks mutual agreement of the users and generate the NFT token 31. The user can show the NFT token 31 to service provider token gate module 46. The service provider token gate module 46 may allow the user to access the service provider secure data storage 47. The user with NFT token 31 is trusted and given consent to be able to access protected / secured resources. The NFT token 31 is auto expired and has an ability to be revoked.

[0058] In metaverse, it's challenging to identify trusted participants. This disclosure uses SSI / DID credential issuance as pieces of ID information to ensure participants are legit / trustworthy.

[0059] While service provider is able to ensure trustworthy participants, they cannot ensure security and protection of information exchanged in metaverse. This disclosure uses connecting information tokens which will certify agreement, consent, and / or exchange information between participants.

[0060] Privacy is an important requirement. This disclosure combines ZKP in credential presentation and connecting information token gating for access control. In this way, no personal identifiable information is exchanged.

[0061] Managing wallet credential is challenging and risky. It is impossible to recover if user forget / lose digital wallet private key. This disclosure may use biometric key management technology in the digital wallet and token issuance. This enhances simplicity and security of digital wallets.

[0062] This disclosure can leverage connecting information tokens to be secured and encrypted. Connecting information tokens can be set to automatically expire or revoked which will render encrypted data inaccessible.

[0063] In related technology, when using SSI / DID, users have to scan the QR code and sign credential presentations. This P2P connection is a trustworthy but slow verification process. Alternatively, service provider can implement token gating, which is simpler and faster to verify. However, they are tied to anonymous wallet and difficult to recover when wallet private key is lost.

[0064] In this disclosure, biometric key management technology may be used. This can secure and recover digital wallet easily. This increases portability of digital wallets across devices (e.g., mobile, PC, and VR devices.) The biometric key management technology may handle digital credentials (that contains ID-Elements) and associated connecting information access tokens (created based on agreement of 2 or more parities). The use of connecting information tokens allows secure, trustworthy, and fast resource access verification as compared to SSI / DID. The connecting information access token will contain "multi-sig cryptographic key" that will be used to ensure integrity of secured data and can be revoked based on group agreement, unlike conventional NFT which can be revoked by issuer only. In addition, this disclosure rotates and logs its cryptographic key usage for full usage traceability.

[0065] The program includes instructions (or software codes) that, when loaded into a computer, cause the computer to perform one or more of the functions described in the embodiments. The program may be stored in a non-transitory computer readable medium or a tangible storage medium. By way of example, and not limitation, non-transitory computer readable media or tangible storage media can include a random-access memory (RAM), a read-only memory (ROM), a flash memory, a solid-state drive (SSD) or other memory technologies, CD-ROM, digital versatile disk (DVD), Blu-ray disc ((R): Registered trademark) or other optical disk storage, magnetic cassettes, magnetic tape, magnetic disk storage or other magnetic storage devices. The program may be transmitted on a transitory computer readable medium or a communication medium. By way of example, and not limitation, transitory computer readable media or communication media can include electrical, optical, acoustical, or other form of propagated signals.

[0066] Various combinations and selections of various disclosed elements (including each element in each example, each element in each drawing, and the like) are possible within the scope of the claims of the present disclosure. That is, the present disclosure naturally includes various variations and modifications that could be made by those skilled in the art according to the overall disclosure including the claims and the technical concept.

[0067] The whole or part of the embodiments disclosed above can be described as, but not limited to, the following supplementary notes. (Supplementary note 1) An information processing apparatus comprising: a storage unit for storing a connecting information representing the agreement of a plurality of users in a wallet of each user; and a verification unit for verifying the connecting information when the user accesses a resource based on the agreement.
