Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] HANGER FOR RIDING ACCESSORIES

[0003] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The invention, as expressed in the title of this specification, relates to a hanger for riding accessories that provides, for its intended function, advantages and characteristics, which are described in detail below.

[0005] The object of the present invention lies in a hanger that has a structural configuration specifically designed to allow the orderly placement of a set of riding accessories, specifically to hang, at least, some earmuffs, a saddle cloth or saddle pad, and preferably, also a plurality of protective bandages for the legs, all of them, accessories that are usually used for the practice of horse riding and that, until now, do not have specific means for their orderly and joint storage hanging from a horizontal bar, either to keep them in a closet at a private level, or to place them in a display accessible to customers in a commercial establishment.

[0006] FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The field of application of the present invention falls within the sector of the industry dedicated to the manufacture of storage systems, focusing particularly on the field of hangers and coat racks, while also covering the field of sports accessories, specifically horse riding accessories.

[0008] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0009] As is well known, horse riding requires a variety of accessories that are fitted to horses for various purposes. Specifically, one of the most commonly used accessories is earmuffs, which, generally shaped like a cap with two pointed covers, serve to cover the ears and minimize noises that might frighten the horse, thereby improving its concentration.

[0010] Another essential accessory is usually bandages and leg protectors, which serve to prevent blows either from jumping equipment and / or from the hooves themselves when trotting or galloping, protecting the legs from possible damage while providing firmness.

[0011] Finally, an accessory that is often essential is the saddle blanket or sweatshirt, which is placed under the saddle to absorb the animal's sweat.

[0012] The problem is that, after analyzing the market, no product has been found that allows for the comfortable and orderly storage of these riding accessories, and even less so, none that allows for the storage of all of them together. What is usually done is to store them separately, usually in drawers, on conventional clothes hangers, with clips, etc.

[0013] The objective of the present invention is, therefore, the development of a new type of hanger specifically designed to provide these characteristics.

[0014] On the other hand, and as a reference to the current state of the art, it should be noted that, at least on the part of the applicant, the existence of any other hanger for riding accessories, or any other invention of similar application, that presents technical, structural and constitutive characteristics equal to or similar to those claimed here, is unknown.

[0015] EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

[0016] The hanger for riding accessories that the invention proposes is configured as an optimal solution to the objectives previously indicated, the characterizing details that make it possible and that distinguish it being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description.

[0017] Specifically, what the invention proposes, as previously mentioned, is a hanger with a specific structural configuration whose main function is to store a set of riding accessories on a single hanger. Specifically, a set of riding accessories consisting of, at least, earmuffs, protective bandages, and a saddle pad / saddle cloth, and, preferably, to be able to store all of these accessories together.

[0018] To this end, what the hanger comprises, at least, in addition to the upper or similar middle hook for hanging the hanger itself from a bar or similar, is a double support for earmuffs, which has a specific shape with two pointed vertical protuberances, for example in the form of triangles, sized in such a way that each of the two covers for the horse's ears that comprise said earmuffs fit well into said protuberances and do not deform, while allowing the earmuffs to be held.

[0019] Preferably, this double support is integrated between the lower base and the upper vertex of the triangular, rectangular or semicircular body that, in a conventional manner, forms the structure of the hanger, with the hook located at the top of said upper vertex.

[0020] And, in any case, preferably, this double support in the form of pointed vertical protuberances is integrated into a horizontal crossbar that has recesses on both sides of them, which improve the support of the earmuffs.

[0021] Furthermore, in one embodiment, the hanger also comprises at least one lower horizontal rod suitable for hanging the mantilla / sweatshirt on it.

[0022] Optionally, said lower horizontal rod may be removable or partially releasable, in order to present at least one open end, whereby said rod is suitable for the mantilla / sudadero or for inserting one or more protective bandages, preferably the set of four bandages that is usually used for each leg of the horse.

[0023] Finally, in another embodiment option, the hanger comprises, in addition to the lower horizontal rod, an intermediate horizontal rod, at least one of which, preferably the intermediate one, is removable or partially releasable, in order to have at least one open end, whereby said rod is suitable for inserting the protective bandages, while the other will be used to hang the mantilla / sudadero, thereby allowing the three riding accessories to be stored together on the hanger, that is, the earmuffs, the mantilla / sudadero and the four protective bandages.

[0024] Finally, it should be noted that the hanger should preferably be made of any material appropriate to its intended use, such as wood, plastic, coated wire, or some other metal alloy.

[0025] DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0026] To complement the description being made and in order to help better understand the characteristics of the invention, a drawing is attached to this specification, as an integral part thereof, in which the following has been represented for illustrative and non-limiting purposes:

[0027] Figure 1 shows a schematic elevational view of a first example of the hanger for riding accessories object of the invention, showing the parts and elements it comprises as well as their configuration and arrangement; Figure 2 shows a view of the example of the hanger of the invention shown in Figure 1 , in this case represented with the accessories for which it is intended incorporated therein, showing how it is used; and Figure 3 shows a schematic elevational view of another example of the hanger of the invention, in this case with recesses in the crossbar that integrates the pointed protuberances to improve the support of the earmuffs.

[0028] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0029] In view of the aforementioned figures, and in accordance with the numbering adopted, one can observe in them a non-limiting embodiment of the hanger for riding accessories of the invention, which comprises what is described in detail below.

[0030] Thus, as can be seen in said figures, the hanger (1) of the invention, being one of those formed from a body (2), preferably triangular, rectangular or semicircular, which, at least, comprises an upper hook (3) or other means to hang it from a bar or similar, is distinguished by comprising a double support formed by two pointed vertical protuberances (4), suitable for fitting each of the two covers of the earmuffs (5) preventing them from becoming deformed.

[0031] Preferably, said pointed vertical protuberances (4) are defined by respective rods in the form of isosceles triangles resembling those of the ears of a horse.

[0032] Preferably, each triangle forming a pointed vertical protuberance (4) is dimensioned with a base (b) of 8cm and a height (h) of 17cm to allow the earmuffs (5) to fit snugly, since this type of accessory usually has standardized dimensions for said fit.

[0033] Preferably, the double support of pointed vertical protuberances (4) is integrated into a horizontal crossbar (4.1) that has two recesses (4.2), on both sides of the protuberances, as shown in figure 3, which improve the support of the earmuffs. Furthermore, in said example of figure 3 of the hanger (1), instead of a hook (3), the structure of the body (2) has a hole in the upper part to insert a hook or other hanging element.

[0034] Preferably, the double support formed by the two pointed vertical protuberances (4) is integrated between the lower base and the upper vertex of the body (2) of the hanger (1).

[0035] In one embodiment, the hanger (1) also comprises at least one additional lower horizontal rod (6), located parallel to the base of the body (2), suitable for hanging a mantilla / sweatshirt (7) on it.

[0036] This lower additional horizontal rod (6) can be fixed or removable or partially releasable, allowing at least one end to be open, making it suitable for hanging a mantilla / sweatshirt (7) on it or for inserting one or more protective bandages (8), preferably up to four protective bandages (8).

[0037] And, in another embodiment option, the hanger (1) also comprises another horizontal rod, in this case an additional intermediate horizontal rod (9) located between the base of the body (2) and the additional lower horizontal rod (6).

[0038] This other additional intermediate horizontal rod (9), in turn, can also be fixed or removable or partially releasable, allowing at least one end to be open, making it suitable for hanging a mantilla / sweatshirt (7) on it or for inserting one or more protective bandages (8), preferably up to four protective bandages (8).

[0039] Considering the example in figures 1 and 2, it can be seen how, in the preferred embodiment, the hanger (1) comprises the double support formed by the two pointed vertical protuberances (4) to fit the ears of the earmuffs (5), an additional lower horizontal rod (6) fixed to hang a mantilla / sweatshirt (7) on it and an additional intermediate horizontal rod (9) of a removable nature that allows to present, at least, one end open, to insert up to four protective bandages (8), having for this purpose respective anchors (10) to fix it again once the bandages (8) have been inserted. In addition, preferably, pairs of anchors (10) are provided located at different heights to be able to regulate the position of the intermediate rod (9) and modify the existing space with the lower rod (6) and the base of the body (2), as appropriate.

[0040] Furthermore, in the preferred embodiment, the lower (6) and intermediate (9) additional horizontal rods of the hanger (1) have a length (I) of 65 cm and identical to the base of the body (2), and an equidistant separation (s) of 10 cm between them and said base of the body (2).

[0041] Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make its explanation more extensive so that any expert in the field understands its scope and the advantages derived from it.
