Description

Power generation device with a rotary blade booster structure

[0001] The present invention relates to a power generation device having a rotary blade speed-up structure, and more specifically, to a power generation device having a rotary blade speed-up structure in which, when rotating a rotary blade using incoming fluid energy, a fluid introduced from the front rotates the rotary blade once more to increase the rotational speed, and in which, through a rotary blade structure having an open end and a flow plate that controls the flow of the fluid, all of the fluid energy is utilized while making the flow smooth, thereby maximizing the power generation efficiency compared to a rotary blade having the same rotational area.

[0002]

[0003] As global warming caused by fossil fuels and safety concerns about nuclear power plants arise, people's interest in natural energy is increasing.

[0004] Global environmental problems, including global warming, and energy problems, such as the depletion of energy resources like oil, which were once thought to be inexhaustible, are becoming a common global awareness.

[0005] Under these circumstances, power generation methods utilizing wind or hydraulic energy—fluid flow—are attracting attention as energy production methods that solve both environmental and energy problems.

[0006] Meanwhile, most conventional wind turbines, like windmills, utilize naturally occurring wind to rotate blades and generate electricity. However, because these devices rely on naturally occurring wind, the wind strength is generally weak, making it difficult to generate economical power. To achieve stronger wind power, various installation conditions, including site conditions, must be considered.

[0007] Additionally, wind power generation based on natural wind has the disadvantages of limited location conditions, limitations on generated wind speed, low wind power generation operation rate, and irregular power generation.

[0008] To solve this problem and increase power generation efficiency compared to turbines of the same size, a power generation method using wind power generated while moving vehicles such as cars, ships, and subways on the road is being proposed.

[0009] The flow of wind (fluid) generated during this driving has a strong flow speed compared to natural wind.

[0010] Meanwhile, generators used in power generation devices convert the linear kinetic energy of fluid flow through the turbine's rotating blades into rotational energy, which is then utilized. While large rotor blades can increase power production, even highly efficient ones can only convert about 40% of the incoming wind's kinetic energy into electricity.

[0011] As this conversion capacity improves, wind power will become more important in addressing environmental and energy issues.

[0012] Accordingly, research is being continuously conducted to develop power generation devices that can maximize the use of energy from fluid flow, such as wind or water power, while also increasing power generation efficiency.

[0013]

[0014] The present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned problem, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a power generation device having a rotary blade acceleration structure that can increase the efficiency of power generation by increasing the rotational speed by rotating the rotary blade using the incoming fluid energy, and by making the flow smooth while fully utilizing the fluid energy through a rotary blade structure having an open end and a flow plate that controls the flow of the fluid, thereby maximizing the efficiency of power generation compared to a rotary blade having the same rotational area.

[0015]

[0016] In order to achieve the above purpose, a power generation device having a rotary blade speed-up structure according to the present invention generates electric power by causing a directionally flowing wind or hydraulic fluid to rotate the rotary blade.

[0017] To this end, the vessel is configured to have a body shape having an inlet facing the direction in which fluid flows in and an outlet opposite to the inlet, a main body including a rotating blade in an internal rotating region, and a generator part connected to the rotating shaft of the rotating blade on one side of the main body to produce electric power.

[0018] At this time, the main body part has a main flow path in which the fluid flowing into the inlet pushes the rotating blade located in the main rotation area in one direction (A->B) to rotate forward and flows out through the outlet;

[0019] It is characterized by including an acceleration path in which, when a rotating blade rotating forwardly due to a fluid flow in a main rotation region reaches an acceleration rotation region, the fluid flowing into the inlet pushes the rotating blade in the reverse direction (B->A) to increase the forward rotation speed, and then joins with the fluid passing through the main path and flows out through the discharge port.

[0020] In a specific embodiment, the main flow path is a straight pipe that connects the first inlet port through the main rotation area to the outlet port, and induces the flow of fluid in a straight “I” shape.

[0021] And, the acceleration path is a curved pipe that connects the second inlet formed adjacent to the first inlet to the acceleration rotation area, and induces the flow of fluid in a “J” shape.

[0022] More specifically, the acceleration path is composed of an inlet pipe having a straight shape and separated by an acceleration rotation region and an acceleration path bulkhead; and an induction pipe communicating with the end of the inlet pipe and separated from the main path by a main path bulkhead and connected to the acceleration rotation region so as to have a 'U' shape by inducing the flow of fluid to bend at the end.

[0023] Preferably, the end of the booster flow bulkhead has a length positioned further rearward than the end of the main flow bulkhead, and has a rounded shape to induce fluid flow.

[0024] And, the induction pipe forms a curved surface.

[0025] Additionally, if necessary, the end of the main flow path bulkhead has a shape that is bent toward the induction pipe of the booster flow path.

[0026] Additionally, it is preferable that the inlet and outlet of the main body have a trumpet shape and are flared outward.

[0027] Meanwhile, in one embodiment, the rotary blade has a bar shape with a set length and width, forming a pocket space in the shape of the letter 'ㄷ', and forms an opening at the outer end.

[0028] Specifically, the rotary blade is configured to include an upper plate having a set length and width, a lower plate having the same surface as the upper plate, and a back plate having a curved shape that is rounded from the rotation axis to the opening while blocking the rear while connecting the upper plate and the lower plate.

[0029] In addition, the rotary blade further includes a plate-shaped plate that is supported by connecting the upper plate and the lower plate on the side of the opening, but is inclined at a set angle, and forms a gap between the plate and the setting so that the fluid can pass through the opening along the plate.

[0030] In a preferred embodiment, the Euro plates are installed in multiple numbers with the same angle and spacing, but each Euro plate has a different gap from the back plate.

[0031] Meanwhile, a power generation device having a rotary blade acceleration structure according to the present invention can be configured, in a preferred embodiment, to have a left-right symmetrical structure by having a main body part and a generator part with the same structure on the left and right sides of the main body bulkhead forming the outer wall of the acceleration path as the center line.

[0032]

[0033] In this way, the power generation device having a rotary blade speed-up structure according to the present invention is

[0034] First, by using the incoming fluid energy to rotate the rotor blades in the main passage, and then by pushing the rotor blades once more through the acceleration passage to increase the rotational speed, it has the effect of increasing the power generation efficiency compared to a rotor blade with the same size of rotational area.

[0035] Second, a rotary blade having a pocket space capable of containing an incoming fluid inside is configured, and the end is opened and a plurality of flow plates having the same height but different lengths are provided, so that all of the incoming fluid energy is utilized while the fluid flows out smoothly, thereby having the effect of maximizing the power generation efficiency compared to a rotary blade having the same rotational area.

[0043]

[0044] Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of a power generation device for a mobile means having a rotary blade acceleration structure according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0045] And, in explaining the present invention, the front refers to the part or direction into which the fluid flows based on the forward flow of the fluid (A->B), and the rear refers to the part or direction opposite thereto.

[0046] Additionally, when a part is said to "include" a component, this does not mean that it excludes other components, but rather that it may include other components, unless otherwise specifically stated.

[0047] It should be noted that identical components in the drawings are indicated with the same reference numbers and symbols as much as possible, even if they are shown in different drawings.

[0048] Meanwhile, in explaining the present invention, specific descriptions of related known functions or configurations will be omitted in order to avoid obscuring the gist of the present invention.

[0049]

[0050] As shown, a power generation device (1) having a rotary blade acceleration structure according to the present invention is a device that generates electric power by rotating a rotary blade (210) using wind or hydraulic fluid (W1, W2) energy flowing in from the front with directionality.

[0051] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the power generation device (1) of the present invention is characterized in that it firstly rotates the rotary blade (210) by guiding the fluid (W1) flowing in through the inlet (110) from the front toward the main flow path (130), and secondly rotates the rotary blade (210) by guiding the fluid (W2) flowing in through the inlet (110) from the front toward the acceleration flow path (140).

[0052] Through this, the power generation device (1) having a rotary blade speed-up structure according to the present invention increases the power generation efficiency by more strongly increasing the rotational speed of the rotary blade (210) compared to a rotary blade (210) of the same size and having the same rotational area.

[0053]

[0054] Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, a more specific embodiment of a power generation device (1) having a rotating blade acceleration structure of the present invention will be described below.

[0055] The power generation device (1) having a rotary blade acceleration structure of the present invention has a structure that largely includes a main body (100) and a generator section (200).

[0056] First, the generator unit (200) applied to the present invention is connected to the rotation axis of the rotary blade (210) on one side of the main body unit (110) to produce electric power. The configuration for producing electric power of this generator unit (200) can be sufficiently implemented using already known technology, and a detailed description thereof will be omitted in order to avoid obscuring the gist of the present invention.

[0057] Meanwhile, the main body (110) has a body shape that takes into account the size of the vehicle or space in which it is installed and the amount of power produced, and is provided with an inlet (110) facing the direction of travel through which the fluid (W1, W2) flows in, and an outlet (120) positioned opposite to the inlet (110) so that the flowed fluid (W1, W2) flows out to the outside.

[0058] And, the rotating blade (210) of the turbine is included in the internal rotating region (R) of the main body (110).

[0059] At this time, the main body (100) is characterized by having a structure including a main path (130) and an acceleration path (140).

[0060] The main flow path (130) causes the fluid (W1) flowing into the inlet (110) to push the rotary blade (210) located in the main rotation area (R1) in one direction (A->B) to rotate forward and to flow out through the outlet (120).

[0061] And, the speed-up flow path (140) causes the rotating blade (210) that rotates forward due to the flow of fluid (W1) in the main rotation region (R1) to rotate around the rotation axis and reach the speed-up rotation region (R2), so that the fluid (W2) flowing into the inlet (110) pushes the rotating blade (210) in the reverse direction (B->A) to increase the speed of the forward rotation, and then joins with the fluid (W1) passing through the main flow path (130) to form a flow that flows out through the outlet (120).

[0062] To this end, preferably, the inlet (110) of the main body (100) is divided into a first inlet (110a) communicating with the main passage (130) and a second inlet (110b) communicating with the booster passage (140). However, this is not limited to this, and it goes without saying that the fluid entering through one inlet may be separated by a separation structure such as an internal bulkhead and introduced into each passage. However, it would be preferable to form each inlet separately, i.e., the first inlet and the second inlet, so that the flow of the fluid is not interrupted in the middle and its direction and speed are not changed.

[0063] Meanwhile, the fluid (W1, W2) that rotates by pushing the rotary blade (210) joins the main path (130) on the rear (B) side through a structure in which the main path (13) and the acceleration path (140) are connected through the rotation area (R) and exit to the external rear (B) through the discharge port (120).

[0064] Preferably, these inlets (110) and outlets (120) have a trumpet shape with the ends flared outward so that a large amount of fluid (W1, W2) can be induced relative to the same area to have a smooth flow of fluid flowing into and out of the main body (100).

[0065] Meanwhile, the power generation device (1) having a rotary blade acceleration structure according to the present invention can be installed in an installation object such as a running car, ship, or subway and utilize the generated driving wind as a fluid, as shown in FIG. 8.

[0066] At this time, it is preferable that the discharge port (120) be formed so that the discharged fluid does not have direct friction with the main body of the installation object so that the discharged fluid does not affect the movement of the installation object.

[0067]

[0068] Meanwhile, as a specific example, referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the main flow path (130) formed in the main body (100) of the power generator (1) having a rotating blade acceleration structure according to the present invention is a straight pipe that connects from the first inlet (110a) through the main rotation area (R1) to the outlet (120), and induces the flow of fluid (W1) in a straight “I” shape.

[0069] In addition, the acceleration path (140) is a pipe with a bent end that connects the second inlet (110b) formed adjacent to the first inlet (110a) to the acceleration rotation region (R2), and induces the flow of fluid (W2) in a “J” shape.

[0070] In other words, the main channel (130) has a shape that maintains the same flow direction (A->B) of the fluid, and the acceleration channel (140) has a shape that induces the flow of the fluid so that the fluid at the end can further push the rotating blade (210) that is rotating to increase the speed.

[0071] More specifically, the acceleration path (140) can be divided into a straight inlet pipe (140a) and a curved guide pipe (140b). The inlet pipe (140a) is divided by an acceleration rotation region (R2) and an acceleration path partition (150) and has a straight shape. In addition, the guide pipe (140b) has a structure in which the flow of the fluid (W2) is induced to bend at the end to have a 'U' shape, is connected to the end of the inlet pipe (140a), and is divided from the main path (130) by a main path partition (160) and is connected to the acceleration rotation region (R2) (see FIG. 3).

[0072] In addition, it is preferable that the booster flow path bulkhead (150) has a length such that its end (151) is positioned at a position rearward (B) from the end (161) of the main flow path bulkhead (160), and has a rounded shape to stably induce the flow of fluid (W2) and prevent energy loss.

[0073] In addition, it is preferable that the induction pipe (140b) of the acceleration path (140) form a curved surface (141) on the inner surface to stably induce the flow of fluid (W2) and prevent energy loss.

[0074] And, if necessary, the end (161) of the main flow path bulkhead (160) can be bent toward the induction pipe (140b) so that the fluid (W1) passing through the main rotation area (R1) can be stably guided toward the discharge port (120) and the fluid (W2) passing through the induction pipe (140b) of the acceleration flow path (140) can be stably guided to the acceleration rotation area (R2).

[0075] In this way, the power generation device (1) having a rotary blade acceleration structure according to the present invention rotates the rotary blade (210) in the main passage (130) of the main body (100) using the energy of the flow of the flowing fluid (W1), and then the energy of the flowing fluid (W2) pushes the rotary blade (210) once more through the acceleration passage (140) to increase its rotational speed, thereby maximizing the power generation efficiency compared to a rotary blade having a rotational area (R) of the same size.

[0076] Meanwhile, a power generation device (1) having a rotary blade acceleration structure according to the present invention, as shown in Fig. 8, is installed in an installation object such as a running car, ship, or subway and uses the generated wind power as a fluid.

[0077] As an example, it can be configured as a single turbine type with one first inlet (110a) and one second inlet (110b), as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3.

[0078] However, for these high-speed vehicles, ships, and subways, stability is of utmost importance as they are objects moving at high speeds.

[0079] Accordingly, when applying the power generation device (1) of the present invention to such a high-speed moving object, it is more preferable to apply a twin turbine type having a left-right symmetrical structure in which the main body part (100) and the generator part (200) of the same structure are respectively provided on the left and right sides of the main body bulkhead (101) forming the outer wall of the speed increasing passage (140) with the center line (O) in order to reduce shaking during driving and maintain left-right balance to achieve more stable power generation, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4.

[0080]

[0081] Next, with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7, a preferred embodiment of a rotary blade (210) applied to a power generation device (1) having a rotary blade acceleration structure according to the present invention will be examined in more detail.

[0082] When the power generator (1) according to the present invention is applied to an object such as a high-speed automobile, ship, or subway, the speed of the flowing fluid is very fast, and the speed of the rotating blade (210) also rotates at a high speed of 20 m / s or more.

[0083] Accordingly, the shape of the rotary blade (210) must not only utilize the force to simply block and push out the incoming fluid, but must also allow the fluid to flow out smoothly from the rotating rotary blade (210) without stagnation.

[0084] To this end, the rotary blade (210) applied to the power generation device (1) of the present invention preferably has a bar shape with a set length and width and a pocket space (S) having a 'ㄷ' shape in its cross section, and is characterized by forming an opening (215) at the outer end.

[0085] According to this structure, the fluid (W1, W2) introduced into the pocket space (S) pushes the rotary blade (210), and when the rotary blade (210) rotates around the rotation axis and the rotation area in which it is located changes, it escapes through the opening (215), making it easy for new fluid (W2, W1) to be introduced into the pocket space (S2).

[0086] As a more specific embodiment, referring to FIG. 6, the rotary blade (210) applied to the present invention is configured to include an upper plate (211) having a set length and width, a lower plate (212) having the same surface as the upper plate (211), and a back plate (213) that connects the upper plate (211) and the lower plate (212) while blocking the rear, and has a rounded curved shape from the rotation axis to the opening (215).

[0087] The rounded curved back plate (213) like this reduces fluid resistance.

[0088] Meanwhile, when the fluid pushes the rotary blade (210) so that the rotary blade (210) can utilize more fluid energy, the fluid needs to be gathered rather than scattered outside the rotary blade (210).

[0089] To this end, the rotary blade (210) of the present invention further includes a Euro plate (214) that connects the upper plate (211) and the lower plate (212) while having a gap with the plate (213) on the side of the opening (215).

[0090] Specifically, the euro plate (214) is a plate shape that supports the upper plate (211) and the lower plate (212) by connecting them on the opening (215) side, but is inclined at a set angle (α), and forms a gap between the plate (213) and the setting so that the fluid can flow out through the opening (215) along the plate (213).

[0091] When the fluid pushes the rotary blade (210) within the rotation area by the euro plate (214), the fluid is blocked by the euro plate (214) and does not scatter outward but gathers, thereby pushing the rotary blade (210) with a stronger force. When the rotation area in which the rotary blade (210) is located changes by rotating around the rotation axis, the fluid moves through the gap between the euro plate (214) and the plate (213) and escapes through the opening (215), making it easy for new fluid (W1, W2) to flow into the pocket space (S2) (see FIG. 7).

[0092] In a preferred embodiment, the angle (α) of the euro plate (214) is 45°.

[0093] Meanwhile, the above-described Euro plates (214) are installed in multiple numbers with the same angle and spacing, but it is preferable to install two or more, and each Euro plate (214) has a different gap from the back plate (213).

[0094] For example, as in Fig. 6, when forming three Euro plates (214), it is preferable that the Euro plate length (t3) at a position close to the rotation axis be shorter than the Euro plate length (t2) at the central position, and that the Euro plate length (t2) at the central position be shorter than the outermost Euro plate length (t1).

[0095]

[0096] The power generation device (1) having a rotary blade speed-up structure according to the present invention, configured as described above, is installed on a running automobile (C1) as in the embodiment of Fig. 8 to generate power using high-speed wind power, and can be preferably installed on the upper part of the body or bonnet of the automobile (C1).

[0097] At this time, the power produced by the power generator (1) can be stored in the battery and used as driving power, and the flow of fluid discharged through the discharge port (120) can also be used as cooling air for the battery.

[0098]

[0099] As described above, the power generation device (1) having a rotary blade acceleration structure according to the present invention can increase the power generation efficiency compared to a rotary blade having a rotation area (R) of the same size by rotating the rotary blade (210) in the main passage (130) using the incoming fluid energy, and then increasing the rotation speed by pushing the rotary blade (210) once more with the incoming fluid energy through the acceleration passage (140).

[0100] In addition, a rotary blade (210) having a pocket space (S) capable of containing an incoming fluid inside is configured, but the end is opened and a plurality of flow plates (214) of different lengths are provided so as to collect and utilize all of the incoming fluid energy while facilitating the flow of the fluid out, thereby maximizing the power generation efficiency compared to a rotary blade (210) having the same rotational area (R).

[0101] The present invention described above is not limited to the above-described embodiments and the attached drawings, as various substitutions, modifications, and changes can be made within the scope of the technical idea of the present invention by a person having ordinary skill in the technical field to which the invention pertains.
