[0028] Unless expressly stated otherwise, throughout the specification and claims, the term "comprise" or variations such as "include" or "comprising", etc., will be understood to include the stated elements or components but not to exclude other elements or other components.
[0029] As shown in Figures 1 to 5, a battery cell assembly according to one embodiment of the present application includes a battery cell housing 1 and a battery cell body 2 installed in the battery cell housing 1. A battery cell holder 11 defines a receiving cavity 111, and a receiving hole 112 is defined on the outer surface of the battery cell holder 11. The receiving hole 112 communicates with the receiving cavity 111. A nickel sheet 12 is installed on the battery cell holder 11, with a portion of the nickel sheet 12 located within the receiving hole 112. The top surface of the nickel sheet 12 is flush with or below the outer surface of the battery cell holder 11.
[0030] The battery cell casing of the present application provides a receiving hole on the battery cell holder, and utilizes the receiving hole to make the top surface of the nickel sheet flush with or below the outer surface of the battery cell holder, thereby reducing the scratches between the nickel sheet and the battery pack shell, and further reducing the damage to the nickel sheet.
[0031] Such an arrangement can prevent the nickel sheet 12 from scratching the battery pack shell when the battery cell assembly is installed in the battery pack shell, thereby avoiding affecting the installation efficiency of the battery pack and affecting the performance and service life of the nickel sheet.
[0032] It is understood that the top surface of the nickel sheet 12 is flush with or below the outer surface of the cell holder 11. The outer surface of the cell holder 11 is the surface having the receiving hole 112. In the embodiment shown in FIG2 , the cell holder 11 may have a mounting surface 114, and the receiving hole 112 is formed on the mounting surface 114. In this case, the outer surface of the cell holder 11 is referred to as the mounting surface 114.
[0033] On the other hand, the accommodating hole 112 can also position the nickel sheet 12, thereby improving the accuracy of the installation position of the nickel sheet 12 and the battery cell holder 11, and improving the product yield and production efficiency. As shown in Figures 1, 2 and 4, the battery cell holder 11 may include two connected half shells 113, each half shell 113 is provided with an accommodating hole 112, and the accommodating hole 112 of each half shell 113 can be installed with a nickel sheet 12, and the nickel sheet 12 can include a positive nickel sheet 12 and a negative nickel sheet 12. The positive nickel sheet 12 is welded to the positive electrode of the battery cell body 2, and the negative nickel sheet 12 is welded to the negative electrode of the battery cell body 2. That is, at least one positive nickel sheet 12 can be installed on one half shell 113, and at least one negative nickel sheet 12 can be installed on the other half shell 113. It can be understood that the structure in Figure 2 can be considered as one of the half shells 113 of the battery cell holder 11.
[0034] For example, the two half shells 113 can be connected by means of snap connection, riveting, bolt connection, interference fit, etc.
[0035] In one embodiment, the nickel sheet 12 includes a main body 121 and a connecting portion 122 disposed on the main body 121. The receiving hole 112 includes a first connecting portion 1122 communicating with the receiving cavity 111. The connecting portion 122 is at least partially located within the first connecting portion 1122. The connecting portion 122 is at least partially located within the first connecting portion 1122 to facilitate welding of the nickel sheet 12 to the battery cell body 2.
[0036] Illustratively, the accommodating hole 112 further includes a second connecting portion 1121 formed on the outer surface of the cell holder 11, a first connecting portion 1122 formed on the bottom wall of the second connecting portion 1121, and the main body 121 located within the second connecting portion 1121. The main body 121 cooperates with the second connecting portion 1121, and the connecting portion 122 of the nickel sheet 12 cooperates with the first connecting portion 1122, thereby achieving the mutual positioning function of the cell holder 11 and the nickel sheet 12.
[0037] Optionally, the connecting portion 122 is protruded from the main body 121 in a direction away from the top surface of the nickel sheet 12; the second connecting portion 1121 is larger than the first connecting portion 1122, a stepped surface 1123 is formed between the second connecting portion 1121 and the first connecting portion 1122, and the main body 121 includes a mating portion 1211 that mates with the stepped surface 1123. The mating portion 1211 and the stepped surface 1123 can also function as a positioning mechanism.
[0038] It is understood that the main body 121 has a first surface 124 and a second surface 125 disposed opposite to each other, and the connecting portion 122 is protruded from the first surface 124 of the main body 121. The second surface 125 of the main body 121 is the top surface of the nickel sheet 12; or the second surface 125 of the main body 121 is a portion of the top surface of the nickel sheet 12.
[0039] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, optionally, a step surface 1123 is formed between the second connecting portion 1121 and the first connecting portion 1122, and the main body 121 cooperates with the step surface 1123. Such an arrangement can reduce dust from entering the first connecting portion 1122.
[0040] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the nickel sheet 12 and the receiving hole 112 optionally form a maze structure 13. This arrangement can reduce the entry of dust from the space between the outer edge of the nickel sheet 12 and the cell holder 11 into the space between the nickel sheet 12 and the cell body 2.
[0041] Exemplarily, as shown in FIG5 , a first gap 131 is formed between the outer wall of the main body 121 and the second connecting portion 1121. A stepped surface 1123 is formed between the second connecting portion 1121 and the first connecting portion 1122. A second gap 132 is formed between the main body 121 and the stepped surface 1123. The labyrinth structure 13 includes the interconnected first gap 131 and the second gap 132. The extension direction of the first gap 131 is not parallel to the extension direction of the second gap 132. The first gap 131 and the second gap 132 cooperate to form a labyrinth structure 13. As shown in FIG5 , the second gap 132 is formed between the first surface 124 of the main body 121 and the stepped surface 1123.
[0042] Optionally, a third gap 133 is formed between the connecting portion 122 and the first connecting portion 1122. The third gap 133 is connected to the second gap 132. The labyrinth structure 13 includes the third gap 133. The extension direction of the third gap 133 is not parallel to the extension direction of the second gap 132, thereby enhancing the dustproof effect of the labyrinth structure 13.
[0043] In a specific embodiment, the main body 121 is located in the second connecting portion 1121 . It can be understood that the main body 121 does not protrude from the mounting surface 114 of the cell holder 11 , and the flatness of the mounting surface 114 is maintained as much as possible.
[0044] In one embodiment, the connection portion 122 is provided with a welding point portion 123. The welding point portion 123 can be protruded from the connection portion 122; the welding point portion 123 can protrude out of the receiving hole 112, enter the receiving cavity 111, and be welded to the positive or negative electrode of the battery cell body 2.
[0045] For example, as shown in FIG3 , two welding spots 123 may be protruded from the connecting portion 122 at intervals.
[0046] The nickel sheet 12 may be integrally formed. For example, the connecting portion 122 may be formed by stamping the main body 121 .
[0047] As shown in FIG3 , in one embodiment, a plurality of connection portions 122 are provided on the main body portion 121 . For example, two connection portions 122 may be provided on one main body portion 121 .
[0048] In the embodiment shown in Figure 3, the connecting portion 122 has no opening, or there is no opening on the nickel sheet 12 at the connecting portion 122. The entire nickel sheet 12 can be considered a sealed nickel sheet 12, or the connecting portion 122 can be considered a sealed connecting portion 122.
[0049] In the embodiment shown in Figure 6, the connecting portion 122 can be considered as two or more ear-shaped structures, and there is a gap 1221 between the two or more ear-shaped structures, that is, the connecting portion 122 can be considered as a semi-open or open connecting portion 122, or the entire nickel sheet 12 can be considered as a semi-open or open nickel sheet 12.
[0050] In one embodiment, the battery cell assembly further includes waterproof paper wrapped around the battery cell housing 1. The waterproof paper also serves to prevent dust. For example, the waterproof paper can extend to cover the terminals where the nickel sheet 12 is connected to the circuit board.
[0051] The battery cell holder 11 can be wrapped with waterproof paper, other dustproof parts or protective parts, such as red steel paper, dustproof paper, insulating paper, etc. Compared with the nickel sheet 12 in the related art, which basically protrudes from the mounting surface 114 of the battery cell holder 11, the nickel sheet 12 of the present application is partially located in the accommodating hole 112, and the top surface of the nickel sheet 12 is flush with the outer surface of the battery cell holder 11 or below the outer surface. Such a design can avoid the nickel sheet 12 protruding from the mounting surface 114 of the battery cell holder 11, resulting in the protective parts wrapped outside the battery cell housing 1 being damaged due to the protruding part of the nickel sheet 12, thereby making the waterproof paper, other dustproof parts or protective parts ineffective.
[0052] The foregoing descriptions of specific exemplary embodiments of the present application are for purposes of illustration and description. These descriptions are not intended to limit the present application to the precise forms disclosed, and it is apparent that many variations and modifications are possible in light of the foregoing teachings. The exemplary embodiments are selected and described for the purpose of explaining the specific principles of the present application and their practical application, thereby enabling those skilled in the art to realize and utilize the various exemplary embodiments of the present application and various options and modifications. The scope of the present application is intended to be defined by the claims and their equivalents.
