Description
Communication method and device
[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the State Intellectual Property Office on September 28, 2023, with application number 202311281517.8 and application name “A Communication Method and Device”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field
[0002] The embodiments of the present application relate to the field of communications, and in particular to a communication method and apparatus. Background Art
[0003] The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) introduced uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) to meet the communication needs of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). With the increasing prevalence of UAVs, base stations are able to receive more signals from terminal devices, such as ground-based terminals (such as mobile phones and computers) and aerial terminals (such as UAVs), resulting in increased interference to base stations.
[0004] Therefore, how to reduce interference to base stations is an urgent problem to be solved.
[0005] Summary of the Invention
[0006] Embodiments of the present application provide a communication method and apparatus that can reduce interference to wireless access network equipment.
[0007] In a first aspect, a communication method is provided. The method can be executed by a terminal device, or by a component of the terminal device, such as a processor, chip, or chip system of the terminal device, or by a logic module or software capable of implementing all or part of the functions of the terminal device. The method includes: obtaining a first domain, prohibiting data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain; and within the first domain, performing data transmission on a second frequency band, or maintaining a radio resource control (RRC) deactivated state or an RRC idle state, wherein at least one first frequency band and the second frequency band are different.
[0008] Based on this solution, within the first domain, the terminal device can choose to transmit data on a second frequency band other than the first frequency band, or not to transmit data (i.e., maintain the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state). Since no data transmission is performed within the first domain, the interference to the wireless access network device near the terminal device can be reduced within the first domain. In addition, since at least one first frequency band is a frequency band where data transmission is prohibited within the first domain. Based on this, the frequency band that causes interference to the wireless access network device within the first domain can be configured as the first frequency band. Therefore, within the first domain, the terminal device can choose to transmit data on a second frequency band other than the first frequency band, thereby reducing interference to the wireless access network device.
[0009] In one possible design, before the terminal device enters the first domain, the communication method also includes: receiving second indication information, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the second frequency band, or the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0010] In one possible design, before receiving the second indication information, the communication method also includes: sending a first request message, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, or the first request message is used to request to release the RRC connection.
[0011] Based on this possible design, the terminal device perceives the first domain and actively requests the RRC connection to be released or to transmit data on the second frequency band (i.e., the terminal device sends a first request message). As a result, the wireless access network device does not need to perceive the first domain, but only needs to respond to the first request message (i.e., the wireless access network device sends a second indication information), thereby reducing the amount of computation of the wireless access network device.
[0012] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: determining a first measurement result, the first measurement result including a measurement result corresponding to at least one frequency point; when one or more of the at least one frequency point are located within the second frequency band, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band; when each of the at least one frequency point is located within at least one first frequency band, the first request message is used to request the release of the RRC connection.
[0013] In one possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the second frequency band, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the first request message is used to request data transmission on the secondary cell.
[0014] In one possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the second frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the first request message is used to request data transmission on the main cell.
[0015] In one possible design, before receiving the second indication information, the communication method further includes: determining a first measurement result, where the first measurement result is used to determine the second indication information; and sending the first measurement result.
[0016] Based on this possible design, the radio access network device senses the first domain and instructs the terminal device to release the RRC connection or transmit data on the second frequency band (i.e., sends a second indication message to the terminal device), thereby reducing the amount of computation performed by the terminal device and saving computing power for the terminal device.
[0017] In one possible design, the first measurement result includes a measurement result corresponding to at least one frequency point; when one or more of the at least one frequency point are located within the second frequency band, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the second frequency band; when each of the at least one frequency point is located within at least one first frequency band, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0018] In one possible design, before receiving the second indication information, the communication method also includes: sending third indication information, the third indication information is used to indicate at least one first frequency band, and the third indication information is used to determine the second indication information.
[0019] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: sending fourth indication information, the fourth indication information is used to indicate the first domain, and the fourth indication information is used to determine the second indication information.
[0020] Based on this possible design, after acquiring the first domain, the wireless access network device can determine the time to send the second indication information based on the first domain. For example, the wireless access network device can obtain the location of the terminal device in real time, thereby determining when the terminal device is about to enter the first domain. Thus, before the terminal device enters the first domain, the terminal device sends the second indication information, enabling the terminal device to transmit data on the second frequency band within the first domain, or to maintain an RRC deactivated state or an RRC idle state.
[0021] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: sending a second measurement result, wherein the second measurement result is a measurement result after the terminal device leaves the first domain; or, after the terminal device leaves the first domain, sending a second request message, the second request message is used to request to establish an RRC connection.
[0022] In one possible design, after sending the second measurement result, the communication method also includes: receiving fifth indication information, the fifth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on a third frequency band, and the second measurement result includes a measurement result corresponding to a frequency point on the third frequency band.
[0023] In one possible design, after sending the second request message, the communication method also includes: receiving sixth indication information, where the sixth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to establish an RRC connection.
[0024] In a second aspect, a communication method is provided. The method can be performed by a radio access network device, or by a component of the radio access network device, such as a processor, chip, or chip system of the radio access network device, or by a logic module or software capable of implementing all or part of the functions of the radio access network device. The method includes: sending second indication information, the second indication information being used to instruct a terminal device to perform data transmission on a second frequency band, or the second indication information being used to instruct the terminal device to release an RRC connection, the second frequency band being different from at least one first frequency band of a first domain, the radio access network device being a serving radio access network device of the terminal device, and prohibiting data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain.
[0025] Based on this solution, in the first domain, the wireless access network device terminal device sends a second indication information. This enables the terminal device to choose to transmit data on a second frequency band other than the first frequency band, or not to transmit data (i.e., maintain the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state). Since no data transmission is performed in the first domain, the interference to the wireless access network device near the terminal device can be reduced in the first domain. In addition, since at least one first frequency band is a frequency band in which data transmission is prohibited in the first domain. Based on this, the frequency band that causes interference to the wireless access network device in the first domain can be configured as the first frequency band. Therefore, in the first domain, the terminal device can choose to transmit data on a second frequency band other than the first frequency band, thereby reducing interference to the wireless access network device.
[0026] In one possible design, sending the second indication information includes: sending the second indication information before the terminal device enters the first domain.
[0027] In one possible design, before sending the second indication information, the communication method also includes: receiving a first request message, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, or the first request message is used to request to release the RRC connection.
[0028] In one possible design, before sending the second indication information, the communication method also includes: receiving a first measurement result, where the first measurement result is used to determine the second indication information.
[0029] In one possible design, before sending the second indication information, the communication method also includes: receiving third indication information, the third indication information is used to indicate at least one first frequency band, and the third indication information is used to determine the second indication information.
[0030] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: sending fourth indication information, the fourth indication information is used to indicate the first domain, and the fourth indication information is used to determine the second indication information.
[0031] In one possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the second frequency band, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the second frequency band, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the secondary cell.
[0032] In one possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the second frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the second frequency band, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the main cell.
[0033] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: receiving a second measurement result, wherein the second measurement result is a measurement result after the terminal device leaves the first domain; or, receiving a second request message, wherein the second request message is used to request establishment of an RRC connection.
[0034] In one possible design, after receiving the second measurement result, the communication method also includes: sending fifth indication information, the fifth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on a third frequency band, and the second measurement result includes the measurement result corresponding to the frequency point on the third frequency band.
[0035] In one possible design, after receiving the second request message, the communication method also includes: sending sixth indication information, where the sixth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to establish an RRC connection.
[0036] In combination with the first aspect and the second aspect, in one possible design, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to switch to the second frequency band.
[0037] In combination with the first aspect and the second aspect, in a possible design, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the first request message is used to request switching to the second frequency band.
[0038] In combination with the first and second aspects, in a possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the second frequency band, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the first request message is used to request data transmission only on the secondary cell, or the first request message is used to request that the secondary cell be changed to the main cell.
[0039] In combination with the first and second aspects, in a possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the second frequency band, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the secondary cell, or the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to change the secondary cell to the main cell.
[0040] In combination with the first aspect and the second aspect, in a possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the second frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the main cell, including: the first request message is used to request data transmission only on the main cell, or the first request message is used to request deletion or deactivation of the secondary cell.
[0041] In one possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the second frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the main cell, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the main cell, or the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to delete or deactivate the secondary cell.
[0042] In combination with the first aspect and the second aspect, in one possible design, the fifth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the third frequency band, including: the fifth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to switch to the third frequency band.
[0043] Among them, the technical effects brought about by any possible design of the second aspect can refer to the technical effects brought about by the corresponding design in the above-mentioned first aspect, and will not be repeated here.
[0044] In a third aspect, a communication method is provided. The method can be executed by a terminal device, or by a component of the terminal device, such as a processor, chip, or chip system of the terminal device, or by a logic module or software that can implement all or part of the functions of the terminal device. The method includes: obtaining a first trigger condition, where the first trigger condition is determined based on a first domain and prohibits data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain; and when the first trigger condition is met, performing data transmission on a fourth frequency band, or in an RRC deactivated state or an RRC idle state, at least one of the first frequency band and the fourth frequency band are different.
[0045] Based on this solution, since the first trigger condition is determined based on the first domain and data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band within the first domain, the first trigger condition can be flexibly set. For example, the first trigger condition can be determined based on the distance between the first domain and the terminal device. For example, the imminent entry of the terminal device into the first domain can be used as a condition for satisfying the first trigger condition, allowing the terminal device to transmit data on the fourth frequency band upon entering the first domain, or to be in the RRC deactivated state or RRC idle state, with at least one first frequency band different from the fourth frequency band. Thus, within the first domain, the terminal device can maintain data transmission on the fourth frequency band or maintain the RRC deactivated state or RRC idle state. Since the RRC deactivated state or RRC idle state is maintained within the first domain, i.e., no data transmission is performed within the first domain, interference to radio access network devices near the terminal device can be reduced within the first domain. Furthermore, since at least one first frequency band is a frequency band where data transmission is prohibited within the first domain, the frequency band within the first domain that causes interference to the radio access network device can be configured as the first frequency band. Therefore, within the first domain, the terminal device can choose to transmit data on the second frequency band in addition to the first frequency band, thereby reducing interference to the wireless access network device.
[0046] In one possible design, a third measurement result is sent, and the third measurement result includes a measurement result corresponding to at least one frequency point; and seventh indication information is received, and the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on a fourth frequency band, or the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection, and one or more of the at least one frequency point are located within the fourth frequency band.
[0047] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: obtaining a second trigger condition, which is determined based on the first domain; when the second trigger condition is met, sending a fourth measurement result, which is a measurement result after the terminal device leaves the first domain.
[0048] Based on this possible design, the terminal device reports the fourth measurement result based on the triggering of the second trigger condition. Since the fourth measurement result is a measurement result after the terminal device leaves the first domain, that is, the radio access network device can process the situation after the terminal device leaves the first domain based on the fourth measurement result. For example, the terminal device can be instructed to establish an RRC connection.
[0049] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: receiving eighth indication information, the eighth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the fifth frequency band, or the eighth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to establish an RRC connection, and the fourth measurement result includes the measurement result corresponding to the frequency point within the fifth frequency band.
[0050] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: sending ninth indication information, the ninth indication information is used to indicate the first domain, and the ninth indication information is used to determine the first trigger condition.
[0051] Based on this possible design, the terminal device informs the wireless access network device of the first domain, so that the wireless access network device can obtain the first domain, and then determine the first trigger condition and / or the second trigger condition according to the first domain.
[0052] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: sending tenth indication information, the tenth indication information is used to indicate at least one first frequency band, and the tenth indication information is used to determine a first trigger condition.
[0053] In a fourth aspect, a communication method is provided. The method can be executed by a radio access network device, or by a component of the radio access network device, such as a processor, chip, or chip system of the radio access network device, or by a logic module or software capable of implementing all or part of the functions of the radio access network device. The method includes: receiving a third measurement result, the third measurement result being a measurement result of a terminal device before entering a first domain, the third measurement result including a measurement result corresponding to at least one frequency point, prohibiting data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain, and the serving radio access network device of the terminal device being the radio access network device; and sending seventh indication information, the seventh indication information being used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on a fourth frequency band, or the seventh indication information being used to instruct the terminal device to establish an RRC connection, one or more of the at least one frequency point being within the fourth frequency band, and at least one first frequency band being different from the fourth frequency band.
[0054] Based on this solution, the wireless access network device can determine whether the terminal device performs data transmission on the fourth frequency band or releases the RRC connection based on the third measurement result. Since the third measurement result is the measurement result of the terminal device before entering the first domain, the wireless access network device can send seventh indication information after receiving the third measurement result, so that within the first domain, the terminal device can perform data transmission on the fourth frequency band or release the RRC connection according to the instruction of the seventh indication information. Among them, since data transmission is not performed in the first domain, interference with wireless access network devices near the terminal device can be reduced in the first domain. In addition, since at least one first frequency band is a frequency band in which data transmission is prohibited in the first domain, based on this, the frequency band in the first domain that causes interference to the wireless access network device can be configured as the first frequency band. Therefore, within the first domain, the terminal device can choose to perform data transmission on a second frequency band other than the first frequency band, thereby reducing interference with the wireless access network device.
[0055] In one possible design, before receiving the third measurement result, the communication method also includes: obtaining a first domain, the first domain is used to determine a first trigger condition; sending a first trigger condition, the first trigger condition is used to trigger the terminal device to report the third measurement result.
[0056] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: receiving a fourth measurement result, which is a measurement result after the terminal device leaves the first domain; sending an eighth indication information, which is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the fifth frequency band, or the eighth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to establish an RRC connection, and the fourth measurement result includes the measurement result corresponding to the frequency point within the fifth frequency band.
[0057] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: sending a second trigger condition, where the second trigger condition is determined based on the first domain, and the second trigger condition is used to trigger the terminal device to report a fourth measurement result.
[0058] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: receiving ninth indication information, the ninth indication information is used to indicate the first domain, and the ninth indication information is used to determine the first trigger condition.
[0059] In one possible design, the communication method also includes: receiving tenth indication information, the tenth indication information is used to indicate at least one first frequency band, and the tenth indication information is used to determine a first trigger condition.
[0060] Among them, the technical effects brought about by any possible design of the fourth aspect can refer to the technical effects brought about by the corresponding design in the above-mentioned third aspect, and will not be repeated here.
[0061] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in one possible design, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the fourth frequency band, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to switch to the fourth frequency band.
[0062] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in one possible design, the first trigger condition includes: the distance between the terminal device and the first location is less than or equal to a first threshold, and the first location is determined based on the first domain.
[0063] In combination with the third and fourth aspects, in one possible design, the first trigger condition includes: the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold, and the first position is determined based on the first domain; or, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold.
[0064] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in one possible design, the first position is the position of a reference point that is closest to the terminal device among multiple reference points on the boundary of the first domain; or, the first position is located on a line connecting any two reference points on the boundary of the first domain; or, the first position is located within the first domain.
[0065] In combination with the third and fourth aspects, in one possible design, the distance between the terminal device and the first position is less than or equal to the first threshold, including: within the first time length, the distance between the terminal device and the first position is less than or equal to the first threshold; the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold, including: within the first time length, the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold; the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold, including: within the first time length, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold.
[0066] Based on this optional solution, the terminal device determines that the first trigger threshold is met when the distance between the terminal device and the first location (or the sum / difference between the distance between the terminal device and the first location and the first offset value) is less than or equal to the first threshold within the first time period. This ensures that the terminal device is always near the first domain. This eliminates the influence of the ping-pong effect and prevents the terminal device from erroneously triggering the first trigger condition.
[0067] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in a possible design, the first trigger condition also includes: the terminal device transmits data on one or more first frequency bands in at least one first frequency band.
[0068] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in one possible design, the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more first frequency bands in at least one first frequency band, including: before the terminal device enters the first domain, the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more first frequency bands in at least one first frequency band.
[0069] Based on this possible design, since data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band within the first domain, before the terminal device enters the first domain, and when the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more first frequency bands of at least one first frequency band, the terminal device needs to determine whether to report the third measurement result based on the relationship between the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first threshold. This enables data transmission on at least one first frequency band that is not within the first domain. When the terminal device does not perform data transmission on any first frequency band of at least one first frequency band, the terminal device does not need to change the frequency band or migrate the RRC state to achieve data transmission on at least one first frequency band that is not within the first domain. At this time, the terminal device does not need to trigger a report.
[0070] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in a possible design, the first trigger condition also includes: the distance change of the terminal device in unit time is greater than or equal to a third threshold.
[0071] Based on this possible design, the terminal device can determine whether the terminal device is gradually approaching the center of the first domain according to the relationship between the distance change of the terminal device and the third threshold within unit time, thereby ensuring that after the first trigger condition is met and the third measurement result is reported, the terminal device can enter the first domain, so that the terminal device performs data transmission on the fourth frequency band according to the instructions of the seventh indication information, or the scheme of releasing the RRC connection can be implemented within the first domain, that is, data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band within the first domain, that is, the terminal device implements the NTZ mechanism.
[0072] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in a possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the fourth frequency band, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fourth frequency band, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct data transmission on the secondary cell.
[0073] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in one possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the fourth frequency band, the seventh indication information is used to indicate that data transmission is to be performed on the secondary cell, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the secondary cell, or the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to change the secondary cell to the main cell.
[0074] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in one possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the fourth frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fourth frequency band, including: the seventh indication information indicates that data is transmitted on the main cell.
[0075] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in one possible design, when the frequency of the main cell of the terminal device is in the fourth frequency band and the frequency of the secondary cell of the terminal device is in the first frequency band, the seventh indication information indicates that data is transmitted on the main cell, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the main cell, or the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to delete or deactivate the secondary cell.
[0076] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in one possible design, the second trigger condition includes: the distance between the terminal device and the second location is greater than or equal to a fourth threshold, and the second location is determined based on the first domain.
[0077] In combination with the third and fourth aspects, in one possible design, the second trigger condition includes: the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to a fourth threshold, and the second position is determined based on the first domain; or, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold.
[0078] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in one possible design, the second position is the position of a reference point that is closest to the terminal device among multiple reference points on the boundary of the first domain; or, the second position is located on a line connecting any two reference points on the boundary of the first domain; or, the second position is located within the first domain.
[0079] In combination with the third and fourth aspects, in one possible design, the distance between the terminal device and the second position is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold, including: within the second time length, the distance between the terminal device and the second position is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold; the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold, including: within the second time length, the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold; the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold, including: within the second time length, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold.
[0080] Based on this possible design, the terminal device determines that the second trigger threshold is met when the distance between the terminal device and the second location is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold within the second time period. This ensures that the terminal device has left the first domain. This eliminates the influence of the ping-pong effect and prevents the terminal device from erroneously triggering the second trigger condition.
[0081] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in a possible design, the second trigger condition also includes: the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more frequency bands other than at least one first frequency band, and the fourth measurement result includes the measurement results corresponding to the frequency points on the one or more frequency bands.
[0082] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in one possible design, the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more frequency bands other than at least one first frequency band, including: after the terminal device leaves the first domain, the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more frequency bands other than at least one first frequency band.
[0083] Based on this possible design, since data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band within the first domain, the terminal device does not perform data transmission on the first frequency band within the first domain (such as performing data transmission on the fourth frequency band according to the instruction of the seventh indication information). Therefore, after leaving the first domain, the terminal device still performs data transmission on the fourth frequency band. At this time, the terminal device can determine whether to report the fourth measurement result based on the relationship between the distance between the terminal device and the second location and the fourth threshold. This further determines whether it is necessary to switch the frequency band.
[0084] In combination with the third aspect and the fourth aspect, in a possible design, the second trigger condition also includes: the distance change of the terminal device in unit time is greater than or equal to the fifth threshold.
[0085] In a fifth aspect, a communication method is provided, which can be executed by a terminal device, or by a component of the terminal device, such as a processor, chip, or chip system of the terminal device, or by a logic module or software that can implement all or part of the terminal device functions. The terminal device is in a radio resource control (RRC) deactivated state or an RRC idle state, and the method includes: receiving first indication information, receiving first indication information, the first indication information indicating a first domain, prohibiting data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain; receiving a system message, the system message indicating a unified access control parameter; when the unified access control parameter indicates that service access corresponding to the first access identifier (AI) and / or the first access type (AC) is allowed, and the terminal device is located in the first domain, determining that the access attempt is prohibited, the first AI is the service identifier of the terminal device, and the first AC is the service type of the terminal device; when the unified access control parameter indicates that service access corresponding to the first AI and / or the first AC is allowed, and the terminal device is located outside the first domain, determining that the access attempt is allowed.
[0086] Based on this solution, when the terminal device is in the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state, if the terminal device has the need to send data, it is first necessary to perform an access prohibition check. On the basis of the access prohibition check, a judgment is added on the location of the terminal device, that is, whether the terminal device is located in the first domain. If the terminal device is located in the first domain, it is considered that the terminal device access attempt is prohibited, so that the terminal device cannot request RRC establishment, so that the terminal device in the first domain can maintain the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state.
[0087] In one possible design, when the unified access control parameters indicate that service access corresponding to the first AI and / or the first AC is allowed and the terminal device is located in the first domain, it is determined that the access attempt is prohibited, including: performing an access prohibition check based on the first AI and / or the first AC and the unified access control parameters to obtain a first result, wherein, when the unified access control parameters indicate that access of the terminal device corresponding to the AI and / or AC is allowed, the first result is that the access attempt is allowed; when the unified access control parameters indicate that access of the terminal device corresponding to the AI and / or AC is prohibited, the first result is that the access attempt is prohibited; when the terminal device is located in the first domain and the first result is that the access attempt is allowed, the first result is changed to that the access attempt is prohibited.
[0088] In one possible design, when the unified access control parameters indicate that the terminal device corresponding to the AI and / or AC is allowed to access and the terminal device is located in the first domain, it is determined that the access attempt is prohibited, including: when the terminal device is located in the first domain, according to the first AI and / or first AC and the unified access control parameters, performing an access prohibition check to obtain a second result, and the second result is that the access attempt is prohibited.

The implementation methods of this application described below do not constitute a limitation on the scope of protection of this application.
[0138] In order to facilitate understanding of the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, a brief introduction to the relevant technologies of the present application is first given as follows.
[0139] 1. Cell handover:
[0140] For example, in a fifth generation (5G) or new radio (NR) system, the cell handover process may include steps S101-S109 as shown in FIG1 :
[0141] Step S101: The source base station of the terminal device (also referred to as the serving base station before handover) may send a measurement configuration to the terminal device. Accordingly, the terminal device receives the measurement configuration from the source base station.
[0142] Optionally, the measurement configuration may include a measurement object (such as a serving cell or a neighboring cell), a triggering event for measurement reporting, and the like.
[0143] Exemplarily, the triggering event may include event A1, event A2, event A3, event A4, event A5, etc. Among them, event A1 is that the signal quality of the serving cell is greater than a first preset threshold; event A2 is that the signal quality of the serving cell is less than a second preset threshold; event A3 is that the signal quality of the neighboring cell is greater than the signal quality of the serving cell; event A4 is that the signal quality of the neighboring cell is greater than a third preset threshold; event A5 is that the signal quality of the serving cell is less than the second preset threshold, and the signal quality of the neighboring cell is greater than the third preset threshold.
[0144] Step S102: The terminal device measures the measurement object according to the received measurement configuration.
[0145] Optionally, if the measurement result of a measurement object measured by the terminal device within a certain time period meets the triggering event of measurement reporting, the terminal device will be triggered to report the measurement result.
[0146] Optionally, when the measurement result of a cell meets the triggering event of measurement reporting within a certain time period, the identifier of the cell may be added to a triggered cell list (cells triggered list).
[0147] Exemplarily, the certain time period is configured by the source base station and may also be referred to as time to trigger (TTT).
[0148] The measurement result is obtained by measuring at layer 1 (eg, the physical (PHY) layer) and filtering at layer 3 (eg, the radio resource control (RRC) layer).
[0149] Step S103: The terminal device sends the measurement result to the source base station. Correspondingly, the source base station receives the measurement result from the terminal device.
[0150] Step S104: After receiving the measurement result, the source base station determines the target cell based on the measurement report.
[0151] For example, the source base station evaluates the measurement results in the measurement results, and then determines the target cell.
[0152] Step S105: The source base station sends a handover request to the target base station to which the target cell belongs. Correspondingly, the target base station receives the handover request from the source base station.
[0153] Exemplarily, the handover request includes information required for handover, such as an identity (ID) of a target cell.
[0154] Step S106: The target base station performs admission control.
[0155] Optionally, admission control can be understood as determining whether the terminal device is supported to access the target base station.
[0156] In the case that the terminal device is supported to access the target base station, S107 is executed:
[0157] S107: The target base station sends a handover confirmation message to the source base station. Correspondingly, the source base station receives the handover confirmation message from the target base station.
[0158] Exemplarily, the handover confirmation information includes RRC reconfiguration information related to the target cell (such as the ID of the target cell, etc.).
[0159] Step S108: The source base station forwards the handover confirmation information to the terminal device. Correspondingly, the terminal device receives the handover confirmation information from the source base station.
[0160] Step S109: The terminal device performs switching according to the switching confirmation information.
[0161] Exemplarily, the terminal device may perform RRC reconfiguration based on the RRC reconfiguration information. After the RRC reconfiguration is completed, the terminal device sends a message indicating that the RRC reconfiguration is successful to the target base station. Accordingly, the target base station receives the message indicating that the RRC reconfiguration is successful from the terminal device. At this point, the handover of the terminal device to the radio access network (RAN) side can be considered successful.
[0162] Optionally, the handover in this application generally refers to the handover between the control of a radio access network device (such as a base station, etc.) and the control of a terminal device in an RRC connection state, a cell change, etc. Exemplarily, the handover in this application generally refers to the handover between the control of a base station and the control of a terminal device in an RRC connection state, a cell change, etc.
[0163] 2. RRC status:
[0164] In long-term evolution (LTE), RRC states are defined as RRC-idle and RRC-connected. In the RRC-idle state, uplink and / or downlink data cannot be transmitted, and the context of the terminal device is released; the RRC-idle state can be understood as a dormant state. In the RRC-connected state, uplink and / or downlink data can be transmitted, and the context of the terminal device is established; the RRC-connected state can be understood as an activated state.
[0165] However, during the operation of the application of the terminal device, data needs to be transmitted frequently, so it is necessary to frequently switch between the RRC idle state and the RRC connected state. These conversions come at the cost of signaling and latency, that is, frequent conversion between the RRC idle state and the RRC connected state increases the signaling overhead and the data transmission latency, which greatly reduces the system performance. Therefore, in order to reduce the signaling load and latency, the RRC deactivation state (RRC-inactive) is defined in NR. The RRC deactivation state has some characteristics of the RRC idle state and the RRC connected state. For example, uplink data and / or downlink data cannot be transmitted in the RRC deactivation state. However, the terminal device in the RRC deactivation state needs to store the context information of the access stratum (AS). Compared with the conversion between the RRC idle state and the RRC connected state, the conversion between the RRC deactivation state and the RRC connected state has less signaling overhead and less latency.
[0166] Exemplarily, as shown in FIG2 , the RRC connected state and the RRC deactivated state can be converted to each other, and the RRC connected state and the RRC idle state can be converted to each other. In other words, the RRC connected state can be converted to the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state. Exemplarily, in the RRC connected state, the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state can be converted by releasing the RRC connection. Alternatively, in the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state, the RRC connected state can be converted by establishing an RRC connection. In addition, the RRC deactivated state can also be converted to the RRC idle state. Exemplarily, in the RRC deactivated state, the RRC idle state can be converted by releasing the AS context information.
[0167] 3. Carrier aggregation (CA):
[0168] In wireless communication systems, the peak uplink or downlink rate of a terminal device is closely related to the available communication bandwidth. The larger the communication bandwidth available to the terminal device, the higher the peak uplink or downlink rate. In 5G NR systems, the maximum cell bandwidth in low-frequency bands can reach 100 megahertz (MHz), while the maximum cell bandwidth in high-frequency bands is 400 MHz.
[0169] However, the peak rate achievable by a single cell may not reach the peak rate achieved in enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) scenarios. Therefore, to improve the peak rate of terminal devices and meet the requirements of eMBB scenarios, one solution is to aggregate the communication bandwidth of multiple cells and provide it to the terminal device. This is also the concept of Carrier Aggregation (CA). These multiple cells can include a primary cell (PCELL) and a secondary cell (SCELL). The primary cell is the cell that the terminal device initially accesses and is responsible for RRC communication with the terminal device. The secondary cell is a cell added to the terminal device during RRC reconfiguration and provides additional radio resources for the terminal device. In CA scenarios, carriers correspond to cells. For example, a terminal device accessing a carrier can be understood as accessing a cell. The communication bandwidth of a cell is the bandwidth of the carrier corresponding to that cell. The carriers of the aggregated cells in CA are called component carriers (CCs). After aggregating the carriers of multiple cells, the communication bandwidth available to the terminal device can be equal to the sum of the bandwidths of the multiple carriers, thereby improving the peak rate.
[0170] 4. Access barring (assess barring) check:
[0171] In the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state, if the terminal device has a business need, it is first necessary to perform an access prohibition check, that is, to make an access attempt. If the access attempt is allowed, the terminal device can send an access request to the wireless access network device to request to establish an RRC connection with the wireless access network device; further, after the RRC connection is established, the terminal device can send uplink data to the wireless access network device to realize data transmission between the terminal device and the wireless access device. Among them, the access prohibition check refers to determining whether the terminal device is allowed to access (that is, whether the access attempt is allowed) based on the terminal device's access identity (AI) and / or access category (AC), and unified access control (UAC) parameters.
[0172] AI is the identifier of the terminal device. For example, AI may include the following content as shown in Table 1:
[0173] Table 1
[0174] Exemplarily, Table 1 above shows the correspondence between the AI value of the terminal device and the configuration of the terminal device corresponding to the AI value; for example, the AI value of the terminal device is 1, indicating that the configuration of the terminal device includes MPS, that is, the terminal device has MPS; the AI value of the terminal device is 2, indicating that the configuration of the terminal device includes MCS, that is, the terminal device has MCS.
[0175] AC is the service category that the terminal device is accessing this time. For example, AC may include the content shown in Table 2 below:
[0176] Table 2
[0177] Exemplarily, the above Table 2 shows the correspondence between the AC value of the terminal device and the service category indicated by the value; for example, the AC value of the terminal device is 1, indicating that the service accessed by the terminal device this time is a delay-tolerant service type service; the AC value of the terminal device is 2, indicating that the service accessed by the terminal device this time is an emergency service type service.
[0178] The UAC parameter is used to indicate whether the access attempt of the terminal device corresponding to the AI is allowed. The UAC parameter is carried in the system information block (SIB) 1. The UAC parameter includes the uac-BarringForAccessIndentity field, which is represented by a bit map. Each bit in the uac-BarringForAccessIndentity field corresponds to a value of the AI. Exemplarily, the value of the AI can be any one of 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
[0179] As an example, for the case where the AI value of the terminal device is any one of 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15; the bit corresponding to a certain AI is 0, indicating that when the AI value is 0, the access attempt of the corresponding terminal device is allowed; the bit corresponding to the AI is 1, indicating that when the AI value is 1, the access attempt of the corresponding terminal device is prohibited.
[0180] Alternatively, for a terminal device whose AI value is 1, if the RRC connection is established with at least one of the results of MPS priority indication, redirection, and release, and the value of the bit corresponding to the AI is 0, it means that when the AI value is 1, the access attempt of the corresponding terminal device is allowed.
[0181] For a terminal device with an AI value of 3, the terminal device determines the uac-BarringFactorForAI3 field based on its own AC, where the uac-BarringFactorForAI3 field is the field corresponding to the AC in the UAC parameters. The AS generates a random number (rand) greater than or equal to 0 and less than 1. If the value of this random number is less than the value of the uac-BarringFactorForAI3 field, the access attempt of the corresponding terminal device is allowed when the AI value is 3. If the value of this random number is greater than or equal to the value of the uac-BarringFactorForAI3 field, the access attempt of the corresponding terminal device is prohibited when the AI value is 3.
[0182] In this example, for situations where the above conditions are not met, the access attempt of the terminal device is considered to be prohibited.
[0183] As another example, for a terminal device whose AI value is any natural number between 1 and 15, the terminal device determines the uac-BarringFactor field based on its own AC, and the AS generates a random number (rand) greater than or equal to 0 and less than 1. If the value of the random number is less than the value of the uac-BarringFactor field in the UAC parameter, it indicates that the access attempt of the terminal device corresponding to the AI is allowed; if the value of the random number is greater than or equal to the value of the uac-BarringFactor field, it indicates that the access attempt of the terminal device corresponding to the AI is prohibited.
[0184] 5. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communication technology:
[0185] As a new type of aircraft, UAVs are gaining popularity due to their flexibility and convenience. Cellular networks can support UAVs with wide coverage, high reliability, high security, and continuous mobility.
[0186] The 3GPP standard introduces a UAV system logic framework for providing communication services for UAVs. For example, the system logic framework includes the content shown in Figure 3. As shown in Figure 3, UAVs can access the core network (e.g., 5GC) through wireless access network equipment; uncrewed aerial system service providers (USS) (or unified threat management (UTM) network elements) can access 5GC through network exposure function (NEF) entities or uncrewed aerial system network function (UAS-NF) network elements deployed in NEF entities; therefore, in the process of serving UAVs, USSs can obtain the services required by UAVs through 5GC, thereby supporting UAV-related services. Among them, the services that USSs can obtain through 5GC include but are not limited to: positioning, authentication, and online status monitoring. For example, in the process of USS communicating with UAVs, intermediate network elements involved in the communication between USS and UAVs (such as wireless access network equipment, 5GC, UAS-NF network elements, etc.) can all send information from USS / UAVs through transparent transmission.
[0187] Optionally, the access and mobility management function (AMF) network element or the user plane function (UPF) network element in the core network can obtain the services required by the UAV through the wireless access network equipment, thereby indicating the relevant services of the UAV. Among them, the AMF network element is mainly responsible for mobility management in the mobile network, such as user location update, user registration network, user switching, etc.; the UPF network element is mainly responsible for processing user messages, such as forwarding and billing. Exemplarily, the wireless access network equipment can send information from the core network (such as the AMF network element, UPF network element) / UAV in a transparent transmission manner.
[0188] The communication environment of UAVs differs significantly from that of traditional terminal devices (such as mobile phones). UAVs are generally located above wireless access network devices and primarily communicate via line of sight (LOS). Therefore, as shown in Figure 4, UAVs can receive signals from more wireless access network devices than traditional terminal devices. For example, the terminal device in Figure 4 can receive signals from wireless access network device #1, wireless access network device #2, and wireless access network device #3. The UAV and wireless access network devices are connected via the Uu interface. Wireless access network devices are interconnected via the Xn interface, which supports the exchange of signaling information between two wireless access network devices.
[0189] Because UAVs typically operate at high altitudes and communicate with wireless access network equipment (such as base stations) via a high-speed (LOS) path, wireless access network equipment can still receive signals from them even if they are far away. This means that in addition to receiving signals from traditional terminal devices, wireless access network equipment can also receive signals from distant UAVs, seriously affecting the normal communication of wireless access network equipment and causing severe interference to the equipment.
[0190] To address this issue, EU regulations require that UAVs adhere to no-transmit zones (NTZs) within mobile or fixed communication networks (MFCNs). Within these NTZs, UAVs are prohibited from performing uplink and / or downlink transmissions on specific frequency bands. For example, these frequency bands could potentially interfere with radio access network equipment. Alternatively, UAVs are prohibited from performing uplink and / or downlink transmissions within these NTZs. This reduces interference with nearby radio access network equipment.
[0191] However, the current UAV technology does not involve the NTZ mechanism, that is, the NTZ mechanism cannot be implemented based on the current UAV technology. Therefore, how to implement the NTZ mechanism in UAV technology is a problem that needs to be solved urgently.
[0192] Based on this, an embodiment of the present application provides a communication method, in which, within a first domain, a terminal device can choose to transmit data on a second frequency band other than the first frequency band, or not to transmit data (i.e., maintain an RRC deactivated state or an RRC idle state). Since no data transmission is performed within the first domain, interference to wireless access network devices near the terminal device can be reduced within the first domain. In addition, since at least one first frequency band is a frequency band in which data transmission is prohibited within the first domain. Based on this, the frequency band that causes interference to the wireless access network device within the first domain can be configured as the first frequency band. Therefore, within the first domain, the terminal device can choose to transmit data on a second frequency band other than the first frequency band, thereby reducing interference to the wireless access network device.
[0193] The technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application can be used in various communication systems, which may be 3GPP communication systems, for example, 5G systems such as LTE systems and NR systems, satellite communication systems, non-terrestrial networks (NTN) systems, or LTE and 5G hybrid networking systems, or device-to-device (D2D) communication systems, machine-to-machine (M2M) communication systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and future evolving communication systems. [0216] It should be noted that the composition structure shown in Figure 6 does not constitute a limitation on the communication device. In addition to the components shown in Figure 6, the communication device may include more or fewer components than shown in the figure, or combine certain components, or arrange the components differently.
[0217] The communication method provided by the embodiments of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. It will be appreciated that in the embodiments of the present application, the wireless access network device may perform some or all of the steps in the embodiments of the present application. These steps or operations are merely examples, and the embodiments of the present application may also perform other operations or variations of various operations. Furthermore, the steps may be performed in a different order than those presented in the embodiments of the present application, and it is possible that not all operations in the embodiments of the present application need to be performed.
[0218] Referring to FIG. 7 , a communication method provided in an embodiment of the present application includes the following steps:
[0219] S701: A terminal device obtains a first domain, wherein data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band within the first domain, or data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band within the first domain.
[0220] Exemplarily, prohibiting data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain can also be understood as prohibiting uplink data transmission and / or downlink data transmission on at least one frequency band within the first domain. Correspondingly, prohibiting data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain can also be understood as prohibiting uplink data transmission and / or downlink data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain.
[0221] As an example, when at least one first frequency band is all the frequency bands that can carry out data transmission, data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band in the first domain. It can also be understood that: within the first domain, data transmission cannot be carried out on any frequency band, that is, data transmission is prohibited within the first domain.
[0222] As another example, when at least one first frequency band is part of the frequency bands capable of data transmission, data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band within the first domain. This can be understood as: within the first domain, only the first frequency band cannot be used for data transmission, that is, within the first domain, data transmission can be performed on frequency bands other than the first frequency band.
[0223] Optionally, the first domain refers to a geographical area. Exemplarily, the first domain can be represented by a latitude and longitude range and an altitude range. That is, the latitude and longitude range and the altitude range can constitute the first domain.
[0224] For example, the first domain may also be referred to as the first zone, NTZ, etc., which is not limited in this application. For example, the terminal device may include a UAV.
[0225] Exemplarily, the terminal device may obtain the first domain in the following three ways:
[0226] As a possible implementation manner, the terminal device obtains the first domain from the core network or a third-party device.
[0227] Optionally, in this possible implementation, the UPF network element or the AMF network element in the core network may send the first domain to the terminal device. Accordingly, the terminal device receives the first domain from the UPF network element or the AMF network element in the core network.
[0228] Optionally, in this possible implementation, the third-party device may include a USS network element / UTM network element. Therefore, the USS network element / UTM network element may send the first domain to the terminal device. Correspondingly, the terminal device receives the first domain from the USS network element / UTM network element.
[0229] Exemplarily, the implementation of the terminal device obtaining the first domain from the core network or a third-party device can refer to the relevant description of Figure 3 above, which will not be repeated here.
[0230] Optionally, in this possible implementation, the terminal device may further obtain frequency bands (such as at least one first frequency band) in which data transmission is prohibited in the first domain from the core network or a third-party device, or the terminal device may further obtain frequency bands (such as one or more frequency bands other than the first frequency band) in which data transmission is allowed in the first domain from the core network or a third-party device. For the sake of convenience of description, the frequency bands in which data transmission is prohibited in the first domain and / or the frequency bands in which data transmission is allowed in the first domain are collectively referred to as frequency band information.
[0231] Exemplarily, the terminal device can also obtain the frequency band in which data transmission is prohibited in the first domain, or the implementation of the frequency band in which data transmission is allowed in the first domain from the core network or a third-party device. This is similar to the above-mentioned terminal device obtaining the implementation of the first domain from the core network or a third-party device, and will not be repeated here.
[0232] As another possible implementation manner, the terminal device obtains the first domain from the wireless access network device.
[0233] Optionally, in this possible implementation, the wireless access network device may obtain the first domain from the core network or a third-party device in advance, and then send the first domain to the terminal device.
[0234] Exemplarily, the implementation of the wireless access network device obtaining the first domain from the core network or the third-party device can refer to the relevant description of FIG3 above, which will not be repeated here.
[0235] Exemplarily, the wireless access network device sends first indication information to the terminal device, and correspondingly, the terminal device receives the first indication information from the wireless access network device, wherein the first indication information indicates or includes the first domain.
[0236] Exemplarily, the wireless access network device is a serving wireless access network device of the terminal device.
[0237] Optionally, in this possible implementation, the terminal device may also obtain frequency band information from the radio access network device. Exemplarily, the first indication information may also indicate frequency band information.
[0238] Optionally, in the above two possible implementation schemes, the terminal device obtains the first domain before entering the first domain. Further, the terminal device obtains frequency band information before entering the first domain.
[0239] Exemplarily, before the terminal device enters the first domain can also be understood as: when the terminal device is about to enter the first domain.
[0240] As another possible implementation, the first domain is preconfigured for the terminal device. For example, the first domain may be predefined by a protocol. Furthermore, the frequency band information may also be preconfigured. For example, the frequency band information may also be predefined by a protocol.
[0241] S702: Within the first domain, the terminal device performs data transmission on the second frequency band, or maintains an RRC deactivated state or an RRC idle state. At least one of the first frequency bands is different from the second frequency band. In other words, at least one of the first frequency bands does not include the second frequency band.
[0242] For example, since the terminal device cannot transmit data in the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state, within the first domain, the terminal device maintaining the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state can be understood as: the terminal device does not transmit data within the first domain.
[0243] In the communication method provided by the embodiment of the present application, within the first domain, the terminal device can choose to transmit data on a second frequency band other than the first frequency band, or not to transmit data (i.e., maintain the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state). Since no data transmission is performed within the first domain, the interference to the wireless access network device near the terminal device can be reduced within the first domain.
[0244] The above is an overall description of the communication method of an embodiment of the present application. The following is a detailed introduction to "performing data transmission on the second frequency band, or maintaining the RRC deactivated state or RRC idle state" involved in the above embodiment.
[0245] Optionally, when at least one first frequency band is a partial frequency band among the frequency bands capable of data transmission, that is, within the first domain, only the first frequency band cannot perform data transmission, before entering the first domain, the terminal device can determine whether it is necessary to change the current state of the terminal device based on the frequency band information it obtains.
[0246] For example, the frequency band information includes frequency bands prohibited from data transmission within the first domain. In this case, the frequency band information includes at least one first frequency band. The terminal device can determine whether the frequency band currently performing data transmission is the first frequency band. If so, the terminal device needs to change its current state. If not, the terminal device does not need to change its current state.
[0247] Alternatively, the frequency band information includes frequency bands permitted for data transmission within the first domain. In this case, the frequency band information includes one or more frequency bands other than the first frequency band. The terminal device may determine that the frequency band currently performing data transmission is included in the frequency band information. If so, the terminal device does not need to change its current state. If not, the terminal device needs to change its current state.
[0248] Optionally, the frequency band for data transmission at the current moment does not belong to any first frequency band of at least one first frequency band, that is, the terminal device does not need to change its current state, and the frequency band for data transmission at the current moment can be considered to be the second frequency band. Therefore, after entering the first domain, the terminal device can transmit data on the second frequency band.
[0249] The following describes in detail the situation where the frequency band for data transmission at the current moment belongs to one or more first frequency bands in at least one first frequency band, that is, the terminal device needs to change its current state. That is, before entering the first domain, the terminal device performs data transmission in one or more first frequency bands in at least one first frequency band. Scenario 1: The terminal device communicates with a cell of a radio access network device. The radio access network device is the serving radio access network device of the terminal device. Scenario 1 can also be considered a single CC scenario.
[0250] Optionally, in the following scenario, before the terminal device enters the first domain, the terminal device performs data transmission on one of the at least one first frequency bands. That is, before the terminal device enters the first domain, the wireless access network device performs data transmission with the terminal device on the one first frequency band.
[0251] As an example, before entering the first domain, the terminal device can determine whether a second frequency band exists based on the frequency band information, thereby enabling data transmission on the second frequency band within the first domain, or maintaining the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state.
[0252] Exemplarily, when at least one first frequency band included in the frequency band information is a partial frequency band among frequency bands capable of data transmission, it indicates that a second frequency band exists, and the terminal device can determine the second frequency band from one or more frequency bands other than the first frequency band; alternatively, when at least one first frequency band included in the frequency band information is all frequency bands among frequency bands capable of data transmission, it indicates that the second frequency band does not exist. Alternatively, when the frequency band information includes one or more frequency bands other than the first frequency band, it indicates that a second frequency band exists, and the terminal device can determine the second frequency band from one or more frequency bands other than the first frequency band.
[0253] Optionally, in the absence of the second frequency band, the terminal device may send a request message to the radio access network device to release the RRC connection. Based on the request message, the radio access network device sends configuration information for releasing the RRC connection to the terminal device, so that the terminal device can release the RRC connection and further maintain the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state within the first domain.
[0254] Alternatively, in the absence of the second frequency band, the terminal device can release the RRC connection, thereby maintaining the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state within the first domain.
[0255] Optionally, if the second frequency band exists, the terminal device may send a request message to the radio access network device to switch to the second frequency band. Based on the request message, the radio access network device then sends configuration information for switching to the second frequency band to the terminal device, enabling the terminal device to switch to the second frequency band and further enabling data transmission on the second frequency band within the first domain.
[0256] Alternatively, if the second frequency band exists, the terminal device switches to the second frequency band, thereby enabling data transmission on the second frequency band within the first domain. Optionally, after switching to the second frequency band, the terminal device may send a confirmation message to the wireless access network device to inform the wireless access network device that the terminal device has completed the switching.
[0257] As another example, the terminal device can implement data transmission on the second frequency band within the first domain, or maintain the RRC deactivated state or RRC idle state based on the instruction of the wireless access network device.
[0258] Exemplarily, before the terminal device enters the first domain, as shown in FIG8 , the communication method further includes the following step S703:
[0259] S703. The radio access network device sends second instruction information to the terminal device. In response, the terminal device receives the second instruction information from the radio access network device. The second instruction information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the second frequency band, or the second instruction information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection. The radio access network device is the serving radio access network device of the terminal device.
[0260] Case 1: At least one first frequency band is part of a frequency band capable of data transmission, that is, within the first domain, only the first frequency band is not capable of data transmission. In this case, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the second frequency band, or the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0261] Exemplarily, when the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection, the second indication information includes configuration information for releasing the RRC connection; when the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on a second frequency band, the second indication information includes configuration information for switching to the second frequency band.
[0262] Exemplarily, the second indication information may be implemented based on the following two possible implementations:
[0263] In a possible implementation, the second indication information is determined based on the first request message, wherein the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, or the first request message is used to request release of the RRC connection.
[0264] Exemplarily, when the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, the second indication information instructs the terminal device to perform data transmission on the second frequency band; when the first request message is used to request the release of the RRC connection, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0265] Exemplarily, as shown in FIG9 , before step S703 , the communication method may further include the following steps S704 - S705 :
[0266] S704: The terminal device determines a first measurement result, wherein the first measurement result includes a measurement result corresponding to at least one frequency point, and the first measurement result is a measurement result before the terminal device enters the first domain.
[0267] As an example, the terminal device may perform real-time measurement and obtain real-time measurement results, thereby determining the measurement result before the terminal device enters the first domain as the first measurement result.
[0268] For example, at time #1, the terminal device is outside the first domain, and after time #1, the terminal device is within the first domain. The measurement result at time #1 can be determined as the first measurement result. Alternatively, at time #1, the distance between the terminal device and the first domain is less than or equal to a preset distance threshold, and before time #1, the terminal device is getting closer to the first domain. At this time, it can be considered that the terminal device is about to enter the first domain, and the measurement result at time #1 can be determined as the first measurement result.
[0269] As another example, before the terminal device enters the first domain, the terminal device may perform measurement according to the measurement configuration from the radio access network device to determine the first measurement result.
[0270] Exemplarily, before the terminal device enters the first domain, the terminal device may send indication information to the radio access network device indicating the location of the terminal device when entering the first domain, or the terminal device may send indication information to the radio access network device indicating that the terminal device is about to enter the first domain. The radio access network device then sends a measurement configuration to the terminal device based on the indication information, so that the terminal device determines the first measurement result.
[0271] S705: The terminal device sends a first request message to the wireless access network device. Correspondingly, the wireless access device receives the first request message from the terminal device.
[0272] Optionally, the first request message is determined according to the first measurement result.
[0273] Exemplarily, the terminal device may determine whether the at least one frequency point includes a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band. Exemplarily, the frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band may be understood as a frequency point in a frequency band other than the first frequency band. If the at least one frequency point includes a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band, the frequency band in which one or more of the frequency points that do not belong to the first frequency band are located is determined as the second frequency band. If the at least one frequency point does not include a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band, it can be considered that each of the at least one frequency point is located within one or more first frequency bands in the at least one first frequency band.
[0274] As an example, when one or more frequency points of the at least one frequency point are located in the second frequency band, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band.
[0275] Optionally, in this example, the first request message may be carried in an RRC reconfiguration message. In this case, the first request message may include the second frequency band.
[0276] Optionally, in this example, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the first request message is used to request switching to the second frequency band, and accordingly, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to switch to the second frequency band, thereby realizing data transmission on the second frequency band.
[0277] As another example, when each of the at least one frequency point is located within at least one first frequency band, the first request message is used to request the release of the RRC connection. In this example, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0278] Optionally, in this example, the first request message is used to request the release of the RRC connection, including: the first request message is used to request migration to the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state. Correspondingly, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to migrate to the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state. Thus, the terminal device can migrate from the RRC connection state to the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state according to the second indication information, thereby releasing the RRC connection.
[0279] Optionally, in this example, the first request message may be located in the RRCReleaseRequest field in the RRC message, where the RRCReleaseRequest field indicates the release of the RRC connection. In this case, the first request message may be represented by 1 bit. For example, the 1 bit may be 1, or the 1 bit may be 0.
[0280] Based on this possible implementation method, the terminal device perceives the first domain and actively requests the RRC connection to be released or to transmit data on the second frequency band (i.e., the terminal device sends a first request message). As a result, the wireless access network device does not need to perceive the first domain, but only needs to respond to the first request message (i.e., the wireless access network device sends a second indication information), thereby reducing the amount of computation of the wireless access network device.
[0281] In another possible implementation, the second indication information is determined based on the first measurement result. In this case, the second indication information is determined by the radio access network device according to the first measurement result.
[0282] Exemplarily, as shown in FIG10 , after step S704, the communication method may further include the following step S706:
[0283] S706: The terminal device sends the first measurement result to the wireless access network device. Accordingly, the wireless access network device receives the first measurement result from the terminal device. Optionally, the wireless access network device may determine the second indication information based on whether there is a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band in the at least one frequency point.
[0284] Illustratively, the wireless access network device may determine whether the at least one frequency point includes a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band. If the at least one frequency point includes a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band, the frequency band in which one or more of the frequency points that do not belong to the first frequency band are located is determined as the second frequency band. If the at least one frequency point does not include a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band, it can be considered that each of the at least one frequency point is located within one or more of the at least one first frequency band.
[0285] As an example, when one or more frequency points of at least one frequency point are located in the second frequency band, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the second frequency band.
[0286] Optionally, in this example, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the second frequency band, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to switch to the second frequency band, thereby realizing data transmission on the second frequency band.
[0287] As another example, when each of the at least one frequency point is located in a first frequency band of the at least one first frequency band, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0288] Optionally, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to migrate to the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state. Thus, the terminal device can migrate from the RRC connected state to the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state according to the second indication information, thereby releasing the RRC connection.
[0289] Optionally, in this possible implementation, the radio access network device may obtain frequency band information from the core network or a third-party device, or the frequency band information may be preconfigured. Alternatively, the radio access network device may obtain frequency band information from the terminal device. The second indication information is thereby determined based on the frequency band information and the first measurement result.
[0290] Exemplarily, the wireless access network device obtains the frequency band information from the core network or a third-party device, or the frequency band information is pre-configured, which is similar to the implementation of the terminal device obtaining the frequency band information in the above step S701. For details, please refer to the relevant instructions in the above step S701 and will not be repeated here.
[0291] Exemplarily, in the case where the wireless access network device obtains frequency band information from the terminal device, as shown in FIG10 , before step S703 , the communication method may further include step S707 :
[0292] S707: The terminal device sends third indication information to the radio access network device. Accordingly, the radio access network device receives the third indication information from the terminal device. The third indication information indicates at least one first frequency band. Since the second indication information is determined based on the first measurement result and the at least one first frequency band, it can be considered that the third indication information is used to determine the second indication information.
[0293] Exemplarily, the third indication information may include frequency band information. For example, the third indication information may include frequency bands prohibited from data transmission within the first domain, i.e., the third indication information includes at least one first frequency band. Alternatively, the third indication information may include frequency bands permitted for data transmission within the first domain, i.e., the third indication information includes one or more frequency bands other than the first frequency band. In this case, the radio access network device may determine the frequency bands permitted for data transmission other than the first frequency band as the first frequency band. In other words, the third indication information implicitly indicates at least one first frequency band.
[0294] Optionally, in this possible implementation, the wireless access network device may obtain the first domain from the core network or a third-party device, or the first domain is preconfigured. Alternatively, the wireless access network device may obtain the first domain from the terminal device. Exemplarily, the implementation in which the wireless access network device obtains the first domain from the core network or a third-party device, or the first domain is preconfigured, is similar to the implementation in which the terminal device obtains the first domain in step S701 above. For details, refer to the relevant description in step S701 above and will not be repeated here.
[0295] Exemplarily, in the case where the wireless access network device obtains the first domain from the terminal device, as shown in FIG10 , before step S703, the communication method may further include step S708:
[0296] S708: The terminal device sends fourth indication information to the wireless access network device. Accordingly, the wireless access network device receives the fourth indication information from the terminal device. The fourth indication information is used to indicate the first domain and is used to determine the second indication information.
[0297] Optionally, the fourth indication information may include the first domain, or the fourth indication information is indication information for indicating only the first domain. Exemplarily, the third indication information and the fourth indication information may be located in the same information, or may be located in different information.
[0298] Based on this optional solution, after obtaining the first domain, the wireless access network device can determine the time to send the second indication information based on the first domain. For example, the wireless access network device can obtain the location of the terminal device in real time, thereby determining when the terminal device is about to enter the first domain. Therefore, before the terminal device enters the first domain, the terminal device sends the second indication information, enabling the terminal device to transmit data on the second frequency band within the first domain, or to maintain the RRC deactivated state or RRC idle state.
[0299] It should be noted that there is no restriction on the order in which steps S707-S708 and step S706 are performed. For example, steps S707-S708 may be performed before step S706; or, steps S707-S708 may be performed after step S706; or, steps S707-S708 may be performed simultaneously with step S706.
[0300] Based on this possible implementation, the radio access network device senses the first domain and instructs the terminal device to release the RRC connection or transmit data on the second frequency band (i.e., sends a second indication message to the terminal device), thereby reducing the amount of computation performed by the terminal device and saving computing power for the terminal device.
[0301] Case 2: at least one first frequency band is all frequency bands in the frequency bands capable of data transmission, that is, in the first domain, no frequency band is capable of data transmission. In this case, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0302] As an example, the second indication information is determined according to the first request message, wherein the first request message is used to request the release of the RRC connection.
[0303] Optionally, before the terminal device enters the first domain, it may send a first request message to the wireless access network device, so that the wireless access network device can determine the second indication information according to the first request message.
[0304] Exemplarily, the first request message may be located in the RRCReleaseRequest field in the RRC message, where the RRCReleaseRequest field indicates the release of the RRC connection. In this case, the first request message may be represented by 1 bit. For example, the 1 bit may be 1, or the 1 bit may be 0.
[0305] Based on this example, the terminal device perceives the first domain and actively requests RRC connection release, so that the wireless access network device does not need to perceive the first domain and only needs to respond to the RRC connection release request, thereby reducing the computational complexity of the wireless access network device.
[0306] As another example, the second indication information is determined based on the indication information indicating the location of the terminal device, or the second indication information is determined based on the indication information indicating that the terminal device is about to enter the first domain. For ease of description, the indication information indicating the location of the terminal device when entering the first domain and the indication information indicating that the terminal device is about to enter the first domain are collectively referred to as first location indication information.
[0307] Optionally, the wireless access network device may determine whether the terminal device is about to enter the first domain based on the location of the terminal device and the first domain when the terminal device is about to enter the first domain. Thus, if the terminal device is about to enter the first domain, the wireless access network device may send the second indication information to the terminal device. Alternatively, the wireless access network device may send the second indication information to the terminal device based on a trigger of the indication information indicating that the terminal device is about to enter the first domain.
[0308] Exemplarily, the wireless access network device may obtain the first location indication information from the terminal device, that is, the terminal device directly sends the first location indication information to the wireless access network device. Alternatively, the wireless access network device may obtain the first location indication information from the core network, that is, the terminal device sends the first location indication information to the core network, and the core network sends the first location indication information to the wireless access network device. Exemplarily, the terminal device may send the first location indication information to a location management function (LMF) network element in the core network, so that the LMF network element sends the first location indication information to the wireless access network device.
[0309] Scenario 2: A terminal device communicates with two or more cells. The multiple radio access network devices include the terminal device's serving radio access network device. Therefore, the cell serving the serving radio access network device can be referred to as the primary cell, and the cells other than the primary cell in the multiple cells can be referred to as secondary cells. Scenario 2 can also be considered a Carrier Access Control (CA) scenario. For ease of description, the following example uses the terminal device communicating with the cells of two radio access network devices.
[0310] Optionally, in scenario 2, the terminal device may implement data transmission on the second frequency band within the first domain based on the instruction of the second instruction information, wherein the second instruction information is used to instruct data transmission on the second frequency band.
[0311] Exemplarily, the second indication information is determined by the wireless access device and sent to the terminal device. Exemplarily, in scenario 2, the second indication information can be implemented based on the following two possible implementations:
[0312] As a possible implementation manner, the second indication information is determined based on the first request message, wherein the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band.
[0313] Exemplarily, the first request message may be carried in an RRC reconfiguration message. In this case, the first request message may include the second frequency band.
[0314] Optionally, in this example, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the first request message is used to request switching to the second frequency band, and accordingly, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to switch to the second frequency band, thereby realizing data transmission on the second frequency band.
[0315] As an example, the frequency of the primary cell is located in the first frequency band, and the frequency of the secondary cell is located in another frequency band that does not belong to any first frequency band in the at least one first frequency band.
[0316] Optionally, in this example, the terminal device may determine the other frequency band that does not belong to any of the at least one first frequency band as the second frequency band. In this case, it can be considered that the frequency point of the secondary cell is in the second frequency band.
[0317] Optionally, in this example, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the first request message is used to request data transmission on the secondary cell. Correspondingly, at this time, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell.
[0318] Exemplarily, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the first request message is used to request data transmission only on the secondary cell; accordingly, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the secondary cell.
[0319] Alternatively, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the first request message is used to request that the secondary cell be changed to the primary cell. Correspondingly, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to change the secondary cell to the primary cell. Thus, based on the second indication information, the terminal device can change the secondary cell to the primary cell and perform data transmission on the changed primary cell, thereby achieving transmission on the second frequency band.
[0320] Alternatively, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the first request message is used to request suspension of data transmission on the primary cell; correspondingly, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to suspend data transmission on the primary cell. Thus, the terminal device can suspend data transmission on the primary cell according to the second indication information, and further, can continue data transmission on the secondary cell.
[0321] As another example, the frequency point of the primary cell is located in another frequency band that does not belong to any first frequency band of the at least one first frequency band, and the frequency point of the secondary cell is located in the first frequency band.
[0322] Optionally, in this example, the terminal device may determine the other frequency band that does not belong to any of the at least one first frequency band as the second frequency band. In this case, it can be considered that the frequency point of the primary cell is in the second frequency band.
[0323] Optionally, in this example, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the first request message is used to request data transmission on the primary cell. Correspondingly, at this time, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the primary cell.
[0324] Exemplarily, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the primary cell, including: the first request message is used to request data transmission only on the primary cell; correspondingly, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the primary cell, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the primary cell. Thus, the terminal device can suspend data transmission on the secondary cell according to the second indication information, and further, can continue data transmission on the primary cell.
[0325] Alternatively, the first request message is used to request data transmission on the primary cell, including: the first request message is used to request deletion or deactivation of the secondary cell; accordingly, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the primary cell, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to delete or deactivate the secondary cell. Thus, the terminal device can delete the secondary cell or deactivate the secondary cell according to the second indication information, so that the secondary cell cannot perform data transmission, thereby achieving data transmission on the second frequency band.
[0326] As another possible implementation, the second indication information is determined based on the first position indication information. For example, the implementation of the first position indication information can refer to the relevant description of the first position indication information in the above scenario 1, which will not be repeated here.
[0327] Optionally, the wireless access network device may determine whether the terminal device is about to enter the first domain based on the location of the terminal device and the first domain. If the terminal device is about to enter the first domain, the wireless access network device may send second indication information to the terminal device. Alternatively, the wireless access network device may send the second indication information to the terminal device based on a triggering of indication information indicating that the terminal device is about to enter the first domain.
[0328] As an example, the frequency of the primary cell is located in the first frequency band, and the frequency of the secondary cell is located in another frequency band that does not belong to any first frequency band in the at least one first frequency band.
[0329] Optionally, in this example, the terminal device may determine the other frequency band that does not belong to any of the at least one first frequency band as the second frequency band. In this case, it can be considered that the frequency point of the secondary cell is in the second frequency band.
[0330] Optionally, in this example, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell.
[0331] Exemplarily, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the secondary cell; thereby, the terminal device can suspend data transmission on the primary cell according to the second indication information, and further, can continue data transmission on the secondary cell.
[0332] Alternatively, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to change the secondary cell to the primary cell. Thus, according to the second indication information, the terminal device can change the secondary cell to the primary cell and perform data transmission on the changed primary cell, thereby achieving transmission on the second frequency band;
[0333] As another example, the frequency point of the primary cell is located in another frequency band that does not belong to any first frequency band of the at least one first frequency band, and the frequency point of the secondary cell is located in the first frequency band.
[0334] Optionally, in this example, the terminal device may determine the other frequency band that does not belong to any of the at least one first frequency band as the second frequency band. In this case, it can be considered that the frequency point of the primary cell is in the second frequency band.
[0335] Optionally, in this example, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the second frequency band, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the primary cell.
[0336] Exemplarily, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the primary cell, including: the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the primary cell, so that the terminal device can delete the secondary cell or deactivate the secondary cell according to the second indication information, so that the secondary cell cannot perform data transmission, thereby realizing data transmission on the second frequency band; or, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to delete or deactivate the secondary cell; or, the second indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to suspend data transmission on the secondary cell; so that the terminal device can suspend data transmission on the secondary cell according to the second indication information, and further, can continue data transmission on the primary cell.
[0337] It should be noted that the above scenario 2 only exemplarily describes the situation where the terminal device communicates with the cells of two wireless access network devices. The situation where the terminal device communicates with the cells of more than two wireless access network devices is similar to the situation where the terminal device communicates with the cells of two wireless access network devices. The implementation of the communication between the terminal device and the cells of two wireless access network devices can be referred to, and will not be repeated here.
[0338] The above is an explanation of the operations performed by the terminal device and / or the wireless access network device before the terminal device enters the first domain. The following is a detailed explanation of the operations performed by the terminal device and / or the wireless access network device after the terminal device leaves the first domain.
[0339] Exemplarily, after the terminal device leaves the first domain, it can be understood that: the terminal device is located outside the first domain at the current moment, and at a certain moment before the current moment, the terminal device was located in the first domain.
[0340] Exemplarily, after the terminal device leaves the first domain, the operations performed by the terminal device and / or the radio access network device can be implemented based on the following three methods:
[0341] Method 1: Within the first domain, when a terminal device is transmitting data on the second frequency band, after leaving the first domain, the terminal device may send a second measurement result for further processing by the radio access network device. The second measurement result is a measurement result after the terminal device leaves the first domain.
[0342] Exemplarily, after step S702, as shown in (a) of FIG11 , the communication method may further include the following step S709:
[0343] S709: The terminal device sends the second measurement result to the wireless access network device. Correspondingly, the wireless access network device receives the second measurement result from the terminal device.
[0344] As an example, the terminal device may perform real-time measurement and obtain real-time measurement results, thereby determining the measurement result after the terminal device leaves the first domain as the second measurement result.
[0345] For example, at time #2, the terminal device is located outside the first domain, and before time #2, the terminal device is located within the first domain. The measurement result at time #2 can be determined as the second measurement result. Alternatively, at time #2, the terminal device is greater than or equal to a preset distance threshold from the first domain, and before time #2, the terminal device is increasingly farther away from the first domain. In this case, it can be considered that the terminal device has left the first domain, and the measurement result at time #2 can be determined as the second measurement result.
[0346] As another example, after the terminal device leaves the first domain, the terminal device may perform measurement according to the measurement configuration from the radio access network device to determine a second measurement result.
[0347] Exemplarily, after the terminal device leaves the first domain, the terminal device may send indication information indicating the terminal device's location to the radio access network device, or the terminal device may send indication information indicating that the terminal device has left the first domain to the radio access network device. The radio access network device then sends a measurement configuration to the terminal device based on the indication information, so that the terminal device determines the second measurement result.
[0348] Optionally, the radio access network device may determine, based on the second measurement result, whether the second measurement result satisfies a handover condition. If the second measurement result satisfies the handover condition, the radio access network device may send configuration information for handover to the terminal device, so that the terminal device may perform handover based on the configuration information. If the second measurement result does not satisfy the handover condition, the radio access network device does not need to send the configuration information for handover, and the terminal device continues to perform data transmission on the second frequency band.
[0349] Exemplarily, when the second measurement result satisfies the switching condition, as shown in (a) of FIG11 , after step S709, the communication method may further include the following step S710:
[0350] S710: The wireless access network device sends fifth indication information to the terminal device. Accordingly, the terminal device receives the fifth indication information from the wireless access network device. The fifth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on a third frequency band, and the second measurement result includes a measurement result corresponding to a frequency point on the third frequency band.
[0351] Exemplarily, the fifth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the third frequency band, including: the fifth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to switch to the third frequency band. For example, the fifth indication information includes configuration information for switching to the third frequency band.
[0352] Optionally, the third frequency band can be a first frequency band in at least one first frequency band, or the third frequency band can be a frequency band in which at least one frequency point of the second measurement result is located, excluding at least one first frequency band and a second frequency band.
[0353] Method 2: Within the first domain, when the terminal device maintains the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state, the terminal device can establish an RRC connection after leaving the first domain.
[0354] As an example, the terminal device may request the wireless access network device to establish an RRC connection.
[0355] Exemplarily, after step S702, as shown in (b) of FIG11 , the communication method may further include the following steps:
[0356] S711: The terminal device sends a second request message to the wireless access network device. Correspondingly, the wireless access network device receives the second request message from the terminal device. The second request message is used to request establishment of an RRC connection.
[0357] S712: The wireless access network device sends sixth instruction information to the terminal device. Correspondingly, the terminal device receives the sixth instruction information from the wireless access network device. The sixth instruction information is used to instruct the terminal device to establish an RRC connection.
[0358] As another example, after establishing the RRC connection, the terminal device may send a confirmation message to the wireless access network device to indicate that the terminal device has established the RRC connection.
[0359] Method 3: After leaving the first domain, the terminal device may send second location indication information to the wireless access network device, wherein the second location indication information is used to indicate the location of the terminal device after leaving the first domain, or the second location indication information is used to indicate that the terminal device has left the first domain.
[0360] Optionally, in the third solution, the wireless access network device can determine that the terminal device has left the first domain based on the second location indication information, so that further operations can be performed based on the current state of the terminal device.
[0361] For example, in the first domain, when the terminal device performs data transmission on the second frequency band, the radio access network device may send, to the terminal device, indication information for instructing the terminal device to send the fourth measurement result. In the first domain, when the terminal device is in the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state, the radio access network device may send, to the terminal device, configuration information for establishing an RRC connection.
[0362] In addition to the communication method described above, the present embodiment further provides a communication method. See Figure 12, which is a flow chart of another communication method provided by the present embodiment. The communication method may include the following steps:
[0363] S1201: A terminal device obtains a first trigger condition, wherein the first trigger condition is determined based on a first domain and prohibits data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain.
[0364] Exemplarily, prohibiting data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain can also be understood as prohibiting uplink data transmission and / or downlink data transmission on at least one frequency band within the first domain. Correspondingly, prohibiting data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain can also be understood as prohibiting uplink data transmission and / or downlink data transmission on at least one first frequency band within the first domain.
[0365] As an example, when at least one first frequency band is all the frequency bands that can carry out data transmission, data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band in the first domain. It can also be understood that: within the first domain, data transmission cannot be carried out on any frequency band, that is, data transmission is prohibited within the first domain.
[0366] As another example, when at least one first frequency band is part of the frequency bands capable of data transmission, data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band within the first domain. This can be understood as: within the first domain, only the first frequency band cannot be used for data transmission, that is, within the first domain, data transmission can be performed on frequency bands other than the first frequency band.
[0367] Optionally, the first domain refers to a geographical area. Exemplarily, the first domain can be represented by a latitude and longitude range and an altitude range. That is, the latitude and longitude range and the altitude range can constitute the first domain.
[0368] For example, the first domain may also be referred to as the first zone, NTZ, etc., which is not limited in this application. For example, the terminal device may include a UAV.
[0369] As an example, the terminal device obtains the first trigger condition including: the terminal device determines the first trigger condition.
[0370] Optionally, in this example, the terminal device first obtains the first domain and then determines the first trigger condition based on the first domain. Exemplarily, the terminal device may obtain the first domain from the core network or a third-party device; or, the terminal device may obtain the first domain from a wireless access network device; or, the first domain may be preconfigured for the terminal device, for example, the first domain may be predefined by a protocol. The implementation of the terminal device obtaining the first domain can refer to the relevant description in step S701 above and will not be repeated here.
[0371] Exemplarily, the terminal device acquires the first domain, including: the wireless access network device sends ninth indication information to the terminal device, and the terminal device correspondingly receives the ninth indication information from the wireless access network device. The ninth indication information is used to indicate the first domain. In other words, the ninth indication information is used to determine the first trigger condition. Exemplarily, the implementation of the ninth indication information is similar to the implementation of the fourth indication information described above. For details, reference may be made to the relevant description of the fourth indication information, and no further details are given here.
[0372] Optionally, in this example, the terminal device may also obtain frequency band information. Exemplarily, the implementation of the terminal device obtaining the frequency band information is similar to the implementation of the terminal device obtaining the first domain in the above embodiment. Exemplarily, the frequency band information is a general term for frequency bands within the first domain where data transmission is prohibited and frequency bands within the first domain where data transmission is permitted.
[0373] For example, taking the example of a terminal device obtaining frequency band information from a wireless access network device, the terminal device obtaining the frequency band information includes: the wireless access network device sending tenth indication information to the terminal device, and the terminal device correspondingly receiving the tenth indication information from the wireless access network device. The tenth indication information is used to indicate at least one first frequency band. In other words, the tenth indication information is used to determine the first trigger condition. Exemplarily, the implementation of the tenth indication information is similar to the implementation of the third indication information described above. For details, please refer to the relevant description of the third indication information, and will not be repeated here.
[0374] As another example, the terminal device obtaining the first trigger condition includes: the terminal device receiving the first trigger condition from the radio access network device. That is, the first trigger condition is determined by the radio access network device according to the first domain.
[0375] Optionally, in this example, the wireless access network device first obtains the first domain and then determines the first trigger condition based on the first domain. Exemplarily, the wireless access network device may obtain the first domain from the core network or a third-party device; alternatively, the wireless access network device may obtain the first domain from the terminal device; alternatively, the first domain may be preconfigured for the terminal device, for example, the first domain may be predefined by a protocol. The implementation of the wireless access network obtaining the first domain can be referenced to the relevant description in FIG. 10 above and is not further described here.
[0376] Optionally, in this example, the wireless access network device may also obtain frequency band information. Exemplarily, the implementation of the wireless access network device obtaining the frequency band information is similar to the implementation of the wireless access network device obtaining the first domain in the above embodiment, and will not be repeated here.
[0377] When the first trigger condition is met, step S1202 may be executed:
[0378] S1202: The terminal device performs data transmission on a fourth frequency band, or maintains an RRC deactivated state or an RRC idle state, wherein at least one first frequency band is different from the fourth frequency band, or in other words, at least one first frequency band does not include the fourth frequency band.
[0379] Optionally, when the first trigger condition is met, it indicates that the terminal device is before entering the first domain (or the terminal device has not yet entered the first domain). For example, when the first trigger condition is met, it may indicate that the terminal device is about to enter the first domain at the current moment.
[0380] In the communication method provided in the embodiments of the present application, since the first trigger condition is determined based on the first domain and data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band within the first domain, the first trigger condition can be flexibly set. For example, the first trigger condition can be determined based on the distance between the first domain and the terminal device. For example, the first trigger condition can be satisfied just before the terminal device enters the first domain, so that the terminal device can transmit data on the fourth frequency band upon entering the first domain, or at least one first frequency band is different from the fourth frequency band when the terminal device is in the RRC deactivated state or RRC idle state.
[0381] The above is an overall description of the communication method of an embodiment of the present application. The following is a detailed introduction to the above embodiment involving "when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device transmits data on the fourth frequency band, or maintains the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state."
[0382] Optionally, when at least one first frequency band is a partial frequency band among the frequency bands capable of data transmission, that is, within the first domain, only the first frequency band cannot perform data transmission, before the first trigger condition is met (that is, when the first trigger condition is not met), the terminal device can determine whether it is necessary to change the current state of the terminal device based on the frequency band information it has acquired.
[0383] For example, the frequency band information includes frequency bands prohibited from data transmission within the first domain. In this case, the frequency band information includes at least one first frequency band. The terminal device can determine whether the frequency band currently performing data transmission is the first frequency band. If so, the terminal device needs to change its current state. If not, the terminal device does not need to change its current state.
[0384] Alternatively, the frequency band information includes frequency bands permitted for data transmission within the first domain. In this case, the frequency band information includes one or more frequency bands other than the first frequency band. The terminal device may determine that the frequency band currently performing data transmission is included in the frequency band information. If so, the terminal device does not need to change its current state. If not, the terminal device needs to change its current state.
[0385] Optionally, the frequency band for data transmission at the current moment does not belong to any first frequency band of at least one first frequency band, that is, the terminal device does not need to change the current state, and the frequency band for data transmission at the current moment can be considered to be the fourth frequency band. Therefore, when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device can transmit data on the fourth frequency band.
[0386] The following describes in detail the situation where the frequency band currently performing data transmission belongs to one or more first frequency bands in at least one first frequency band, i.e., the terminal device needs to change its current state. That is, before the first trigger condition is met (i.e., when the first trigger condition is not met), the terminal device performs data transmission in one or more first frequency bands in the at least one first frequency band.
[0387] In scenario 1, a terminal device communicates with a cell of a radio access network device. This radio access network device is the serving radio access network device of the terminal device. Scenario 1 can also be considered a single CC scenario.
[0388] For example, in the following scenario, “when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device transmits data on the fourth frequency band, or maintains the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state” can be implemented based on the following two possible implementation methods:
[0389] As an example, when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device can determine whether there is a fourth frequency band based on the frequency band information, thereby realizing data transmission on the fourth frequency band when the first trigger condition is met, or maintaining the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state.
[0390] Exemplarily, when at least one first frequency band included in the frequency band information is a partial frequency band among frequency bands capable of data transmission, it indicates that a fourth frequency band exists, and the terminal device can determine the fourth frequency band from one or more frequency bands other than the first frequency band; alternatively, when at least one first frequency band included in the frequency band information is all frequency bands among frequency bands capable of data transmission, it indicates that the fourth frequency band does not exist. Alternatively, when the frequency band information includes one or more frequency bands other than the first frequency band, it indicates that a fourth frequency band exists, and the terminal device can determine the fourth frequency band from one or more frequency bands other than the first frequency band.
[0391] Optionally, when the fourth frequency band does not exist, the terminal device may send a request message to the radio access network device to release the RRC connection. Based on the request message, the radio access network device sends configuration information for releasing the RRC connection to the terminal device, so that the terminal device can release the RRC connection. Furthermore, when the first trigger condition is met, the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state is maintained.
[0392] Alternatively, in the absence of the fourth frequency band, the terminal device can release the RRC connection, thereby maintaining the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state.
[0393] Optionally, when a fourth frequency band exists, the terminal device may send a request message to the radio access network device to switch to the fourth frequency band. Based on the request message, the radio access network device sends configuration information for switching to the fourth frequency band to the terminal device, enabling the terminal device to switch to the fourth frequency band. Furthermore, data transmission is implemented on the fourth frequency band when the first trigger condition is met.
[0394] Alternatively, if a fourth frequency band exists, the terminal device switches to the fourth frequency band, thereby enabling data transmission on the fourth frequency band. Optionally, after switching to the fourth frequency band, the terminal device may send a confirmation message to the wireless access network device to inform the wireless access network device that the terminal device has completed the switching.
[0395] As another example, the terminal device can, based on the instructions of the wireless access network device, implement data transmission on the second frequency band, or maintain the RRC deactivated state or RRC idle state when the first trigger condition is met.
[0396] Optionally, when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device transmits data on the fourth frequency band based on the instruction of the seventh indication information, or maintains the RRC deactivation state or the RRC idle state. The seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fourth frequency band, or the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0397] Exemplarily, before step S1202, the communication method may include the following steps S1203 to S1204:
[0398] S1203: The terminal device sends a third measurement result to the wireless access network device. Accordingly, the wireless access network device receives the third measurement result from the terminal device. The third measurement result includes a measurement result corresponding to at least one frequency point, where one or more of the at least one frequency point is within the fourth frequency band.
[0399] As an example, the terminal device can perform real-time measurements and obtain real-time measurement results. The measurement result when the first trigger condition is met is determined as the third measurement result. For example, if the first trigger condition is met at time #5, the measurement result at time #5 can be determined as the third measurement result.
[0400] As another example, when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device may perform measurement according to the measurement configuration from the radio access network device to determine a third measurement result.
[0401] Exemplarily, when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device may send indication information to the radio access network device indicating that the first trigger condition has been met. The radio access network device then sends a measurement configuration to the terminal device based on the indication information indicating that the first trigger condition has been met, causing the terminal device to determine the third measurement result. Alternatively, since meeting the first trigger condition indicates that the terminal device is about to enter a domain, the terminal device may send location indication information to the radio access network device when the first trigger condition is met. The radio access network device then sends a measurement configuration to the terminal device based on the location indication information, causing the terminal device to determine the third measurement result.
[0402] For example, the implementation of the position indication information may refer to the relevant description of the position indication information in the above embodiment, which will not be repeated here.
[0403] S1204: The wireless access network device sends seventh indication information to the terminal. Correspondingly, the terminal device receives the seventh indication information from the wireless access network device.
[0404] Case 1: At least one first frequency band is part of a frequency band capable of data transmission. That is, when the first trigger condition is met, only the first frequency band is disabled for data transmission. In this case, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fourth frequency band, or the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0405] Exemplarily, when the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection, the seventh indication information includes configuration information for releasing the RRC connection; when the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the fourth frequency band, the seventh indication information includes configuration information for switching to the fourth frequency band.
[0406] Optionally, the wireless access network device may determine the seventh indication information according to whether there is a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band in the at least one frequency point.
[0407] Exemplarily, the wireless access network device may determine whether the at least one frequency point includes a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band. If the at least one frequency point includes a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band, the frequency band in which one or more of the frequency points that do not belong to the first frequency band are located is determined as the fourth frequency band. If the at least one frequency point does not include a frequency point that does not belong to the first frequency band, it can be considered that each of the at least one frequency point is located within one or more of the at least one first frequency band.
[0408] As another example, when one or more frequency points of at least one frequency point are located in the fourth frequency band, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the fourth frequency band.
[0409] Optionally, in this example, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the fourth frequency band, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to switch to the fourth frequency band, thereby realizing data transmission on the fourth frequency band.
[0410] As another example, when each of the at least one frequency point is located in at least one first frequency band, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0411] Optionally, in this example, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to migrate to the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state. Thus, the terminal device can migrate from the RRC connected state to the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state according to the seventh indication information, thereby releasing the RRC connection.
[0412] Case 2: at least one first frequency band is all frequency bands that can perform data transmission, that is, when the first trigger condition is met, no frequency band can perform data transmission. In this case, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to release the RRC connection.
[0413] As an example, the seventh indication information is determined according to request information for requesting to release the RRC connection.
[0414] Optionally, when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device may send a request message for requesting to release the RRC connection to the wireless access device, so that the wireless access network device can determine the seventh indication information based on the request message for requesting to release the RRC connection.
[0415] Exemplarily, the request information for requesting the release of the RRC connection may be located in an RRCReleaseRequest field in an RRC message, where the RRCReleaseRequest field indicates the release of the RRC connection. In this case, the first request message may be represented by 1 bit. For example, the 1 bit may be 1, or the 1 bit may be 0.
[0416] As another example, the seventh indication information is determined according to the indication information used to indicate that the first trigger condition is met.
[0417] Optionally, when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device may send indication information to the wireless access network device to indicate that the first trigger condition is met, so that the wireless access network device determines the seventh indication information based on the indication information or the location indication information indicating that the first trigger condition is met.
[0418] As another example, the seventh indication information is determined based on the third position indication information. The third position indication information is used to indicate the position of the terminal device when the first trigger condition is met, and / or the third position indication information is used to indicate that the first trigger condition is met.
[0419] Optionally, the wireless access network device may determine whether the terminal device is about to enter the first domain based on the location of the terminal device and the first domain when the first trigger condition is met. Thus, if the terminal device is about to enter the first domain, the wireless access network device may send seventh indication information to the terminal device. Alternatively, the wireless access network device may send the seventh indication information to the terminal device based on the triggering of indication information indicating that the terminal device is about to enter the first domain.
[0420] Exemplarily, the radio access network device may obtain the third location indication information from the terminal device, i.e., the terminal device directly sends the third location indication information to the radio access network device. Alternatively, the radio access network device may obtain the third location indication information from the core network, i.e., the terminal device sends the third location indication information to the core network, which then sends the third location indication information to the radio access network device. Exemplarily, the terminal device may send the third location indication information to an LMF network element in the core network, so that the LMF network element sends the third location indication information to the radio access network device.
[0421] Scenario 2: A terminal device communicates with two or more cells.
[0422] Optionally, in scenario 2, the terminal device may implement data transmission on the fourth frequency band based on the instruction of the seventh instruction information when the first trigger condition is met. The seventh instruction information is used to instruct data transmission on the fourth frequency band.
[0423] Exemplarily, the seventh indication information is determined by the wireless access device and sent to the terminal device. Exemplarily, in scenario 2, the seventh indication information can be implemented based on the following two possible implementations:
[0424] As a possible implementation manner, the seventh indication information is determined based on a request message for requesting data transmission in the fourth frequency band.
[0425] Optionally, in this example, the request message for requesting data transmission on the fourth frequency band can also be used to request switching to the fourth frequency band. Accordingly, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fourth frequency band, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to switch to the fourth frequency band, thereby realizing data transmission on the fourth frequency band.
[0426] As an example, the frequency of the primary cell is located in the first frequency band, and the frequency of the secondary cell is located in another frequency band that does not belong to any first frequency band in the at least one first frequency band.
[0427] Optionally, in this example, the terminal device may determine the other frequency band that does not belong to any of the at least one first frequency band as the fourth frequency band. In this case, it can be considered that the frequency point of the secondary cell is in the fourth frequency band.
[0428] Optionally, in this example, the request message for requesting data transmission on the fourth frequency band can also be used to request data transmission on the secondary cell. Accordingly, at this time, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fourth frequency band, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell.
[0429] Exemplarily, it is used to request data transmission on the secondary cell, and can also be understood as: used to request data transmission only on the secondary cell; accordingly, at this time, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the secondary cell.
[0430] Alternatively, the seventh indication information used to request data transmission on the secondary cell can also be understood as requesting that the secondary cell be changed to the primary cell. Accordingly, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to change the secondary cell to the primary cell. Thus, the terminal device can change the secondary cell to the primary cell based on the seventh indication information and perform data transmission on the changed primary cell, thereby achieving transmission on the fourth frequency band.
[0431] Alternatively, the seventh indication information is used to request data transmission on the secondary cell, which can also be understood as requesting suspension of data transmission on the primary cell. Accordingly, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to suspend data transmission on the primary cell. Thus, the terminal device can suspend data transmission on the primary cell according to the seventh indication information, and further, can continue data transmission on the secondary cell.
[0432] As another example, the frequency point of the primary cell is located in another frequency band that does not belong to any first frequency band of the at least one first frequency band, and the frequency point of the secondary cell is located in the first frequency band.
[0433] Optionally, in this example, the terminal device may determine the other frequency band that does not belong to any of the at least one first frequency band as the fourth frequency band. In this case, it can be considered that the frequency point of the primary cell is in the fourth frequency band.
[0434] Optionally, in this example, the request message for requesting data transmission on the fourth frequency band can also be used to request data transmission on the primary cell. Accordingly, at this time, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fourth frequency band, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the primary cell.
[0435] Exemplarily, the seventh indication information is used to request data transmission on the primary cell, which can also be understood as requesting data transmission only on the primary cell. Accordingly, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the primary cell, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the primary cell. Thus, the terminal device can suspend data transmission on the secondary cell based on the second indication information, and further, can continue data transmission on the primary cell. This enables data transmission on the fourth frequency band.
[0436] Alternatively, the seventh indication information is used to request data transmission on the primary cell, which can also be understood as requesting deletion or deactivation of the secondary cell. Accordingly, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the primary cell, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to delete or deactivate the secondary cell. Thus, the terminal device can delete the secondary cell or deactivate the secondary cell according to the second indication information, so that the secondary cell cannot perform data transmission, thereby achieving data transmission on the fourth frequency band.
[0437] As another possible implementation manner, the seventh indication information is determined based on the third position indication information.
[0438] Optionally, the wireless access network device may determine whether the terminal device is about to enter the first domain based on the location of the terminal device and the first domain when the first trigger condition is met. In this case, the wireless access network device sends seventh indication information to the terminal device. Alternatively, the wireless access network device sends the seventh indication information to the terminal device based on the triggering of the indication information indicating the first trigger condition.
[0439] As an example, the frequency of the primary cell is located in the first frequency band, and the frequency of the secondary cell is located in another frequency band that does not belong to any first frequency band in the at least one first frequency band.
[0440] Optionally, in this example, the terminal device may determine the other frequency band that does not belong to any of the at least one first frequency band as the second frequency band. In this case, it can be considered that the frequency point of the secondary cell is in the fourth frequency band.
[0441] Optionally, in this example, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fourth frequency band, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell.
[0442] Exemplarily, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the secondary cell, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the secondary cell; thereby, the terminal device can suspend data transmission on the primary cell according to the seventh indication information, and further, can continue data transmission on the secondary cell.
[0443] Alternatively, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to change the secondary cell to the primary cell. Thus, according to the seventh indication information, the terminal device can change the secondary cell to the primary cell and perform data transmission on the changed primary cell, thereby achieving transmission on the seventh frequency band;
[0444] As another example, the frequency point of the primary cell is located in another frequency band that does not belong to any first frequency band of the at least one first frequency band, and the frequency point of the secondary cell is located in the first frequency band.
[0445] Optionally, in this example, the terminal device may determine the other frequency band that does not belong to any of the at least one first frequency band as the second frequency band. In this case, it can be considered that the frequency point of the primary cell is in the fourth frequency band.
[0446] Optionally, in this example, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fourth frequency band, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the primary cell.
[0447] Exemplarily, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the primary cell, including: the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission only on the primary cell, so that the terminal device can delete the secondary cell or deactivate the secondary cell according to the seventh indication information, so that the secondary cell cannot perform data transmission, thereby realizing data transmission on the fourth frequency band; or, the fourth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to delete or deactivate the secondary cell; or, the seventh indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to suspend data transmission on the secondary cell; so that the terminal device can suspend data transmission on the secondary cell according to the seventh indication information, and further, can continue data transmission on the primary cell.
[0448] It should be noted that the above scenario 2 only exemplarily describes the situation where the terminal device communicates with the cells of two wireless access network devices. The situation where the terminal device communicates with the cells of more than two wireless access network devices is similar to the situation where the terminal device communicates with the cells of two wireless access network devices. The implementation of the communication between the terminal device and the cells of two wireless access network devices can be referred to, and will not be repeated here.
[0449] The above is an explanation of the seventh indication information in the embodiment of the present application. The following is a detailed introduction to the "first trigger condition" involved in the above embodiment.
[0450] As an example, the first trigger condition includes: a distance between the terminal device and a first location is less than or equal to a first threshold, and the first location is determined according to the first domain.
[0451] Optionally, the distance between the terminal device and the first location is less than or equal to a first threshold, including: within a first time period, the distance between the terminal device and the first location is less than or equal to the first threshold.
[0452] Exemplarily, within the first time period, the distance between the terminal device and the first position is less than or equal to the first threshold, which can be understood as: within the first time period, the terminal device has been close to the first domain, or within the first time period, the terminal device has always been near the first domain.
[0453] Based on this optional solution, the terminal device determines that the first trigger threshold is met when the distance between the terminal device and the first location is less than or equal to the first threshold within the first time period. This ensures that the terminal device is always near the first domain. This eliminates the influence of the ping-pong effect and prevents the terminal device from erroneously triggering the first trigger condition.
[0454] As another example, the first trigger condition includes: the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold, and the first position is determined based on the first domain; or, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold.
[0455] Exemplarily, the first offset value can be determined based on the speed information of the terminal device. Different speed information can correspond to different offset values. For example, a correspondence between different speed information and different offset values can be preconfigured. Thus, in this solution, based on the current speed information of the terminal device, the offset value corresponding to the current speed information is determined as the first offset value from the correspondence.
[0456] Optionally, the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold, including: within the first time period, the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold.
[0457] Exemplarily, within the first time length, the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold value, which can be understood as: within the first time length, the terminal device has been close to the first domain, or within the first time length, the terminal device is always in the vicinity of the first domain. And within the first time length, the distance between the terminal device and the first position is less than or equal to the difference between the first threshold value and the first offset value. Optionally, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold value, including: within the first time length, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold value.
[0458] For example, if, during the first duration, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the first location and the first offset value is less than or equal to the first threshold, it can be understood that: during the first duration, the terminal device has been constantly approaching the first domain, or the terminal device has always been in the vicinity of the first domain. Furthermore, during the first duration, the distance between the terminal device and the first location is less than or equal to the difference between the first threshold and the first offset value.
[0459] Optionally, the distance between the terminal device and the first position is understood to be a vertical distance between the terminal device and the first position. Exemplarily, the terminal device can measure the distance between the terminal device and the first position in real time to determine whether the first trigger condition is met.
[0460] Optionally, the first position is a geographical location, which is represented by latitude, longitude, and elevation, wherein the elevation is the height from sea level.
[0461] Optionally, the first position is the position of a reference point that is closest to the terminal device among multiple reference points on the boundary of the first domain; or, the first position is located on a line connecting any two reference points on the boundary of the first domain; or, the first position is located within the first domain.
[0462] Exemplarily, as shown in (a) in Figure 13, the first position may be located on the boundary of the first domain. At this time, the first position is the position of the reference point closest to the terminal device among the multiple reference points on the boundary of the first domain. Alternatively, as shown in (b) in Figure 13, the first position is located on the line connected by any two reference points on the boundary of the first domain. Alternatively, the first position is located at any position within the first domain. For example, as shown in (c) in Figure 13, the first position may be located at the center of the first domain. The solid circles in Figure 13 (Figure 13 (a), Figure 13 (b), or Figure 13 (c)) represent the first positions (i.e., first position #1, first position #2, first position #3), and the length of the two-way arrow is the distance between the terminal device and the first position.
[0463] Optionally, for first positions under different definitions, the corresponding first threshold values are different. For example, as shown in FIG13 , first position #1, first position #2, and first position #3 respectively correspond to different first threshold values. The embodiment of the present application does not limit the value of the first threshold, and it is only necessary that when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device is at the moment before the first domain is performed.
[0464] Optionally, for the first position under the same definition, the value of the first threshold remains unchanged, but the geographical location of the first position may change accordingly according to the location of the terminal device.
[0465] For example, taking the definition of the first position as the position of the reference point closest to the terminal device among multiple reference points on the boundary of the first domain as an example, as shown in Figure 14, when the terminal device is in different orientations of the first domain, the position of the reference point closest to the terminal device among the multiple reference points on the boundary of the first domain is different. That is, the first position corresponding to terminal device #1 in Figure 14 is a solid circle with a distance #1 from it; the first position corresponding to terminal device #2 is a solid circle with a distance #2 from it.
[0466] Optionally, the first trigger condition also includes: the terminal device transmits data on one or more first frequency bands in at least one first frequency band.
[0467] Exemplarily, the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more first frequency bands in at least one first frequency band, including: before the terminal device enters the first domain, the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more first frequency bands in at least one first frequency band.
[0468] Exemplarily, the terminal device determines, based on at least one first frequency band, whether it performs data transmission on one or more first frequency bands of at least one first frequency band before entering the first domain. When the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more first frequency bands of at least one first frequency band, if the relationship between the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first threshold satisfies the relationship described in the above two examples, it triggers reporting of a third measurement result, or sending indication information that can trigger the second indication information (such as third position indication information, or indication information for requesting data transmission on a fourth frequency band, request information for requesting to release the RRC connection, etc.).
[0469] Based on this optional solution, since data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band within the first domain, before the terminal device enters the first domain, and when the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more first frequency bands of at least one first frequency band, the terminal device needs to determine whether to trigger reporting based on the relationship between the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first threshold. At this time, the terminal device does not need to trigger reporting.
[0470] Optionally, the first trigger condition further includes: a change in the distance of the terminal device within a unit time is greater than or equal to a third threshold. Exemplarily, the unit time may be in seconds or milliseconds, etc., which is not limited in this application.
[0471] Exemplarily, the change in the distance of the terminal device within a unit time being greater than or equal to the third threshold can be understood as: within the unit time, the change in the distance of the terminal device relative to the first position is greater than or equal to the third threshold.
[0472] Optionally, the value of the distance change may be a positive number or a negative number. When the distance change is a positive number, the terminal device gradually approaches the center of the first domain. When the distance change is a negative number, the terminal device gradually moves away from the center of the first domain.
[0473] Optionally, the change in the distance of the terminal device relative to the first location may be the result of dividing the difference between the first distance and the second distance by the time difference between the first moment and the second moment. The first distance is the distance between the terminal device and the first location at the first moment, and the second distance is the distance between the terminal device and the first location at the second moment. The second moment is later than the first moment.
[0474] For example, at the first moment, the distance between the terminal device and the first location is 15 meters. At the second moment, the distance between the terminal device and the first location is 10 meters. The first and second moments differ by 5 seconds. At this time, the distance change per unit time of the terminal device is 1 meter per second. At the same time, the distance change is a positive number, so it can be considered that the terminal device is approaching the first domain at a speed of 1 meter per second.
[0475] Based on this optional scheme, the terminal device can determine whether the terminal device is gradually approaching the center of the first domain based on the relationship between the distance change of the terminal device per unit time and the third threshold, thereby ensuring that the report is triggered when the first trigger condition is met, and the terminal device can enter the first domain, so that the terminal device performs data transmission on the fourth frequency band according to the instructions of the seventh indication information, or the scheme of releasing the RRC connection can be implemented in the first domain, that is, prohibiting data transmission on at least one first frequency band in the first domain, that is, the terminal device implements the NTZ mechanism.
[0476] It should be noted that the above examples are merely illustrative of some of the contents included in the first trigger condition. In practice, the above examples can be combined in any way. For example, the first trigger condition may include: within a first time period, the distance between the terminal device and the first location is less than or equal to a first threshold; the terminal device transmits data on one or more first frequency bands in at least one first frequency band; and the change in the distance of the terminal device per unit time is greater than or equal to a third threshold. In this case, the first trigger condition is considered satisfied only when all three conditions are met simultaneously.
[0477] Optionally, when the terminal device is determining whether the first departure condition is met, if the terminal device has entered the first domain, it is considered that the first trigger condition is met at this time, triggering the reporting of the third measurement result, or sending indication information that can trigger the second indication information (such as third position indication information, or indication information for requesting data transmission on the fourth frequency band, request information for requesting to release the RRC connection, etc.).
[0478] Optionally, after step S1202, as shown in FIG15 , the communication method may further include the following steps:
[0479] S1205: The terminal device obtains a second trigger condition, wherein the second trigger condition is determined according to the first domain.
[0480] Optionally, when the second trigger condition is met, it is indicated as after the terminal device leaves the first domain. For example, when the first trigger condition is met, it can be indicated that the terminal device has left the first domain at the current moment. Optionally, when the second trigger condition is met, the terminal device can operate based on the following two methods:
[0481] Method 1: The terminal device performs an operation according to the eighth indication information. The eighth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to transmit data on the fifth frequency band, or the eighth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to establish an RRC connection. The fourth measurement result includes a measurement result corresponding to a frequency point within the fifth frequency band. The fourth measurement result is a measurement result when the second trigger condition is met.
[0482] Exemplarily, as shown in (a) or (b) of FIG16 , after step S1205 , the communication method may further include the following step S1206 :
[0483] S1206: The wireless access network device sends eighth indication information to the terminal. Correspondingly, the terminal device receives the eighth indication information from the wireless access network device.
[0484] As an example, the eighth indication information is determined based on the fourth measurement result. In this case, the eighth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fifth frequency band.
[0485] Optionally, in this example, if the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device transmits data on the fourth frequency band.
[0486] Exemplarily, before step S1206, as shown in (a) of FIG16 , the communication method may further include the following step S1207:
[0487] S1207: The terminal device sends a fourth measurement result to the wireless access network device. Correspondingly, the wireless access network device receives the fourth measurement result from the terminal device. The fourth measurement result includes measurement results corresponding to at least one frequency point.
[0488] Optionally, the fifth frequency band can be a first frequency band in at least one first frequency band, or the fifth frequency band can be a frequency band in which at least one frequency point of the fourth measurement result is located, excluding at least one first frequency band and the fourth frequency band.
[0489] Optionally, the terminal device may perform real-time measurement and obtain real-time measurement results, thereby determining the measurement result when the second trigger condition is met as the fourth measurement result.
[0490] Alternatively, when the second trigger condition is met, the terminal device may perform measurements based on the measurement configuration from the radio access network device to determine a fourth measurement result. Exemplarily, when the second trigger condition is met, the terminal device may send indication information indicating the location of the terminal device to the radio access network device, or the terminal device may send indication information indicating that the second trigger condition is met to the radio access network device. The radio access network device then sends the measurement configuration to the terminal device based on the indication information, causing the terminal device to determine the fourth measurement result.
[0491] Optionally, the wireless access network device may determine, based on the fourth measurement result, whether the fourth measurement result satisfies the switching condition. If the fourth measurement result satisfies the switching condition, the wireless access network device may send configuration information for switching (i.e., eighth indication information) to the terminal device, so that the terminal device may perform switching according to the configuration information.
[0492] In addition, when the fourth measurement result does not meet the switching condition, the wireless access network device does not need to send configuration information for switching, and the terminal device still transmits data on the fourth frequency band.
[0493] As another example, the eighth indication information is determined according to the third request message. In this case, the eighth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fifth frequency band, or the eighth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to establish an RRC connection.
[0494] Exemplarily, before step S1206, as shown in (b) of FIG16 , the communication method may further include the following steps:
[0495] S1208. The terminal device sends a third request message to the wireless access network device. Accordingly, the wireless access network device receives the third request message from the terminal device. The third request message is used to request establishment of an RRC connection, or the third request message is used to request data transmission on the fifth frequency band.
[0496] Optionally, in this example, if the first trigger condition is met and the terminal device maintains the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state, the third request message is used to request the establishment of an RRC connection. Accordingly, the eighth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to establish an RRC connection.
[0497] If the terminal device performs data transmission on the fourth frequency band when the first trigger condition is met, the third request message is used to request data transmission on the fifth frequency band. Accordingly, the eighth indication information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform data transmission on the fifth frequency band.
[0498] Exemplarily, the terminal device can determine the fifth frequency band based on the fourth measurement result, wherein the process of the terminal device determining the fifth frequency band based on the fourth measurement result is similar to the process of the terminal device determining the second frequency band based on the first measurement result in the above embodiment. For details, please refer to the relevant description of the above embodiment, which will not be repeated here.
[0499] In addition, if the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device transmits data on the fourth frequency band, and the terminal determines that there is no need to perform switching, the terminal device does not need to send the third request message at this time, and therefore, the wireless access network device does not need to send the eighth indication information, so that the terminal device still transmits data on the fourth frequency band.
[0500] Method 2: When the second trigger condition is met, the terminal device can independently determine whether to perform the operation. Furthermore, after performing the operation, the terminal device can send a confirmation message to the wireless access network device to inform the wireless access network device of the operation it has performed.
[0501] For example, if the terminal device maintains an RRC deactivated state or an RRC idle state when the first trigger condition is met, the terminal device may establish an RRC connection when the second trigger condition is met. Furthermore, after establishing the RRC connection, the terminal device may send a confirmation message to the wireless access network device, indicating that the terminal device has established the RRC connection.
[0502] If the first trigger condition is met and the terminal device is transmitting data in the fourth frequency band, and the second trigger condition is met, the terminal device may determine whether to switch the frequency band based on the fourth measurement result. If the frequency band needs to be switched, the terminal device may switch to the fifth frequency band. Further, after switching to the fifth frequency band, the terminal device may send a confirmation message to the wireless access network device, indicating that the terminal device has switched to the fifth frequency band.
[0503] Method 3: When the second trigger condition is met, the terminal device may send fourth location indication information to the wireless access network device. The fourth location indication information is used to indicate the location of the terminal device when the second trigger condition is met, or the second location indication information is used to indicate that the second trigger condition is met.
[0504] Optionally, in the third solution, the wireless access network device can determine that the terminal device has left the first domain based on the fourth location indication information, so as to perform further operations based on the current state of the terminal device.
[0505] For example, if the first trigger condition is met and the terminal device is transmitting data on the fourth frequency band, the radio access network device may send, to the terminal device, indication information for instructing the terminal device to send the fourth measurement result. If the first trigger condition is met and the terminal device is in an RRC deactivated state or an RRC idle state, the radio access network device may send, to the terminal device, configuration information for establishing an RRC connection. The "second trigger condition" involved in the above embodiment is described in detail below.
[0506] As an example, the second trigger condition includes: a distance between the terminal device and the second location is less than or equal to a fourth threshold, and the second location is determined according to the first domain.
[0507] Optionally, the distance between the terminal device and the second location is greater than or equal to a fourth threshold, including: within the second time period, the distance between the terminal device and the second location is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold.
[0508] For example, within the second time period, the distance between the terminal device and the second location is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold, which can be understood as: within the second time period, the terminal device has been moving away from the first domain, or within the second time period, the terminal device has always maintained a certain distance from the first domain.
[0509] Based on this optional solution, the terminal device determines that the second trigger threshold is met when the distance between the terminal device and the second location is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold within the second time period. This ensures that the terminal device has left the first domain. This eliminates the influence of the ping-pong effect and prevents the terminal device from erroneously triggering the second trigger condition.
[0510] As another example, the second trigger condition includes: the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to a fourth threshold, and the second position is determined based on the first domain; or, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold.
[0511] For example, the implementation of the second offset value is similar to that of the first offset value, and the details can be referred to the related description of the first offset value, which will not be repeated here. For example, the value of the second offset value can be the same as or different from the value of the first offset value.
[0512] Optionally, the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to a fourth threshold, including: within the second time period, the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold.
[0513] For example, if, during the second duration, the sum of the distance between the terminal device and the second location and the second offset value is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold, it can be understood that: during the second duration, the terminal device has been moving away from the first domain, or during the first duration, the terminal device has always maintained a certain distance from the first domain. Furthermore, during the second duration, the distance between the terminal device and the second location is greater than or equal to the sum of the fourth threshold and the second offset value.
[0514] Optionally, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to a fourth threshold, including: within the second time period, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the second position and the second offset value is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold.
[0515] For example, if, during the second duration, the difference between the distance between the terminal device and the second location and the second offset value is greater than or equal to the fourth threshold, it can be understood that: during the second duration, the terminal device has been moving away from the first domain, or that during the first duration, the terminal device has always maintained a certain distance from the first domain. Furthermore, during the second duration, the distance between the terminal device and the second location is greater than or equal to the difference between the fourth threshold and the second offset value.
[0516] Optionally, the distance between the terminal device and the second position is understood as the vertical distance between the terminal device and the second position. Exemplarily, the terminal device can measure the distance between the terminal device and the second position in real time to determine whether the second trigger condition is met.
[0517] Optionally, the second position is the position of a reference point that is closest to the terminal device among multiple reference points on the boundary of the first domain; or, the second position is located on a line connecting any two reference points on the boundary of the first domain; or, the second position is located within the first domain.
[0518] Exemplarily, as shown in (a) in Figure 17, the second position may be located on the boundary of the first domain. In this case, the second position is the position of the reference point closest to the terminal device among the multiple reference points on the boundary of the first domain. Alternatively, as shown in (b) in Figure 17, the second position is located on the line connected by any two reference points on the boundary of the first domain. Alternatively, the second position is located at any position within the first domain. For example, as shown in (c) in Figure 17, the second position may be located at the center of the first domain. The solid circles in Figure 17 (Figure 17 (a), Figure 17 (b), or Figure 17 (c)) represent the second positions (i.e., second position #1, second position #2, second position #3), and the length of the two-way arrow is the distance between the terminal device and the second position.
[0519] Exemplarily, the implementation of the second position is similar to that of the first position. For details, please refer to the relevant description of the first position, which will not be repeated here.
[0520] Optionally, the second trigger condition also includes: the terminal device transmits data on one or more frequency bands other than at least one first frequency band, and the fourth measurement result includes measurement results corresponding to frequency points on the one or more frequency bands.
[0521] Exemplarily, the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more frequency bands other than at least one first frequency band, including: after the terminal device leaves the first domain, the terminal device performs data transmission on one or more frequency bands other than at least one first frequency band.
[0522] Exemplarily, the terminal device determines, based on at least one first frequency band, whether it performs data transmission on one or more first frequency bands of at least one first frequency band after leaving the first domain. If the terminal device does not perform data transmission on one or more first frequency bands of at least one first frequency band, if the relationship between the distance between the terminal device and the first position and the first threshold satisfies the relationship described in the above two examples, it triggers reporting of the fourth measurement result, or sending indication information that can trigger the eighth indication information (such as fourth position indication information, or indication information for requesting data transmission on the fourth frequency band, request information for requesting to release the RRC connection, etc.).
[0523] Based on this optional solution, since data transmission is prohibited on at least one first frequency band in the first domain, the terminal device does not perform data transmission on the first frequency band in the first domain (such as performing data transmission on the fourth frequency band according to the instruction of the seventh indication information). Therefore, after leaving the first domain, the terminal device still performs data transmission on the fourth frequency band. At this time, the terminal device can determine whether to report the fourth measurement result or send indication information that can trigger the eighth indication information based on the relationship between the distance between the terminal device and the second location and the fourth threshold. This further determines whether it is necessary to switch the frequency band.
[0524] Optionally, the second trigger condition also includes: a distance change of the terminal device within a unit time is greater than or equal to a fifth threshold.
[0525] Exemplarily, the change in the distance between the terminal devices within a unit time being greater than or equal to the fifth threshold can be understood as: within the unit time, the change in the distance between the terminal devices relative to the second position is greater than or equal to the fifth threshold.
[0526] Optionally, the change in the distance of the terminal device relative to the second location may be the result of dividing the difference between the third distance and the fourth distance by the time difference between the third moment and the fourth moment. The third distance is the distance between the terminal device and the second location at the third moment, and the fourth distance is the distance between the terminal device and the second location at the fourth moment. The fourth moment is after the third moment.
[0527] For example, the distance between the terminal device and the second location at the third moment is 5 meters, and the distance between the terminal device and the second location at the fourth moment is 10 meters. The difference between the third and fourth moments is 5 seconds. At this time, the distance change per unit time of the terminal device is -1 meter / second. At the same time, because the distance change is a negative number, it can be assumed that the terminal device is moving away from the first domain at a speed of 1 meter / second.
[0528] It should be noted that the above is only an illustrative introduction to the communication method described in Figures 7 and 12. In fact, the communication methods described in Figures 7 and 12 can also be used in combination. For example, in the method shown in Figure 7, the terminal device can determine whether the terminal device is about to enter the first domain based on the first trigger condition. For example, if the first trigger condition is met, it can be considered that the terminal device is about to enter the first domain; similarly, it can be determined whether the terminal device has left the first domain based on the second trigger condition. For example, if the second trigger condition is met, it can be considered that the terminal device has left the first domain. I will not go into details here. In addition to the method described above, an embodiment of the present application also provides a communication method. See Figure 18, which is a flowchart of another communication method provided by an embodiment of the present application. The method is applied to a scenario where the terminal device is in an RRC deactivated state or an RRC idle state. The communication method may include the following steps:
[0529] S1801, wherein step S1801 is the same as step S701, and the details may refer to the relevant description of the above step S701, which will not be repeated here.
[0530] S1802: The wireless access network device sends a system message to the terminal device, and correspondingly, the terminal device receives the system message from the wireless access network device, wherein the system message indicates a unified access control parameter.
[0531] Exemplarily, the unified access control parameter may be a UAC parameter, wherein the UAC parameter is used to indicate whether an access attempt of a terminal device corresponding to the AI is allowed.
[0532] Optionally, after step S1802, the terminal device may further execute the following S1803A or S1803B:
[0533] S1803A. When the unified access control parameter indicates that service access corresponding to the first AI and / or the first AC is allowed, and the terminal device is located in the first domain, determine that the access attempt is prohibited, where the first AI is the service identifier of the terminal device, and the first AC is the service type of the terminal device.
[0534] As a possible implementation, when the unified access control parameter indicates that service access corresponding to the first AI and / or the first AC is allowed and the terminal device is located in the first domain, determining that the access attempt is prohibited includes: performing an access prohibition check based on the first AI and / or the first AC and the unified access control parameter to obtain a first result, wherein, when the unified access control parameter indicates that access by the terminal device corresponding to the AI and / or AC is allowed, the first result is that the access attempt is allowed; when the unified access control parameter indicates that access by the terminal device corresponding to the AI and / or AC is prohibited, the first result is that the access attempt is prohibited. When the terminal device is located in the first domain and the first result is that the access attempt is allowed, the first result is changed to that the access attempt is prohibited.
[0535] Exemplarily, the process of performing access barring check according to the first AI and / or the first AC and the unified access control parameter to obtain the first result can refer to the above description of the UAC parameter, which will not be repeated here.
[0536] Exemplarily, in this possible implementation, it is first determined whether the unified access control parameter indicates that the access attempt is allowed or that the access attempt is prohibited, and then it is determined whether the terminal device is located in the first domain; when the unified access control parameter indicates that the access attempt is allowed, if the terminal device is located in the first domain, the result indicated by the unified access control parameter (i.e., the first result) is changed to the access attempt being prohibited.
[0537] As another possible implementation manner, when the unified access control parameter indicates that the terminal device corresponding to the AI and / or the AC is allowed to access, and the terminal device is located in the first domain, determining that the access attempt is prohibited includes:
[0538] When the terminal device is located in the first domain, an access prohibition check is performed according to the first AI and / or the first AC and the unified access control parameters to obtain a second result, which is that the access attempt is prohibited.
[0539] Exemplarily, in this possible implementation, it is first determined whether the terminal device is located in the first domain. If the terminal device is located in the first domain, regardless of whether the unified access control parameter indicates that the access attempt is allowed or that the access attempt is prohibited, the access attempt of the terminal device is considered to be prohibited.
[0540] S1803B: When the unified access control parameter indicates that service access corresponding to the first AI and / or the first AC is allowed, and the terminal device is located outside the first domain, determine that the access attempt is allowed.
[0541] The communication method provided in the embodiment of the present application, when the terminal device is in the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state, if the terminal device has a need to send data, it is first necessary to perform an access prohibition check, and on the basis of the access prohibition check, a judgment is added on the location of the terminal device, that is, whether the terminal device is located in the first domain. If the terminal device is located in the first domain, it is considered that the terminal device access attempt is prohibited, so that the terminal device cannot request RRC establishment, so that the terminal device in the first domain can maintain the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state.
[0542] The solution described in Figure 18 above can also be applied to the communication methods described in Figures 7 and 12 above. For example, in the first domain, when the terminal device is in the RRC deactivated state or the RRC idle state, if the terminal device has the need to send data, the solution described in Figure 18 can be executed.
[0543] It can be understood that in each of the above embodiments, the methods and / or steps implemented by the wireless access network device can also be implemented by components that can be used for the wireless access network device (such as a processor, chip, chip system, circuit, logic module, or software such as a chip or circuit); the methods and / or steps implemented by the terminal device can also be implemented by components that can be used for the terminal device (such as a processor, chip, chip system, circuit, logic module, or software such as a chip or circuit).
[0544] The above mainly introduces the solution provided by this application. Accordingly, this application also provides a communication device, which is used to implement the various methods described above.
